The room was fairly small (normal
In Paris) but had everything we needed - clean with a large hot shower, lovely big airy windows, little minibar, safe, kettle, tea, etc and a good sized bed. The location was in a quiet street walkable to St Paul metro, the Seine, shops, bars and restaurants of Le Marais. We received a warm welcome. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast which was simple but fresh and delicious. We were looked after very well by the breakfast lady with lovely fresh juice and hot/cold food. The coffee was from a machine which was adequate but not amazing but there were other drinks available too. It was presented a light & airy area, decorated in a pleasing and modern style.
The lift is small but gets you and your luggage upstairs! It was nice that the reception, breakfast and cleaning staff began to know us. They were all very friendly and helpful. The stair carpet probably needs some attention as it was well worn between floors 0&1 but I expect it is on the “to do” list as it is a big job. There was no issue for us but you need to be careful walking down the stairs and hold on to the rail. All in all we were very happy with the Hotel and would recommend it and return again. The value is good for Paris and helped to make a memorable trip where our outstanding impressions were the friendliness and respectfulness of people we encountered.

Overall a great stay because of the location. My room was facing the alleyway so it was a bit noisy in the morning. The room was also small but good for my needs as a solo traveler. Excellent breakfast. All staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Would stay again - nice hotel and good location. Only negative comment: In my 5th floor room I could hear people talking in next door room through the wall (old, thin walls I assume) - they kept on talking late and long (long after midnight) and were also talking loudly in the corridor outside my room for a bit. I guess you might get that in an older building, rather than a modern purpose built hotel.

The location is excellent and the staff very helpful. The reception and room was modern and clean.
There is some renovation taking place and it was inconvenient to manouever bags and ourselves around the painters and their ladders.

There is a square with restaurants less than 20 meters from the hotel entrance. Place des Vosges is 5 mins walk. The Metro is less than 8 mins: It is line 1 so takes you easily to the Louvre and Champs Elysés and connect to other lines for other points of interest.

It was cold during our stay so we needed heat in the room. There didn’t seem to be any heating controls. However there was a portable electric heater (which we didn’t use due to personal caution with these devices).

Breakfast is enjoyable with sufficient choice. Good coffee.

Hotel is in a perfect spot for shopping and dining. Very walkable to the Notre Dame and the Louvre. Overall very quiet from street noise. However the hotel room doors slam loudly and can be sometimes startling. All in all, very quaint little boutique hotel with friendly staff. This area is also not all too touristy and more a low key area which I believe mostly locals. I would definitely stay in this area again (4th).

I have stayed here many times, however my only issue with the hotel is no AC and lack of water. Fridge in the room never works, the kettles are old, etc. Otherwise it gets the job done. No major issues.

Booked this hotel at the last minute and what a great find; it’s cosy, clean and safe in a great location. Would definitely stay here again. The rooms are small but very clean and a very comfy bed - worth noting, no aircon. Check in/ out very easy and decent check out time of 11.30am. Staff super friendly and helpful.

The staff and employees were absolutely delightful and helpful. The hotel is located in an 18th century building which has no air conditioning. Last week in Paris we had a few days of high 80s and one of 91with 50% humidity. The one fan in our room was essentially useless. October might be a better choice for staying here. Would also suggest that dairy foods served for breakfast buffet (cheeses and milk) be kept cold. I’d opted out of cereal and milk after discovering a carafe of warm milk standing on the counter.

The staff was lovely and location was fantastic. Our room was on the 5th floor so heat rised and made it uncomfortable. I do feel our headboard which was white had a lot of stains on it which was not appealing. Shower drain did not drain . Do not book Summer as there is no air conditioning . Elevator broke as well and stairs are not super even. Overall the staff and location was great but facilities left things to be desired.

This hotel was a classic European hotel...well located and small rooms. When traveling Europe there are small tradeoffs and I've always seen this at one. Aisde from that, the property was nice and clean. They were working on improvements while we were there but didn't disrupt our stay. There's free coffee and bottle of water per day. Front staff is awesome, very attentive and helpful. I'd stay here again if I was in Paris agajnm

Room 55 was too warm and this was during a cooler period of June. The provided fan and opening the window onto the internal air shaft did little to reduce the temperature. The room was quiet though as no external noise came through and very little noise from other guests.

Hotel location is excellent, close to lots of free museums, great restaurants and bars and only a 20 min walk to Notre Dame. Property is tucked away in a quiet street, so road noise is minimal. Their standard rooms are very small and there is no air con. We managed to change room for 3 nts of our stay which was much better. Breakfast in the hotel €12 was very good. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again but would need to pay for a larger room to make it a comfortable stay.

Fantastic location in a really fun part of the city! The staff was wonderfully responsive and always eager to help. On our way to the airport when our Uber driver was dicking us around because she obviously didn't want the ride the man at the desk gave us waters and called us a cab. The breakfast was reasonably priced and there was all the espresso you can drink. Only thing is it is a small room and you can hear everything and I mean everything going on in the bathroom. My partner and I have been together for over a decade though so not much of an issue for us but might be for young honey mooners or something. Other than that we had a great time and would stay there again

The hotel is located very close to some bistros, a very good Italian restaurant and the metro as well as shopping. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate you. They are also family friendly as we were traveling with our 9 month old. Will definitely stay here again!

We had two rooms. Both were of adequate size, including the bathroom. The breakfast was very good and the woman attending to managed the room beautifully. The front desk staff were all extremely capable and helpful. Many good quality restaurants were close by. The cost of our stay was quite reasonable.

Good location. Exterior is attractive. Most staff, except on checkin were great and went out of their way to be helpful. The bed and water pressure were both good.
The not so good: the description of the room with a courtyard view was false. The view was a dirty dark opening full of pipes. No AC and we would not open the window. Additionally, the room was tired and extraordinarily small. Not a nice welcome to Paris for our first visit. The desk clerk was not helpful so I contacted Expedia. Suddenly we were moved the next morning to a slightl larger room but with a proper window and view. The hotel blamed Expedia for the inaccurate description and Expedia did refund us one night. The hotel is “tired” inside generally but in a great area.

I paid extra taxes and fees with Expedia when made reservation online. When I checked out I was asked for more taxes and fees which came to 79 Eros I paid it. I should have questioned that. Then the next morning the Concierge asked for more ‘City Fees and taxes of another 29 Euros. No time to argue car waiting for me to go to airport. I refused to pay it and left. Check those fees I think I was charged 2x for the same thing.

We liked that the room had a kettle, some tea bags, a hairdryer, a safe, a comfortable bed and was warm. Unfortunately, our room had no view, but was probably quieter as a consequence. There were only four clothes hangers. A hand rail at the shower would benefit guests in entering and exiting a wet shower.

Perfect location in Le Marais, 6 excellent restaurants within 1o meters of the hotel and Saint Paul Metro station a couple of blocks away -- very convenient to everything in the center of Paris. Room was attractive and comfortable and unusually large for Paris. All front desk staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English.

Twice late in the evening, people were banging on the walls telling each other to be quiet. Room on the Expedia listing looked large and much more luxurious. Will never return. We love this hotel! Our room was unexpectedly bigger than we thought! Though the building itself is old, our room is up to date and got cleaned everyday! I’d be using this hotel again when we come back to Paris in the near future! Hotel staff are cordial and accommodating. Le Marais is a very interesting neighborhood and we loved all

We stayed in a superior double room for 4 nights. Our room was on the 4th floor, we found it to be spacious and clean. It was pretty quiet with some road noise in the morning, however this didn't bother us particularly as we tend to be up early. The hotel was in a good location with transport options close by and plenty of shops. All of the reception staff we met were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Thanks!

Lovely little hotel in a great spot in Le Marais. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was good, staff helpful and they provided some great restaurant recommendations. Only small issue was the coffee machine in the dining area wasn’t working on the second day, were unable to use the safe in our room and if staying in room number 2 on the ground floor, you can hear more noise from the common restroom right next door.

The location is awesome. Very convenient, safe, and very walkable. The hotel itself is old and sound carries big time. I could hear the people in the next rooms as if they were sharing my room. Sound privacy is nonexistent. Surprisingly, I didn’t hear anyone above me, not sure if the room was occupied or not?? But movement up and down the stairs was very loud.
The bathroom, including the shower is very small. If you are a larger person, this would not be comfortable. Using the toilet would be challenging and uncomfortable, there is about a foot of space between the front of the toilet and the wall. The shower is small and messy as water sprays out when using.
I didn’t opt for the breakfast, but it looked decent. The coffee on the main floor is complementary, so that was nice and convenient.
The staff were all very pleasant and enjoyable.
