A great stopover on our journey from the south to the north of Germany we arrived late and the hotel had kindly arranged for the kitchen to stay open longer. We had a nice and relaxing meal on the terrace. The staff was very kind and helpful and our room was lovely, clean and spacious. No complaints at all, would return any time and can recommend this hotel to other travellers. Location is amazing too, right in the centre.

We were in Zwickau for a wedding and the hotel more than served the purpose. Stayed over the weekend and the service was great the whole time.

Nice hotel. We stayed on two different occasions on our trip. The first room was really nice, with a carpet and nice red and green decor, with a view.. The second time we were upgraded to an Executive room, which we didn't think was quite as nice because there was no carpet on the floor, the color tone was gray, and the overly modern lighting didn't really suit us. Also, most important, the bed was way too hard! So, go for the regular rooms.

The best hotel in town?
Had a quiet clean room overlooking the courtyard. Bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows. The location of the hotel is great, within walking distance of many good restaurants and bars, however the food in the hotel is also excellent. Also loved the suggested running routes to burn off all the calories even if I didn't get chance to explore them for myself on this trip. Will know for next time!

Zwickau itself is a beautiful city which has preserved its medieval architecture and cobbled streets and as yet is mostly undiscovered by tourists.

Wir hatten ein DZ im 4. OG zur Straßenseite. Wegen einer Baustelle waren Metallplanken über Kabel gelegt, die bei jedem Fahrzeug klapperten. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nicht. Aber in 200m Entfernung ist eine Endstelle einer S-Bahn, die stdl.für mindestens 5 Min. bei laufendem Motor pausierte, auch nachts, so dass man gezwungenermaßen die Fenster schloss. Bei 34° nicht gerade toll. Es wären auch keine Fliegengitter am Fenster, so dass nicht an viel Schlaf zu denken war. Bei Abreise wurden wir befragt, ob es uns gefallen hätte. Wir erwähnten die Lautstärke u.wir erfuhren, dass wir dann eben ein Zimmer im Innenhof (teurer) hätten nehmen müssen. Wir erwähnten dazu nur, dass man dies aber auf der Webseite entspr. dokumentieren müsste, woraufhin es keine Antwort gab. Parkhaus unterm Hotel kostet für Gäste ab Sept. 18 €, finden wir auch übertrieben; haben noch 16 € bezahlt. Sicherlich kommen wir nicht mehr nach Zwickau; würden allerdings dieses Hotel nicht mehr wählen. Ansonsten war das Personal freundlich; insbesondere die fleißige Dame im Frühstückssaal.

heel fijn hotel en ontvangst receptie was goed. heb gegeten in restaurant hotel en ook dit was erg lekker en goed. 1 opmerking wel. Ik vond een plek om comfortable te zitten mocht daar niet zitten omdat ik alleen was en tafel was voor 4 personen. tijdens de tijd dat ik erzat is er niemand bijgekomen om te eten dus 90% was niet bezet, daarom de service iets minder maar puur door 1 persoon in de bediening.

wir hatten einen kleinen Familien-ausflug (3 Generationen) und das Hotel ist dafür ideal. Personal extrem freundlich, schöne moderne Zimmer mit reichlich Platz, gutes Frühstück.... und eben auch dort wieder sehr freundliches Personal. Lage ist Zwickau und Umgebung ebenfalls ideal.

Im \"Hotel-Bereich\" gibt es einen direkten Anschluss mittels Zimmerkarte zu den Hotelaufzügen, zahlt aber auch 14 € / Nacht. Fährt man über die reguläre Einfahrt hinein (Google Maps Code: PF8V+9Q Zwickau) hat man die Wahl auf Untergeschoss -1 zu parken für 12 € oder auf Untergeschoss -2 bis -4 für 8 € Nacht. Von Hier aus ist man binnen weniger Schritte im Foyer. Auf uns wirkte dies wie eine Masche für das selbe Parkhaus insbesondere für Hotelgäste höhere Preise abzurufen. Inwiefern dies nun vom Hotel ober Parkhausbetreiber gemacht ist, sei dahingestellt. Vielleicht spart diese Rezension aber andere Leuten Geld ;).

Der Service im angeschlossenem Restaurant ließ zu wünschen übrig. Wir waren abends die einzigen Gäste im Außenbereich, aber niemand interessierte sich dafür. Wir mussten sowohl die Bestellung, als auch die Bezahlung selbst anstoßen. Das Hotel an sich ist jedoch sehr schön. Der Service hier ist ebenfalls absolut in Ordnung und die Lage ist ausgezeichnet.

Einchecken - Katastrophe, 15min war keiner an der Rezeption, trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage im Restaurant suchten die Mitarbeiter die zuständige Kollegin, nach den 15min übernahm dann eine andere Servicekraft das Einchecken. Wir waren wohlgemerkt allein, es war kein Andrang etc. .
