Great hotel in a great location. Particularly liked the outdoor area to relax in the evening. Perfect after a busy day in the theme park. Would definitely stay there again. My only negative is there is no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Something I would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Great day out with children aged 3 and 4

Great hotel- beautifully clean and outdoor swimming pool by the ‘colesseum wall’ was great. Buffet dinners were great quality and perfect for kids- who ate for free. It was a shame the children’s pool was closed for the whole duration of our stay as this was our reason for choosing the hotel. Understandable as most guests I imagine stay 1 or 2 nights but we struggled to accommodate our luggage for 2 weeks holiday in the room :-) That said, really couldn’t fault the hotel. Kids loved the bunk bed, breakfast good and staff all very friendly and helpful.

Location, location, location

Mixed - some good, some bad, some excellent. Good: Room was nice, fun and clean. Bad: no aircon and leaving windows open was noisy, no kettle in rooms (given the resort size, this made a simple tea difficult to get). Excellent: Breakfast, show from room window, pizzas good value and tasty, location fabulous, many activities for children, great staff

Good bang for the buck

Excellent location, better of the other park hotels with evening show. Room was a bit on the smaller size but with bunk-bed fitted well. Breakfast was average nothing fancy for a 4* hotel.

Close to the Europa-Park

The hotell is great in many regards. They have a parking garage that is free next to the entrance. You only need to walk for 2 minutes to reach the Europa-Park. The beds were a bit hard though, especially the \"horsy\" extra beds. The pillows were nothing but air, way to flat. The thing that annoyed me most was that I was looking forward to get to the bar, as a whisky anorak I knew they would stash some goodies, which they did. But, they only sell them in 4 cl, I wanted to sample 3 different (obscure/expensive) whiskies, 2 cl each, but they refused to sell each in less than 4 cl. I left the bar, they did not get to sell me anything, bad service!

Half term theme park break

Third visit here so I know what to expect . I did meet my expectations as a quality hotel with no surprises . Very comfortable and convenient . The last hour free access to the park is very welcome. I do prefer this to Disneyland Paris . Handy having a couple of grocery stores nearby . Breakfast is excellent . I will be back.

The hotel will provide a free ticket for the last 2 hours for Europa Park in the day of check in.

Brilliant but two little suggestions

We had a brilliant time and can't speak highly enough about both the hotel and the park or the staff. Our hotel was the only one that didn't have air conditioning (during the recent big heatwave) and we didn't know until check out that we could have had a fan. If this was notified at check in we could not have had any suggestions, our stay was that good. The other suggestion would be to post the park closing times at the gate. These seemed a bit random. Other than that, just great

great hotel to visit Europa park

it was a good experience. the room is huge and the kids bed is so comfortable. the bathroom is clean. but there is no AC & no tea,coffee supplies in the room. they do not offer iron at all for security reasons.
the breakfast buffet is amazing you can fined many different varieties .
in the lobby there is a play area for kids and it`s perfect.
the staff is more than great they are very helpful and friendly.
over all it was a pleasant stay.

Great getaway location

Hotel is in a very convenient location to Europa Park. Room was comfortable and clean and the facilities such as pool and restaurants were good although the weekend meals within the buffet area was almost like feeding time at the zoo due to the amount of people. I would stay again with my young family.

Great mistake

I book a business trip in a hurry and picked this hotel not realizing that is was a part of a theme park. Price was great for the value. Different experience from a traditional hotel that you would regularly frequent in business, but I would do it again. Good restruarnts and amenities.

We stayed 2 nights,and they gave us 3 day ticket,considering the price of admission for 2 persons for 3 days,plus the sumptuous breakfast offering,you end up paying for the room a very minimal amount!

As for the room itself,i expected more considering the 4star hotel status plus being a theme hotel,dont get me wrong,the room is still very well decorated & spacious,but you would expect there to be a mini bar or safe deposit box,even robes or coffee making kit, our room was way out of reach of the lobby,therefore the complimentary wi-fi didnt reach us,however, hotel staff provided us with a wifi router for a deposit of 50€ refundable.

Expect to be waiting in queue for the breakfast,therefore better wake up early.

Te hotel provides early park access to guests, in our case everytime we went early to the park,the some big rides \"if not all\" were closed for an hour or 2 because of the extreme cold weather.

I would really recommend for the value of what u get,just dont expect the extra amenities u would come to expect.

The staff are among the friendliest staff ive ever seen.

We stayed 2 night at the hotel. The check in process was fast. But we didn't like the rooms which has no air condition, no safe box, no mini refrigerator and no hot water boiler which was very important to prepare milk for our kid. This hotel should be rated 3 stars not 4. The breakfast baufet was perfect which has a variety of food.

Brilliant Hotel

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. Stayed in a few hotels this summer and this one was amazing. The self service dinner was expensive but well worth it as the food is gorgeous. My 2 kids really enjoyed it. The characters were all around at breakfast and interacted with the kids a lot. The breakfast had and was lovely. The rooms were very spacious and so well designed and maintained.
We didn't have a view of the courtyard which would have been better. So definitely recommend getting a room with a view. The hotel had a short walk under a tunnel to get directly into the park. The hotel gave us free tickets the evening we arrived, so we could see the park and see what rides kids liked. Was absolutely brilliant park. We got extra time in mornings and evenings. The shows were so good! Having been to disneyland this park was so much better!! No pushing or shoving for rides, all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cannot recommend this hotel and theme park enough!!

The best hotel in Rust

This hotel has got an amazing Roman theme, it's modern, clean, the rooms are spacious, buffet breakfast is so delicious, dinner is also delicious and romantic, the pool is way too cool, hotel staff are super friendly... I can't say anything bad about this hotel, we had a wonderful time here and we will stay here again the next time we are visiting Rust, Germany.

Great for the entire family!

The rooms were standard - the kids loved the bunk beds that actually looked comfortable - the breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly require and was very well looked after. The staff, with one exception was very friendly and all spoke english. My husband was thrilled that there was free internet and I really enjoyed the spa. The dinner quality could be improved but overall we all had a blast.

I went with my wife a my little son (3 years old)during the last Easter, and we spent a really great time overthere. Room was big, clean with amazing Roman paints on the walls. Food was great as well, as breakfast buffet has whatever you want to eat. My son was so happy playing in the plaza just in front of the hotel, they have also a children playgrounds near to the lobby.

À presque 300 e la nuit en 4 étoiles supérieur je m attends à :
- avoir un lit fait et non une couette posée en carré (température extérieure : 35 degrés) mais pas de draps
- des serviettes correctes, épaisses, de bonne qualité. Je fais 1m61 et la plus grande des serviettes me couvrait à peine les fesses. Par ailleurs elles sont si fines qu elles sont vites détrempées, ennuyeux avec des cheveux longs
- une porte de douche qui ferme correctement
- un minimum de tranquillité et non une route passante dès 4h30 du matin lorsque je dois passer la nuit fenêtre ouverte à cause des 35 degrés extérieurs et l atmosphère moite
- un peignoir pour la sortie de la douche
- un sèche-cheveux digne de ce nom et non une antiquité qui souffle à peine
- une lotion pour le corps, du démêlant, du savon et non un \"mains, corps, cheveux\" qui n' est assurément pas un gage de qualité
- un mini bar
- un coin café

Je relève quelques points positifs :
- taille de la chambre correcte
- Bonne literie
- bon petit déjeuner

Il est sain pour une entreprise de travailler sur sa rentabilité, cependant il ne faut pas tomber dans la radinerie... J'ai vraiment le sentiment d'avoir été roulée dans la farine.

Par ailleurs il est promis de pouvoir accéder 30 minutes avant l ouverture du parc aux attractions, ce qui est faux :
- seule une poignée d attractions accessible
- 100 % des attractions accessibles à 8h50... En même temps que pour les non résidents !

Wir haben als Familie mit unserem 3-jährigen Sohn zwei Nächte im Hotel Colosseo verbracht und es war einfach fantastisch! Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir beeindruckt vom wunderschönen, italienisch inspirierten Ambiente. Unser Zimmer mit Blick auf den Europa-Park war ein echtes Highlight, besonders abends, wenn der Park beleuchtet ist, einfach traumhaft!

Das Hotel ist perfekt auf Familien eingestellt. Unser Sohn war begeistert vom Kinderbereich im Foyer, dem großzügigen Außenpool und natürlich vom direkten Parkzugang, der für Hotelgäste sogar früher am Morgen geöffnet wird. Das war ein echter Bonus!

Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, frisch und mit allem, was Kinder und Erwachsene glücklich macht – von Pancakes über frisches Obst bis hin zu herzhaften Spezialitäten. Besonders angenehm war das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – immer ein Lächeln, egal wie voll es gerade war.

Nach einem langen Tag im Europa-Park konnten wir abends im Wellnessbereich entspannen, während unser Sohn sich noch einmal richtig austoben konnte. Die Restaurants im Hotel bieten leckere italienische Küche in stilvollem Ambiente – auch kinderfreundlich!

Das Hotel Colesseo befindet sich im Europapark und der Vorteil des Hotels ist, dass man 30 Minuten vor Parköffnung als Hotelgast Zugang erhält. Die Freundlichkeit des Restaurantpersonals lässt teilweise zu wünschen übrig. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig. Der Innenhof am Abend ist sehr schön.

Es war wie immer alles perfekt, ausser parkplatz probleme wenn viel los ist muss mann sehr lange suchen. Wir haben freundlich eine Mitarbeiterin gefragt ob sie leicht umparken könnte das sie zwei parkplätze benutzte, sie meinte es passen nie em leben zwei auto's .
Wir haben ihr gesagt das wir jetzt jemanden holen. Plötzlich ist sie weg gefahren und wir könnten endlich parken und sogar noch einen auto neben drann die auch schon sehr lange gesucht haben.

El hotel es fabuloso. Las habitaciones familiares están muy bien, con una cama grande y dos literas buenas. El baño también está muy bien. Quizás, el armario resulte un poco pequeño. En el hotel hay una pequeña piscina cubierta que comunica con la exterior. El personal del hotel es muy amable y hacen lo posible por ayudar. Nosotros habíamos cogido entradas para dos días a Europa-Park y como en un día nos dio tiempo a todo porque no había colas pedimos cambiar el segundo día por Rulantica y lo hicieron sin problema.
La única pega que le pongo es el sablazo del agua en la pizzería del hotel. No te permiten pedir una jarra de agua y la botella te la cobran a 7,5€

Das Hotel war schön, die Zimmer ok. Unser Zimmer war recht kalt, obwohl wir den kleinen Heizkörper aufs max. eingestellt hatten. Dies machte das ganze etwas ungemütlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok, aber etwas unangenehm mit den vielen Leuten. Wenn man so viel für eine Nacht bezahlt, erwartet man etwas mehr... In der Sauna war nur eine Kabine geöffnet. Zwei Anlagen waren geschlossen.Für uns unlogisch in Pandemiezeiten...

Wir haben für uns entschieden, das nächste mal wieder in eine kleinere, gemütliche Pension in Rust zu gehen.

Hotel war an sich ok, aber die Auslastung des Hotels war nicht konform mit den Corona Bestimmungen. Trotz eines wirklich hohen Preises für den Aufenthalt, war eine Tischreservierung weder Abends noch Morgens möglich. Begründet damit dass man ja nicht so viele Leute wie sonst üblich erlaubt wären. Die Auslastung des Hotels war aber nicht daran angepasst - sprich mehr Hotelgäste als Tische. Wenn ich für 3 Tage über 1000 Euro bezahle kann das nicht angehen, das ich da nicht mit meiner Familie essen gehen kann.

Unser Wochenende im Europa Park war wieder wunderschön. Die Übernachtung im Hotel Colosseo war sehr entspannt. Nur das Frühstück am zweiten Tag, einem Sonn, war etwas enttäuschend. Es war nicht alles da, . Trotzdem werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

À notre arrivée, une entrée d'hôtel colossal à couper le souffle, un enregistrement rapide, chambre sans présomption, très propre, bonne literie et décoration dans le thème de l'hôtel. De nombreux restaurants, bars et glaciers entourent une place à jet d'eau. Spa, piscine, allées et parc nous ont émerveillés.
Quant au petit-déjeuner, délicieux et très bien fourni. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Selv om Parken var lukket, var servicen i top og omgivelserne gjorde at man følte spændingen og fornøjelsen ved en forlystelsespark. Dejlig varm 31 grader inden/udendørs swimmingpool. Et dejligt pusterum til billige priser. 👍

Entspannen im Hotel Colosseo

Wir waren für 2 Nächte im Hotel \"Colosseo\" in Rust und wollten vor Ort vor allem entspannen und das Wellness-Angebot nutzen. Von daher wurden unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt.

Der Spa-Bereich des \"Colosseo\" besteht aus einem Indoor-/Outdoorpool und drei Saunas. Dazu gibt es noch einen Massagebereich. Es können zusätzlich die Spa-Bereiche der anderen Hotels genutzt werden. Die Saunas sind eher klein, aber da es nicht viele Gäste hatte zu dieser Zeit, stellte dies kein Problem dar.

Das Massageangebot ist umfangreich und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Wir buchten das \"Zweisamkeit-Angebot\", welches ein Meersalzpeeling, eine Ganzkörpermassage und ein enstpannendes Bad beinhaltete. Die Masseusen waren stets freundlich und professionell. Wir fühlten uns wohl und konnten die zwei Stunden wirklich geniessen.

Die Restaurants waren aufgrund der Nebensaison nicht alle offen. Wir waren am Abend jeweils im Restaurant des Hotels. Das Angebot war ausreichend. Die bestellten Pizzas waren zwar nicht die besten, aber schmeckten trotzdem lecker. Das Frühstücksbuffet war inklusive und man konnte über Brot, Fleisch, Käse bis hin zum Müsli alles bekommen, auf das man gerade Luste hatte. Der Kaffee war durchschnittlich dafür stehen aber genügend Alternativen wie Tee und Säfte zur Verfügung.

Das Hotel war vom Stil her sehr schön und die Unterkunft sauber. Der Service war gut und das Personal stets freundlich. Von daher können wir einen Wellness-Besuch zu dieser Zeit sehr empfehlen.

Week-end détente au SPA 😊

Je suis toujours satisfait quand je descends dans cet hôtel. J’y vais principalement pour me détendre dans leur spa qui est très agréable et reposant. Le buffet du petit déjeuner propose beaucoup de choix et varié. Il m’a juste manqué un peu d’explications concernant lors du check-in et la personne me demandait un coupon pour la réservation qui n’est pas nécessaire en réservant via Hôtels.com... mais rien de bien méchant. J’y retournerai avec plaisir et le petit cadeau que l’on reçoit en boutique est une petite attention toiiiurs appréciée.
Pour les personnes qui veulent séjourner pour profiter du parc lorsqu’il est ouvert se situe juste à côté.

Negativ: nicht gebuchtes Zimmer (2 Erwachsene und 1Kind, D Zimmer) erhalten, mussten für Kind im Zimmer separat nochmals zahlen und nur Standardzimmer erhalten

Interessantes Hotel außerhalb der Saison!

Wunderbares Hotel. Etwas verspielt, aber in Anbetracht zur Nähe des Freizitparks vollkommen o. k. Preis-/Leistung sehr gut. Abendessen im Restaurant etwa teuer. Gute Anbindung an BAB.

В отели провели одну ночь,были в Европа парке с мужем и 9 летней внучкой.зарегистрировались очень быстро, купили сразу билеты на два дня в парк. Заселились уже в 7 вечера, номер очень чистый, довольно просторный, интересно оформлен. Ужин в ресторане зарезервировали при регистрации. Поужинали очень хорошо, буфет был очень разнообразен, все было вкусно, завтрак тоже понравился. Вообще впечатление хорошее, обслуживание при таком количестве людей очень оперативное. Очень жаль что в этом году не было вечером в отеле никакой развлекательной программы( два года назад было интересное шоу)

Hotel sehr empfehlenswert. Buffet abends und morgens ist perfekt für Familien mit Kindern. Nur die Anmeldung am 1. Tag war mühsam und langsam.

Week end très agréable

Points positifs : week end très agréable, personnel charmant que ce soit à l'hôtel même, au restaurant ou à la piscine. Petit déjeuner excellent.
Points négatifs : mobilier de piscine largement insuffisant et voleur de peignoir avec clé de chambre(remplacés gracieusement par le personnel)
