Isabelle was so nice to us. We appreciated it. The view is excellent. The beach is right across the street. I loved walking for miles along the beach. Tons of places to eat and shop. The only thing is I sent a message and they never got back to me during a 2 night stay.

It was dirty and in disastrous condition! The property is attached to a social housing complex with addicts in the street. Cockroachs, dirty pool, and bathroom, train rushing by every few minutes. We checked out right after visiting the room. We don't expect much but that was disgusting. We couldn't stay here. Sorry, but that is my honest opinion.

The only good thing was the pool. But no life gaurd and over crowded. The suite was incredibly dirty so many horrible things to say about this hotel. Management is digustingly rude by far the worse hotel i have ever stayed at. Reception closes for a part of the day everyday!!! So no one is there to deal with any issues. Staff is so rude, my goodness it was the worse experience!!! No lighting in the halls that are barred up its scary and teenagers hanging out in the halls until late did not feel safe at all! ***beware***

Didn't like anything , the rooms are tiny , there is no aircon, and the room which has a double bed in it, is no bigger than a cupboard it has a fan ,but the cord doesn't reach the power point, what a joke!!! The photos are nothing like whats advertised, the gardens have weeds everywhere and dead bushes , its a 2 star property should be named fawlty towers.
there are better properties for the price.

The best thing about this place is their proximity to the beach. A quick walk gets you there.

The hotel did not work for me. We arrived late and there was no reception. We had to wait for security guard to start working 45 mins later to get our room key. We tried calling the number left on the wall and they placed us on hold and never came back on.

The room was fine. Lots of sleeping options. The beds were hard as a rock, no AC and a heat wave made the room very hot. Their was no ac in the room. Most uncomfortable sleep ever. I couldn’t wait to leave. We stayed 4 nights. They only gave us 4 sets of towels for the 4 of us. We asked for clean towns they said no Only one set per stay. We ran out of toilet paper and we asked for more and they said no. Only one role per stay. We had to purchase our own. There was not a convenience store on site and had to find grocery store to get some supplies. It was pretty far. The hotel is not located conveniently to shopping that we new of.

The view from the room was nice. The pool life guard was nice, but the woman at the front desk was indifferent to us.

It was not a preferred stay for us.

STAY. AWAY.

The rooms are so exaggerated from what appears online than actuality. Room smelled like smoke, dirty and after discovering there is NO AIR CONDITIONING for the largest unit I reserved (6/7 people/Sea View), I advised them I needed to leave before I even unpacked. They (the Manager who eventually I had to talk to over the phone since NONE of their staff spoke English) would NOT refund my money despite all of these reasons (not to mention I had a guest with me who had a serious health condition). And I paid for it all upfront. Unless they agree to change their position on a refund, I plan on complaining a whole lot (and not just to this hotel but with any other travel bureaus I can identify that promotes this property).

Get way from here

At first we walked in felt like abandoned place,the staff is just there to handle the keys and helge list of extra charges. Reception is open couple hours in the morning and evening then if you need anything at all you will never see any staff on the place. Paid 5 nights just stayed 2.wast of money as I had to pay other hotel

Ugly place, lying staff Avoid!!!!!

Just bad terribly bad our flat for 2 adults plus 2 toddlers was so small even for 3 days it was a struggle. The staff was supposed to be open at 9 am according to Expedia they didn’t show up until 3 pm. I confronted the staff and they lied saying it was indicated they would open at 3 pm and of course it wasn’t.

The hotel is ideally located to good train links and bus stops. Convenient eating places a few minutes away and sea as at your doorstep. Swimming pools at the hotel were great for families. the cafe by the pool was disappointing - staff was a bit rude because we wore our bathing costumes (although the cafe was right on the pool side!). Hotel Desperately needs upgrading. Rooms are a bit small and wifi isn't great.

I was utely shocked when the receptionist showed me our room.

First of all the hotel need a major fix up and freshener up. It look very unkept, rusty and old. The hotel looked sad.

The reason I booked with Expedia is because you are a very well known and professional company but I was very very disappointed.

When they showed us the room I was shocked and I actually thought that it was a joke.

The room was on a basement with no air con and no view. It felt hot as an oven.
The room was clostophobic, small with no air.
But, It got worse ....

.... the curtains had holes and the toilet was so rusty.... it was inhabitable.
We then asked for a different room and we were charged another €70 euros

We were disappointed to find out about nice boutique hotel closer to Canes that were charging €50 per room and with impeccable facilities ( WITH AIR CON)

We were 3 staying in on this room and it was unbearable to say the least.

It was horrible, horrible to say the least....
On top of that I had my friends frequently reminding me how awful was that hotel.

I am so sad angry and very very disappointed to say the least.

The temperature in south of France, was very hot and we were boiling on that room.
All 4 of us could not breath, and sleep for 2 nights and we have arrived in the Uk all very unwell.
I have stayed on Pierre Vacance .....BUT.....this one was special.
I am angry, sad and frustrated to been sold a holiday from tell

This room stated on the website that it could fit a family of 4/5 people, there was only 3 of us and we only just fitted. You had to close one door to open another it was that compact. The balcony screen was broken, which would have poised a problem if we had had a small child. The beds were the hard.

Not as bad as people make out.

The hotel is essentially a self catering apartment, extra bedding is provided as well as a brush so that any room maintenance can be done yourselves. The room also came with a well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. The hotel is actually owned by a well known holiday company, I am not sure if I can name it on this site so I will call it middle parks in the hope people can guess. The stay is exactly the same as one of these resorts, basic but clean. It should also be noted that the hotel gardens and pool were very well kept, the pool was cleaned twice a day and we saw a team of gardeners constantly ensuring the landscaped gardens are kept in check.
Unfortunately there isn't a great deal to do in Cannes-la-bocca, restaraunts are limited but there are some ok take-aways. The train station is a 10min walk which can get you into Cannes central in 3min or Nice in 40. Overall I wasn't disappointed and we had a great stay.

Do not let the photos fool you...this place did not look anything like the nice photos. Very small, too many doors blocking the hallway, no wifi but you can pay for it...paid and had it work for about 10 minutes then it didn't work the rest of the trip. Doors were tough to close, had to slam them. Bring your own toilet paper as the room supplies one roll and if you ask for another they will say no. Will not stay here again and will not recommend to other travelers.

Good location, next to the beach. There is a train line beside the hotel but you tune it out after a while. Handy for travelling to Nice, Monaco etc. The pools are lovely. The staff are helpful. The rooms aren't cleaned, you have to clean them yourself. Nice restaurants around, but expensive. Would recommend going into Cannes- the local bus is €1.50 each- more choice there. Plenty of take aways nearby.Would definitely go back.

Nice stay ruined by the reception unefficiency

We stayed nine nights, upon arrival the apartment was clean and had a nice view on the sea and the swimming pool.The first 6 nights were fine, even though the resort is a bit noisy and you can hear the people living on the flat upstairs and the ones coming back to the flat. We had a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom that we reported straight away and we had been told that someone would come in the afternoon but when we came back at night there was no sign someone came. On the next day we went back to the reception and asked to move flat while they repaired the leak as it was leaking more heavily. They did not accepted our request saying someone would come straight away.... one hour later. As the reception has limited opening hours, when we came back at night, we just noticed that someone came to the flat. Later that night, we found ourselves without electricity, probably due to the leak, from 1am till the moment we checked out at 9am. The receptionist was sorry, but when asked for a refund for the last night said that as we paid on hotels.com there was nothing she could do. We then asked for the phone number of the customer service and have been told that we could try but they are very difficult to get in touch with, as if to discourage us to call them.

Over the years we have stayed here many times and we have always been happy but unfortunately there has been a decline,the place needs updating.
Pierre Vacances is placed in a very nice position and reasonably priced.
Some extremely loud guests were really annoying shooting and screaming.It has always been a m ore family place or couples but this time not so.I will stay with Pierre Vacances but possibly stay in one of their other properties and not La Verrerie.

Taken the train noise and the pillow ... make sure you take your own pillows ...this is the place to go is 30min driving from nice airport and close to quite few place if you want to explore south France....staff are helpful and they have a car park which you have to paid for....

The worst ever

The reception close long time twice a week we did not know about the timing till next two days. The train is so close to the hotel that prevented us from good sleeping. The washing mashin is down in the 0 level ( we were in 8) and dose not clean well for 5 euro for each time.
The room is so small ( though we were 4 and I booked for 5) that non of us could stand and walk if the other is moving, and they said its a family room..! We asked for a sea view, but you have to stand up to see it..!
We have to clean the room, buy everything and prepair the beds even for the first night! The beds are 4 , 2 of them are for sitting on in the living room and kichenet..
I did not recive the voucher when we arrived, and when we wanted to leave I asked to sigh up for the reservation bill, they said you have to ask for it through the hotels. Com not by us.... We don't give you one.
I can say it was the worst hotel I have ever been to.

The reviews were correct - don't stay here.

I've never written a review before but feel I have to here. I unfortunately book the hotel then read the reviews that said don't stay here and they were right. We had to pay for towels for our room when we checked in. Then waited 20 minutes to get into garage as something wasn't working. Got to our room and it had not even been cleaned so had to stay in the room while the maid service cleaned as they wanted me to lug all my bags back out of the room. There were bars on the windows and some sort of chicken wire on balconies. Hotels.com should take hotels like this off and whatever company owns the hotel should be ashamed that they are calling themselves one.

Lack of receiption service and room cleaning

The receiption only works from 9am to 7pm, it means they only start to work AFTER i go out for work and they are off work before my off work. I am not able to meet receiption to communicate. Meanwhile, receiption telephone are alway no answer ! I can cotact nobody ! And, during my stay 5 nights, nobody come to clean the room, no towel change. When i throw the trash by myself, no new trash plastic bag being provided ! It's a mess.

Not A Hotel & They WIll Try To Overcharge You

This is an apartment. It is not an Apart-hotel. There is no service like a hotel here at all. They do not clean at any time of your stay even if you ask. You must then buy all cleaning supplies to clean it yourself. It's not posted, but extra towels, toilette paper and soap are extra charges if you need them. They tried to charge 9 euro per towel (27 euro) for three clean towels we needed after 2 days of no one coming to the room to clean or change towels. Hair is on the bed sheets and pillows, dirt behind the doors and no dishwashing liquid or cleaning brushes to wash your dishes. The pools are not maintained well and I wouldn't put my kids in there. So although the pictures are nice, the people staying there who play music loud, yell and scream on their balconies at night, unclean pool as well as unclean cafe, are all so below standard that you end up taking the bus or taxi to go somewhere else nicer or more decent in the centre.

Maeva appartments are only just satisfactory. Sheets given on arrival. Make your own beds, clean your own room. Limited reception hours. Building will soon need a face lift. Our balcony was deteriorating from neglect. Noise! Noise Noise. from neighbours above and passing in corridor. Train passing frequently in front. Pool nice but not non-swimmer/beginner friendly. Step outside and avoid the dog muck and cigarette ends. Sandy beach short walk only but not much width. Cigarette ends litter the little sand there is. Evening Cannes la boca is sleazy so take care! Economy Supermarkets ie. Intermarche and carrefour a bus ride away. Any problems, common answer 'it has nothing to do with us!'

The hotel is ever a 3 star hotel, as the pool was dirty (I have a pool at home and this one in the hotel was scary dirty...filthy I would say), no A/C, the trains are driving through your room 50 times a day and the room made so small that no space for suitcages at all! Much better than anticipated.

We had a 6th floor apartment which could sleep 6/7 we were only two but it gave us more space and comfort then expected. We Stayed in these apartments before but in a privately owned apartment and found that this one, rented through Expedia was superior in size and fittings. Obviously, at the price, luxuriouos surroundings are not expected but it was clean, had everything we required except a kettle (it had a coffee maker). Improvements from previous years included corridors much cleaner, more poolside furniture, refurbished lifts and a fresher look at Reception. Best thing the outing to St. Paul de Vence/Gourdon arranged by the Pierre & Vacance group. Faboulous tour in mini buses with vey good helpful guides/drivers. Negatives include the night entrance/exit arrangements when the main entrance is locked at night, the messing of the entrance paths and surrounding pavements by dogs. The French seem worse than the British as far as dog mess is concerned. Nevertheless I would go back there as I like the area and its bus and rail links to Cannes centre and the rest of the Cote d' Azure including the chance to go into Italy.

La chambre familiale était censée accueillir 6 personnes, mais en réalité elle ne correspondait pas à cette capacité. La propreté n’était pas irréprochable. Lors de la réservation, il était indiqué « vue sur la mer », cependant ma chambre se trouvait au rez-de-chaussée avec une vue inexistante.

Les chambres sont assez anciennes et mériteraient une rénovation. De plus, la remise des chambres à 16h fait que la moitié de la journée est déjà perdue.

L’expérience globale n’a pas été à la hauteur de mes attentes. Le seul point positif reste l’emplacement de l’hôtel, qui est bon

Helt ok hotell for en rimelig penge.

Hotellet har en fin beliggenhet i forhold til stranden og Cannes by. Hotellet hadde et fint og stort basseng og området ved bassenget var et pluss for meg.
Renholdet på balkongen vår dårlig da vi kom, leiligheten var helt ok, men det bar preg av at det burde oppdateres. Området hotellet lå i var ikke så innbydende, men vi fant en liten sidegate rett ved hotellet som var veldig koselig. Restauranten serverte nydelige mat.

Strongly Recommend Avoiding – Extremely Poor Condi

We chose to leave this property on the same day we arrived (June 23, 2025), as the room did not meet our expectations in any way. It was in extremely poor condition – dirty, damaged, worn down, and with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It felt neither safe nor comfortable to stay.

The reception was closed and completely unreachable. We contacted Hotels.com, who handled our booking, and they also tried to reach the property but received no response.

We checked out at 8:30 PM and left the key in the drop box. We then booked another hotel to continue our stay.

Due to the unacceptable state of the room and the complete lack of support or communication, we cannot recommend this accommodation to anyone with even basic expectations of cleanliness, comfort, or service. Strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Hebergement pas assez chauffé et zone autour assez dangereuse. Nous sommes arrivé tard. Soggiorno a Cannes La Bocca

Da quasi 30 anni frequento Cannes per periodi più o meno lunghi; abitualmente vado in appartamenti a Cannes centro, quest’anno il tutto esaurito mi ha portato a La Bocca, 3,5 km di passeggiata lungomare da Cannes.
Il 3 piano fronte mare del Pierre et Vacances Verrerie regala una bella vista sulla piscina e sul mare; il balcone attrezzato permette gradevoli pasti all’aperto. Il bilocale era pulito e con spazio sfruttato all’estremo: armadi ad angolo e una camera matrimoniale con appena lo spazio per girare intorno al letto camminando lateralmente e trattenendo il fiato per rimpicciolirsi. Attrezzato con lavastoviglie, piatti, pentole, aspirapolvere ecc, aveva tutto il necessario per una vacanza anche di lunga permanenza.
I garages sotterranei erano comodi e compresi nella tariffa dell’appartamento, un risparmio minimo di €20/gg rispetto alle soluzioni in centro a Cannes, dove il parking è sempre a pagamento.
La reception non fa orario continuato ma, quando presente, il personale è accogliente, gentile e disponibile.
Se non disturba la distanza da Cannes, il Verrerie è una valida alternativa, con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Struttura un po datata e di grandi dimensioni. A giugno non era molto affollata quindi è risultata gradevole e vivibile. Le stanze sono piccole ma ben studiate con tutto il necessario (lavastovoglie, bollitore, stoviglie e kit di benvenuto con detersivi x pulire). Meraviglioso il balcone vista mare e piscina. Appartamento piccolo come da descrizione, Wi-Fi pessimo, pulizia piscina buona ma nelle parti comuni non sempre.Zona servita e centro Cannes a 15 minuti auto.Ottimo il parcheggio coperto della struttura ma si trovano sul lungo mare parcheggi liberi e gratis.

Das Hotel liegt nur 5 Gehminuten vom Meer entfernt.
Ungünstigerweise verläuft zwischen Meer und Hotel eine stark befahrene Bahnlinie. Den Zuglärm hält die Balkontür nur mäßig ab.

Appartement fonctionnel le couchage confortable vu sur mer magnifique seule bémols le passage du train, situation de l'hébergement pas loi. De la plage cadre au top réceptionnistes tres a l'écoute souriante je reviendrais 😊

Wir hatten einen rundum herrlichen Aufenthalt in der Residenz, die Wohnung war grosszügig, sonnig, mit Meerblick Terrasse, auch in der Küche war alles notwendige vorhanden. Es war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Schade war das Schwimmbad erst ab 10 Uhr offen, gerne wäre ich am frühen morgen geschwommen. Kann die Residenz nur empfehlen und komme sicher bald wieder zurück!

de kamers waren schoon, er was veel geld voor de eerste keer, veel schone witte handdoeken, veel extra beddengoed. technische dienst, indien nodig, kwam direct en deed alles wat nodig was. de werknemers zijn beleefd en gastvrij, het uitzicht vanuit het raam is geweldig, het zwembad is goed. aanbevelen voor gezinnen met kinderen.

Accueil null sinon super appart

La chambre est super mais
L'accueil est horrible
Nous sommes arrivé l'après midi l'accueil est fermé il faut appeler sur l'interphone une accueil qui est ailleur dans un siège nous avons rien compris pour la récupération des clefs la chambre etc
La nana nous a raccroché au nez 3 fois en disant (je suis au pont royal moi vous voulez que je vous fasse quoi et op raccroche) !!
Au final on a compris qu'iks faut récupérer les clefs dans une boîte à lettres en demandant au gens ......
En général l'appart été pas mal il ya de la vaisselle casserole marmite etc il faut savoir qu'il y a pas de ménage c une résidence chacun son appart
Sans oublier Le bruit des train la raie qui est juste à côté 😅

Bra hotell nära till hav, affärer samt tågstation

Helt okay hotell med pool samt närhet till hav (2-300 meter) bageri samt mataffär inom 500 meter. Nära till tågstation 2-3 min promenad där tåget tog 4 minuter till centrala Cannes samt ca 40 min till Nice.

Tåg passerade precis vid hotellet men störde ej nämnvärt. Ganska slitet men fullt bra skick. Barnen nöjda så även föräldrarna. Rekommenderas verkligen till ett så fördelaktigt pris

Die Aussicht ist super, der Rest naja... . Es scheint sich hier um eine sehr grosse Wohnliegenschaft der Untersten klasse zu handeln. Wir haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt. Entspricht sicher nicht dem was vermittelt wird.

Forfærdeligt sted - kan absolut ikke anbefales

Alt i alt et helt forfærdeligt sted.
Allerede ved ankomst ser man at stedet ikke ser lige så lækkert ud som på billeder. Men det var dog ingenting i forhold til hvor skuffede vi blev da vi kom op i vores lejlighed.
Alt var beskidt og meget slidt. Der lugtede af kloak i hele lejligheden, og der var meget ulækkert. Ingen ventilation på badeværelset (hvilket gør badeværelset meget ulækkert) og ej heller aircondition.
Vi havde bestilt havudsigt, men det var dog ikke muligt at se når man sad på terrassen, da man bare kigger ind i en grim betonmur.
Ude på gangene til lejlighederne var der også slidt og meget ulækkert, virkelig ikke særlig indbydende.
Vi gik en tur i lokalområdet, og det var heller ikke nogen god oplevelse. Tror det er Cannes svar på et slum område. Det lugter af tis alle vegne, og der ligger hundelorte alle vegne.
Vi havde booket 8 nætter her, men efter den første overnatning blev vi hurtigt enige om at vores ferie ikke skulle ødelægges af dette usle sted, så vi besluttede at checke ud og finde et andet sted at holde vores ferie.
Dette på trods af alt var betalt, så håber det siger lidt om hvor slemt vi synes det var.
Kan virkelig ikke anbefale nogen at tage hertil.
