If you’re n Aigue Mortes this is where to stay

5 star hotel. The people were lovely. The hotel room was gorgeous. We used the indoor pool/spa and it was awesome after a day of walking. Great location. I parked in lot 2 and it was a 2 minute walk to the hotel. And when I left they got me out for free. The room was gorgeous.

A truly special place to stay!

The entire stay at Hotel de Remparts was exceptional. The hotel rooms were both stunning and comfortable. The family that owns the hotel is onsite and that made it even more special to see what kind of passion they poured into creating a one of a kind hotel experience. We hope to someday return.

Superb!

A wonderful stay in a beautifully refurbished building in Aigues Mortes. The family and their staff went above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Even Petrus and Nestor the hotel dogs were friendly and affectionate to all - particularly around breakfast time!! Fabulous hotel in a lovely ancient town and beautiful surrounding countryside. Well worth a visit.

Un séjour merveilleux dans un bâtiment magnifiquement rénové à Aigues Mortes. La famille et son personnel se sont surpassés pour fournir un excellent service. Même Petrus et Nestor, les chiens de l'hôtel, se sont montrés amicaux et affectueux envers tous - en particulier à l'heure du petit-déjeuner ! Excellent hôtel dans une charmante ville ancienne et dans une belle campagne environnante. Il vaut vraiment la peine d'être visité.

A Night As Castle Prince .

The hotel was set in the most picturesque location. You enter the city walls, which stand a full 40foot, and turn a short right across cobbles stones. A brief 100yard walk and you are met with the outside terrace of the hotel, umbrellas, both high and low tables and the first of man a welcoming smile. On entering the reception desk is askew you the side, a lush bar area lays to the left and a fully furnish living/sitting area to the right. Upon check in the manager greeted us personally in flawless English and had our bags taken to the room. She walked us around the courtyard out the back which had several more tables and sun loungers. Onto the spa, with a small but adequate inside swimming pool and a beautiful indoor spa. ( We later both had massages and I can’t not praise the skill of the masseuse more). The room itself was set in old castle stone with a window view out over the castle courtyard, tower and all. Combined with a deep bath at the end of a high raised queen bed gave rise to the full Regal feelings.

The staff had were incredibly friendly and I don’t say that lightly . Fluent English for all of them combined with a heartfelt smile and a genuine desire to help.

The town itself was stunning, as previous mentioned set within medieval walls, cobbled streets with boutique restaurants and bars on every corner.

A firm winner for me .

Couldn't be better.

After looking at the hotel on Hotels.com, we made the booking, but on arrival were thrilled to find that the Hotel had been completely renovated after being closed for 2 years. The front of the building still resembled the web pictures, but everything else was brand new!.................except of course for the centuries old stonework on display and integrated into the renovation. It is now a 4 start Hotel, so the information and pictures on Hotels.com will need updating. Service was excellent as was our room and the rest of the hotel. Situated inside the town wall, it is close to an access gate and external parking, the cost of which (53 euro) was covered by the Hotel. We couldn't fault this Hotel. Very tastefully renovated. Wifi that works. A large, clean, well equipped room. Parking. Close to everything. Pleasant staff. 100% recommendation.

L'hôtel est magnifique. La décoration et le style sont parfaitement adaptés au lieux et à l'ambiance du séjour à Aigues Mortes.
L'accueil était irréprochable. Nous avons été reçu comme des princes. Nous avons aussi eu la chance de profiter de la piscine. C'est un lieu très relaxant.
Quand au petit déjeuner, la qualité et la quantité étaient au rendez vous avec un large choix de produits que vous pouvez déguster à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur sur la magnifique terrasse face au célèbre remparts. Un séjour inoubliable. Je recommande cette établissement aux amoureux du style, du charme et de la tranquillité.

hotel dentro las murallas de Aigues Mortes, sitio super bonito y tranquilo.
No hay parquing en el edificio pero está justo a 2 minutos.
El Staff es super super amable, durante el desayuno me hizo compañia el perro del hotel, un amor. El desayuno bastante completo, pero no es a buffet, los platos los preparan ellos y los entregan a la mesa. Pero un clietne puede pider mil veces mas si quiero y por eso le daria maxima puntuacion.
La habitacion super limpia y decorada con buen gusto.
Yo diria que es mas un hotel de vacaciones y no de business, pero bueno depiende y es algo bastante personal.

Primera vez y seguro volveré a estar en este hotel porque me encantò todo.

Mon séjour était fantastique. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable.
La chambre était superbe, grand et comfortable. Je n'ai jamais eu une chambre tellement jolie.
En plus, l'hôtel a un lounge et bar au dehors, très accueillant. La cuisine est excellente, spécialement le petit-déjeuner, que est servi.

Rien à redire. Tout est tip top. Mais tout à un prix bien entendu. Pour le secteur (Aigues Mortes reste une fortification au bord de la camargue) ça reste un peu cher. Mais pour un séjour de 2,3 ou 4 nuits c'est parfait: faites vous plaisir, l'endroit a été particulièrement bien reconstruit, les espaces sont grands, tout est d'une propreté immaculée, et tout le personnel est aux petits soins de ses clients.
Y retourner pour un week-end ou plus, nous le ferons à coup sur.

Hotel de charme situe a l intérieur des remparts. Plusieurs parkings publiques devant qui sont gratuits pour les résidents de l hotel. Il y a un peu d attente en saison mais les rotations sont importantes. L hôtel est sympathique, il y a 1 petite piscine et salle de massage. En ce moment avec le covid19 vous ne pouvez y aller s il y a déjà des gens , l acces est limite aux membres d une seule chambre à la fois. Nous avions 1 suite deluxe ,très jolie, tres propre. La literie est très confortable, service de couverture et cafetière en chambre ce qui ne se fait plus partout depuis le covid19 et qui sont pourtant très appréciables. Staff tres sympathique. L insonorisation en chambre surtout cote route devrait etre améliorée mais cela reste corregte et il y a peu de passage de véhicules. Nous avons du attendre 1 bonne demi-heure à notre arrivee , 1 couple etant la avant nous et la chambre n etant pas tout a fait prete , nous aurions apprécié 1 boisson de bienvenue pour attendre car il faisait tres chaud surtout avec les masques, nous avons trouvé le temps long . Le seul point négatif est le prix du petit déjeuner qui est exorbitant 21 euros par personne , meme pour les jeunes de plus de 12 ans , c est du jamais vu pour nous . Meme en hotel 5 étoiles on ne paie pas un tel tarif. Nous avons donc pris le petit déjeuner a l extérieur. Leurs produits cosmétiques sont par contre tres sympas , En résumé, tres joli hotel confortable, propre , ideal pour une etape de 48/72 heures

Une seule nuit dans cet hôtel que nous avions repéré l'année dernière.
Séjour à la hauteur de nos attentes, tout fut parfait.
Accueil avec le sourire, personnel disponible à chause instant.
Nous avons pu bénéficier d'un early check-in sans frais supplémentaire.

SPA : soins au spa très agréables pour mon épouse et moi-meme, moment de détente très appréciable.
Piscine intérieure conforme aux attentes.

Chambre : parfaite - confort - silence - espace, le personnel vous la prépare pour la nuit et la literie est vraiment très confortable. Espace bain, douche, toilette séparés.

Petit-déjeuner : continental, ici pas de buffet on vous le sers à table. Possibilité d'avoir des œufs sur demande. Vraiment bon

Bar : lounge, j'ai demandé un cocktail ne figurant pas à la carte et le barman s'est adapté à ma demande, il manquait juste les bons verres sinon rien à redire.

Parking : compris dans le prix de la chambre, détail que j'adore, pas de service voiturier cependant puisque l'hôtel est situé dans les remparts et les parkings sont justes à l'exterieur.

Personnel : disponible à chaque instant et s'enquiert de nos besoins sans trop en faire, c'est vraiment agréable.
Nous avons pu discuter quelques peu egalement avec la propriétaire de l'hôtel qui a pris le temps de faire connaissance avec ses clients, merci.

Chiens : 2 mascottes (nestor et petrus) qui renforce le caractère familial du lieu, adeptes des caresses en tout genre.
