It's about what youd expect for $50 a night. They require a $100 deposit for your stay. They tried to take it twice from me at check in and double chagred me for my room. Spent 15 minutes going back and forth with the owner because of this. They tried blaming expedia. Cleanliness was subpar- blankets had stains, tub had hair in it. Floors had food crumbs. Little patio was nice. Water barely gets warm in the shower. Housekeeping staff was still cleaning rooms at 3 pm and had dirty linens thrown in the hallway floors. Hotel is non smoking but smelt heavily of cigarettes and weed. Staff cant control what guests do, but the hallways were very loud until about midnight with people slamming doors and yelling. Beds were extremely firm. Was supposed to stay 2 nights but dipped out early. Its outside of cookeville so traffic isnt bad, but you will hear sirens all night on I40.
Its a place to crash and you get what you pay for.

I,m Originally from Daytona BEACH FL AND for the past two yrs I've always used this location bc it's always peaceful and No one bothers you in the halls =they updated lots of stuff including At least 6to 8 locations to do laundry and machine are only 1*50 1*00Soo much cheaper than any other place I*ve stayed.I did have a. I checked into my room and soon realized it was not up to Baymont Wyndham standards. I’ve stayed at two separate locations and they were great.
The lamps were completely rusted, there was a plastic grocery bag over the smoke detector, the paint on the walls was chipped off, plastic front from the ac unit was broke off, there were ants, the bed spread was wrinkled. It didn’t give me warm and cozy vibes. It felt gross.
I immediately asked for a refund, I was told to come to the front desk and was told I would get a refund after calling Expedia. Which I did immediately and then I received an email saying the hotel would not refund me.
I DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel.

The room was wide Open when I arrived, I proceeded to open the door and then I was hit with cigarette smoke and some other substance someone was already staying in my room, then man looked homeless.

On top of that there were roaches on the walls, and the whole building was just disgusting.

They tried to hold my deposit from me when I told them I wanted my money back. Then I called corporate and they wouldn’t help me either.

The room was clean , the housekeeper was great, got new towels and cleaned up every day. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. Really for the money it was way better place than i deserved. No odors. It is not quite a 3 star hotel . However for a 2 star hotel i give it 5 stars. If it claims to be a 3 star place id only give it 3 stars. Maintenence would have to be better and a hot breakfast with eggs sausage and fruit would have to be there.

We booked our room for two for king bed and booked thru Expedia. I have had good experience with Expedia bookings and Wyndham and Baymont have a good name So we booked with Expedia.
We even checked in online prior to arriving at the property and we even gave our arrival time and we came at 9.30 pm.
The lobby was closed for safety reasons and we understand that.
But the check in lady was most incompetent and seem as though she was struggling with the booking. She made all three of us wait outside the lobby in a tiny foyer.when we asked her what the problem was after she fidgeted around on the computer, she said she is making sure the rooms are not dirty😩 so I said you know we have reserved rooms paid for and you don’t know if the rooms are clean? She made us wait for 35-40 minutes and then disappeared. Apparently to check the rooms. Arrived 10 mins later and said that we have two queen beds bedroom with no extra charge.
So went to the room. Room was not that fresh but we were tired and took her word for it that the room was clean. Well one bed was ok the other one looked as though some one had not bothered to put fresh sheets. It was a bit dirty on top yellow piece for the door of the bed. Balcony was dirty. The balcony was dirty.
The bathroom was with toilet cistern cover cracked and patched up. 😡😡😡 WIFI DID NOT WORK
WE COMPLAINED BUT THEY JUST SAID SORRY.
We never saw any cleaning staff.
Will never book there again. Horrible experience

Property and room looked way better on the website. Although the room was moderately clean it was in heavy disrepair. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator and three flights of stairs including the ones to get into the building. The hallway smelled like musty smoke and the rooms also had an odor even though we asked for a no smoking room. Our first room had bed bugs so we asked for another room. Second room appeared to be bug free.

So far I have seen 2 bugs crawling around.
They can see I'm an older man and put me on the second floor without asking me. She didn't say it was upstairs. I just didn't feel like going back to the desk. I just called the front desk at 930 pm No Answer. I was going to give them a chance to explain. Definitely not recommend

This was a dingy, dilapidated, bug infested, nightmare. I made the mistake of trying to sleep in the bed and woke up with bites on my feet and legs. I pulled back the sheets to see if I could find bedbugs. I could not see them, but the bites came from something. There was animal hair around the sheets at the foot of the bed. I immediately showered and gathered up my things and left the room at 2:10 AM. I dropped the key and tried to see if the night manager would give me a refund but he refused. He offered no apologies and no solutions I will request that my credit card company Pull back the payment.

The Hotel is very old. It needs some updating and is under staffed. The Breafast is ceareal waffle juice yoguart and Coffee. No oatmeal Bgels or fruit or grain free or sugerfree or eggs for dia betics! Also on hotel.com the handicapp room is not offered and there is up charge $25 more and for dogs $20 so this place was a lot more than exspected. Managent was very polite and will fix a problem asap himself if needed!

The motel was a bit dated but very comfortable and clean, with exception to the ceiling vent which had dirt and mold on it. I was disappointed that they would not recognize my dogs support animal paperwork. I was, however, glad that they accepted dogs. Pre check-in was very efficient.

Awful! Dont stay or bring your own blankets and cleaning supplies! There are cheaper and cleaner hotels just a little farther down the road.
We drove in Labor day got there around 11. I was exhausted after driving 13 hours. Check in was fine they wanted a $100 deposit in addition to the room amount. I paid in cash because they said it would take 7-10 days to go back on my card. We went up to our room. The hallway was dark and sketchy. Walked in and immediately checked for bed bugs. It passed the inspection. I noticed some dark stains on the coverlet but the sheets were fine so i tossed the blanket in the floor and passed out didnt take photos. Got up at 5 to shower and that's when we discovered how NASTY it really was. We know that its supposed to be done fast but sheesh. The vent over the toilet was solid fuzz. The shower curtian was cloth and torn with stains. Black ash smudges in the shower on top of the soap container and mildew on the tile. After showering i used my rag just to see if the mildew and ash came off, and it did. Someone didnt even try. I wore my slippers and socks in the room bc the floors were crazy sticky. If i hadnt been so tired i probably would have changed hotels but i didnt think i could make it another one or even wait to get a different room. We went to check out and the guy runs up, looks at our room blames us for the stains and tries to keep the $100. My mom explains. He gives it back and then charges my card 2 days later. DONT STAY HERE

Our first room was filthy and under construction.Then when we asked to move to another room as the shower was filled with construction debris they told us if we messed with they beds they will charge us a cleaning fee. Then when we asked for more towels they said they would deliver to room next day if we really needed them. We weee a family of six and only three towels were in room so yes we needed them. The next morning we all tripped on the hazardous stairs that had aluminum edge and loose tile. The breakfast was a joke. There were twinkies and hostesses cupcakes and stale cereal that’s it. What a shame beautiful location but horrible nasty place.

The Bad: Lots of Mold, room stank, flies and roaches, remote batteries died, poor water pressure in shower, ringer on phone did not work, pillows were limp.

The Good: A/C unit goes below 65 ! Very nice and accommodating staff. Great coffee. Staff offered to change my room out. Bed was wonderful.

Our room was difficult to find, and after finally finding it, the key wouldn't open the door, after going back to the lobby to get the key reprogrammed, it did open the room but couldn't access the fitness room. And when I went to use the coffee maker the water just leaked out everywhere. It was clean the desk guy was nice and the pool looked nice. But it was just a subpar experience. So my rating is just okay.

Well, when we checked in the front desk staff gave me our room key, went upstairs to put stuff in the room and it was already occupied by others, went back to the front desk and told her and she was very nonchalant about it. I informed her that it could of been a very bad situation walking in on people in their room. The room had a few repairs that was done was not complete,the toilet was very far away from the wall, water pressure in the shower was very low. Breakfast options was a joke. The good thing about it was their is a Mexican restaurant next door.

After after having had a hard day of driving it was such a blessing to come to a place I didn’t realize it was the same place I’ve been before it has a wonderful Mexican restaurant by it but I had one of the closest rooms that had been redone and the bed was amazing And I literally crashed and I wish they opened earlier and had coffee going but it was overall well worth it and more than worth it

I checked in around 1am. I stood in the lobby for 10 minutes alone while the employee was in the bathroom blasting a porn on his phone. Finally I yelled hello and he said one minute. The building wasn’t very clean. The tv in the room didn’t have a remote. The towels wouldn’t even wrap fully around a person. You get what you pay for and I guess that’s why this was one of the cheaper ones in the area.

I am not used to going to a hotel and not being able to walk in the lobby at night (not a bad thing) but we checked in through a plexiglass which was really easy and convenient. The view from our room, as we had a patio, was gorgeous so being able to look at the sunset and the mountains at night and sunrise in the morning was incredible. The breakfast food is not anything special, there wasn't any fresh fruit or eggs which was a little disappointing. The outdoor pool was nice to swim around in. I think the only real complaint I had was the water pressure in the shower and tub was basically nonexistent. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

The room was clean and all was well until the morning time and there was no water at all. Well, there was water in the sink, but with low pressure, unable to shower unable to flush the toilet. I understand it wasn’t the motel’s fault but they did not even consider any kind of compensation, even though the whole purpose was to be able to shower for work I could’ve easily stayed in my van overnight

We needed a place to sleep for the nigh, arriving late and leaving early. The hotel is clean, close to I-40 and has a basic breakfast with cold cereals, coffee, other cold breakfast items and a waffle maker. The price was reasonable for a double room. The parking lot is well lighted and felt safe. I would stay here again.

The employees were hostile and lied about their policies. I don't care what their signs said, I was told my bank card would only be preauthorized for a deposit and then canceled when they inspected my room. No one would actually inspect my room because it wasn't a cash deposit. The charge actually went thru. Now I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund. Night clerk asked me 3x if I had pets and reaffirmed their pet policy. I don't even have pets! The breakfast area was under video surveillance with signs everywhere telling to so. I guess they were worried about someone stealing their Hostess cakes and yogurt, because that was practically all they had besides dry cereal. When I called today about the charge on my account, Kelly told me I would have to wait 7-10 days for my refund and hung up on me. Hostile employees and pathetic accommodations. Yes, I did reach out to Baymont directly with no response.

We were give an unclean room with bare mattresses & trash. Gross! The front clerk apologized but was not friendly about it. When it took a fair amount of time to get us new keys & l suggested we get our money back, she got rude. There were no carts for luggage & only stairs. Not ADA accessible. Floors were gross & bathroom smelled like urine.
