Best hotel in terms of nearness and convenience to JR Hakata Station. Not big and elegant but has everything you need and reasonably priced. Safe, clean, Family Mart next door, polite staff and AC works great.
Room had two beds, a couch, desk, great smelling toiletries plus they provide amenities some hotels don't or you'd need to pay for them ie toothbrus etc.

We stayed here for 2 nights, before flying to South Korea. The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from the train station and there is an airport shuttle bus just a few steps from the hotel door. It's just so convenient for everything!

We had the corner twin room which was spacious for us, and the bathroom was roomy with a bathtub and sufficient floor space. The toiletries and hair dryer were lovely. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Location is fabulous, within 5 min walking distance to Hakata station and also the bus terminal. Lastly, the staff were nice - from the reception to the cloak room to the breakfast ladies. Will be happy to stay here again.

A great hotel in Fukuoka

This is a Japanese business style hotel. It has a lot of amenities. The room itself is a little bigger than your average APA hotel room which is great; its pretty spacious for a Japanese hotel. The staff is polite and helpful, and there are two laundry rooms available. Its also right next to Hakata station; which is Fukuoka's main station.

Great location and quiet

The hotel was extremely well located for the airport and Hakata Station. The room was quiet and comfortable which is important to me. For me, I wasn’t impressed with the western breakfast , as it was the same for 3 days and whilst the quality was good, it simply wasn’t western in my eyes. However, this was a relatively minor thing. Very good overall.

The best location for the price.

We stayed here before and we would do it again. The hotel is so close to the Hakata Station and the breakfast is a perfect to start your day. Rooms are typical Japanese small but the price is excellent.

2 mins from Hakata station, loads of foodie restaurants nearby, department stores & shopping mall nearby.
Very close to airport, I took taxi under ¥2000 from hotel to airport.
But, bear in mind, the room was pretty small esp if you have more than one big check in baggage with you.

I stayed at the Mars Garden because of reviews from others. It lived up to its reputation! The rooms were clean and decent sized for Japan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out is so easy. It is very close to Hakata station. There are 3 combini 1-3 minutes away.

We stayed in a Triple room for 6 nights. The room is small even it is a triple room. The cleanliness was really bad, can't believe it is in Japan. This is the first time I feel bad in term of cleanliness of a hotel in Japan. The rubbish was still in the same place, the hair in still on the floor when we came back at night. I don't think they have done the cleaning, not even using a vacuum cleaner or cloth. Talked to the staff, no improvement and their staff doesn't understand English, I need to type in Google Translate App and show them in Japanese to express what I mean.
Location is good as it is near Hakata Station. The breakfast was not ok too. Last time I stayed in

Everything was going well except when it came to the service of the staff. The people at the front desk barely spoke English and were not very helpful. During the last day of our stay, I asked one person in the front desk to store something in the freezer because it needed to be frozen and she replied that it was okay as long as it is within the day as we have already checked out. I came back a few hours later only to discover that it was not placed in the freezer but in the luggage area with all the other bags (it was in an eco bag). They did not even apologize and stared at me blankly as if they didn’t know what to do.

Had a great stay at this hotel. It’s very convenient as it’s right next to the station. It’s a bit hard to find as it’s tucked in between other places and easy to miss. Although the room is on the smaller size, it’s decent compared to a standard Japanese hotel. The rooms are recently renovated which more than makes up for the size. Staff is good. Overall a great stay in a great city.

Close to Hakata JR station and bus terminal, easy transportation. By taxi from airport to hotel only need to pay around JPY1400, very reasonable. Room very small and window only several feet away from wall of next building, so no outside view and no sunlight...... Bathroom need more cleaning. Very friendly hotel staff and English okay to communicate.
Breakfast okay and quite delicious.

room is clean and nice. you shall not consider if carry a large luggage as there will be insufficient space to open your luggage. otherwise, everything is good. i did not take on the breakfast buffet but i reckon the price is reasonable 1100Yen. free coffee provided at lobby all day long, that's the best thing if you want to save your breakfast money but buying your own bread and drink the free coffee.

Location is great, just 3 mins walk to Hakata Station with many convenience stores and cafes nearby. Free coffee and ice are available.
The room is nice and clean with many power points for charging, there is even a bathtub that I could enjoy a nice hot bath after a day of walking! Free Wifi is consistent in the room.
It would be even nicer if there is a safe in the room and allow early check-in which is less than an hour from check-in time.

2名限定のセミダブルを女性2人で利用しました！
小柄なのでちょうど良かったです。
部屋全体は少々狭い感じはしましたが、可もなく不可もなく過ごせました。
大浴場などはないので、部屋のお風呂でしたが快適に宿泊させていただきました！
フロントでいただいたホットアイマスク、凄く癒されました。嬉しかったです！
