The hotel is in a really convenient location close to Hakata Station. Although the hotel itself is on the smaller side, the room is clean and spacious enough for a solo traveler. The staff are really efficient, welcoming and courteous. The amenities on offer are good and they have a laundry facility available for use. The breakfast on offer is good and is enough to start your day. They also have a lounge next to reception where you can eat and relax which is really great.

Can’t beat this location. Family Mart right across the street and Lawson one block away. Staff are super friendly! Breakfast is ok with a different variety of bread along with coffee every morning. 5 min walk to JR Hakata station and the Lawson that most Day Tours meet there. I cant have a complain about that. There may be one issue which I don’t have too much time to spend at the hotel since too much to do in Fukuoka and surrounding area!!!!

Second time staying here. Within walking distance of Hakata station which was a plus for us and offered self laundry services (please note laundry sheets have to be purchased separately). Love having potage soup directly from the hot drink station and their lobby also offers cold lemon water all day.

Great and convenient stay in the heart of Fukuoka, closely located to Hakata station so very easy to get around. Staff were helpful and check in was very easy. Very light breakfast of various different breads and juice/coffee in the morning was provided free of charge which was a lovely touch and great for something quick before you get out into the city.

Very tiny room and inadequate breakfast

Hakata and Fukuoka are well worth visiting. However this hotel was quite problematic due to the room size being tiny - even by Japanese standards. Also the included breakfast was just bread rolls with drinks, with no gluten free options. Admittedly we spent very little time in the room. I also felt that it was not very close to the Shinkansen exit (despite its name), so the room size, limited breakfast and location should all be taken into consideration. Despite the aforementioned limitations, it is still recommended to come to this hotel if it helps to achieve your travel objectives. Like all Japanese hotels the staff are friendly and it was clean.

Nice hotel right by the main station. Very convenient to get around. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Some negatives. We booked a non smoking room, and confirmed this whilst checking in. However we were put on floor 6, which is the only floor with the smoking area. The corridor smells of smoke, and so did our room, and unsurprisingly could hear a lot of smokers coughing horrendously. We asked to change rooms, and the staff allowed us to straight away, which was great. As for the free continental breakfast, it is only bread/rolls, I feel this should be specified.

Overall though nice place to stay.

The walls are thin and I can hear machinery running all night long, voices are easily heards. A lot of foreigners staying here who are super noisy unlike Japanese who are quiet except when they are drunk. Staff these days are slow service and don't communicate clearly.

The staff was all professionals and understood the good customer service. However, the public bath has no sign of “please refrain of using phone inside the public bathroom”

I was taking a shower some foreigner just using her phone while in the shower, where everyone was naked. I would understand that if she was alone but there is other people who is taking a shower as well. Also, it would be nice if they put slipper rack on public bathroom because somebody can just take your slippers.

Overall the location was easy very convenient.

This is my second stay at this property and I am truly appalled by the dramatic change within 1 year. The upkeep of the rooms has gone downhill. We found several flies in our room. We were put on the floor with a smoking area that is not well monitored as many guests leave the door open while they smoke; the smell quickly filled our room.
When we expressed this concern, we were met an indifferent attitude by the front desk staff that told us “so what”. Another staff member jumped in and offered to change our room; which again was filled with flies.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel any longer.

Hidden gem of convenience and clean!!

Conveniently located within a few minutes walk from Hakata station and Canal City with public bath, as well as having great local eateries and Izakayas (drinking restaurants) was an added plus! Not to mention the hotel was absolutely spotless and the hoteliers were very courteous. Will definite consider staying again in the near future.

The gentlemen at the front desk was wonderful. He assisted us with information on the airport subway and answered all questions. All of the staff was wonderful. A nice free light breakfast with jam and bread and juice or coffee. There is evena sauna available. The subway is less than a 5 minute walk.
Don't believe the reviews which said you can walk there in 15 minutes..at least not with kids or heavy luggage.
We enjoyed the beds..they are not soft. After a long day and sore backs, the beds were amazing!
Also they have a laundry room..¥200 a load and ¥100 to dry for 30 min. Bring soap or buy up front.
Definitely a nice place to stay if you're not going to sit in the room your whole vacation(no view and on smaller side for some)...and many conveniences! We will definitely be back!

The most expensive hotel, amazing to know that no linens would be changed and no cleaning of the room, so our room on 3rd day was stinking. No breakfast, just bread and juice. I have been all over the world but never experienced such expensive place. Never stay here again.

A good choice

Very close to the Hakata JR Station, good security of the entrance and use of elevator, huge tv screen, adorable stylish kettle, comfy bed.
They charge an extra 200yen each night as \"tax of accomodation\".
The library in the lobby has excellent art, culture and travel books, If you find time to read them.
The breakfast îs only by name. They serve bread, bread and margarine, marmalade in the library - very crowded and uninspired, but probably it's the only available space.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The relaxation area was great and has free drinks (water and coffee). There is also a small onsen that I used several times.

The room has as expected for a Japan business hotel, small but had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable and had 2 pillows. Windows doesn't open though FYI.

A Nice Find

I enjoyed my stay and was pleasantly surprised by the public baths available. The staff were really friendly and the room was nice and really clean. The location was convenient, about 3 minutes from Hakata station on foot and easy to find. It was also nice to have the free, if simple, breakfast of bread with jam with tea. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit.

흡연실 옆 트윈룸을 받았는데, 카페트에서 냄새가 나고 흡연실 담배연기가 방으로 넘어옵니다.
다른 호텔 흡연실 맞은편 방이나 옆방도 여러번 받아 봤는데 여기처럼 바로 냄새가 넘어오는 곳은 한 곳도 없었습니다.
야외라서 담배연기를 흡입하는 장치가 없어서 그런 것 같은데요
담배연기를 컨트롤 할 수 없다면 옆방은 배정을 하지 말거나, 흡연자에게 배정해야 하지 않을까요?
담배 연기 때문에 머리가 아파서 잠을 잘 못잤습니다.
체크인, 체크아웃시 직원 응대는 좋았는데 담배 연기 문제 때문에 다시는 방문하고 싶지 않습니다.
