A great hotel in the centre of the town, close to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Room was really nice, with a decent living area separate from the bedroom. Breakfast and dinner options were great, albeit a little expensive. €19 for breakfast and dinner with starters and mains around €25, so not cheap, but very tasty and memorable. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel is nice with great views (if you have front room facing the sea as we had). If arriving by car, you can not drive to hotel. you have to park in very tight and deep underground parking with two flights of stairs to carry luggage (after the elevator!). Location is very good in the center of the city.

Although the weather was mixed the hotel location was perfect to explore this unusual corner of France. The room had gorgeous sea views and a large balcony. The shower was fantastic and the lighting and other touches like a basque pastry were very enjoyable. Would stay again when we return to Biarritz!

This boutique hotel is a gem!!. The rooms were beautiful and loved our ocean view. The restaurant and bar had great service and food. Staff at hotel very friendly. Maude at the front desk was so sweet and helped with dinner reservations and other things to make our trip memorable. We hope to return in the future.

From the minute, we walked in the hotel every staff member treated us kindly and with a smile. The front desk staff were great for making reservations and organizing taxis. The room overlooking the main beach and ocean, along with the lighthouse in the distance was perfect to relax with, while sitting in your room on downtime. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.

We booked the suite, terrace for three nights. The location is fantastic, walking distance to restaurants/cafes/shops etc including the beach which can be seen from the balcony. The outlook is simply amazing. The balcony off our suite was really big. With 2 comfortable lounges and 2 lay down deck chairs, lots of cushions. The best place to take in the suns rays. The suite was super comfortable as well with lounge and TV. Separate bedroom with king bed, TV and a large bathroom and shower. The suite is well presented. Breakfast was beautiful every morning, staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. I would most definitely stay here again. 5 stars from me. Excellent!!!!

Brilliant hotel where we enjoyed a spectacular view from a beautifully designed and large room. Everything in the room was equipped with the guest in mind (lovely smelling toiletries, gowns, proper hangers and storage space etc) with added bonus of the toilet being separate from the bathroom. Slept peacefully with window open to soft sound of the waves - bliss. Service outstanding from friendly staff. Definitely will return.

We had an AMAZING stay in this hotel! What a view from our window, a dream. It has been refurbished to a high standard, and most of the decoration (lamps, cushions, ...) is from a stylish local shop on top of it. The ladies at reception were all very friendly. The breakfast is definitely to be tried, it is worth the extra price with high-quality food and plenty of options; no waste as you can choose your preferences. We also enjoyed having a drink every eve at the bar, it was our little ritual before going out for dinner.

There was no air conditioning in our room and we could not sleep. We asked to change rooms and they wouldnt accommodate us. We paid $500 for that room and they offered us nothing- not even a fan! Would not come back here.

Friendly staff. very clean. We stayed in a Junior suite which was spacious and well-equipped. There was no milk for the tea or coffee in the room, but the bar staff were happy to provide fresh milk which we kept in the mini bar fridge.

The location and view of the Atlantic were exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated in greens and aquas (teal) and had double windows opening to the square below which overlooked the water. The shower was excellent too. We had a junior suite but might opt for the large balcony room next time. The staff were very helpful. It was a perfect experience.

Great location overlooking the beach and with all the restaurants, shops and buzz of Biarritz within easy walking distance. Our room had a terrace with views of the surfers and felt connected to atmosphere of the town. Really comfortable room; steam room was an unexpected bonus and we really had nothing to complain about. Perfect location for sightseeing and accessing beaches. Beautiful view from the room window. A little expensive compared to other hotels in the area but worth it if you are staying just a few nights. The shower configuration was a little odd as it was difficult to not get the entire bathroom wet when showering but that was very minor. Overall had a great stay

Beautiful Seaside Town-Questionable Hospitality
Biarritz is a lovely upscale seaside village. It has many upscale shops close to the beach. I do not think you need more than 2 days in this area, as one would be for strolling and shopping and one if good weather go to the beaches. This hotel is right on the bluffs of the ocean and is a nice place to have coffee and take pictures. The hotel staff needs to have hospitality training. Not very friendly or way too shy. I don't know. There is not Valet service, we had 6 suitcases and no drop off in front of hotel..you park in Clemenceau garage, which we found on our own, the Hotel did not give us any help when we called...they \"didn't know\", and it a very popular garage with 6 underground floors. You will have to carry your own bags up like us in several trips and its a haul.

The \"triple\" room is crampy and tiny by ANY standard-one one side of the bed there is only a distance of a few centimeters to the wall, tthere is a set ot severely inclinated stairs which gives you the sensation you may fall down, and you hear noises from the street.
This place is a very small \"hotel\" which feels more like a hostel or pension. More of a 3 stars-not worth the money. We had to bring our luggage from quite a distance and nobody helped us- the site location is hard to find because you look for a hotel but you dont see it. Will not stay here again.

Nice hotel in great location with some drawbacks
The hotel is located in the center of town and has very helpful staff. Unfortunately we arrived on a weekend of a festival and the streets to the hotel were closed. We had a rental car and could not reach the hotel. Since there is limited staff at this small hotel, there was little they could do for us. So, we drive around for a while and had to park about 15 minutes away and lug our luggage across the hills to get to the hotel. Also, Hotels.com indicates that there is parking at the hotel which is misleading as there is only a public parking garage nearby.
The room was not visually appealing and did not impress upon arrival but it was comfortable overall. The big downside for us was that the satellite did not work properly for the English stations on the TV. They were unable to address this during our stay and seemed to be aware of the problem so this was not new.

Good location but had stained carpets in our room.
Had a triple room which was split level so large. Bathroom was large and modern, shower only, no bath. Toilet is seperate which is nice. Bed was very big. We were on the 1st floor but as the sitting area with the window is below the bedroom you don't get a view from the bed area, the line of sight is angled downwards so the ocean view we were expecting was actually of the paved area outside.
Location is very good, the public car park, Bellevue, is literally metres from the hotel at €19 for 24 hours.
The biggest problem was that the carpets in our room were stained, which is not what I expect at £544 for 2 nights.

Very expensive for what is was! A great location but a very tired hotel in need of an update.

Hotel was our favourite on the trip. Very close to all the restaurants and shopping but just outside so that it was a quiet area. Breakfast was excellent. Only downside was that the wifi was down for two of the three days we were there. Would definitely stay there again.

Great view from the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite and enjoyed the space and views over the ocean.

Lovely small hotel overlooking the sea
Biarritz is a very accessible city--easy to walk around in, for good exercise; good biking; and, of course, the beautiful beach nearby the hotel. The welcome was warm; the rooms very comfortable, although mine was a two-level, with a stunning view of Bellevue Plaza and the sea. The restaurant was great--I ended up eating there three times, I liked the food and the service so well. Breakfast was excellent each morning. The WiFi worked well. On the whole, it was a simply lovely stay.

Beautiful ocean-front hotel
Lovely boutique hotel located directly above the \"Grand Plage\" on Bellvue Place. Fantastic views of the ocean, surfers, and beach. You do need to go down a number of steps to reach the beach itself. Central location close to dozens of restaurants and shoppes. An easy walk to the Virgin statue on the rocks, Aquarium, Casino Barriere and the former summer palace of Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie, now the Hotel du Palais. Longer trek to the lighthouse. A lovely waterfront bar area and restaurant in the hotel. Extremely accommodating staff. You do have to request ice from the bar. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to friends!

This hotel has the perfect location right on the water and city center. The staff was wonderfully attentive upgrading our room to an oceanfront suite because one was available. The only complication was the lack of parking and the complication of reaching the hotel to drop off your luggage. But once I called the hotel we got good directions on where we could park.
