The bed for a double room was a single bed and the bathroom had the worst smell imaginable and was as if there was waste clogged up no matter how many times you flushed it or had the fan on. Super outdated would never stay again and recommend avoiding!

The room was so small that I was suffocating. The room was humid and hot that I couldn't find an air conditioner, so I asked the desk and they said there was no air conditioner and it was cool when I opened the window. Hotel rates are not cheap, but I was speechless about this kind of idea. Don't go to a hotel like this again. Hotel dotcom also has a problem. I think we should take a good look at these hotels and recommend them

Nothing not good at this hotel except the size of the room. As usuall, hotel's room in Japan is very small. Only suit with hand carry baggage for one person. Room is clean. Found black mould at toilet top though.

I didn't know that the beds were going to be on the floor. I didn't like that, the hotel seemed older but the room was fine. I would have like to see a better view than just the street but walking to shops and the local train station was easy. I even walked to see the gundam statue which was great!

Good hotel but some flaws.

For the price and a place to stay I would recommend. Only con for me was that the room was way smaller than I expected. For a couple, space was too small. The bed was ok comfortable and pillows were so so. If you just need a clean place to sleep I would recommend. If you have a whole family and luggage find a bigger place.

Convenient location close to a convenience store and the train station. When I first arrived, my room was pretty dusty and smelled of smoke. I asked for room service the next day and they quickly offered to change my room altogether. No issues with the second room. Luggage storage available. Shuttle to train station available. Would stay again.

This property was ok. The staff were friendly but otherwise the condition of the building is a bit run down. The biggest thing was that it was noticeably more dirty than any other japanese hotel we've stayed in. It seems like the cleaning standard is not high here. Also the clean towels we got smelled bad which was unpleasant. Overall it was fine for a couple of nights and the shuttle to the station was nice.

平日の日中は部屋で仕事をしていたので
掃除に入ってもらわなかったのですが
毎日タオルやアメニティ類はドアの前に
置いておいてくださるので快適でした。

博多駅やバスターミナルからとても近く
駅ビルを抜ければ、ホテルの案内表記よりも
体感 短い時間で着きます！

コーヒーがインスタントのみで
ロビーに置いてあるのを持っていく形式なので
少し残念でしたが
同じくロビーにある紅茶の種類が豊富だったので
そちらを楽しませていただきました。

Incredible location near some of city’s old temples and Hakata Station. However, incredibly limited laundry facilities with inefficient machines so it took me over three hours to do one load of laundry. Staff charged me an extra 200 yen accomodation tax which is usually charged when I have paid online beforehand. The walls are thin as the neighbouring rooms with other tourists were loud and they smoked in the room (which was prohibited). Below average for Japanese standards and the price.

Yamato San and Ukeda San, Managers at the hotel were extremely attentive and took great care in making our stay memorable and comfortable. My wife and I have ‘best in class’ memories of our stay and we are looking forward to our return visit on 1 June

The room is very small, but we knew that going in. It’s clean, the water pressure was great, bed is comfortable enough, the property itself doesn’t look old, overall no complains.
The location is amazing, with a convenient store right across the street from the property and within 5mins walking from one of the city’s main train station Hakata.

A little dated, but good location and price.

The hotel is centrally located near Hakata station, so we used it because of an early flight the next day. The hotel itself is a little worn, but the room was comfortable and the service was good. We were really happy with the relatively early check in compared to other hotels. Would definitely stay again.

Had to stay here for a night while passing through Hakata. Was a decent place to stay. Rooms were a bit dated but comfortable, clean, and functioning. Wifi was not good. Very close to Hakata station and walking distance from restaurants and shopping.

Yamakasa overnighter

I needed a place within walking distance of Kushida Shrine.
This hotel is just around the corner from Jotenji, perfect.
Smooth check-in in the afternoon, I left at 2 am and my son checked out around 4:30 am so he could see the Asayama of Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival. He forgot to get a receipt. The morning clerk realised this and called my mobile. They mailed the receipt to my home address, no probs.

The location is near the train station but I had a little difficulty finding the hotel at night in the rain. I knew rooms would be smaller in Japan but it was a little culture shock on how compact the rooms were but it was nice and clean for an older hotel. The staff was very nice and I was able to get transportation to the station which was much appreciated since I had heavy luggage.

I think this hotel is great and it was truly for everyone. I had a very comfortable stay after such an extensive flight from the states. Although the staff was only able to partially understand what i was saying they tried their hardest to communicate with me and make sure my needs as a guest were met. Upon my arrival I was helped with my luggage and it was taken to my room for me. When I walked into the room it was effecient and clean. It may have been small, so I might not reccomend booking only one room if you have children, but it was very comfortable. A plus to this hotel was the alarm clock was very easy to operate because I know that is not the case at most hotels. Also if you may forget an item they have everything that you can think of from hair ties to shampoo and conditioner. They make sure that you have everything you will need to prepare for the next day.Even as I was leaving they made sure that they found the best cab and assisted me on my way out. I would also like to remind anyone who is traveling to Japan that you need a converter for anything that is three pronged electronic because all things in Japan are two. They are very in Japan they can be found at the 100 yen stores, but incase you do not have time in Japan I suggest buying before hand.

チェックインで訪れたときにフロントロビーがかなりタバコの匂いがしていたので第一印象は正直良くありませんでした。今回は本館ではなくスタッフが常駐しないワンルームマンションタイプの別館だったのも少し心配でしたが、実際のところサービスは丁寧で、部屋も清潔で、かなりきちんと清掃されていてとても快適でした。満足しています。

風呂の換気扇のカバーに埃がたくさんついていた。水道の蛇口の金具の周りに茶色くなった水垢がびっしり付いていた。そうじを頼まないとタオルなどをドアの外に置いておいてくれるのはありがたかったが、毎回ブラシなど消耗しないものも入れてあって無駄が多いと思った。トイレの便座が便器と合っていなかった。

博多駅から歩いて、５、６分。朝８時から夜８時までなら、無料送迎してくれるので、重い荷物を持っているとき嬉しいサービスだ。到着時、駅に迎えを頼むときは事前に電話をかける。

客室には、冷蔵庫、湯沸かしポットがあり、アメニティも一通りはそろう。トイレはシャワートイレ。タオルはホテルの頭文字のロゴが縫い付けてあって、高級感を感じさせた。

This hotel is absolutely worth recommending!
The environment is excellent, with clean and well-maintained rooms. The design is simple yet comfortable, making it a very relaxing stay. The service was also outstanding – staff were polite, helpful, and attentive, whether it was during check-in or answering our questions. The location is very convenient as well, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and easy access to transportation.

Overall, this hotel provided a fantastic experience, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

博多駅博多口から10分ぐらいのところと少し駅から遠いですが、大変清潔感がありスタッフの方々も教育も行き届いておりチェックインからチェックアウトまで気持ちよく過ごす事ができました。また九州に行った際利用したいと思います。

観光で利用

博多駅から徒歩10分程度でアクセスしやすく、部屋の広さは一般的なビジネスホテル程度でしたが、清潔で匂い等の気になる点はありませんでした。チェックアウト後も快く荷物を預かっていただけたので、手ぶらで観光に行くことが出来ました。また機会があれば利用したいと思います。
