This attractive hotel enjoys a spectacular location in the centre of the village of Cascais on the Estoril coast. The beautiful Cascais beach is only around 300 m from the hotel; numerous shops and entertainment venues are to found in the immediate vicinity.
There is a bus station and a train station roughly 300 m from the hotel, and Lisbon airport is approximately 25 km away. Opened in 2005, this well-located hotel comprises a total of 40 rooms, of which one is a junior suite and one is wheelchair-accessible, spread over 3 floors.
Guests are welcomed in the inviting lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift. Dining options include the cosy café, the bar or the breakfast room.
The hotel is ideal for business guests, since it has a conference room with Internet access. Bike hire and room service are also available.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean, spacious and recently given a cosmetic refresh. I.e. new carpeting, painted, new cabinetry. Bed is very comfortable. The bathroom could use a bit of an update, particularly the plumbing. Shower water pressure is a bit weak, and tends to jump from cold to hot easily. Breakfast is sufficient, it has enough variety that can be expected for a small hotel. Well located centrally, close to many restaurants, walking distance from train station and to Ribeira beach and walking promenade. Noise from nearby night club is a bit bothersome, it operates from 11 pm to 6 am, so street noise is to be expected. I’ve stayed here several times and would stay again.

The Cascais Hotel is pretty close to centre of town but not bang on so convenient but not super busy. Wasn't real easy to find as the signage is pretty subtle. General condition of the foyer and connecting areas is good Room clean and tidy. Front desk Staffed 24 hours and they were always helpful. Included breakfast basic but acceptable. Downsides - room looked well worn particularly the woodwork, Door badly scraping the floor and wooden floor looked very worn out. Shower just about ok but poor flow and temperature control. No drink facilities in the room - not even an empty glass let alone a kettle. A bit noisy at night if your room faces the street. Felt well run but with no money left over for maintenance.

I only had one night in Cascais, so I picked this hotel since it looked central to the town. This location turned out to be perfect - right in the center of the town and only a few minutes walk from the beach. The breakfast was really good. I enjoyed a collection of fresh fruit, pastel de natas, and eggs. I arrived before check in, and was able to use their bathroom to change. The front desk was very friendly and watched my bags before check in and after check out. I would definitely stay here again.

The location and service were great. The room is very basic, lacking a lot of the amenities you usually see in hotels (e.g., fridge, alarm clock, safe, coat hanger on all, cups and water). Worn building but kept clean. Unfortunately the sound proofing is non existent. If there are noisy neighbours or sound outside, you'll hear all of it.

Have stayed in many hotels in my life both on vacation and on business. FOR THE PRICE, I have never come across such a shocking place !! The most basic room that was rundown and old. A basic small room with a bed, two bedside tables with lights and the worst bathroom. Then noise on another level until about 5 AM each morning and I dont mind noise, am 34 !! It was just awful. Still cannot believe I had to pay 180 euros per night for such rubbish. Booked on Hotels.com and could not get any money back even though I wanted to move out after the first night.

Hotel was average. Too expensive for what it has to offer. Rooms were simple, bathroom was super small and not practical. If you plan on staying in Cascais maybe throw in a couple bucks more and get yourself a sea view and more amenities. Staff was nice around the hotel.

Staff is friendly and helpful, location is great, cleanliness is good but I had to remind them twice to clean my room and ask for clean towels. Breakfast was sufficient, all in all, I enjoyed my stay here. My only real complaint would be that there is a lot of street noise all night. There is a dance club nearby, you hear the music pounding faintly until 4 am. Noisy people walking late at night and the hotel is right across from a garbage drop off where people come to throw their garbage away at all hours, restaurants dropping off their empty wine bottles is very noisy and the garbage trucks come to pick up at wee hours of the morning. Lots of different noises non stop. And a dog across the street that never stops barking in the daytime! But I did like the hotel enough that I’d stay again, with earplugs!

This hotel was not easy to find with roadworks, closed roads with restaurant terraces and very narrow roads, where our vehicle could not go through. It has a very good location and expensive parking facilities in the building worth every centime. At walking distance, you can get to many tourist attractions, the beach front, town museum, market (twice a week) and Marina. Here there are many eateries and shops. Our room, facing the side road, was clean, comfortable, and pretty quiet, except for some music one night, but not too loud. The staff is friendly and helpful, mostly very young. The included buffet breakfast offered includes fresh fruits and eggs which is a good way to start the day. Surprisingly it is served until 11:00 hrs. We recommend this hotel for the location, staff and rate.

Great little hotel near all the action that was able to accommodate my family of 4. We were able to walk right to the main, touristy area of town and the beach. There are lots of good restaurants and little shops nearby. The staff was very helpful and there is parking inside a small parking garage, for an additional fee. We were only supposed to stay for one night, but my family loved it so much there, we extended to four.

Parking was a disaster. They told us to park in the hotel but failed to say we had to back up our car down the steep parking garage entrance that was extremely narrow. Scratched the side of the rental car. Do not take a vehicle if staying at this hotel. They said everyone scratches their car when staying there. Bad start to the vacation. They should consider putting up a sign or offering to park the car for you. At the very least, warn people at check in.

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff. The reception area is bright, clean and modern. The twin bed room although basic was clean and very comfortable. - TV with some English speaking programmes, ensuite bath/shower room, air conditioning and was serviced everyday.

The outside of the hotel really needs a makeover. It looks rundown with dusty dirty windows. However when you get inside it’s very nice. The staff are really helpful and efficient.

Nice modern low rise hotel. Great location, one block before the strip restaurants and another block to the ocean. You can walk to everywhere from here. There is a roof top deck with view. Clean rooms with laminate flooring. Air conditioned. My room was small but fit everything had closet and small desk with chair. Shower enclosure very small not good for large people. Some rooms have a bathtub/shower which you can ask for. Check in very easy and friendly and they were helpful about sights. The included breakfast that was free and came with room, was wonderful. Lots of food, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, breads. Coffee machine, juices, milk Another area for cereals, musllie, yougurts. Lots of fresh fruits, pineapple, papaya, melons. They kept refilling it. set up on tables looked appealing. Separately this would have cost about 15 Euros and is the best free breakfast I've had!!!

Cascais Hotel is a great option to stay right in the middle of town. In terms of value, I think it was the best option I found. The interior is basic, as other reviewers have noted, but there is nothing wrong with the rooms or the facilities. Breakfast is solid. Would recommend and would certainly stay there again.

When I booked the room it was discounted so I felt like it was good value, but if I'd paid a higher rate I might not have felt the rooms were nice enough to justify the cost.

The receptionist was extremely friendly, helpful and professional and combined with other staff made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was good and on site parking a bonus. A bit of outside noise but it is a holiday place and we were there on the weekend. When I stayed, there were Russians. As others have mentioned, I found the rooms to be very loud. I had a corner room not on the ground floor as I was hesitant regarding noise (room 109). The walls and floors are hard, and provide no sound damping. The air ducting carries sound from adjoining rooms. The interior doors do not cut out noise (and slam very loudly). The bar/club nearby was playing music loudly from ~10/11pm until ~5am. My room acted as a reverberation chamber, and bass frequencies could not be blocked by plug-style earbuds and music. The beds are hard, the pillows paltry, the sheets thin, and toiletries inadequate, the breakfast thin, the internet spotty and slow. This is a fine budget hotel if you plan to party on vacation and stay up late every night, but no place for anyone who gets up early, and especially inappropriate for business travel.

A Great Hotel at a Great Price
My friend and I had wished to stay in another hotel but that was fully booked. We were a bit wary of the Hotel Da vila but our wariness was unnecessary because this hotel was well located, friendly, comfortable and extremely clean. You can pay much more for something of similar quality but what would be the point of that? So yes, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone but the snooty and the deluded.

Best place to stay in Cascais
Cascais is a very small town, and da Vila is located right in its center, within a 2 min walk from the beach and 5 min walk from the railway station. Rooms are nicely decorated, air-conditioned, all towels are changed every day on default. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Perfect price-to-quality ratio (better book it beforehand!). Breakfast is a bit expensive, but there are a lot of cafes around where you can have your morning coffee. The only disadvantage is the lack of free wifi (there is a computer in the lobby, where you can use internet for a short time, but you have to pay about 7 euros a day to use wifi in rooms). But it won't spoil your stay in this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there!

The hotel is walking distance to all the sights in Cascais and is very central and at the same time, has a tucked away feel. This hotel is in a great location. Rooms are small but clean and minimally furnished. There is a great 'living room' with patio on the third floor which is a nice bonus. Limitations: Nearby club played loud music into early morning hours! Lighting in the room was not good for reading. Likewise, no chair - just a bed and small desk.
