I really lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and service was generally good. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were on the first floor above the restaurant and we were disturbed by the noise of tables and chairs being move around when the restaurant closed and then before breakfast as they were dragged around.

My stay was spoiled by getting a closing Bill that mis-represented the amount i had pre-paid (by more than 50 euros) and also changed the price of the room --- so there were two errors on the bill and i was significantly overcharged. It then took about an hour of my time at reception to sort this out.

there is external door for 208 and 207,
this door are very noisy while other gusts use it.
the TV scree on room was so old and the remote has hard to opperate.

Although we did not have good weather, we enjoyed our one-night stay at the Parkhotel. It is a quiet and charming hotel nestled in a beautiful oasis surrounded by nature. With a stunning view of a lake as its backdrop, gorgeous flower bushes that fill the air with a pleasant aroma and the lovely sound of the wild birds singing in the tall green trees along the walking trail next to the hotel.

Not wishing to pay several hundred Euro per night for an exhibition in Dusseldorf we chose Park Hotel. As it turns out an excellent choice. An impressive looking building, bright and cheerful, as were the staff. Room was a good size, everything clean and in good condition. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom also excellent with a good shower and a seperate bath. I had mentioned the bath towel size being small and after dinner was presented with huge bath towers, top marks for that.
The restaurant was also very good with a good selection from the menu. Breakfast was the best huge choice of fresh food.
Didnt get a chance to try the swimming pool, unfortunately. Maybe next time.

Great location and only five minutes from the motorway, which you can't hear. View of the lake to the rear of the Hotel, is very pleasant, with a terrace restaurant and bar.
Staff were all polite and helpful. Good choice to break your journey.

What a find

I didn't book this hotel on line as I didn't like the look of the place from the photo and the name reminded me of Parkhurst (the prison) I phoned Hotels.com as my chosen one wouldn't take the summer discount and was recommended to Parkhotel Horst as it was near to Floriade. What a suprise! The whole of the back of the hotel looked out onto a lake. There was a lovely bar area and the dinner in the restaurant was fantastic - easily the best of our holiday and quite reasonably priced. There is a tiny but adequate indoor swimming pool but if you go there have a walk round the lake - it's lovely. Breakfast was very good too. Totally recommendable

A wonderful surprise

The Hotel is a surprise in that it looks and offers the kind of stay that you'd expect in a big town. However, situated just off the expressway, and a short drive to the 2012 Floriad, it is easy to find, and offers a classy standard of accommodation and food; the Hotel leaves a memorable and good impression. Overlooking a small lake, with easy walking paths, one is left to wonder, why here? The only qualification is that apart from this property, there is seemingly nothing else nearby other than farms. Unless you were going for total rest or a bike vacation I am not sure what you would do here. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Lovely setting by a big lake, for an early evening stroll.
Good sized room and large wetroom.
We didn't want a big meal, so went for more of a snack in the bar area. Meant to leave a note in the suggestions box, about employing someone to clear up the dirty glasses rather than either leave them on the tables or line them up along the bar. But when we eventually got service in the bar, they performed well.
Great breakfast buffet.
Plenty of parking.
Good , modern hotel, but lacking in a bit of Dutch character for us.We could have been anywhere in the world.

All'arrivo ci danno la chiave, arriviamo in camera e la troviamo sporca, letti disfatti, asciugamani in terra, quindi per scusarci ci hanno assegnato una deluxe vista lago. Molto ampia, non pulitissima, ma vedere l'alba sul lago è bellissimo. Bagni pulito e moderno. In stanza manca il frigorifero. Colazione a buffet discreta, ottima vista anche da qui. Hotel molto rilassante. È stata una meta solo per spezzare il viaggio ma se volete soggiornare a Horst dovete sapere che non offre molto. Meglio stabilirsi a Venray.

Zeer mooi hotel, gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. Zeer mooie kamer met prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Mooie wandeling doorheen de bosrijke omgeving kunnen maken.

Ontbijt was minder, het ontvangst door de dame was niet zo goed, zij zei zo goed als niets en zij verstond ons niet.

Het brood dat mijn echtgenoot nam was niet vers en ook uitgedroogd, weinig keuze. Alsook het broodje met rozijnen was niet vers en heel plat geduwd.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Parkhotel.Eine wunderschöne Umgebung.Die Zimmer sind schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.Zum Beispiel im Bad das Waschbecken (Sprünge bzw.Risse)oder auch das Bett(Federn und Matratze durchgelegen.Trotz allem sehr sauber und der Ausblick vom Zimmer unbeschreiblich 😊👍

Kamers zijn niet erg warm te krijgen ook nogal koud in de badkamer. Sommige delen van de kamer en badkamer zijn niet naar behoren gepoetst. We zien wel dat wordt gepoetst maar een deftige nacontrole zou niet mis zijn om beter te scoren.Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Mooi hotel op handige ligging vlakbij de weg. Nette spa-faciliteiten (helaas waren de sauna's en stoomcabines niet in gebruik). Op de kamer troffen wij enkele defecten aan zoals een ventilator in de badkamer die niet uit kon, een defect koffiezetapparaat en een doucheleiding die erg veel herrie maakte. Al met al een goed verblijf gehad.

Okay hotel. The Food is fine. The staff so so. The swimmingpool area was heated by a very noisy heater that dominated the room. The sauna Area was COLD and the changing facilities were not good and practical. People therefor walked in and out with outdoor shoes in the shower area. There were no hooks and seats in the changing boxes and no towels. This is not up to standard.

Das Zimmer was wir zu erst bekommen haben hat sehr unangenehm gerochen. Die Spender für Seife und Shampoo war leer und die Bettdecke hatte Flecken. Das Zimmer wurde sofort ausgetauscht auch ohne Diskussion. Es steht was von Mini Bar in der Beschreibung des Hotels…. Das stimmt nicht. Sie haben Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer aber kein Wasser dass müssen Sie sich dann im restaurant besorgen 🙄 Das Essen im Restaurant ist Super 👍

The most friendly and helpful staff I have ever experienced. It was really a pleasure and there wasn't a thing they didn't want to help with.
I got help with portable air conditioning, charger for my labtop, etc.
