Lovely hotel with pleasant staff at reception and housekeeping. Easy stroll to the beach gives you a friendly restaurant and a music bar. The restaurant inside the hotel had a good range of food but need to brush up on their customer care towards foreign visitors, being English we were an inconvenience. My fish was good my other half’s steak had too much sinew to be edible, our order for wine turned into beer. My french is not good but I’m a dab hand at pointing ordering with a smile and a few words. We didn’t receive an apology. It was a shame as it marred our otherwise lovely two day break.

This hotel provides comfortable basic accommodation for a stopover, but with extensive additional facilities is also suitable for a longer stay or base for the area. It is approximately a five minute drive from Junction 3 (St. Jean de Luz North) of the Autoroute and is easy to find. The friendly receptionist greeted us by name on arrival, always a nice touch to be made to feel welcome. There is an excellent restaurant serving a good selection of dishes for dinner, with the usual and expected arrangements of fresh bread, fruits, cereals, cold meat and cheese for breakfast. The fact that it was packed for dinner shows just how popular it is. There is a large outdoor swimming pool available in the summer months and a basement garage with free parking for guests. It was pouring with rain when we arrived so the lift to the hotel is a real bonus in inclement weather.

Nice big ,clean room.Sliding glass door to balcony.Close to town and beach.On warm nights you can walk over to wall and search all you want for the A/C switch,because there is none.Got heat,but no cold air,thus the big sliding door.Parking in basement,free.Bi-lingual staff,very friendly.Reception opens in AM,but closes for lunch,like a shoe store does.So if you arrive during this siesta,you will wait until they reopen the desk.

Very clean & although we didn't book self catering it was a pleasant surprise to find a kettle & fridge in the room tea & coffee was supplied by no milk. We had a balcony overlooking road but this is not a busy Road so didn't bother us even though we left balcony open all night due to the heat. Couldn't get air con to work but as we weren't that bothered didn't ask reception for any help. Pool was clean & lovely temperature for cooling off on hot day. Reception staff very pleasant & parking was free underneath hotel. Only stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast was continental & ok.

What a pleasant surprise when we arrived at Hotel Erromardie (although this title can be confusing as the hotel is actually called ODalys). It is a beautiful hotel in a magical location. Just a one minute walk from a fab beach, three little restaurants and a beach bar.Gorgeous walk up around the cliffs overlooking the beach. Would def recommend staying in this hotel.The pool was a welcome treat after a week on the beach in Biarritz

We would like to thank the staff at the Hotel for such lovely days in Southern France. The hotel is located in a beautiful area with lovely surroundings and a quiet and peaceful neibourhood. The staff are gentle and the petit--déjeneur is very good. The rooms are wide and comfortable very calm and clean. The parking area is close to the Hotel and the weather is fantastique!!

A deux pas de la plage, endroit calme, ça reste une valeur sûre quand on séjourne sur Saint-Jean de Luz. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, bien insonorisée. Seul bémol, le côté restauration, service pas des plus agréable, pas beaucoup de monde et pourtant prise de commande interminable et pour finir une part de gâteau basque à 9€.....on peut dire que c'est du vol !!!!! Il y a plein de restaurants à proximité et au centre qui valent bien mieux.

Par contre le petit déjeuner est cher pour la qualité des produits industriels proposés : jambon humide et gruyère de fast food ; une seule machine à café donc attente, de plus la salle est trop petite (terrasse fermée) et un peu sombre. Bref, on ne s’y sent pas bien pour démarrer la journée. Dommage car cela nuit à la prestation globale ; il y a pourtant de bons produits au pays basque !!!

Notre chambre donnait au dessus de la réception ou la voiture passent, les enfants jouent (donc la sieste vous oublier) le soir les concours de vachettes sont à 20 m et la nuit les camions de livraison vous font grâce de leurs klaxonnes ou bruit de déchargement.

Excellent séjour dans un hôtel très calme en cette période. Cependant, on peut regretter pour une chambre, pour un couple, deux lits jumeaux. De plus, je reste dubitatif sur les buffets de petits déjeuners, en règle générale. Un tarif excessif pour un couple qui déjeune peu le matin. Pourquoi ne pas proposer deux formules : un buffet ou un plateau.

Le bruit était quelquefois gênant. Il y avait par exemple un couple espagnol qui a téléphoné sur le balcon avec le smartphone et haut parleurs pendant presqu’une heure. D’autres on laisser leurs voitures devant la réception avec le moteur en marche plus que quinze minutes.

On a réservé une chambre d'hôtel et odalys nous a donné un appart hotel dans la résidence mais les plaques de cuisson ne fonctionnait pas. Pas de sèche cheveu comme indiqué dans la réservation. Tasses pas nettoyées tous les jours et ni réapprovisionnement en the et café. Manque rangement ds salle de bain. Carrelage douche très limite et vieillot.

Hotels plus familiale que pour un couple mais sympathique.Personnels accueillants et avec le sourire malgré la forte affluence ce jour ci. Chambre propre! Nous n'avons passez qu'une nuit car ce n'était qu'une étape de notre road trip vers Madrid.Mais ce qui est sûr, lorsque nous reviendrons dans le secteur nous aurons déjà notre hotel !!!

Une très bonne expérience dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très sympathique. Chambre nickel, le ménage est fait tous les jours. Petit plus le restaurant de l'hôtel est délicieux et le matin, les pains et viennoiseries sont frais.
Je recommande cet hôtel seul petit bémol le toro piscine les mercredi et dimanche soirs fait vraiment trop de bruit et jusque tard dans la nuit mais hélas l'hôtel ne peut rien y faire.
