There is parking for customers which is quite convenient as it is sometimes difficult to park in the near by roads. We did no have breakfast so I cannot vomment on it. We had a lovely stay. We stayed here while taking my son to start university, and it honestly made a big difference to what was quite an emotional trip. Katie was so friendly and thoughtful, keeping in touch during our long 8-hour drive and making our late arrival stress-free. She even suggested places still serving food, which really helped after a tiring day. Breakfast was lovely, served by such cheerful staff, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming. The location was ideal, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. It felt like we were looked after the whole time, the perfect start to a new chapter for our family.

What an excellent stay we had for 5 nights in August 2025. Katie is a marvellous host and Lugo Rock is a beautiful seaside place to stay with a quick walk to both the beach and the town centre. We loved it! Our family room was fantastic with two separate spaces with an interconnecting door. Breakfast was delicious and full English or any combination of was preordered each night. The dining room was welcoming and Trish, another lovely member of staff, was cheerful serving breakfast each day and giving advice about places to visit around and about. I visited Falmouth 12th July for the first time and selected Lugo Rock from the online reviews, to stay. There is room to park your car on site, 3 minutes walk from the beach (with a bar, restaurant and shops). About 8 minutes walk into the heart of Falmouth and the river/marina/museum/boat trips/shops and bar-restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The B&B was about a 3 minute walk from the beach and 6 minutes walk from the train station. About a 15 minute walk to the beginning of the town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the well stocked coffee and tea facilities in the room and the daily “treats” that we found when we came back to the room after being out for the day. Sachets of body/ hair wash were supplied as well. Generous breakfast. Parking for guests. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay in Falmouth. We arrived really late at night due to a lorry fire on the M5 and Katie was so incredibly helpful about it, including letting us have a later breakfast than normal. The room was spotlessly clean and everything refreshed daily. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked exactly how you want it, with a wide variety of cereals (including gluten free) and fruit as well. The hotel was quiet, and well located for a stroll into town or to the beach. We would recommend Lugo Rock to everyone!

Our room was very clean and we felt very at home- the beds were very comfortable and the shower was lovely. However, the breakfast did lack, we ordered room service and received the wrong order and the woman who brought it to our door was very rude and spoke under her breath when we didn’t answer the door the first time- as we were still asleep from our 6 hour journey the day before. The breakfast itself wasn’t great, quite dry and the eggs and toast were cold- not great when you pay for the breakfast in the price but found a lovely cafe just down the road from the b&b so wasn’t the end of the world. The parking was okay, quite cramped and had a random broken football goal taking up one of the spaces??? Very odd. But overall the landscape and room itself were great, lovely B&B right next to the sea and shops only a 5 minute or so walk, very convenient.

I can't recommend Lugo Rock enough. Katie has turned it into a really lovely b&b, with lots of nice personal touches. Nothing is too much trouble. Catering for all dietary requirements, help with local places to eat and visit. Train times. Delicious breakfasts and a great selection. Her and her staff make you feel very welcome. Lugo Rock is also in an ideal location, only minutes from Gyllyngvase beach, Falmouth town train station and the harbour.

Lugo Rock also helped us out with their laundry service ( which was very reasonably priced) as we ended up seriously muddy on one of the coastal walks.
