In the middle of the night, my son woke me up and on his beds I saw hundreds of bed bugs and blood stains on his sheet. It was disgusting sight. I then ran to my bed and I also encountered many on my sheets and in wall etc.
I put many garments in the microwave but unfortunately burned many ...
I packed all and I rushed every one to leave after getting a short shower.
That was at 4am and we were very tired.
We drove to a laundromat but it was closed.
This place should not be listed due to low rating and now infested with bed bugs.
No amount can be paid to compensate for this incident or to make up for the inconvenience we encountered

The property is not maintaied properly. The shower cubical drain was almost blocked. Water passed very slowly. The microwave which was given first was broken, but when I complained, they changed it immediately. The lock of the property was bad. Sometimes the lock won't open and you have to remove the key and start again. The main corridor was very dark. There was no sensor which will switch on the light, you have to switch it on manually. It was very difficult to find out the switch in the dark. Otherwise the accomodation was nice, room was quite big .

We saw all the terrible reviews on our way to this stay so we were definitely nervous! However on arrival we were relieved, from the outside and reception it is not the most glamorous hotel and if you’re expecting “hotel service” don’t, it is a very basic place, the room itself was clean and very spacious, kitchenette worked great and we saved heaps home cooking meals this week, we couldn’t work out the AC unit however the fan worked fine! The beach is super close and so many shops and supermarkets around. The deposit paid on arrival was reimbursed the same afternoon we checked out. (There was no toilet paper on arrival, I’m sure we could’ve asked for some however we just went and bought some when we got there so not the end of the world)

1. Does not have wifi
2. Does not offer 12$ parking. Parking will be on the street wherever you can find
3. Does not have AC (but they already mention this in the booking)
4. There will be men partying in their cars shouting and honking at 2 am outside the hotel. We did not feel safe in this neighborhood
5. There is no help between 5 pm to 11 am. So if you have any issues, no one to help you

The elevator ws broken for over two weeks and a seven store clime twice or thrice a day was the result. There was never anyone before 10:30 and after 17:00. So no help no information, no change of sheets or towels and one day the front door electronic key did not work so I had to wait for someone to leave and let me in. It is shameful and unbelievable that a chain like this withany hotels in France can’t get an elevator fixed for the old people living in the premices, at the contrary at my arrival they made jokes about it. My advice never ever go there and kick it out of your listing.

STAY IN CANNES LA BOCCA

Gentleman at the reception, when I checked-in, was friendly and communicative.
After having my flight delayed and eventually cancelled, then had to take a late night flight, of which I arrived after check-in hours, the hotel managed to send me codes to get enter the building and get the key to my room, which I greatly appreciated. Thanks to the customer service of Hotels.com / Expedia.

I was rather disappointed with old dirty paint marks in the hallway and the inside the elevator. Not sure why this has not been cleaned up after a long time. I have seen photos of other customers who stayed of white paint, but now it had turned to brownish colour and the smell was terrible.

Thankfully, my room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Though curtains were not so clean.

Internet and heating worked perfectly. Was good to have a fridge and a kitchenette.

I was surprised when asked to pay a deposit of 200 Euros, which was not mentioned in my booking confirmation, which mentioned that everything was paid for and all I had to pay at the property was the City Tax. Strangely, I stayed at this same place in May and I was not asked to pay a deposit. I wish these kind of rules should be clearly written out in the property's description and confirmation.

Nonetheless, the place is close to many shops, easily accessible by train and bus. The bus stop is a few steps from the building and the train station less than 10 minutes walk. The sea and the beach is within walking distance.

La Bocca Resid is a good place to stay close to Cannes. Train station was nearby, bus stop outside, cheap dining options, local market, pastry shop. I felt safe in the area. It was a small bus ride from Midi beach.

Room was not super clean, elevator unusable for a day due to huge paint spill (smelt like paint thinner for a while afterwards), bad communication and strange smell in room throughout stay. However, room was very close to beach and in walkable and fun area. Unfortunately, our room did not have a balcony and the windows let in lots of noise. No AC, very hot.

Scam: Do Not Come Here if You Will Check In Late

The hotel told me via phone they would make arrangements for me to check in late by leaving a code - emailed to me on the day I would arrive. It got to the day and I received no code. I also tried phoning that day but over an hour worth of calls and no answer. And don’t bother with emails as they never respond. Consequently, I had to then book another hotel to stay for the night costing me an extra £100. On arrival the next day at check in, it took over an hour as (although I was not informed by them why - a French girl also waiting for reception informed me they had given my room to someone else). Eventually I got the room, although they did try to make me pay again (I refused and didn’t have to in the end). Nevertheless they said I would be unable to get a refund for the day I couldn’t check in despite them making the mistake due to it being in the contract that you can’t check in late?? Which sounds like something from the 19th century. As I was not at fault here - something which would’ve been nice of the hotel to offer.

The room itself was horrible (which you expect for the cheapest hotel available) but was also unclean. And with the above happening, meant it would’ve been worth booking a more expensive hotel elsewhere.

Only positive was for the festival; transport links were good. But overall - avoid unless you want to be scammed.

Lone female foreign traveler books hotel w/o wifi

I booked a stay at the ResidHotel because orbitz said they had free wifi for guest... When I arrived, there was no wifi, and continued to be no wifi for my entire stay. The staff was super nice, spoke really good English, and gave me directions to the nearest cybercafe, which was helpful.. But the cafe closed at 7p, after which time I was stuck without being able to look up directions, call an uber, etc. which friggin sucked.
I booked the room knowing what I could be getting myself into at that price range, but was pleasantly surprised. The area wasn't as touristy as Cannes, which I prefer. A morning market is located right near the hotel and the beach access was super close. If the wifi had been working I would have been really pleased for the price, would have said it was a \"steal.\" if there was AC, I couldn't get it to work, but my balcony provided all the air flow I needed. I would recommend this hotel to travelers (not tourist, mind you) that don't have super high standards, prefer to get off the beaten path, and don't mind navigating public transit. If you weekend at the four seasons, stay away... But if you're like me and frequent hostels, it's a decent amount for the room.

Stayed in a 2nd. floor studio at the rear of the building. Very spacious with sliding doors unto a large balcony which gets the sun all day but only has a view of surrounding apartments.
Bathroom large with plenty of hot water, no bath tho. Kitchenette was adequately equipped but cooker was hard to use since there were no discernable markings on the control knobs. No washing up liquid supplied, so bring your own. Large 'Intermarche' at the roundabout just a couple of mins. walk away.
I was there in the last weed of September and breakfast was not available, seemed like they were winding down for winter.
For anyone wanting to walk in the Esterel region there is a frequent bus service from outside the hotel along the coast to the south as far as Le Trayas which I found very useful.
All in all very good value for money if you're on a budget. More affluent people might prefer somewhere with a sea view.

We made our reservation online...very nice pictures. We arrive late at night and it took us about 40 minutes to figure out how to enter and where to park. The place smells very bad, the beds were uncomfortable It was too late for us to find another place to stay, but would not recommend it to anyone.

The location of this hotel is good. It is near of railway station or beach. The reception is open from 8AM to 12AM and from 5PM to 8PM. I don't recommend to arrive between 12AM and 5PM. A neighbor grilled meat on the balcony and smoke went to our room. For a parking to pay 9 euros. For one night it is ok, but...

You get what you pay for..

After a transatlantic trip we arrive there on schedule on Sunday afternoon and there was no one in the reception. There is a phone to call where they hardly speak English and then we were told that some one will come at 4pm in the evening to help us with check in. The reception people are only for a few hours a day at their desk and those hours are usually the ones you need to be out at meetings in Cannes.
If you want a very cheap place to stay, this is the one... but service-wise, you get what you pay for..

As I arrived in my hotel, I was struck down by the smell of urine and popcorn, perhaps buttered. I open the door (to hell), into darkness, while my friend fumbled around for a light switch. As we entered the 'room' we were horrified to find a double bed, even though we had booked a twin. Since me and my friend are not homosexual or partial to sharing a bed no bigger then a postage stamp, particularly with a incredibly sweaty man, this proved problematic. The next problem was the lack of natural light and no air condition which was also in the described as standard on the site. upon exploration of the closet, we procured 2 felt blankets, which folded up, acted as an impromptu bed for the whole holiday, and a small de-humidifier , which only served to make our room smell as bad as the hallway.

Les installations sont vieilles, dans ma chambre. L'entrée et les couloirs de l'immeuble donne l'impression d'un bâtiment vétuste et délabré. L'interrupteur dans l'entrée de ma chambre ne fonctionnait pas.
Impossible de fermer avec le verrou la porte fenêtre donnant sur le balcon dr plus il n'y avait pas de volets et les rideaux sont des voilages donc impossible de dormir le matin sans lumière dans le studio, et présence de cafards dans le studio.

Je ne recommande pas du tout cet hotel. Nous avions réservé pour 3 nuits et nous sommes finalement partis après la première nuit. Notre porte fenetre ne fermait pas (des personnes pouvaient donc accéder à notre chambre du balcon et rentrer). Je l'ai signalé à l'accueil mais le monsieur m'a répondu que c'était comme cela dans toutes les chambres.
Nous n'avions pas de rideaux et les stores cassés, nous avons eu deux cafards, la cuvette des toilettes cassée.
Les draps en revanche avaient l'air propres.

Pire expérience de ma vie j’ai changer 3 fois de chambre car moisissure, fuite d’eau dans wc, que 2 rouleau de papier toilette pour la semaine, pas de brosse à WC, les photos ne sont pas conforme à la réalité des chambres, les chambres sont insalubre, la vaisselle est insalubre, les partie commune sont sale, et dégradé. Ma fenêtre de fermer même pas et le volet roulant était casser et remplacer par rideau qui me réveiller à 8 h tous les jours, Le personnels de l’accueil n’est en rien accueillant et souriant. (Moi non mais bcp de clients se sont plein de cafard), pire expérience et vacance de ma vie, jamais je reprendrai des vacances avec hôtel.com, il est important de vérifier la qualité des hôtels et services que vous proposez qui ne sont en aucun cas conforme, je suis très très dessus, seul avantage et la localisation pas loin de là mer, mais pire expérience. Je ne recommande pas.

C’est inadmissible de payer 180€ par nuit ce genre d’établissement infecte. Sous prétexte que nous sommes à Cannes et qu’il y a un salon.
L’état est déplorable, la chambre est sale. La télé pas de signal sauf sur la 6. Poil dur les toilettes. Manque manivelle pour volet. Évier de la salle de bain ne s’écoule pas bien. Plaque en piteuse état et sale. Enfin séjour catastrophique qui ne veut absolument le prix payé.

A éviter absolument. Hôtel de passage vétuste

La porte sécurisée de la résidence est hors service donc ouverte en permanence. Logement au deuxième étage, l’ascenseur est en panne depuis plusieurs mois. Les escaliers sont étroits et très sales. Les portes coupe-feu d’accès aux étages n’ont pas de poignée de porte mais un tendeur.
Les murs sont tagués.
Le logement est plus une chambre d’hôtel avec un frigo plutôt qu’un logement pourvu d’un coin cuisine. Le robinet de l’évier est désolidarisé et pends dans l’évier. La machine à café fuyait du bas par la prise. La réception l’a changée, cependant si le voyant s’allumait, la cafetière n’as jamais chauffé.
Les plaques de cuisson sont rouillées.
Côté balcon, les fermetures des vitrages ont été forcés et en guise de fermeture, un boulon doit être inséré dans un trou fait dans la baie vitrée.

Pour commencer, l’accueil était zéro je n’ai jamais vu sa à mon actif, l’ascenseur était dans un état lamentable sans parler des odeur, arrivé dans la chambre le lit sa aller mais après un passage au toilette j’ai remarqué que le verrou ne fonctionnait pas ce qui veut dire que douche et toilettes était littéralement accessible dans la chambre.

moyen dans l'ensemble ,le gardien est très sympa, mais attention dès que l'on monte dans les étages c est une autre vision ..... sale très sale ,, tout est très vieux et en prime la télévision ne fonctionne pas du tout .le gardien part a 19H .La literie est parfaite .

Pas d ascenseur il y a 5 étages pas de geste commercial - pas de poignée de porte dans les couloirs prises arrachées dans les chambres - table bancale / meuble abîmé . Manque total d entretien . Établissement qui se dégrade Dommage

D’ordinaire très accueillant et chaleureux
Aucune communication sur le faite que l’ascenseur ne fonctionne pas et dégradation parties communes les portes paliers sont maintenues ouvertes par des extincteurs au sol
Et des tag bref j’espère que ça va s’améliorer
Et aucun geste commercial de l’agent jean Charles malgré le manque flagrant des désagréments
C inadmissible de n’avoir aucune info lors de la réservation

La struttura e stata decisamente funzionale nel suo insieme.
Purtroppo l'ascensore era rotto le maniglie delle porte x salire le scale mancanti, l'estintore teneva aperta la porta d'accesso alle scale ...
Sicuramente se ristrutturato potrei tornarci , il residence è proprio vicino al mare al max un 500 MT dalla spiaggia.
In ogni caso la location e i letti veramente comodi.

Bonjour,

Je tenais à vous faire part de quelques observations concernant mon récent séjour à l'hôtel. Malheureusement, j'ai rencontré quelques problèmes qui ont terni mon expérience.

Tout d'abord, une odeur très désagréable régnait dans la chambre. De plus, l'ascenseur ne fonctionnait pas et les escaliers étaient sales, ce qui ne donnait pas une bonne impression en rentrant à l'hôtel.

Je tiens cependant à souligner que la communication avec le personnel de l'hôtel a été excellente(même si c'était par téléphone et par mail)

Je vous remercie de prendre en considération ces retours, dans l'espoir d'améliorer la qualité des services proposés.

Sufficient if you just want to sleep in. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. No iron. Please note that the reception desk is open only for a relatively short time. The reception is closed in the morning.

Un bon accueil de la part du monsieur de l’accueil par contre la propreté des parties communes à revoir pleins de tâches de peinture beaucoup de bruit que ce soit intérieur mais également extérieur pas de double vitrage .. une rue très passante!
un chien qui aboie dans une des chambres toute la soirée à chaque passage bref pour 40 euros pas cher mais alors quand même sa reste un prix !
