Room was comfortable and clean however smelt very strongly of cigarettes. We had just got to the hotel after a 24hour travel day and where only there for one night so decided to bed down and sleep however if staying longer would have asked for a different room. Hotel is meant to be non smoking so unsure of why it smelt so strongly.

Good not great. The night girl who checked me in was so kind and nice and helpful. Clean, nice room, just older building and because of that the ambient noise is just loud. The adjacent rooms kids a dog and blaring TV were just alot a little late at night and very early. Which is more about thoughtless people unaware of their surroundings, but a newer building those sounds and also type of people won't be an issue. Great value for what it was. Mostly enjoyed

The room stank - old cigarette smoke.
I arrived with my 16 year old daughter, she got upset and two mins after arriving we left.
Avoid this hotel - absolute disgrace of an establishment.

Quiet Stay.

This hotel is tucked back behind two others so it’s cheaper and quieter. The top 2 floors have already been renovated with first floor in progress. Room was comfy and clean. Shower needs better water pressure but overall it was good. Didn’t eat breakfast as it was too basic with your normal carbs only. Used laundry facilities which were old but worked fine. Location to everything was perfect.

This property- wow. I called and told them I would be a very late check in, so they checked us in and were just to pick up the keys
When we arrived the front desk clerk was lying down on a pallet made on the floor
Took him 10 minutes to find us so he could give us our keys
The room numbers did not match floor numbers
Walked into the room, dirty, dust and dead bugs on the ceiling, toilet seat was peeling
I was there for 5 minutes and had to find a new hotel
I dont care how little it cost, should not be on this site. I would never recommend this property. Not when there are others in the error

The pictures made the breakfast look really nice but it wasn't nearly as big or as good as advertised. We were rather disappointed in that. But the staff and the rooms were great.
It's also rather difficult to find the 1st time.

Floors were filthy. No coffee @ breakfast. Coffeemaker in room didn’t work. TV remote didn’t work. Window shade was broken, unable to look out the filthy window. Elevator and hall traffic was noisy. Stains and chips on walls, carpet and bathroom sink. Shower drained poorly and lacked pressure.

When I called the front desk for help with our tv only having 1 channel. His response was that he didn’t know how to work or use the tvs. Also we had exposed wires in the room. I was with my child very unsafe.

The staff was friendly and our room was clean with comfy bedding. We did have trouble getting the tv to work but other than that it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was mediocre, not a lot of options but it was fine.
The parking lot is complicated to get to and there’s no clear signage from the main road as to where your suppose to go.

We thought it had a pool but did not. The comforter had blood on it. We had them exchange it and the next one had a yellow stain on it. They would not give me a paper receipt and said it would be in my email. So far it is not. I would NOT recommend the hotel. Several people in our group moved to a different hotel because it was too dirty for them and no pool.

Interior was clean and coffee and snacks were always available. The entrance, parking lot and driveway leading up to the actual building is under heavy construction. I found myself driving on dirt, rocks and partial old concrete. In the center of the dirt parking lot was a deep drainage hole partially covered with a steel grade that had been struck and moved partially off the hole. Dangerous situation.

Great comfortable clean room but all the window curtains/shades were missing…they told me that when I checked in but it was only room they had available. Otherwise a pleasant stay. breakfast very good. Really appreciated the paper plates and bowls at breakfast. Maybe get paper cups rather than plastic. Loved the biscuits and sausage gravy. Parking area a mess as they are redoing it. Hard to find access to the property. Staff very friendly and helpful. I’d go back.

Probably won’t stay here again. Rooms were supposed to be cleaned every three days. Never happened. Facility had two house keepers on duty. Had to go to the desk to get towels, shampoo, and toilet paper a few times. The room was good sized; however, they need to work with a different construction company if they ever upgrade the facility. The fitness center had a universal weight machine that was broken and probably a safety hazard. Both treadmills needed maintenance. It worked for a ten day stay to clear my mother’s final affairs. You get what you pay for. Complimentary breakfast was okay. If you stay in Cookeville, eat two light meals. Most of the restaurants offered calorie-dense meals exceeding a 1,000 calories each. Tasted great, but was probably not good for your heart or circulatory system. If you plan on visiting check other options. You get what you pay for.

Staff were friendly but our experience was not good. We were given a room at check in and upon entering it was a mess.. bed not made... towels in floor.. etc. had to go back to get another room. Upon entering our second room towels on the bathroom counter and pillow in chair like a staff had conveniently taken a break in that room. We had to have our key card reactivated every night. Parking was free but a big inconvenience because there were only a few spaced on the property and we had to park in the lot next door. Will not stay there again.

This hotel is ok the beds were comfy the chair is like sitting on a rock, the parking lot is very small, they are tearing down other hotels right next to it so you can’t come in on the street you are supposed to. It’s confusing to figure out how to get to it. But the people are nice. Overall I’d give it a 5 out of 10, because of parking and construction!
