We had a lovely time at the hotel, the pool was a godsend given the heatwave, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and we also made good use of the bar and pool service 😃.
The room was a good size however the aircon wasnt fantastic and the shower had quite a lot of mould and one of the window privacy curtains was missing which for the price paid was a surprise. This is why I have rated as good and not excellent overall.
That said, I would recommend the resort.

This property is spotless, the staff are friendly and the food just gorgeous. The place is well thought out. A small car park, followed by the hot tub and pool, with sunbeds. There is also a sun terrace upstairs that is really nice but noone really used it apart from a couple of people. We never used the spa but you can book in to have a massage. The location is less than 5 mins to the lake and the town centre is about 10-15 min walk. Station is a good 25-30 mins walk but the tickets are easy to get and you can go to Verona, Milan or Venice quite easily. Great location, great staff and hotel.

Decent hotel close to the Lake shore
Hotel Palazzo is comfortable modern hotel located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Desenzano. It takes 10 mins to walk down to the main area for the shops, bars & restaurants, and the ferry from where you can take boats to the various villages around the Lake. It's set back about 100m from the lake shore, but you can see from the hotel bedrooms providing you get a lake view room. We were on the 2nd floor. The room itself is quite small, with minimal leg room around the bed. The en suite features a good shower. There are only a few parking spaces, which were always occupied during our stay, so I had to park on the streets around the hotel. The nearest electric car charging station is a 5 min walk away in an open public car park. The charger there is very slow, so allow enough time for charging when required. Reception was friendly and polite. My wife asked them to organise a little surprise for my birthday and the best they could offer was a bottle of prosecco in the room for 18 euros. They don't even give you free water in the room. The breakfast was decent, but the same menu every day. Overall it's a good hotel, but nothing outstanding. We didn't use the spa, as we booked the Thermae Spa in Sirmione, which was well worth the money. I wouldn't object to staying here again, but would look to staying closer to the town next time.

The check out on june 15th, was horrible and left a bitter taste to the experience. We woke up late, went to breakfast and when we noticed, it was 10 min to 11am, check out time. Before going to the room, we asked for 30 mkn, to which we were rudeky informed we could not take it, in a rude maner, after we insisted we needed a few minutes to pack up. The front desk lady said her instructions were those and we place her on a bad spot by asking for this extra time, she could not decide.
After trying to explaing to her we were hoing to take the time, and asked about the consequenced of the extra few minutes, we left the reception.
The end of story is that at 11h12 min we were down. There were no consequences, besides the rudeness, lack of preparation of this one \"professional\" that made we ruminate about it during the day.
Please get her trained on how to speak and handle customers, it was a shame.
We travel for work and stay on more that 30 hotels per year, this experience is not comon to us.

Amazing staff- our dog Rollo was treated like a rockstar! All of the staff made a fuss of him, he was given treats and even had his own omelette made for him for breakfast.
It wasn’t just the above and beyond service for Rollo, it was for us as well, we were checking out and leaving very early 5am, the reception staff had made us a packed breakfast and insisted on making us a cappuccino before we hit the road.
Nothing is too much trouble, the staff all take time to speak with you and dogs are welcomed as part of the family. I would stay here again and would recommend highly.

The front desk folks spoke English (fortunately for us)! We were allowed to check in early and were immediately given a great map of the area and ferry schedules so we could start adventuring on the lake.

The breakfast was delicious, the room was always well cleaned but on the last day we could only stay by the pool til 1pm because they said the hotel was very full and our flight left later so we decided to do something else instead of relax by the pool. All in all a good hotel.

The property was very nice. It was in a mixed residential/hotel area. Room had room for suitcase. The shower was large with a rainfall shower. The staff were very gracious and kind. They went beyond my expectations. Bar staff brought soft drinks and ice to my room. Plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas. Only drawback was the icy cold pool. The water at the lake was much warmer than the hotel pool. It cost 8.5 euros to rent lounge chair and umbrella at the beach. The beach and lake bottom are rocky. Wear your water shoes.

I had such a lovely stay here. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I love how quiet the area is, but very easy to walk into town and to the beach. The bed in my room was incredibly comfy, I had brilliant sleep every night. The spa facilities were lovely, and I had a fab massage. Highly recommend

The receptionist is the best ever! I feel the need to send her a little gift. She was so helpful and kind from start to finish and going above and beyond to help me during our stay. Helping me find rides, taxis in the rain, suggestions, book massage and spa, etc. I wish the room would have been a little cooler but that’s my only complaint. 100/10 recommend this hotel.

However, we had a room with a patio and view of the lake, which was great, but we felt the room itself was a bit basic, no tea or coffee facilities and just one easy accessible plug for chargers etc. and the bed cover was very snagged when we arrived. The soundproofing was also not great, with us being clearly able to hear conversations in the next room.
We still enjoyed our time there though.

Great stay, really nice hotel with great staff. We paid extra for the suite with the private pool and it was great for the view and the pool but it was disappointing that it also had a connecting door to another room that you could hear everything from. Highly recommend if you bring ear plugs.

Nice Hotel with Great Spa and Service
On arrival we were allowed in the room early and the receptionist was very friendly finding good information about the hotels and services. The room was clean and well layed out and very modernised. I was impressed by how quiet it was and the green suburban surrounding area. The breakfast was a good standard with lots to choose and waiting staff able to help with requests. The main benefit of this hotel is the spa available (with reservation) to guests which was included in the price and could be used multiple times over a stay. The reservation made it much more relaxing. Overall, a great stay with good location and easy links to around lake Garda.

This place don’t offer any peace and quite time at all. Very small open outside space next to road and car park in back. No privacy at all since car driving all the time. I found human poo in pool! Very disgusting to swim in pool with poooo! S*** ! Reported this and had very angry respond from staff on desk! She was not happy to hear it! I also try to use bedding in our room however there were lots of dead ant and bug on it! Disgusting dirty room. Service was pool overall, no respond to my phone calls most of time! This is small building in very confined area surround by outer building in busy road. We did not get room we paid on top floor! I guess due to our passport color! Good service go to special people! Very unhappy. I asked them to leave after seeing poo in pool ! No way they give you option to runaway from this hell! Please do not stay in this place if you after nice holiday, moody staff ! Rude! The hotel is nice and in good condition. It was well cleaned and they had a good and strict Covid policy. They offered parking for my car, free bike rental and they also served breakfast in the room. I would reccommend this to all travelling to Denzansino.

Hotel advertises sauna, steam room and outdoor pool and spa. While I don’t expect the pool to be heated, I did expect to use the other amenities however that didn’t happen. They charge 12Euros per person to use the steam room and sauna. You must reserve in advance and it is only for 2 hours!!! The hot tub was at 82 degrees when we arrived. After a spirited debate staff which was very friendly, they did agree to turn it up however it was never above 90° it was truly a disappointment for us as we planned on using that everyday.

We arrived after 7 in the evening. Check in was easy and the young lady was nice. She recommended a few places to eat in town and gave us a map. Parking was quite full. It we lucked out both times with the last available spots on each side. The room is comfortable. Simple but nice memory foam bed and pillows. The view from the second floor was also pretty in the morning looking at the lake and mountains. Breakfast was very nice with good service and everything you could want from a buffet style. The hotel is just a bit out of town in a residential area. Quiet and peaceful. There is a pool and jacuzzi which we never used. The walls of the hotel are very thin and so if you have noisy neighbors beware.

The Hotel is about 10mins walk from the town and very close to the lake and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a lake view. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the breakfast was superb, the pool always had plenty of space and loungers available – there is a terrace too but we didn’t use this – unfortunately it is in the shade for the afternoon. The whole hotel was always clean and well maintained. Our room was very nice with a large bathroom and very comfortable. The only thing we would have wanted was tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

A good functional hotel in a good location on the South of Lake Garda. Things to note, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, double bed is 2 singles pushed together, which can come apart in the night - watch out for the gap! However, the hotel staff are fabulous, friendly and helpful with a smile at all times.

Enjoyed one week in this comfortable hotel only 10 min walk from the centre. Friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfast each morning. We were also provided with bicycles free of charge. Our room had a nice balcony and we had the use of the terrace also. The only fault we had was that you could hear other guests coming and going to their rooms but we maybe light sleepers so we would suggest ear plugs. We would definitely stay here again.

On the first day the person on the reception was very good. But for the second and third day the people on the reception were not as friendly. The room was not cleaned properly and only the bedsheets were re-arranged, which was not very nice. Small towel which we put on the floor for washing was also there for the whole of our stay which speaks for itself.
Also were told 10% discount on drinks, which we never got.
So overall a mixed experience. Would research further in the future before booking.

Wrong time of year to go, rained 4 days out of 7 although it did not ruin our holiday too much. Travelled to Verona, Venice and Milan. Buses in Desenzano were a nightmare.
