Staff was great, clean room

Staff watched me use the last of half and half in my coffee. The container was not refilled or replaced. Sunday night’s reception required supervision of which there was none.

The property is very outdated. Full size beds with no box springs.
The AC is still a little unit under the window. Definitely not worth $250.00/night!

Good location, very basic
Quiet and well located, near highway interchange and several food/gas options. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout checkin, breakfast and checkout.
Drawbacks were no microwave in the room, very small fridge in room (did not accommodate a standard takeout to go box), no available outlet for the coffee maker that didn’t require it to sit on the floor or move large furniture and unplug other lights, and no visitor chair for seating so everyone has to sit on the bed. Rooms are recently renovated so finishes are clean and in nice shape so it’s surprising that a few basic conveniences were missing.

No EV chargers
Hotels.com said there was a charging station for my Electric vehicle. There wasn’t one.

Everyone was so nice and friendly. Misty greeted us as soon as we walked in and was quick to let us in our room. Everyone we dealt with was welcoming and professional.

Third time staying at the property and I just felt the gentleman checking us in was very unprofessional. Seemed to be a bit put off that we rang the bell to get his attention to check us in. This was after standing there for a bit.
We asked for extra bedding and he just seemed annoyed. We hadn’t experienced this before at this particular hotel.

We were passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. Great location
Pam
After going to eat and to WalMart, when we arrived to enter the building from the back entrance, our key cards did not work and we had to carry all of our stuff around the building to the front. It was not a big deal for us; however, if someone really needed to get in that door, it could be very inconvenient. We reported it to the person at the front desk who said it'd been that way a long time. Our bathroom sink drained very slowly which was inconvenient particularly when getting ready to go somewhere. It was an average size room, not very roomy. The beds were comfy and each one had 4 regular size pillows, not the small square ones.
Karen
Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower. Staff was helpful highly recommend

Comfy Hotel !
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable with extra pillows and blankets available. AC worked great and actually got cold! Would totally stay here again.

Bed was great, Breakfast was only till 8:30 and they were out of eggs at 8:15. Attendant was not helpful.
Monty
Bed was very uncomfortable. Especially the pillows. No support at all.
nancy
The hotel was very clean. We received a hot breakfast, which is not always provided even though the websites say it is. I have stayed at a few Fairfield Inn & Suites now and have had a pleasant experience each time.

Cleaning person didn't wear a mask and sneezed
Sadly all of my reviews during the pandemic are related to whether or not the location could make me ill. I thought this was a very nice building well made and comfortable beds. The cleaning person was wearing no mask and was sneezing while she was cleaning rooms. In this time of the pandemic I have no tolerance for this.
Traci
The lady at the front was fantastic. We were here for a soccer tournament and she was great.

great find
PICked this hotel on a whim, but was blown away by how nice the property was - bonus points on tv size and channels including Netflix.
Verified traveler
It was a very relaxing stay and very quiet as well as clean.
Verified traveler
I didn’t find anything I didn’t like about this property.
Verified traveler
It was nice that they had complimentary coffee and tea however the water was luke warm. The only elevator in the hotel was out of service so we had to carry our suitcases and bags to the second floor.
Verified traveler
The mattresses were really hard. Newly renovated hotel abd they missed what makes a good nights sleep. Everything else was great.
Latosia
We had a great stay.
Verified traveler
It was very clean and nicely decorated. Great place to stay and easy to go to from highway.

Better than I expected
Great stay. Comfortable bed. Basic continental breakfast but that’s all I needed. It was a nice and clean hotel room.

Solid hotel
Good stay. Found it and booked minutes before checking in. Very clean and modern.
Tina
Great place to stop over!
This hotel was recently renovated. It’s situated off the interstate just a bit so it seemed quieter than some of the other options in the area.
I would definitely stay there again.

Great location, great place to stay!
Verified traveler
Everything was fine, fairly newly remodeled so all good. Had local Fox affiliate TV on in the morning, so that was annoying!
Verified traveler
There eas an odor in the lobby when you entered. Carpet in lobby and room was hideous. Should have had hard floors. Breakfast was disappointing. Keep the food freshly stocked so omelettes don't get hard and bacon limp and greasy. Better still, have scrambled eggs and keep replenishing. Don't put out a huge quantity and let it sit for hours. Have biscuits and gravy. You're in Kentucky for gosh sake. Night clerk was wonderful. Pat was her name. Morning clerk did not even ask me how my stay was. She did not appear to be interested. Very disappointing for a Marriott.
Verified traveler
Liked the location, cleanliness , and decor.
Breakfast was good and hot.
Didn't like that the elevator went out.
The suction in the toilet is weak.

Lovely remodel. Great facility. It was a pleasure to stay there.
Verified traveler
The lobby area is under renovation, making check in rather cumbersome and moving luggage through toy the elevator challenging. If will obvious be improved some, but not the greatest at this time.
Verified traveler
Hotel was very, very clean. Smelled pleasant. Did not have the “hotel” smell. Staff was very polite.

Elizabethtown Fairfield Inn
Clean with a great location. The room was recently refurbished. The bed was comfortable. Large TV.
Tom
Great breakfast, comfortable room. Signage to get into parking lot off the highway could be better.
Steve
Arriving around 8pm is no good idea, except you have time until someone shows up. I had a room by the elevator and ice maker. This room was dirty, had this the last time a century ago in a cheep chain. That how I feel over the one night stay, in a dirty hotel. Your sleep will be no good close to the elevator, and that was it was.
Melissa
Great hotel!
We had a great stay! It was a last minute decision to stay the night while traveling south and we chose this hotel bc of the price, and good reviews. It was very clean, VERY friendly staff, comfortable beds and a welcoming place! We are very happy with our stay here and would recommend it and would definitely stay again if we come that way again some day!
Verified traveler
The first room air was not working but they changed our room very quickly
Verified traveler
Great hotel and it was close to my family member that I was visiting.
Verified traveler
The hotel was adequate for our overnight stay. However, the bed was not comfortable and the TV service was terrible. There were no HD channels available and everything we tried to watch was fuzzy and stretched out. For a Fairfield, I was disappointed. For a quick night stay it was perfectly fine.
Judy
Convenient close to the highway.
Breakfast quality could be improved. Otherwise, I would stay again.
Verified traveler
nice room and soft bed.
I went to the hot tub water needs to be hotter IOT reduce bactaria
Verified traveler
Hotel is fine
Picked this hotel bc there aren't many in the area and it is a Marriott. Doesn't have a restaurant or sell alcohol, as I think is common in the area, so arrive prepared. People were nice. Hotel is not exciting but is fine and will work.
Donna
not great
Room was ok, not what we booked. Not in the best condition. I will not stay here again.
Joy
It is a nice hotel. Friendly staff but the beds were horrible. The mattress had a permanent indentation from previous guests. Terrible nights sleep. The breakfast was no better than one of the cheaper hotels I’ve stayed in.
Verified traveler
Clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was very good with lots of choices

Room smelled musty when open door to go inside room. Bathroom not cleaned well and floor in room around beds not swept

One night stay to break up a drive
A great hotel for what we needed. Quick check in, friendly staff, and clean rooms with comfortable beds.

On the way South
Our room was clean and basic. Surprise....No refrigerator or microwave, and we had brought along some leftover roast beef that, luckily, tasted good without heating. It was already late and we wanted to watch our bowl game, but it was on a sports channel not available at the hotel. The next night, for the same $$, we had a hotel further south, with all the things we needed the first night. Smarter booking! Hot roast beef!

Clean and Comfy
Just a quick stay but we were pleased with our choice.
Sandra
It was very nice. We were in a new and different place and the only trouble that we had was finding the entrance into the hotel. It was dark when we arrived at the hotel and we went to where the sign was but it was at the hotel next to the Fairfield. The parking lot seemed really pretty dark and for it being in a new town, it was a little uncomfortable coming in and out of the building.
David
The staff was excellent.

Clean, quiet and comfortable with friendly staff. This is hotels should be!
Denise
One night stop over
Our room was pleasant, Guest services called shortly after we checked in to find out how we liked the room. The area was good for restaurants, several in walking distance. Staff repeatedly said on check in that we had received an exceptional rate. Which made me a little suspicious at first. Couldn't tell if they were bragging or warning me of extra charges.
Verified traveler
Very comfortable beds. Need an in room refrigerator to be better overall
cindy
Nice clean hotel
I would definitely stay here again. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. The only problem we had was the elevator had some issues and the bathtub drain was a little stopped up. Overall I had a good nights sleep.
