Great checkin and overall service experience. Good location but car parking is either paid or hunt for free spot on the street. Only request would be to include water kettle for tea making in the room. Will be back again, when I stay in Estoril.

Really lovely stay at the Somewhere guest house. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, pool was nice, good location and nice enough breakfast. The bed and pillows weren’t as comfy however we were offered other pillows that were a bit better.

Bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms newly renovated. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff always on hand if needed. Would highly recommend.

Have stayed at this guest house 2 years in a row, after having such a good experience the first year. The property is very secure, including (paid) private parking. The the beds are comfy, the room has a mini fridge, a private balcony, and we love the roller shutters on the doors & windows to make it pitch black and reduce noise. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful with anything you need. The breakfast option is very nice, too and definitely worth it. We will likely stay here every year the annual event we attend is in the area.

My fiancé and I stayed at Somewhere Estoril Guesthouse for 2 nights. The hotel is off the main area a bit. The train is very convinent to take over to Cascáis- takes 4 mins. Buy a Viva Vitamen card in advance. The pool is not heated. The rooms were clean and as described. Reception was very helpful, we will be back to stay.

It was a lovely property with very friendly and helpful staff. It has an air of exclusivity about it that makes it a very lovely place to visit. Small issues in that the breakfast was a little limited and had some challenges in the room with a flashing bathroom light and light switches that were all electronic and a little temperamental. The air con control was partially broken so could only get it to switch on or off rather than set a temp. Generally though the room and the place was lovely and spotless and would definitely stay there again.

Good location only a 10 min walk (if that) to one of the nicer beaches. Breakfast was poor, extremely simple with funny tasting eggs and milk. Our room was a good size with a bigger balcony than expected. However the one pillow they provided was terrible and the room in general needs some updating. A broken sink, missing tap features and just tired decor, chipped frames etc. there also was no kettle in the room and the fridge had frozen over. The rooms have paper thin walls so if you are placed next to a snorer, expect to be up all night. Lastly, you don’t get a lie in. the crashing a plates begins around 5:30am followed by vacuuming from 9am. Which is strange considering you cannot check into a room before 3pm.

Rooms and fittings are modernly finished but sparse and flimsy. Thin walls, doors and creaky floors let much noise thru from busy roundabout in front, school behind and the rooms around.
Pool and deck look better in pictures and offer zero privacy.

Staff nice and situated in pleasant area. The cleaner worked hard- rooms cleaned daily. My area of discontent was really around a group of young men staying there who had no respect for other guests at 4am in the morning, shouting, singing and banging doors and argueing in the corridor. I was not the only guest who complained- but it still carried on until the young men left the property. They were in 2 rooms on the same floor as me. I booked the property as it said small and relaxed!!! My Mum who is 78 yrs old who I had taken away for a relaxing holiday did not need this. The staff at the hotel did speak to the young men but it proved in effectual and the behaviour carried on. This would stop me from re-booking. This is a shame as it is a nice property but did spoil the first 3 nights of the holiday.

We had 2 rooms both of which were spacious and had good storage. Bathrooms were in good condition and kept really clean.
The daily breakfast was amazing, and set us up for the day.
Even though it was October we got good afternoon sun in the pool deck and the water was ‘refreshing’ once you got in.
Location was good; in that it was quiet but 2 mins to 2 small supermarkets, 5 mins down to the train station and 6 mins to the beach.

Nice modern property for a lovely holiday. The pool is lovely and we had the place to ourselves most days. Very quiet and delicious breakfast each day with tasty fruit and lovely pastries. One bit that could be better: some hooks are needed in the bathroom to hang up towels, etc as otherwise you only have room to put everything in a heap on the bench.

This is the perfect guest hotel to spend several days in Estoril. It is near everything and the service is great. The air conditioning was wonderful as well. Also the pool is perfect.

I can't say enough good things about the Somewhere Estoril Guesthouse. All areas of the hotel are beautifully furnished, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The bed was one of the comfiest I've slept on and the breakfast was delicious. Best of all are the staff, they are so friendly and polite, and they made our stay a real pleasure.
The hotel itself is just a short walk from Estoril train station, and we were able to easily order an Uber for visiting other areas. There's also a lot of great bars and restaurants within walking distance, and getting to Cascais is a lovely walk along the seafront.

The property itself was in excellent modern condition. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was super helpful and responsive, and the location which was close to the beach and center of Estoril. The train station was within a 5 min walk.

The web site needs updating. It stated it had a restaurant but we were told there as been no restaurant for the last 3 years. one of the rooms we had didn't have a functioning safe. the batteries had being in so long they had leaked over the back of the safe. no key was provided. We did ask at the reception but no joy. Didn't have no where to put my valuables. The lady who supervised the breakfast was good, but when she was of duty. The service was not good. we had to ask for hot water , milk and coffee.

A great Estoril Secret - tucked away in the shadow of the fanciest hotels in the area but with the same access to beach, park, restaurants, casino (if you must). Large & modern rooms on a Lisbon scale, nice swimming pool, basic breakfast, great outdoor spaces and ‘living room’. Staff are perhaps worked too hard to always be cheerful BUT just a great little guesthouse.

Super Modernized!!! If you have the window open the AC will not work. In order to have any electricity work in the room, you need to put your key in a socket they have. Overall the cleanliness in the guest house was beautiful. The pool? AMAZING. About a 5 min driver from the middle of town. This place has been an absolute amazing stay!

This is a small elegant hotel serving an excellent breakfast and providing a really comfortable environment. The only downside is there are no instructions to the workings of the various sophisticated bedroom/ bathroom electronic appliances and that really takes some sorting for us older people which was very frustrating. Also the journey to the beach although quite short is hilly and confusing. A map would be a good idea

Somewhere definitely has a whole lot of Something ! Only has about 15 bedrooms but is emasculate and has a funky vibe. The pool is small but clean and just what the doctor ordered for a quiet relax. The staff were really friendly and eager to help and it has a small bar for that afternoon glass. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend. A visit to the small Italian restaurant around the corner that makes its own pasta is a must !

Stylish hotel close to the seafront
The hotel is stylish and well located. However a few things let it down. We are both light sleepers and were in a room on the first floor. Whenever we were in our room we could hear footsteps from the room above which was annoying and resulted in interrupted sleep when guests staying on the floor above returned to their room after a night out. They were not being noisy or inconsiderate, the structure of the building meant that any movement from above could be clearly and loudly heard in our room. There was also no hair conditioner supplied in the room and our robes were removed after our first night's stay and not replaced which was annoying and strange!

very nice guest house with lovely staff. but omitted to mention (even after I said I was going to the train station) that there was a rail strike. could have just called taxi from hotel instead of walking with luggage to station then around town to find wifi to summon taxi. this was important imformation that should have been shared. please alert your guests when this is on the news for days.

First time in this area and it was ideal, sort walk to a nice Beach the Guesthouse has nice room, great bathrooms, check in was quick. Small pool area is clean and tidy with good sun loungers. The included breakfast was good to start the day. It was offered to us when we left at 7am on the last day even though it doesn't officially start until 8am. Our room did not have a balcony but the main balcony area off the bar was always empty and could be used. Daily cleaning of the room with fresh towels,

If you want a more intimate and less hectic stay in Estoril then I recommend the tranquil and homely atmosphere of Somewhere guesthouse. Relaxed and stylish, but with great attention to detail - excellent bed and bathroom was fantastic - made the stay super comfortable. Staff were relaxed , friendly and helpful, reflecting the general ambiance.

Lovely little region. Very friendly people. Guesthouse is newly purpose built. Ideal base for exploring the region. There are many beautiful beaches closeby and Cascais is 15 minutes pleasant walk along the promenade. Also Sintra historic pretty village 15 minutes bus journey away. The staff and surroundings couldn’t have been better than somewhere Estoril. Estoril Casino is where Casino Royale was filmed is very impressive with good Chinese restaurant, 5 minutes walk.

Room is extremely small, and in my opinion never 5-star level.
Just a queen-size bed and 30 cm on left and right side.
Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink also really small. No possibility to hang the towel, place anything in the bath.
