Kolejny pobyt w Focusie, jakże odmienny od poprzedniego. Zarezerwowana ten sam standard pokoju. Tym razem na parterze, z widokiem na niezbyt piękny wewnętrzny parking. Pokój ciemny i zimny na przyjazd. W nocy od godziny 01:30 brak gorącej wody.
Śniadanie 50pln ... zdecydowana przesada w stosunku do oferowanego menu. Kończące się wędliny, ser czy naleśniki ni ebyły na bieżąco uzupełniane przez personel.

Standard hotel close to the city. Room ok, didn’t have breakfast.

Receptionist was keen to sell us their 25 PLN car park service and when questioned what the street parking cost told us it was 3 PLN per hour. This was not incorrect for zone A directly outside the hotel front door, however she failed to mention that zone B ( located merely a few meters away and much closer than the hotel car park) was less than half this price..... ☹️
The staff could smile more and be more genuine in their approach, that is for sure

I was a bit hesitant to book here because the prices were so cheap, but the hotel was fantastic! A beautiful river view with the historic district nearby, a great restaurant right next door, modern rooms and an unbeatable breakfast buffet made our first day in Poland perfect!

Very good location, near enough to shopping 🛍 bars and restaurants. The breakfast was ample, with plenty of variety, but same every morning.
We had a premium room on the top floor, with stunning views over the river, room was clean and had very good facilities.

Hotel Focus in Szczecin.

This is a really nice budget hotel! Comfortable, friendly staff, nice decor, and a good breakfast. I didn't have an evening meal this time, but have in the past. The food and local beer in restaurant is excellent. No air-con which wouldn't normally be a problem, but I stayed when to was over 20C at night. However, with the window ajar, I still had a good relaxing sleep.

Ok, I arrived late at night and had a slow check in (lots of people arriving). Sadly, the room I was given was occupied (literally! I opened the door and there was a man on the bed!). The receptionist had disappeared temporarily - and the chap who worked the restaurant couldn’t help. 5 min. Finally I get a new room and key.

The staff were aware of my troubles and were sympathetic. There was no shower gel/ shampoo in the dispenser (so I had no soap for my hair). The water kept alternatively going freezing or boiling. Argh!

So not a perfect hotel, and I can’t tell if it’s just me. But I can say staff were super nice. They quickly sorted things out when they went wrong and gave me a complimentary drink and allowed me to check out late with no charge. So overall, I was happy. Restaurant food was yummy.

The room was nice, small and with no air conditioning which made my stay a little unpleasant. I had to ask for a cooling fan which made the comfort a bit better. Wi-Fi could be improved.

Very clean rooms. Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed but very noisy outside. It was too hot in the room and we slept with opened windows. The traffic outside was going on through the night and it was loud. Otherwise great value.

Ripped towels, obviously a long-standing issue since the receptionist said she was familiar with the problem. Twin beds squeezed into single room. No room to sit at the desk.

Perfect. Lovely location very central easy walk to the castle area, embankment, central shopping district and airport shuttle stop. Couldn't believe the quality of this hotel at such a low price. All very modern, clean, good service. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food. The ship bar opposite was a good place to hang out in the evenings too. A great little town for a cheap weekend break.

Close to everything

The hotel was close to the river and all main attractions. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile. Nothing was ever too much for them as only had to ask one question and they would find out for us.
They booked the taxi to and from the airport for us so when we got there it was waiting even though we had a two and half hour delay

3 night stay in the city. Bars/restaurants on Waly Chrobrego are very close. Buffet breakfast was very average, with poor food - overpriced. Parking proved to be a bit of a struggle located away from the Hotel - would not be good in bad weather. Bridgeworks (sandblasting) all night created a Catch 22 - hot room with windows closed or noisy room with them open. Probably will look at alternative accommodation for our next visit.

Hotel info states parking available. When I arrived I was told there was no available space. Half of the Bathroom light switch was behind the wardrobe. The basin was blocked. If the Bathroom is cleaned property there is no way this could be missed.

I had been at the Focus 3 years ago, since which it has slightly downgraded, overALL......I was disappoinyted that the dining room was closed due to some sort of party, and the only food available was 'bar' stuff, with a very short menue. Tjhe gal server was sorta nasty, seemingly uncaring.......

Room with a view

An excellent choice for a stay in Szczecin. Close to the river, five minutes from the Old Town, and 15 min to the city center (Centrum), although in different directions. The Internet works 24/7 and food and especially coffee are great. Both my room and my bathroom had a large window overlooking the river. Very pleasant and very restful (and I was on business).

It would be good to include the hotel information flyer in a welcome pack in each of the rooms. Check-out time, using telephone, etc was not immediately clear. Thankfully the reception was very helpful, and then realised there is a brochure at their desk as well. The only uncomfortable thing were the pillows which were somewhat small. Not major, but if they were slightly bigger it would have been so much better.

An unfortunate blip.

We were put initially in a room with no storage space. After objecting we were told that we could have a better room the next day as the hotel was currently full. We were given wine and fruit as consolation. The next room had a noisy party going next door as we tried to sleep. Nothing was done after a complaint so we then moved to ANOTHER room at 11.00 pm which was fine. I have stayed there before several times and was looked after well on these occasions so this visit was unfortunate. I have always previously found the hotel to be excellent.

The room quality matched that of higher star rated hotels. The location was central to the main shooping areas in Szczecin, highly recommended.

Hotel Focus Szczecin - value for money

The hotel is located near the river, only five minutes walk from a shopping street, but in a quiet street. It is close to a major road but this was not noticeable inside. It´s a modern hotel in an older building. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff very helpful.

We really enjoyed our visit to Hotel Focus. It is really smart and has recently been refurbished. It is in a pleasant location close to museums and one of the university buildings. It is in an elevated position overlooking the river. I usually had a walk before goling to bed enjoying the view.
The breakfast was superb, and was one of the best we have had at similar hotels.

Hotel Focus Szczecin -beautiful old building

This small hotel close to the center of the city was a 21st century hotel in a completely refurbished building from 1909. It is across from the Dukes Castle and close to the waterfront. The staff was helpful with getting taxis and making wake-up calls as needed.
The morning breakfast buffet was great with many choices. The same dining room is used in the evening as a bar and restaurant. Prices for dinner were definitely reasonable by American standards.
My room was kept clean and tidy and had all the amenities I needed including an English language TV station - the BBC World News.

A good deal for not a lot of Zloty

The Focus is a fairly characterless modern hotel in appearance, (though converted from old buildings) but it offers excellent value for money in an interesting town. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the main modern shopping centre but it more than makes up for that by its situation overlooking the port. It is also very close to a number of good restaurants on the terrace that overlooks the river and is only a short stroll from the charming remnants of the old town. The public transport system is close at hand and the nearest tram stop no more than 100 metres. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient. Use of the sauna is free and, as a bonus, complimentary filled rolls are available at breakfast for guests to take for lunch snacks. All told, an excellent good value base for a few days in Szczecin.

Loved this hotel

We had booked a triple room but our 16 year old daughter was given her own room free of charge as the hotel has a ploicy of free accomodation to under 18 year olds travelling with parents. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and they provided filled rolls for everyone wanting a picnic lumch!

Świetny hotel za fajną cene

Rewelacyjne położenie. Blisko do Holiday Parku, Starego Rynku, na samych Wałach Chrobrego. Miła obsługa i fajne śniadania.
Miejsc parkingowych jest sporo przed samym hotelem. Godzina postoju to ok. 4zl a cały dzień to ok 30 zł.
Piękny widok z pokojów 😍😍
