The apt was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed having heat since temps were around 7 c at night. Good area and grocery store near by. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We have just landed home after a fantastic week at Marina Turquesa. We stayed in a 3 bed villa with our 3 kids and my parents . The kids had a ball as we had our own pool which was exciting for them and couldnt keep them out of it. Perfect size for what we needed . The villa had more than enough space for us all with everything u could need In the kitchen . Steep walk back up from Burriana but still so close. Will definitely return to this complex again

Have stayed here for 10 years or more and always enjoyed it hence the repeat visits. Now very down at heel and needing refurbished. They were renovating the outdoor pool so perhaps this is the start of a programme of works.

Nice apartment in a lovely setting. Was a little longer walk to the beach and town centre than we would have liked (Approx 20 mins) but we knew this when we booked. Although the pool area was a little small the amenities were very good. Would have been nice to have a bar but there is a supermarket very close by, also vending machine on site where you can buy cold beers, soft drinks and snacks.

Villa had heaps of room, private pool was awesome, indoor pool and sauna too, the place has everything. Located close to a supermarket but a little away from the beach and bars. Nice walk through the town to get to both though!

we thought our stay here was okay,for 3 nights nice enough apartment. small pool which came in handy for february.they had a gym and to be honest was,nt very good.we requested a sunny balcony as it was february and wanted to make the most of the sun ,but we never got it,you could sit out at your front door but it was.nt private with people walking past and you felt as if you where in the way. but overall it was okay

Lovely late summer short break.

This is our second visit to Marina Turquesa within the last 5 years,this time was a short 4 night break & we were delighted that our request for the same apartment was fulfilled.Since our last stay there have not been very many changes at the accommodation.Although we very much enjoyed our stay once again,the apartment overall is in need of a bit of modernisation & would be much nicer with some new furniture & finishings.Staff were extremely friendly & helpful.The main reason we booked this accommodation again was for the location,which is relatively quiet but within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars & beaches & the fantastic weather.Not quite as good value as our last visit but would certainly return again.

Lovely well prosented apartments.

Really well presented apartments & gardens with lovely views of the mountains & white dwellings . Relaxing pool area with no usual sun bed reserve issues even in August The staff really polite & helpful nothing was too much trouble. Within walking distance of the beach & town centre. I would recommend to others. The only negative I would say remove the broken equipment in the gym if gives a bad impression when everything is so well kept. Well done all.

we were in Nerja for my son's wedding, we had a lovely stay, our only problem was the hill to the hotel, apart from that I would recommend the Marina Turquesa to my friends and family if ever staying in Nerja.

We've finally cracked the family holiday

We usually spend holidays staying with friends and family, but are now sold on the serviced apartment concept.
Our girls (ages 7 and 10) loved the spacious apartment, the balcony overlooking the pool and the mountain views.
By shopping at the very nearby Mercadona supermarket, we ate meals at \"home\" and prepared sandwiches to eat on day trips - thus making it a very economical trip.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the beach was a 15-minute walk.
We'd love to go back..for a full week.

Not really worth it

I only stayed here for one night, thou I did not use the pool or any other facilities, I found this hotel quiet disappointing. First, the bathroom and toilet is not clean, we found dead bugs on the floor or marks everywhere. The air con does not work really well, especially during the afternoon, we tried to ask for help, but the lady said it is normal. Luckily, we got some nice breeze and the temperature went down a bit during the night, so we just opened the window. The bed is ok, location is good to, you can just park outside the hotel, and you can find a large supermarket nearby.

I highly recommend Marina Turquesa. The apartment was very large and clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. There is a nice pool for when you want to enjoy the beautiful weather, but don't want to go to the beach.

Great find in nerja

This was a great find. We were able to do a load of laundry and hang our clothes which dryed by the time we left the next day. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Was nice to have a kitchen! Didn't use the pools so not too sure about that. Only complaint was the shower was basically a hand held nozzle. Very difficult for someone with long hair to shampoo and rinse.

Fantastic stay staff was heat and very helpful. Room was spotless. The only problem we had there was no spare pillows and me having one pillow means not much sleep but ah am on my holiday you don't won't to sleep to much. Will definitely go back and highly recommend. We didn't use any facilities as we where out most of the time.

On top of the hill

Stayed at Nerja in July 2015 for 10 days. Arrived at night and agreed to pick up the key from the other Hotel nearby, because there is nobody at Turquesa after mid night. Everything went fine, apart from a tiny detail - the beds were prepared only for 2 of us, not for 2 kids also travelling with us. When we mentioned this in the morning, the answer was a bit odd; \"Well - you are not truly our customers... you bought the stay through Hotels.com... How could we know...\". I only later learnt to understand that the staff in the Hotel was not truly up to their tasks overall. Although the hotel is tidy and rooms are comfortably equipped, many little details spoilt the overall image; The one small bottle of shampoo was ridiculous, toilet paper ended after first day, washing-up liquid was only for couple of cups etc - luckily the supermarket was nearby.

The location of the hotel is relatively remote. Walk to the beach is doable, but climbing up to the hill in the sunshine is pretty hard job. Also the city centre is within a walking distance, but you may want to take the taxi back.

The same company who runs the hotel, also rents cars. These are quite well priced, but I'd avoid at least the B-class cars (don't know the others). I got once an Indian made Tata, which felt even dangerous to drive.

So, Basically recommended with some reservations. Good place for a family who is prepared to walk long distances. Excellent supermarket nearby and a nice pool for everyone to use.

Third stay at Marina Turquesa

Not quite as happy as the two previous times, as the apartment did not have beds for 3 persons as advertised. We had to use the sofa bed which is awkward to have to setup everyday in a holiday. Also, there was no dishwasher which came as a surprise. However, the service quality and cleanliness is great. The walk back from the Burriana beach is a bit steep.

A Week in Nerja

A very nice complex of apartments in a kind of pentangle layout which provides every apartment a balcony over looking the pool area. Apartment 1 and 2 get the sun all afternoon so would be a good choice.
We had a two bedroom which was very good, clean and well equipped.

The complex boasts a gym and indoor pool and whilst they exist they are not extensive and the pool is very small and as both are situated below ground level are a bit dull.

Ideally located for supermarket and a reasonable stroll into town or the beach. Coming back is a bit more like hard work but the majority of people would manage both.

It is more expensive than most other options but you know the price when you book so I suppose it met out expectations.

Fabulous 3 bedroom villa

Had a fab holiday in a very well equipped 3 bedroom villa, with 3 balconies, 3 toilets. Very clean. Staff pleasant. Outdoor pool small but too cold to use. Location is a steep 15 minute walk both to the town and to beach which we liked but could be a problem in heat. Supermarket next door. Restaurants walking distance. Highly recommend a stay here and would definitely return.

A peaceful haven

Marina tuquasa is peaceful and relaxing. With only 20 apartments it never gets busy. Our apartment was clean, nice and the kitchen was very well equipped. Its a short walk to town and the beach but completely worth it for the peace and quiet. I would recommend it.

Good apartment - convenient location

I booked this hotel for a 1 night stay in Nerja - the primary purpose of this was to visit the Playa El Canuela beach and relax in Nerja for a day before heading to Marbella. First, the apartments are laid our very nicely in a resort style with terraces overlooking the pool side. IT was just off the main road but quiet as it is at the top of a residential hill - and down the hill is a beach about 1 mile away which has a good buzz with bars, shops and restaurants. The water in the outdoor pool was a bit cold and the kids used the indoor pool for a bit - it was acceptable. The apartment itself was very comfortable and bright. The receptionist gave us a map and suggested we go to central Nerja (5 minute drive) for dinner and walking around in the evening which was a great suggestion. The small lanes with shops and restaurants leading to Balcon de Europ were quite fun and we had a good meal. the whole area was quite relaxed. Of course if you are visiting Nerja to see the stalagmite caves, this hotel is superbly located with the caves a 10 minutes drive away. I would recommend the Marina Turquesa for a stay in Nerja

Lovely Stay

The apartments were in a quiet corner a short walk from Burriana beach but quite a hike back up hill with groceries and take out. The main parts of town including Balcon de Europa are about a 20 minutes walk away. The indoor swimming pool was empty at this time and very clean. Big enough for the three of us to have a lovely swim. Not really big enough for any more people. The outdoor pool is more of a paddling pool for children, very small and shallow.
The rooms were very spacious and clean, everything we could want. However, I do think that the hotel should provide coffee and tea so that we don't have to trek to the shops when we arrive. Having said that, I did find a coffee machine in the foyer later on that day. Tut!
Overall, though it was a lovely stay.

Excellent 3 bedroom villa, ideal for our family of teenage boys. Lovely roof terrace (a bit noisy because of air-con) great private pool. We had a fab time! Shared pool was very clean, and there were always sun beds available which is the first time ever. Very quiet which we wanted, although our younger son was a bit bored. Tennis courts and supermarket 5 minutes away, beach 10 minutes but quite a steep hill. We walked to Nerja centre every night and got taxied back (7 euros) which worked well for us.

We rented a three bedroom apartment for two nights. We had three couples so we wanted to be able to spend time hanging out in the living area/kitchen. We had a private patio w/small pool which was awesome. The apartment was very spacious, well equiped. comfortable and amazingly priced for the amentities! We walked a short distance to the market and bought groceries for an American breakfast which we were craving. Only spoke to one staff member who spoke great English and was helpful giving info for the market and the beaches.

The facility offers apartments, not rooms so the service is different. Overall, however, it was a very nice, quiet place to stay with a wonderful indoor courtyard complete with pool. There was also an indoor pool. It was a good place to just stop and relax. A short drive to the beach and wonderful places to sun and eat.

ok for a short stay

The apartment was fine for one night which is all we needed it for but all the apartments seem to overlook each other and the pool in the centre so it's not really private. Our terrace had people walking right past all the time. The bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy and the pillows were so flat I may as well have not had one. It was clean and the location was ok but I wouldn't stay for a week. Thin walls too!

Mixed clientele with lots of Europeans including Spanish.

Overall an excellent holiday and would recommend to anyone who wishes to have an alternative to the normal costa de sol holiday

Stayed in a 3 bed villa which was absolutely perfect for us and having our own private plunge pool was a real luxury. Nice location, not too far from the beach and some lovely restaurants. Staff were very friendly and really helpful, they did a great job at recommending places and making arrangements for us.

Marina Turquesa in Nerja-Tranquil place to stay

I noticed that a previous occupant had been smoking in the appartment. I pointed this out to the management and we were transferred to an alternative appt. Staff were friendly enough, but not effusive, Appt was clean and comfortable. two negatives: size of the outdoor and indoor swimming pools was pretty pathetic and a lot of the gym equipment was out of order. Above all, it was very tranquil and quiet at all times. In every respect, other than those outlined above, I would recommend Marina Turquesa exceptionally highly.

Great experience. Nice and big family apartment. Clean and tidy. Very quiet (we visited outside the peak season). Helpful employees in the reception. We had a very good stay for 6 nights.

A 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the town centre. Friendly town with a good bit of real Spain left (food, people, shops).

We were unlucky with the weather but comfortable in February in this well equipped apartment - once we worked out the heating. Everything is modern and the complex is in a quiet residential area, 15 mins walk up hill from the beach area. Both the pools were rather small - particularly the indoor one.

Vi var två familjer som hade två lägenheter.
Egen pool och fyra uteplatser per lägenhet.
Var där under lågsäsong så lugnt och skönt i komplexet.
Bra service.
Lite slitet i allmänna utrymmen såsom ”lekyta” med biljardbord etc.
Men lägenheterna var jättefina.
Smidigt nära stor och bra livsmedelsbutik.

작은 레지던스 호텔인데 작은 규모에 불구하고 실내외 수영장에 헬스장을 갖춰 가족들 장기휴가 보내기에는.매우 좋은 곳으로 보였음.. 우리처럼 1박여행자를 위한 곳은 아닌듯.. 네르하 시내와 해변이.걸어서가기에는.꽤 먼편이고 주변에 별장들이 썰렁하여 밤에 살짝 무섭다는 생각이.들었음. 청소시.락스를.너무 쓰는 느낌임. 방도크고 가격도 좋구 전반적으로는 만족함

4인 가족이 머물기엔 짱!

4명 가족이 쓰기에 충분한 공간입니다. 2층구조의 풀빌라라 그런지 조금 추운 느낌이 들긴했어요. 그래도 넓은 공간에 가성비 짱이었고 친절했으며 웰컴 와인까지 무료로 줘서 우리 가족은 모두 만족했는데 관광지와의 거리가 걷기엔 조금 멀어 (20분이상) 다소 아쉬웠어요

거실 하나에 침실방 하나였습니다. 화장실은 불을 꺼도 계속 무슨 소리가 나서 잠잘때 좀 시끄러운 편이었습니다. 그나마 침실방문을 닫아서 소리가 좀 줄었지만 그래도 나서 좀 방해는 되었습니다. 전반적으로 빌라 같은 느낌입니다.
