We’ve had a great stay at Bryn Derwen. The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating. We had a wonderful, freshly cooked breakfast and as a coeliac I was well catered for. The room was beautiful and spotless clean. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely stay, great hosts and good location.

Had a lovely stay in this fantastic b&b - hosts were very friendly, welcoming and offered advice on places to visit. Room was well furnished, very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, very tasty and well presented. It is a property with steep access and stairs to rooms, so would bear this in mind when booking. It is a few minutes walk into Conwy so we appreciated not having to find parking in town and enjoyed the short walk in. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Easy access to town. Directions from the host were helpful, but also well sign-posted and close-by. Local produce in the town was stunning.

We stayed here for just one night but would definitely return and have already recommended to family and friends. The host was so friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of local information and recommended places to eat and visit.
The room was very clean and comfortable but for us it was the additional little touches that made it even better. The location was great and as for the breakfast … it was one of if not the best we’ve ever had and we’ve stayed in lots of places. The choice, the service .. just everything were perfect.

The property had a large front yard with a gorgeous view toward the mountains. The location is excellent; just a few minutes from the Conwy Castle. There is a bus stop practicaly across the street if required but we walked as everything is close by. The room we stayed in was large and very clean. The bed super comfy. Breakfast was excellent. On top of that, the hosts were very friendly. We would highly recommend and would stay here again.

The location is just down the road from the castle. A perfect way to see the town and walk the water front. The Albion is the local pub (wet house) - show up just before 5pm and catch the wave of the locals. The George and Dragon and local pasties off the high street a plus. Wall the outer wall, and visit the castle. Lots to see. Parking is tight and up a hill in the back.

Very nice, would stay again

Andrew and Jill are most welcoming and the guest house is spotless. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside/ mountainside from the dining room, plus the town walls.
Situated within very easy reach from the A55 Conwy is a beautiful and interesting base and the guest house has ample parking, albeit that the actual car park is up a pretty steep slope being the property. The building itself is also on a steep slope to access on foot, which is made known and the views are afforded because of this. Some of the rooms are on the second floor up several flights of stairs so you need to be physically fit to stay there, again this is documented in its description.
My bedroom was extremely comfortable and had everything you would need, the only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars was because although it did have a garden view as advertised it overlooked gardens belonging to properties behind it, and also the houses themselves - there were no blinds on the windows just curtains so it felt quite intrusive if you had the curtains open and in general you needed to keep them closed for privacy meaning you didn't have a view or daylight; obviously you are not in it much but it was a particular shame first thing in a morning when it was sunny.
Conwy town centre and access to the walls, are only 5 minutes walk and lots of places to visit such as Bodnant Gardens and the Llandudno area eg Great Orme, Little Orme, and Snowdonia are within short distance

Nice location & the host was friendly. Breakfast from 08.15 but did do a 08.00 for me. Parking for a motorbike could be a challenge up the steep narrow drive to the back of the house. Good breakfast & comfortable room.

Very clean tidy, comfortable bed lots of storage for clothes etc. Breakfast was from a packed selection on offer especially I liked the Full Welsh, en-suite was very clean and the shower was always full of hot water . Conwy is small and compact plenty of places to eat and drink on a sunny day it is very picturesque . Where the guest house is situated is on a very steep embankment which should be noted by yourselves as it would be difficult to enter by elderly visitors but overall excellent….. Nigel

Accomodation- food - the owners greeted us and said bye. Introduced us to the village - where to eat / what to see including Hadrians Wall and much more.

The only downside is the property is on a steep hill with steps up to the front door or down from the parking area which may be a concern for anyone infirm. We however would go back there and had many a laugh about feeling fitter by the time we left !!

Lovely house and very friendly welcome from owner. Our ‘compact’ room was perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the feature of offering fresh milk to help yourself to from mini fridge on the landing. I detest the uht pots you get everywhere (although they were available in the room too). Really fantastic breakfast. Easy walk into Conwy and plenty of parking. Hope to be back sometime.

A lovely guest house in a great location, only a 10 minute walk into Conwy, although a steep walk up to the guest house itself. A good central area to explore North Wales. We were pleased with our room, it was clean and very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable breakfast with lots of choice. Would definitely stay here again.

A delightful guest house with lovely owners. We were welcomed to check in, even though we were early, and given advice on how to get to the town and where to go. It was an easy 5-10 minute walk down to the town. The room was immaculate and very comfortable with everything we could want, including fresh milk in a fridge on the landing for tea and coffee. The breakfast was brilliant with a great range of options and staff who couldn't do enough for you. We had a lovely stay and I wish we could have stayed longer to appreciate all the area had to offer.

It was a lovely little house to stay in. Breakfast was especially yummy! I just wish we weren't so sunburnt because that kind of ruins my memories of the place. But it was a really clean and spacious. The shower hadn't been unblocked in a little while so water was rather slow to drain out of it.

This was a very lovely guest house with lovely hosts. The place was immaculate, the room, double overlooking garden was very tastefully decorated and had everything we could have needed. This is a fine family run guest house and the owners have thought of everything. The choice of breakfast was excellent with local quality produce, the best pork sausage I've tasted in a long time! Would stay here again.

Wonderful B&B in a great location close to the historic walled city of Conwy. It was our home base for nearby National Trust properties and Angelsey, our ancestral home. The hosts were extremely gracious and the food was very good. The B&B is nicely renovated and our room faced away from the road so was quiet. The breakfast room has a nice view of the area. I highly recommend this B&B.

Wonderful home, amazing breakfast. Andrew was an terrific help. The parking up the hill is steep, so if you're on a motorcycle or its raining , park below on the street. (ask Andrew why!...the Canadians) The Italian restaurant in the town is outstanding!
