Fantastic stay. Hotel was in a great location and within a few minutes walk from the leaning tower of Pisa. Clean and quaint, the hotel was perfect for what we required (a bed to lay our heads!) Lots of restaurants nearby and a small shop too. Would definitely stay again.

I love the location, is literally 2 blocks away from the whole Tower of Pisa complex. Our room on the 2nd floor had a huge balcony overlooking the Pisa Cathedral.
The staff was also really friendly and knowledgeable in Spanish and English.

Location, clean room, & breakfast with a view

Best attribute: location! 3-4 minute walk to Piazza di Miracoli with a bunch of shops and restaurants right outside the door. Friendly desk staff. Good breakfast selections with superb service by Getardo. Leaning Tower is visible from veranda while eating breakfast. Small room but clean and is all you need after a tiring day if walking around Pisa. Free wifi also. Door to hotel is locked at 2200 for security but guests can access the main door with electronic key. Hotel was about 12 euros from Pisa Centrale.

Friend and helpful staff. Ar check in they gave us a map of the tourist attractions in Pisa. For a very low price they hold your bags after check out. The location does not get any better!! The tour of Pisa was visible from our room and less than a 5 minute walk.
It was very clean and supplied with snacks and water to buy. I am looking forward to returning with my family.

Excellent location, good breakfast, super friendly staff. Hotel is located right by the tower of Pisa so is older and although maintained as much as possible by staff - there are flaws. Rooms are clean but beds are not comfortable. Would highly recommend for a one night stay though.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay

We stayed here for one night to see the leaning tower of Pisa. The location is ideal, the leaning tower is only 50 metres away. The manager of this small hotel was always very helpful and speaks perfect English. There are a lot of small restaurants in the same street catering for all tastes.

Not a luxury option but if you want a good, clean 3 star hotel close to points of interest with plenty of restaurants and cafes around it then this is definitely a must, i would definitely return.

Very good location, can't be faulted. But the hotel was dingy, small, cramped and dirty. The floors hasn't been mopped and the shower went scalding to freezing over and over. It was a tiny room for three people. View was nice enough but room was overly hot, though the fan did work it didn't work very well. Bed rock hard, coverlet dirty, though sheets were fresh. Like staying in a hostel.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise, as a single female traveler I found this hotel to be very suitable. It was close to the Tower, also right out the door was cafes & market, so going out for dinner was very easy and close by so didn't feel unsafe. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast buffet or cooked breakfast was also a pleasure. If driving you can not park on the street, staff will advise be place with permit.

We had just one night in Pisa so it was great to be so central. Not far from the station and from the Tower but also from some quieter and more authentic streets with good restaurants. The staff were friendly. We could hear the street noise in the evening with the window open but not a problem when we closed it and overnight.

Location and good staff.

You are two minutes from the leaning tower by foot. Parking is a bit of a challenge but the front desk staff explained the rules and got my car registered. The hotels itself is on a pedestrian street - all tourists. Good for dinner and reasonably priced water and souveniers. Driving in Italian cities is generally a challenge for the uninitiated. Pisa is easier than most. The hotel staff though were great. Solid communication and good explanations. The location was fantastic. The hotel itself is a bit aged but was clean and comfortable. If I went to Pisa again I would stay here again. I would just arrive during daylight to better deal with parking.

Comfortable and very close to Pisa Tower complex

This is quite a small hotel, as most hotels in Pisa are. But we were quite happy with Hotel Francesco. Our room had a King-bed and a 2 tier bunker bed for the kids. There are elevators within the hotel, so taking up heavy luggage isn't a problem. The hotel provided us with free Wifi (which was of very decent speed) and has services to keep your luggage for a few hours after check-out (which is at 11 am).

Though this is not a luxury hotel, this is extremely comfortable, a decent breakfast and very close to the Pisa complex, which is within 10 minute stroll at the most. Owing to this we had a chance to visit the tower from outside in the evening and walk up the tower in the morning. From the breakfast dining area within the hotel, one can see Pisa Tower from the terrace area.

There are plenty of dining options in the street outside the hotel and this is within 10 minutes by cab to the Pisa Centrale Train Station.

Right where you need to be

Hotel is a period authentic Italian residence, we absolutely loved the building. The hotel staff were very accommodating with an extremely late check in due to a delayed flight. Couldn't fault the staff or the hotel and location was 30 yards from Duomo. The view as you exited the hotel main entrance and turned right was utterly mind blowing and would we return to this hotel..... absolutely yes.

We were given a tiny quad room with a fairly uncomfortable Queen bed and an IKEA bunkbed that made a metallic creaking noise all night every time the kid shifted on it. On top of that the room had a window on the street and there were people yelling and talking loudly all night and into the early morning hours. Towels are thin dish cloths!

The people were not very accommodating. Very close to the Leaning Tower, but one should see the Tower and keep on driving. This room was tiny, expensive for what you get, everything seemed very cheap. Mold inside the top of the coffee pot. The dining room was pleasant and a decent breakfast. Cannot open the shutters to see out so a little dark. Stand sink so no place to put makeup, etc. No suitcase rack. Smells very strong, like disinfectant. Shampoo but no conditioner and shower was not so great looking.

Had a 3 night stay at this Nice hotel friendly stall could do with a bit of updating we had a room with shower room designed for a disabled person was a little bit tired shower was poor but useable not much hot water.
But everywhere was clean maid service every day . Room had TV no English channels but didn't worry us also had mini bar again we didn't use but could be helpful to some people

One night in Pisa to see the tower before onward journey to Florence.

Staff very helpful, spoke good English which was useful as our Italian comes straight out of the phrase book.

Superb location 5 minutes from the Campo Dei Miracoli, you can even see the tower from the breakfast patio.

Air con a bit noisy, but not bad enough to keep you awake if you have had a few beers.

Free breakfast basic continental buffet which sets you up nicely for the day.

Upon arrival the room was very cold, so it was a bit of a chilly welcome (december). However, the ac warmed the room up pretty fast. We booked one room for two people and wanted a double bed but instead got two single beds joined together, which I dislike when the booking is made for a double bed room. Otherwise the room was very clean, and the receptionist very welcoming and friendly. The bathroom needs some refurbishing work. The flushing was particularly noisy and the whole bathrooms needs a refurbishment however it was as generally expected of three star hotels. The location was very convinient because of its proximity to the tower and many restaurants.

Good Location

A small hotel in the historic part of Pisa, just a few hundred yards from the Duomo. You can see the leaning tower from the breakfast terrace. In walking distance of the things north of the Arno, but for Central Station you may wish to take a taxi or the local bus from close to the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
The facilities in the room were unreliable (eg safe did not work, no hot water, etc.), but problems were quickly fixed by the staff.
Surprisingly quiet room considering the busy location.

Really close to the leaning tower. Front door electronic lock, as with room door & lockable from inside too. Felt safe. Our room was 1st floor facing the street which was noisy especially on the weekend until 2am. No safe in this room despite having instructions in how to use it. Quiet working air con, flat tv with good picture with the odd English programme/film. The towels where a thin waffle material more like dish cloth material. Kettle in the room so we took pots of porridge for breakfast, despite the hotel providing for €4 per person, which can be ate on the rear patio where you can view the tower in the distance. Some nice restaurants near buy and a great patisserie/cafe at the end of the street on the corner if you turn right when you exit the hotel. I arranged airport transfers with the hotel prior to my arrival and it cost €30 return for the 2 of us. Cheaper than all the transfer sites online. Cheaper getting a taxi as not far away. We walked to & from the train station and spent the day at lucca the walled city and on another day went to Florence. The trains are cheap, but a lot of undesirables hang around that area so I'd suggest getting back before it gets dark & beware of pick pockets. We had a lovely trip to Pisa

The staff at Hotel Francesco were amazing! We arrived at the hotel at 10pm and the lovely lady gave us lots of information about Pisa and was just so friendly. It is about 100m to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Rooms are just like what you see in the picture. Would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived at the hotel, it was locked, with no one at reception, so we had to wait outside, later we learned they are hardly ever there, not past 7 in the evening or at noon. Our room would not lock when using the card, so they gave us a key, which could not lock the door when we were inside, so we spend the night with the door unlocked, when we told them, they didn't care. Finally there was NO hot water in the shower. So although the location is good, Don't!

We didn't have the best of starts, when we arrived (about an hour before check in time in fairness, but nevertheless just before midday) to find the hotel locked and noone at reception. Phoning the number on the door, we were told to come back in an hour when someone would be there. On doing so, thereafter we found the staff helpful and friendly. The room was clean and ours had a rear first floor outside area (shared with the next door room) which was nice to enjoy a bottle of wine on. The shower room was a wet room type that was Ok but the shower was not the best. We'd be happy to stay here again if going to Pisa again.

The hotel does not even deserve a star, leave alone 3 stars.....in the middle of such a hot summer, there was no running water in the bathroom, you had to innovate to have a shower. A localização é excelente em Pisa. Muito próximo da Torre, centro histórico e comércio/restaurantes. O quarto do primeiro andar é muito inferior ao do terceiro andar. Tivemos um problema no pé da cama, que é frágil e estava quebrado, mas o pessoal prontamente nos trocou de quarto na segunda noite. O quarto do primeiro andar não tem armário, não possui secador de cabelo, suporte para papel caindo, e aparecem pequenos insetos que andam pelo chão do banheiro. Não conseguimos identificar que inseto era, mas pareciam inofensivos. Não consegui identificar qual das opções de quarto corresponde a esse do primeiro andar, mas pelas fotos seria o quarto para solteiro, que não foi o que reservei. O quarto do terceiro andar é bem melhor, com armários e secador. No mais, o pessoal do é atencioso. Escolhemos um late check out para às 15:00 pagando meia diária.

Ett hotell m familjekänsla vid gågatan 150 m från Pisatornet. Fantastisk service o omhändertagande under våra 5 dagar. Hjälpte oss med att hitta rätt när vi besökte Florens o Lucca med tåg. Frukosten var en ok italiensk frukost, kostar 5 euro per person. Det är ljudligt från uteserveringarna på gågatan, men det var faktiskt inget problem. Åker gärna tillbaka.

Pris og kvalitet hænger ikke sammen.

Værelset var beskidt og nedslidt.
Badekabine var ikke rengjort og der var optrængende fugt i dørgerægt og toilet dør. Alt i alt et alt for dårligt værelse til en alt for høj pris.
