The hotel was a bit dated and the room and carpet had cigarette smell. But the location was great. Hakata station was in front of the hotel as well as the taxi and bus terminals. There's also a tax free shop beside the hotel selling souvenirs and stuff at a lower price than donki. The hotel staff were kind and very helpful which made up for what the hotel lacks. Will definitely stay here again.

It is conveniently located in front of Hakata Railway Station. The room was small but it is good because this is what I got for what I paid for. Check in was done with a self-check-in machine but this machine was ill-designed and couldn't complete without help of the staff. Entering my name and address with a touch pen was a challenge.
The room was clean but the facilities were old. So A/C fan and bathroom fan were noisy. WiFi was occasionally disconnected.
Free coffee and free amenities in the lobby were great. Overall, my experience in this hotel was just a par but without troubles. Considering the low price, the hotel is a bargain.

The room was terribly hot. The ventilation system seemed to have broken down completely. We opened the window but the room was still stuffy and hot. Even the hotel lent us a fan, it did not help much. We endured the night with bad quality of sleep.

Hotels in Japan have heating system on through winter, but never have we experienced such extreme heat. When one steps out from the elevator into the floor we stayed on (9/F of Block 3), the heat felt overwhelming right away.

Hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from hakata station. There’s an underground entrance right next to hotel. For people coming in from the airport via subway, access to hotel is very convenient as it’ll be a short walk to the exit next to hotel. Unfortunately, exit has no escalators, so those with big luggage and not willing to walk up the stairs, you would have to exit via the main station (Shinkansen). Room was clean, small though for single room.

Clean and Convenient Hotel Near Hakata Station

I was first impressed by the cool check-in machines. A staff member walked me through the process and was friendly and professional. Room was totally comfortable and clean and the location was amazingly convenient. No complaints, especially for the price. Thank you for making me feel welcomed and comfortable!

Sunlife Hotel 2 and 3 is very good hotel. Just across from Hakata station only 5 mins. This location is very easy to go anywhere , many coffees shop , resturant , souvenir etc. The Staff are very welcome , only some can not understand english , I asked for adapter 2 pin (I prepared 3 pin) he didn't understand , leave me and talk to the other guest. And Wifi very slow. But overall are good , please listen and improve , thank you to make us

it's my second time to stay at this hotel. the location is quite convenient and the beds are so comfortable. they use shiseido products for shampoo and soaps. free wi-fi and it's very fast. the downside, most rooms don't have city views and you're facing the other building or stairs. staff are very friendly and its clean! very nice...

We booked two room. Both non-smoking room. But one room has a clear smoking smell. Both rooms have really bad air circulation and are very stuffy. The warm air is centrally controlled. So we cannot switch it to cool air conditioning. We were forced to open the window. However, there are some construction work during the night time. We didn’t sleep well.

The pillow is not a cotton pillow. It is those pillow filled with plastic tube. Overall, it is not a comfortable hotel. I wouldn’t recommend.

the hotel is very near Hakata station. Just drop your luggages off and have a great time exploring the areas around. the rooms are average size with the bathroom a bit confined and cramped, could be a problem with somebody claustrophobic. pillows and bed very comfortable. no pocket wifi. given the price per night it is great value for money considering its very good location.

I made a reservation for a room with 2 twin bed. The beds were very comfortable. The washroom is tiny, but has everything. Hot water comes out smoothly the bath tub is quite deep, so you can enjoy a long bath. Wi-fi is quite fast and efficient. Staff are friendly. Especially the housemaids who made sure your room was clean and will greet you with a smile every time you bump into them. The room was quite comfortable. Tv, only Japanese programs are available. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant serves 3 choices - 2 Japanese style and one Western option. However, not many outlets available to charge your devices. At the lobby, they have a lot of maps and tourist information pamphlets. The hotel is right across hakata station, which is underneath the amazing amu plaza. However, may be difficult to find as the building itself has a lot of ads and the hotel name is written in Japanese. Getting to the airport by bus takes 20 mins, but by train to the domestic terminal takes 5-10mins, with a free shuttle bus to the international terminal. The hotel location is excellent with a lot of choices of restaurants and shops. There is cinema and a bowling alley nearby. Also a lot of massage parlours everywhere. I would definitely come back to this hotel again.

Functional & clean hotel near Hakata Staion

The service staff, though, limited in English, were very helpful and the room was clean but tiny. Toilet was immaculate with a hot, strong pressured shower. Soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser is a better idea than miniature bottled ones, in my opinion. Mattress was very comfortable. Complimentary sachets of tea and coffee can be found in the lobby - so take what you would like and bring it up to the room. The bus stop for the bus to the airport is 2 min from the hotel.

Great location w/ tiny room, even tinier bathroom.

You absolutely cannot beat the location of this hotel. Situated directly across from Hakata Station, it is an easy two minute walk to the lobby. You also have direct access to the bus line on the same street and an abundant supply of taxis in front of the hotel.

Check-in was a very simple process. It was completed entirely in English. Room keys were in hand in about 90 seconds*.

*Note: by law, hotel must make a photocopy of your passport if you are a foreign traveler. This process takes less than 60 seconds.

There are no room access cards. You get an old school key. You get one key. This may be relevant for groups with multiple travelers.

Once inside, the size of the room may shock you. There is a bed, a desk, and a fridge, all packed into a very tight space. There is no additional room for anything more than a small carry-on bag and maybe a backpack. It is cramped in there.

The room was not what I would call comfortable, but it got the job done.

The bathroom/shower setup is tiny. You will likely need to lean against the wall to use the toilet in comfort. There is very little room to work with. The shower is terrifyingly small. The ceiling is about 6'6\" tall. The tub is so miniscule that my shoulders touched the wall and the curtains when I faced the shower head.

If you are tall, large, and/or traveling with luggage, this hotel may not be for you.

If you want a cheap hotel within walking distance to Hakata Station, this hotel is a winner.

Anyway it was smoke room so i didnt expect BUT it was terrible the reek of stale tobacco i couldnt bear being in so i tried keeping out there then just back to the room when i could be enough fall to sleep quick then i checked out as soon as woke up

一過馬路就是眾多一日旅行團的集合地點Lawson
和前往福岡機場國際線的巴士站
酒店旁邊還有大國藥妝
唯一美中不足就是酒店早餐只有日式和洋式兩款定食
每天款式都是一樣
要是住的時間比較長
難免會感到有點生厭

とにかく駅の目の前で利便性が最高。ロビーのコーヒーマシンがいつでも利用できるのは嬉しい！特にカフェオレがとても美味しかったです。
アメニティも豊富で、必要な物だけ取れるのは良かった。
ただ、部屋のコンセントが少なく、ベッドサイドになかったのが不便でした。
総合的にはとても満足で、また次の機会にも利用させて頂きたいです！

喫煙ルームでしたがめちゃくちゃ臭くて
布系の持ち物に匂いがうつりまくりました
家に帰ってスーツケースを開けて匂いにうんざりしました
空気清浄機も置いてありましたがそれも臭くて、禁煙ルームでそれを使用したら逆に空気が汚くなるのでは？と思いました
せめて空気清浄機はちゃんとしたものを置いて欲しかったです

올때마다 이곳에 머무는데 조식은 이용해보지않아 모릅니다

バスタブは通常より広くとても快適です。
室内も清潔感があり、部屋や広さも充分です。コンセントやUSB接続コンセントもたくさんあり、ケーブルも室内にあるので、とても快適で便利でした。駅からも近く、コストパフォーマンスは非常にいいと思います。

スタッフの態度が不愉快で2度と泊まらない

システムの変換で間違えたとの事で、苗字が間違えて登録されていてチェックインに時間がかかった。
苗字を伝えているのに、ホテル側で登録されている苗字を正として話され、不愉快だった。
お客様の名前を間違えるということはあってはならない事だと考えるが、一切の謝罪もなかった。
2度と泊まらない。

位置超讚！一出站就可以看到飯店了，很好找！但窗戶看出去就是大樓～
在預訂房間時加購早餐是最划算的，現場加購的價格高很多！
採用自助報到機，但櫃檯人員仍會熱心給予協助，不用太擔心！櫃檯會給您一個硬幣以投入行李櫃置放行李，並請保管好鑰匙！
櫃檯前方有備品可以自行取用，環保且不浪費為原則，有入浴劑非常有趣！
房間寬敞乾淨，床鋪也很舒適，入住期間滿寧靜的，能好好休息。雖然是禁菸房，但每次進房時都有煙味，需要開空調運轉一下才會散去。
