I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Based on the price, I expected a run-down, dirty place that we would barely tolerate. Instead, it was clean, well-maintained, well-furnished, and totally comfortable. Even their coffee was good. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodging place to anyone! (And you can buy your own breakfast nearby with what you save--and have cash leftover!)

Tub wasn’t draining properly, room smelled
Like marijuana for 2 days. Not satisfied on second week with cleanliness. Things happen, but when I don’t smoke inside and asked to go to a smoking room because of non smoking guests. I expect to come into a clean smelling room. I bring my own plug ins. I travel often and understand everyone is t perfect. But very disappointing after last weeks stay.

I booked on Expedia and nothing said a $40.cash security deposit to check in. I would have lost all my money if I hadn't got the money wired to me cuz I was broke after booking the room... The lady was nasty about it and said I would loose over 160. If I can't get cash.. and after I got the cash set to Walmart and then checked in the walls are paper thin and u can hear everything next door and it sounds like a stomping party upstairs until like 3 am... Ugh I will never stay there again ... If I could rate it a -100 that would be a good rate for it.

The clerk was very friendly and understanding.I booked a few mins after midnight,needing immediate checkin.The date said for“tonight”so I assumed it was for the present moment as in tonight as in right now.I booked,was charged,and headed to the office.The clerk informed me that check in wasn't until 3pm.My confusion came from it being right after midnight.I couldn’t change it or get a refund.I needed a room now,even if it was only for a few hrs.Then I had another problem.I used to stay here years ago when I was in active addiction.Needless to say I had been flagged as a really bad guest.The clerk told me I couldn’t stay.I explained to him that I’m not that person anymore.I told him my story,my accomplishments and how much my life has changed in the past 3yrs of sobriety.He looked at me and said he was gonna give me a chance.He let me stay.I was shocked.It felt good knowing that he wasn’t holding my past against me.He was very encouraging and congratulated me.That meant alot.I told him he didn’t have to worry,I wasn’t gonna cause any problems.First thing I do is check beds.There were NO BEDBUGS on either bed.The walls are thin, there was a big gap at bottom of door that adjoined to the next room.I put a towel in the gap to block noise from neighbors.Comfortable beds, clean sheets.Room needs deep cleaning for sure.Tub was dirty,needs scrubbed.But for the price and treatment from the clerk, I would book again. Our room was not even ready when arrived at 4pm. Was told we had to wait at least 20 minutes. When we got into our room they only had 2 bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths. Called front desk and I had to go down to lobby to receive said towels. WiFi was horrible, took forever to connect and my granddaughters phone never connected.

Bathroom was way too small, the sink was so low it barely reached hip level (I'm 5' 7\"), sheets didn't fit the mattress well so they kept popping off the corners

Despite the negatives I would still recommend especially if you're on a budget.

This was the worst experience I think that me and my wife has ever experienced staying at a hotel. Let's just say that for starters I would recommend that you sleep with your CLOTHES and SHOE$ on! There are definitely infested with BED BUGS ! I can understand perhaps they might had a guest before us bring them there but the chances would be very slim since they actually moved us to another room on different floor after notifying them of the situation. The only thing that did was make the situation worse since the 2nd room that they gave us was even worse not only with having the same problems with bed bugs , there was human feces and urine about the size of a basket ball at the head of the bed along with running down the side of bed frame and floor . After taking several pictures and another trip to front desk office I was able to speak with owner of property and was told that it was after normal business hours and there was nothing he could do ! Told me that they were completely sold out and that the only recommendation he could give us was to remove the comforter and sheets, place them ouside next to our front door and lay some towels over the area on the mattress!!!! I asked him if we could get new comforter and sheets and a few more large bath towels but was told no that laundry was done for the day and that it wouldn't be until tomorrow morning when house keeping came in that we could get our new linens. No joke !! Screw this place stay far away !!!!!!

Door's do not lock. The connecting door to room next door would not lock, moved fridge in front of to help feel more secure? Front door looked as though it had been broken into, the dead bolt lock had been removed. This lock also did not lock so we had to sit office chair in front of at night to feel somewhat more safe? Tissue shoved into eye hole of door, did not touch looked disguisitng. Bathroom looked as though it never been cleaned ever. We did not use shower as it was just that dirty. Lights were outside lights? Bedding had burn holes and smelled horrific. Screaming/fighting was heard all night long. We almost stayed in my truck to feel more safe as I was traveling with my young daughter. She was scared. I will not stay here again, there was nothing nice to say about this stay.

Staff were not nice. They immediately treat you like you're a problem to the property. They do not like out of towners, which is odd becuase Im not sure who else would be staying there. They make you leave a cash deposit. They inspect the room before you can leave and are reluctant to give your deposit back, I had to show that I had detailed video of the room as i entered and upon checking out, which only then did their tone change and my deposit was given back. The staff harrassed me the whole time. As soon as I parked, in a delineated unreserved spot the lady came running out telling me to move my car. She had the excuse that drunk locals would be driving into the lot and run into my car. Then the lady wouldnt let me bring my really nice road bike that doesn't have one flake of dirt on it into my room. She called the room phone as soon as I entered to tell me about the bike, which she then started yelling at me over the phone. She only changed her town when I had expedia rep intervene.
Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else and save yourself from the negative energy at this place. It took me a while to shed the negativity with meditation and finally get to sleep after midnight after a 13 hour long driving day.

They asked for a $40 cash damage deposit, a first for me! The key didn’t work but the girl at the front desk brought me up a new one so I didn’t have to drag my stuff down to the front desk. The towels were very small and the shower spray….wasn’t actually a spray, it came out like a partially blocked hose. It wasn’t adjustable but I pushed the center of it with my thumb and it worked well after. When checking out I was forced to go to the front desk and then wait for a room inspection that I thought took way too long as I even half made the bed and left it pretty much as I got it. My feeling is that is extremely insulting to make me suffer through your insecurity because sometime someone stole one of your miniature towels.

Also you pay online and then you get there to check in they tell you that you gotta pay another 40 cash deposit.Never saw this advertised on Hotels.com. And when you go to check out they’re reluctantly slow to give you your 40 back. Wouldn’t stay here again. Very disappointed.

I was not informed of a Mandatory Cash deposit beforehand. Who does that?? Why do you need a deposit on a prepaid hotel room for one night, almost equal to what I already paid for said roo.?? Orbitz customer service was completely unhelpful and I had no way to get the cash on a Saturday, so I lost my reservation and had to make other arrangements. I will be reconsidering my use of this app in the future.

Also, new mattresses were replaced with brand new pillow tops while I was there ... Which also meant I got a peek under the beds .... Not a speck of dust under there! Very impressed! There is one thing good about this place the bed, it was comfortable, the room the bui6run down pain pealing from the walls and ceiling stains on the walls toilet seat with missing hardware seat falling off, on the door and wall look like some sort of splatter in three different areas, I WILL MOT EVEN START HERE AGAIN, AND I ADVISE ANYONE TO NOT STARY AT THE MOTEL UNLESS ONE HAS NO OTHER CHOICE AND IF THATS THE CASE I THINK SLEEPING IN ONES CAR STILL WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE.

The hotel makes your put a $40 cash deposit for the room. This was not mentioned at the time I booked the hotel. The shower tub and room was dirty. (Dirty walls) Problem 2. Hotel management stated that I had only paid $35 for the deposit when in fact I had a receipt from their atm. Management argued and were adamant that I had only paid $35. I then had to show her where my name and room number was listed in their receipt notebook for the amount of $40. This lady went back and forth with me. Unacceptable.
NEVER AGAIN.
Not worth the price.

I booked this room for the one night for my son after he had to move out of his dorm the day before graduation. When he went to check in, they required a deposit in cash. They would not take a credit card. This was in the fine print, but it was easy to miss this. He did not have the cash and we were over 2 hours away from him. They refused to give him a room, and they also would not refund us. We did not cancel, but since it was the day of check in, they would not refund. Expedia would also not refund, saying it had to come from the hotel. The management staff were rude and not accommodating.

The couple who manage the Legacy Inn were very friendly to us so we would definitely stay here again. If you're only planning on sleeping here and aren't looking for a lot of amenities, then you won't find a better place for the price. My room was clean, wasn't outdated, and I got a good night's sleep for so much less than other places charge.

I’m a pretty simple traveler. I want a clean room and I’m pretty happy with the basics. This place is an older hotel that could use a little TLC but overall it’s a great stay and especially for the price. Front desk at check in was very friendly and to the point— fine for me—I’m tired give me a key and I’ll let you get on with your job. My room was closer to the road and I heard a lot traffic but I’m a heavy sleeper so no problem. They require a $40 CASH deposit at check in and they actually go check your room before you get that back- so don’t be a slob and be respectful of where you’re staying and you’ll have no problem getting your money back. Overall I was pleased and would stay here again. It’s a basic clean and comfortable place to stay.

We were in town because a family member was in the hospital.
I checked in and we were in and out of the room.
When we got back to the room my daughter and grandson went to the store.
I went in the restroom and thought I saw mold growing on one of the walls and I moved the small trashcan by the toilet and there was mold all behind it.
So I went to the office to tell the guy and he came to look and he offered to clean it with bleasch,which does not kill mold,he offered another room right beside the other room and I told him no,my daughter has allergies,so he gave me the 40 dollar deposit I put down on the nasty room and he said I had to get with Expedia to call and talk to him to see about some kind of room refund.
I will only get $27 of the $66 of the room charge.
I do not recommend staying at this place.
Room 111 is the one they put us in.

Anytime I need to stay in a motel, THIS is where I stay. I like staying here and the management are very friendly, helpful and just plain down to earth people, her, her husband and their son are just nice people. I work at a Restraunt down the road and quite a few ppl will ask me about where would be a good place to stay either overnight or a couple nights and HONESTLY, I ALWAYS tell them take a left an go about half mile and you'll see it on your left across from the big Pink Elephant. One guy stays here every 2 weeks when he's laid over for work in Ckvl.
