Worse than Radisson.
The bathroom reeked of cigarettes; I had to ask for a room change. The window couldn't be opened, there was no option for fresh scrambled eggs with onions at breakfast, which is a regular menu for me when I travel, and the selection of fruit and fresh vegetables was poor. Overall, the standard was very average to mediocre, but I'd call it a 3-star hotel, maybe 3.5, but certainly not 4.

Hotel is center located. Our room was spacy with comfortable bed and a view to tha cathedral. Hotel offers a underground parking lot, which is narrow if you drive suv or similar car. Breakfast was ok and staff are polite as in other Novotel hotels

The Novotel in Szczecin was just what we have come to expect with the Novotel brand. The facility is well maintained and comfortable. Amenities are above average. The breakfast was very nice. We will definitely stay again.

During the check-in I asked for parking options. Reception proposed own parking. On the question: can I park outside the Feedback was: it is public parking but at weekends for free.
Three hours later I had a ticket as parking in front of the hotel is NOT allowed (stopping for checkin is possible). I asked three times for hotel manager - not available. Novotel staff always told me the same: parking at weekends possible. I cannot believe that people working in a hotel do not know parking rules in front of the hotel entrance. When trying to complain the feedback was: this is public parking and not their problem. If reception tells me that I can park there, I see responsibility with the hotel. A hotel should train their staff in a question which is raised by every guest with a car.

A very unpleasant experience.

The property itself was very nice. Pool, sauna, and jacuzzi well maintained and enjoyable. We had a street facing room and the traffic noise was fairly loud. That is my only complaint. I’m sure a room away from the street would be quieter.

There was very strong horrible smell in all three rooms we tried at the hotel. The smell seemed to come out of the air condition and smelled like pesticides or drug. Rooms where badly cleaned, spots missed on many places on carpet, leftover food in mini fridge, male underwear in top shelf in wardrobe etc. There was no sheet on bed matress only sheet on the matress cover. The room had no brochures and no do not disturb sign and house keeping entered whenever they pleased while we slept. Other staff was pleasant and manager professional when we complained about smell and asked for a new room. But they could not provide room without the smell. The swimming pool area is the only reason you should choose this hotel but if you are expecting a 4 star hotel experience this is not the place for you. Avoid second floor.

Nice, clean, pretty basic. The jacuzzi was closed, but the pool was nice. For some reason the complimentary water bottles were replaced completely at random - sometimes you got 1, sometimes 2, sometimes none at all. Excellent location, ok parking facility (10eur/night).

The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The tub is a bit high to get into, but the shower worked well, with hot water and plenty of water pressure. The bed was nice and firm and two different hardnesses of pillows were available. Still in decent condition, but in 1-2 years the rooms will need to be redone...

Would’ve been even better of a stay had the indoor pool been heated. Great staff, great room. We did not have to pay to park because we used a “city” parking space in front of the hotel. Please note that there are rules for the times permitted to use parking for free.

I stayed 2 nights at that hotel. I found stains on my pillow and bed, and even a black eyelash. Obviously nobody cleaned that room that day. I claimed another room. The bed was quiet clean there but the bin was full and it stank. Awful.
Then receptionist offered my a higher class room which was fine.
Bun unfortunately I shall never stay at that hotel again.

The hotel is quite great. I read reviews before where it said it was noisy so I was a bit concerned prior to check in, but I can now reassure you that it's nothing to worry about. It is a hotel located in the very city center so there are obviously noises of the city (street train, cars, people, etc) but nothing terrible as described in other reviews at all. If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, book a hotel outside of the city in the forrest ;)

Added plus for Starbucks within 2-3 min walk, as well as a mall with many restaurants (galeria kaskada) within 5-7 min walk.

Booked and paid full amount for 3 nights FRI-MON . Came on Saturday to found out that my room has been sold.

No sorry or anything like it is my problem that they double sold one room.

I was given room looking like "staff room" with 2 singles extra beds in it.

The indoor pool was however far too cold to enjoy and everything we ordered to eat from the evening menu in the bar was prefabricated and came from jars and bottles. Very low quality. No chef in sight.

Good hotel in a non-tourist spot!

The hotel was clean and the amenities were good. Beds were super comfortable! Parking was easy and breakfast was good standard. The area itself doesn't boast much tourist wise though, there is a great cocktail bar called 17 Schadow and a good Thai called Buddah.

Stopped here on a road trip through Poland. Good location, easy walk to the Old Town and River and next to a delicious Indian Restaurant. Room was pretty basic but clean and comfy. However, trying to call the "24 hour" reception to find out when breakfast started didn't work - we called three times and they never picked up the phone.

Enjoyable Stay in Szczecin

This hotel is a fantastic base from which to explore Szczecin and we had a great week here.
The Staff were efficient and helpful, the room was reasonable, if a little tired, and the pool and jacuzzi were a real bonus. The Pool was on the cooler side but meant you could usually swim on your own, and whilst at busier times we had to wait 10 - 20 minutes to get in the jacuzzi, it was all hassle free - the sauna was very pleasant too. I cant comment on the fitness room as I didn't use it but it looked reasonable equipped and never seemed to busy.
Breakfast was a comprehensive buffet of hot cold and preserved food and allowed us to try Polish food or stick to more familiar - which we varied each day - the fresh cooked omelettes were especially good. Not so into continental sausages so didn't really have a full English on offer - also no bacon, but the hams and cheeses were great. The hotel has a nice reception area and a very pleasant bar

Traveling on my own and with limited Polish, I could not have been happier! I felt secure at the Hotel, was helped very much by the staff and was able to travel all about this beautiful city with no problems whatsoever. Wonderful breakfast buffet and lounge area, very nice sauna.

Two night stay in the city. Parking is expensive but carpark stays very warm. Issues with breakfast - promised freshly squeezed orange juice came from the bottled jug on the counter. Gave up on ordering the eggs - just too slow and disorganised. Complaint made no difference.

Our towels had holes ... so many.
There is no difference between standard and executive rooms. Don't pay more for slippers you don't need.

We booked a large room in this hotel and we had a single plus large double which was very comfortable. The room was very spacious. Parking under ground was secure and easy to access and there were handy luggage trollies available. The public areas were well decorated and modern. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.
We didn't eat any other meals in the restaurant but saw plenty of families who did.
This hotel is functional, has some nice touches and is well located a 15 min walk from all the bars and restaurants in the old town. It was good value for money. I hate to admit but it lacked wow factor but I think that this is not what its aiming for anyway. All round a good safe choice.

Nice hotel in central location

This was a lovely hotel, my daughter particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. The room was tidy though it was very hot and stuffy at times and we had to open the window, our stay was during Xmas so it was pretty cold outside. During our weeks stay we only had the room cleaned once (through our own choice) and it was to good standards. The only complaint I have is that our key card kept deactivating during our stay so we had to keep going to reception to get it activated again.

3 nights with family. Carpark process is not clear causing inconvenience. Room keys failed causing inconvenience. Executive rooms were a waste of money - exactly the same as normal room but with coffee, ipod dock, robes and upgraded toiletries. Will be looking for alternatives on next visit.

Hotellet ligger rigtig fint placeret. Vi lod bilen stå i parkeringskælderen og bevægede os rundt til fods. Værelserne er okay. Vinduerne skærmer fint for støjen fra trafikken. Det eneste, vi bøvlede med, var temperaturen på værelset. Selvom vi havde sat den til at nedkøle, havde vi det voldsomt varmt om natten i april.
Der er en lille afdeling med fitness, svømmehal og sauna. Spaen var ude af drift i den periode, vi var der.
Der er en meget varieret morgenmadsbuffet.

Sublimt hotel, gode faciliteter, god service, god morgenmad, god lokation.

2x små minusser:
Deres p kælder: meget meget smal og mega små p båse OG ret dyr - 130 kr per nat! Det er jo hvad det koster mange andre steder, men stadig dyr og pladsen taget i betragtning.
Den anden ting er, en af dagene vi var der, i pollen om eftermiddagen - der kom 8 gange lokale børn med forældre til lokal svømmeundervisning! Mega meget larm og reb hen over pool så vi ikke kunne bruge den, for der skulle de være. Da vi talte med personalet virkede de til at det var helt normalt og at det jo også stod på en tavle bagerst i receptionen (på polsk) at der var svømmeundervisning.

Ellers meget fornem betjening og fantastisk værelse - vi havde en 4 personers suite.

Vi bor altid på Novosol i påsken og har familie og venner med. Det er et dejligt familie hotel med masser af muligheder, da der er pool og træningslokale på hotellet. Dog er der ikke mulighed for opladning af elbil hvilket er et kæmpe minus.
