We stayed at Furama Resort Danang, and overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The location is excellent. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and even though I didn’t have time to visit them, just knowing they were there felt reassuring. The resort itself is very large, especially the restaurants—they are impressively spacious. The hotel sits right on the beach, and the property is beautiful and well-maintained, with a classic Vietnamese resort atmosphere and a strong sense of heritage.

That said, one issue stood out. Some staff members, particularly at the main restaurant, struggled significantly with English. One staff member did not understand even a very basic word like “pen,” which left me genuinely confused about whether it was a language barrier or a communication issue. It was a bit frustrating in the moment.

On the positive side, the hotel offers good dining options. The Italian restaurant inside the resort was especially good. Overall, despite the language challenges, the hotel’s location, beachfront setting, beautiful design, and heritage make it a place I would still recommend, particularly for travelers looking for a traditional Vietnamese-style resort experience.

Great pools and plenty of places to eat at although quite expensive
Nice rooms
We had to pay for extra beds which was expensive at £30 per child and a bit much as we’d already paid fir the children to stay but apparently your children r expected to sleep with under the age of 12!!
We found this in most hotels and resorts
Vietnam is a great place to visit and can be cheap to stay in but not if you go as a family and there r lots of add ons in the hotels and resorts where the food is over priced and not always the best
The people r friendly and helpful and there r plenty of things to see and do like the Dragon bridge the hands of god and water parks and markets
They eat a wide variety of foods some of which r definitely not to the western palate
The weather was good as well with only the occasional rain deluge
Generally it was hot and humid
The beaches r lovely and clean
Service is generally good

I stayed at the resort for 4 days and 3 nights . It wasn’t that nice as I expected . I smelled the sewer around my room. During the time we were at the resort, weather was very hot but the lobby didn’t provide water. It was inconvenient for us to go upstairs at 4th floor for water.
However, we all loved the breakfast .

Check-in process was terrible with long waits and they forgot to tell me that my room was ready - I had to check in with them multiple times after they inaccurately told me the wait times. The communication via Expedia was worse, Furama only responded when they needed questions answered., otherwise, took a few follow ups (and days) for them to respond to simple questions like shuttle service etc. Just to get a passive aggressive response like “as mentioned in our previous email”… what previous email?! We’ve been communicating through Expedia site only where you can check past messages! So rude and unprofessional.

My wife also wasn't feeling well on the last couple of day and they were so sweet with trying to find solutions to help her be comfortable. The dark wood in the rooms and hai van lounge create a beautiful atmosphere. The pianist in the lounge other evening was great.

I booked Villa and it’s totally different facilities. Far from main resort and inconvenient.
Two bedroom villa itself is humongous for 4 ppl but bedroom are very tiny and outdated. The villa are very old with partially renovated but still you can smell old building.
It is just big but very hard to live there. Example, there is only one outlet for electricity in one room.
And no hot water more than 5 min. We have to wait 20-30 min for second shower and even for first shower, hot water is done after 5 min.
If you have little kids, stay here since it’s big.
But if you not, this location is very isolated and nothing to do.
I probably won’t go back

We stayed at the Studio Suite with an ocean view for 5 nights. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

- Peacocks roam the area outside the breakfast restaurant making it an unique experience
- We found the peacock sanctuary (it's marked on the resort map) and got to spend more time with them as well as chickens & ducks
- As we stayed over Christmas, the resort had a Christmas Eve celebration with a choir, performances and of course Santa
- Suite was spacious and comfortable.

We would definitely be coming back

What an amazingly beautiful place with an incredibly high levels of customer service excellence. We were there for 4 nights as a part of a 2 week family holiday in Vietnam. The experience was a 5* from the moment we got off our taxi to the time we checked out and left. The service responsiveness was always positive and fast. I would , in particular, call out their restaurants which had a great set of food options - pan asian and non asian. Staying there on Christmas night was a bonus with the celebration and fun. It is right on the beach and very cose to various restaurants outside too. Great job team Furama ..

This was our 2nd trip to Furama this year and once again, it did not disappoint.
Service is excellent. Breakfast has enough selection for all nationalities. Grounds and building areas were very well kept.
Great location on the beach and close enough to get to the nightlife with ease.

Furama Villas in Danang is truly a luxurious experience. The Villas are enormous and great for big families and daresay was a bit too large for the 4 of us ! Better for those who intend to spend a lot of time at the resort . With so much to see in Danang and surrounde we were gone most days.
Buggy rides around the resort was a treat and the staff were all very helpful. We stayed 5 nights and would have liked breakfast included for the price.
Overall a wonderful experience!

Overall, our stay at the hotel in Da Nang was memorable, albeit with a challenging check-in experience. Despite having emailed the hotel beforehand about the possibility of an extra bed for our daughter without receiving a response, we arrived only to find that we weren't given the option, and there was an additional cost involved. This departure from the standard practice we encountered at other hotels during our two and a half weeks in Vietnam was disappointing and left us feeling uninformed.

However, the hotel itself was exceptional in many ways. The staff members were fantastic, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The amenities provided were great, and the surroundings were truly wonderful.

One standout moment was meeting the general manager, Andre, who impressed us with his thoughtfulness and excellent representation of the company. His responsiveness to our concerns was commendable and added to the positive impression we had of the hotel.

Despite the initial hiccup with the check-in process, I would still highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Da Nang.

Pool and beach are unsurpassed. So beautiful.
We were in Lagoon room this time. Didn’t want to pay for ocean view. It was very nice. Fourth floor had high ceilings. Still the lovely carved wood touches and shutters that make the ocean view rooms so wonderful.

After coming here for special occasions over the years, we were surprised by the high food prices. We chose not to eat here. $70 per person fir a buffet dinner with two busloads of Korean tourists didn’t appeal yo us.

Overall, we were satisfied with the comfort and aesthetic of the room and especially the beautiful pool and beach.

We upgraded to a 1 bed villa, which was massive. Spotlessly clean, and we had room service every day.The swimming pool we used was large and not busy (end of April).
Breakfast was excellant, a wide variety to choose from. The restaurant was lovely, plenty of staff to assist.

Furama rooms and areas looked old and worned but clean. Staff are very friendly. Kids club staff are very nice too. Took the garden facing rooms and it was super noisy starting at 5.30am with the birds chripping etc. No food stall / eatery within walking distance. Just one restaurant in hotel therefore limited food options. We did grab a few times but due to the delivery guys are not allowed to come in, you need to run out to the security post to meet them which is a hassle if you stay right in.

Hotel is in a gorgeous location, with wonderful scenery both in and around the resort. Unfortunately, this did lead to the majority of guests spending more time getting insta friendly photos than using the actual facilities. Staff were very attentive and always on hand to help. Spa facilities were excellent and of a reasonable price.

One major downside would be that the hotel markets itself as a culinary resort. This really is a stretch with one sub-par Italian restaurant and a pretty middle of the line Asian restaurant next door. Getting a drink after 11pm outside of high season also appears to be difficult, so would suggest stocking up on some drink from a local shop, if that way inclined, as the mini bar is also lacking.

Also, Expedia states there is a swim up bar... there is not.

I have here many time but now I'm disappointed.

I have been in this hotel so many times as I love the hotel's garden but I think, this is the last time I stay. Stay in the hotel but little bit like under control of someone. Every time I come back to hotel, security at the parking asked me where are you going, I answered \"I'm going to hotel\", I was approaching to the lobby, an other security stoped me and ask again, where I'm going. I paying for staying here and I have to tell them where I go and what I do? Then spoke to the concierge, after that I went to my room, a staff at the front desk running to me and ask for my room number. I told her to check at your guest list if you are a receptionist. No body show me the table for breakfast, I choose a table and wait for someone to clean the table but no one care about this. I came to them and told them to do it, the table was completely dirty of food but they did not change the table linen. They just place new cutlery set on it.

Pools were so good and the gym was really clean.There were a few issues with our room (such as bath tub didn't work and toilet on the last day broke) however staff were very helpful and straight onto it and did not give us any trouble so I would say that's a very good benefit as we did not stress out about it. They were sincerely apologetic and that's a good trait to have.

This resort is big but due to COVID, it is empty. As a result, lights and music in restaurants are turned off which makes it feel like a deserted movie set. Worse experience: lights in toilet by pool are turned off, so you need to prop the door open to see. Fumbling around the toilet for the flush handle was one of the grossest experience.

We expect hotel restaurants to be pricey and this is no exception. Breakfast was $21 but good with an enormous variety. Lunches did not meet the expectation provided by the price.

The staff went out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect. The food at the Italian Restaurant was amazing better than Italy! We loved the lagoon pool it was a piece of paradise after a busy day in De Nang.
