Hotel Obsolete with Gotelé in the rooms as the last reform was on tbe 70 and this was as a Suit, ....The hotels level in Lourdes normaly is horrible. Room Small.

I was able to book this hotel cheaply- 3 days for a little over 160 euros. We were given a tight, small and I hate dark colored carpets. It is a very good excuse for dirty carpets although this one was not dirty, I think. The view from our window was an unoccupied building that was dilapidated. The reception desk (male) cannot really understand english and of course cannot communicate effectively in English. I requested for something one time and he cannot accomodate at all. Nothing. One cannot get anywhere with that receptionist. The lady was effective, very good. The male is totally useless.
I stayed in this hotel many years back and I was happy then, now I will never go back to that place. Also advised my friends to avoid this place. Looking for someplace else to stay for next visit.

I found Mercure Imperial through the ranking which did not disappoint. The hotel is centrally located and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Due to the low season, many places and restaurants were closed. Surprisingly the hotel's restaurant provided a nice option for a solid meal service. I felt safe too because the server made sure every customer showed the COVID green pass before entering the restaurant. Great job!

This was a terrible hotel-stay with the A/C not working and the bed small. The only good thing was it is close to the entrance for the grotto. We were told there was parking but when we got there there was none. You had to park down the street if you found an open spot.

The hotel is just a 10 minute leisurely walk to the Basilica and Grotto of Lourdes. The rooms are typically small as European rooms are (and the shower stall, too), but comfy. The breakfast a typical and tasty one of French morning cuisine, quite enjoyable. Everything very clean and neat. Staff great and helpful. Go to the top floor terrace for a great view of the town and (in March), snow covered Pyrenees. From the airport I took a taxi, it was about 25 euros (you can pay by credit card). A beautiful river flows right in front of this property.

Went to Lourdes midweek off-season. Hotel was very pleasant and like
the town very quiet. Bar was minimal, but kitchen was excellent--French cuisine worth all the hoo-ha. Easy walking distance to the religious sites. If you walk away from the river (that is, behind the hotel) you'll find some neighborhood bars and cafes that feature wonderful multilingual atmospheres. If I ever come back this way again will definitely stay at the Mercure.

Location was perfect! Great view of the river and walked everywhere! Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The only odd thing about our room was that there was no shower curtain, so every time I showered the bathroom got soaked. I thought about asking about this, but there wasn't even a shower rod, so it wasn't like it was just an oversight. Parking is available, but limited-I thought it was included but it's 15 euros a day. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would recommend.

Great hotel & Fantastic location!

Fantastic hotel within easy walking distance of the grotto and other attractions. Our room featured a beautiful view over the river and the room itself was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic and there are other food options nearby. The hotel is smoke free but there are ashtrays on the balconies so initially we did have some residual cigarette smell in the room. However, the staff did a thorough clean and there was no further smell. Would highly recommend that they remove all ashtrays from the hotel. Common areas were spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was great to have a place that was so near the Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes, as that was the point of our visiting Lourdes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in getting our taxi back to the train station at checkout as well as throughout our stay.

Great location, great restaurant, front desk staff were less than helpful and never looked up to answer, always were busy shuffling papers (3 different times). The room wasn't ready at 2pm, when check-in starts at noon. The bathroom was covered in hair- looks like they quickly wiped the bathtub, walls and floors with same towel but it left all the hair behind. It was very off-putting so I ended up covering the bathroom floor with bath towels. There was also a very strong urine smell.
The location was great, view of the river from the room and the restaurant. The restaurant staff was wonderful, with their suggestions and cheeriness. Food tasted great too.
I would stay again, however would inspect the room before accepting it. It seems that the other hotels are much older and would probably not be in better condition than this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel, clean, comfortable, nice view of the Pirineo Mountains. Very close to all the action.
We rented a car at Tarbes airport and was easy to get to the hotel which has parking for 15 euros per day.
We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel which was excellent, they offer very good wine (Bordeaux).
Only 5 to 10 minutes walking to the Grotto (depends on your speed). Ladies would take 20 to 30 min because of the shopping!!!!

The service was very friendly and the public rooms made you want to stay longer, being comfortable, spacious and welcoming. Ideally positioned for visiting the Grotto which is about 300 metres away.

Very clean, comfortable, excellent location

This hotel is located in the center of Lourdes, just a few blocks away from the Cathedral. This is an old building which has been very well maintained. The lobby, the restaurant and the common areas are very clean.
The room itself is relatively small but this is within the European standards, the bathroom, the bed were absolutely spotless. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and elegantly presented. Members of the staff are absolutely the most helpful and friendly people. I will have no hesitation to return to this hotel on my next trip to Lourdes.

They gave us a room different to our booking

I was not satisfied because in my booking ( I paid for two rooms) it was clear that the rooms overlook the mountains and river. Instead, they gave us two with views to he parking ( in the back) saying that they had received the reservation from Agence Expedia under those conditions.

We booked this last minute and the price had gone up quite a bit from when i'd looked at it only 2 or 3 days earlier which was a pain. It was much further away from the train station than what we thought, or at least it seemed that way as it was quite hilly and took us about 20 minutes on foot. It was a good location for the grotts etc tho. The room was nothing special. This is definately not a 4 star hotel. We had left the do not disturb sign on the door when we went out for the day as we had all of our belongings spread out everywhere in order to re pack our back packs for the next leg of our trip, only to find they had had entered our room anyway and made the bed, moving all our things. Not happy.

Don't even think about staying here

This is a seedy hotel with poor service. They obviously cater to tour tour groups. THe rooms are small and not vry nice. We signed up for a room with the breakfast option. No breakfast food was available because a large tour group had just gone through and eaten it all. A long wait produced no replenishment. When I requested a refund of the amount paid for breakfast, the manager said that it was our fault for signing up for breakfast, and simply shrugged when I explained that there was no food available. I would not recommend this hotel to m worst enemy.

It was very difficult to find the hotel with Google map since there is one way and Google map do not showed one way and I drive there three times to find the gate of Hotel.
Finally I called to hotel and found the parking spot near from the Hotel. It was 2 minute walk and move my luggauge for check in. Need to call them before arriving the Hotel.

Ottimo hotel per visitare Lourdes e soprattutto recarsi al santuario ( in meno di 10 min a piedi).
Fermata dell’autobus L5(la linea che porta al centro della città) proprio di fronte all’ingresso dell’hotel. Navetta per l’aeroporto a pochi metri di distanza e quindi servitissimo.
L’hotel mette a disposizione gratuitamente alcune carrozzine per i suoi clienti. Personale molto disponibile. Avrei dato 5 stelle se non fosse per il fatto che l’hotel non è nuovissimo e soprattutto la moquette è ovunque.. altro neo: la cena della mezza pensione (alla carta probabilmente è diverso..) ha un menù un po’ ripetitivo e comunque molto differente dalle nostre abitudini…( per la verità non è che fuori si mangi molto meglio…). Per il resto qualità prezzo ottimi!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel Mercure à Lourdes.
Le personnel est très avenant, sympathique et sérieux.
Les plats servis au restaurant étaient bons. Une mention particulière pour l'excellente literie qui, nous a t'on dit, venait d'être renouvellée.
Par contre le prix du parking de l'hôtel est exorbitant !

l'entrée de l'hôtel en jette, mais ça s'arrête là: les chambres sont vieillottes et pas du tout insonorisées.
le petit déjeuner est bien avec respect des conditions sanitaires, la personne en charge du petit déjeuner est parfaite, mais ça ne fait pas oublier l'inconfort de la nuit.

La réceptionniste est très sympa et gentille, j'ai été agréablement surprise qu'elle se souvienne de ma demande que j'ai faite par téléphone.
Seul regret, pendant la douche vers minuit, on s'est aperçues qu'il n'y avait plus de gel lavant, on n'ose pas appelé pour en réclamer. Du coup, on devait se contenter avec le fond de gel. Dommage, pourtant l'hôtel n'est pas bondé et les dames de service n'ont pas l'air débordé non plus.

Experiencia completamente nefasta. Nos quitaron la reserva de plaza de aparcamiento para dársela a otro cliente sin explicaciones.
El primer día al regresar al alojamiento las camas estaban sin hacer, las toallas sin cambiar y el baño sin limpiar.
Al pedir una explicación nos dijeron que durante toda nuestra estancia(4 días) no iban a limpiar debido al COVID-19. Esta información no se nos dió en ningún momento ni tampoco en el check-in. Tampoco había ningún cartel informativo al respecto en el hotel.

A souligner l'exceptionnelle gentillesse du personnel. Vraiment à se sentir chez soi. La cuisine est absolument délicieuse avec un rapport qualité prix étonnant. Les chambres sont correctes, sans recherche mais tout à fait valables. Nous sommes tous les 7 satisfaits de ce 4 étoiles

Je n'ai pas du tout apprécié le séjour. 1ère impression plutôt bonne. 2ème impression: déçue par la chambre, comprenait 3 lits une place (OK nous sommes ds une ville de pèlerinage, donc peut être que cette configuration se prête à Lourdes), il faisait très (trop) chaud au point de me réveiller la nuit, et ma chambre (et d'autres pour en avoir discuté) était trop chargée en parfum. Puis le pire est l'insonorisation. L’hôtel était fréquenté à cette période, Certains clients indélicats, restent tard le soir ou tôt le matin discuter sur le palier, on peut aisément suivre toute leur conversation.
Je n'aime pas donner des avis négatifs, pardon, mais je suis très déçue car Mercure me semblait être une valeur sûre, le rapport qualité prix n'y est pas du tout. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas très fonctionnel non plus (pb de machine à café), pas d'eau chaude à disposition...Un point positif, c'est l'accueil du personnel, gentil et dévoué. Sinon, l’hôtel est plutôt bien situé.

Hôtel en coeur de ville. Stationnement dans la rue assez aisé. Accueil agréable, chambre peu spacieuse. Nous avons dîné sur place. Plats Pas exceptionnels. Service dépourvu de sourires. Déçu de la qualité d un 4 etoiles
