The location was convenient, but the self check-in process was frustrating and more complicated than it needed to be.
The room had a strong musty smell that reminded us of mould and old socks, which made our stay much less comfortable than expected. I wonder if moisture had entered the room at some point. If have asthma, don't stay here. There were also a lot of mosquitoes inside the property, making it difficult to relax, especially at night.
Unfortunately, we also experienced an issue with an older fixture that failed during normal use. We believe it was already at the end of its service life, but we were initially asked to pay a very high replacement cost. While the staff remained polite and professional throughout our communication, they were quite inflexible and it took many emails before a lower settlement was eventually accepted.
Overall, the accommodation did not meet our expectations. The condition of the room, the difficult self check-in process and the way the maintenance issue was handled meant we would not choose to stay here again.
