Room was ok size but still a bit tight for us to move around. I appreciated the laundry machine in the room, which made it so much more convenient and was a super plus feature (whereas other hotels are shared laundry). The hotel is clean and the free beverages were nice. I just didn’t like the location because we had to cross the grittier part of Hakata station to get back. That food street had smoke coming from Burger King in addition to a lot of crowds before the calm. Once you get past that, it is less chaotic. The hotel is nice, overall. Area ok and close to the station.

Property was very spacious and had a washer dryer in the room. The property was under construction and the free breakfast (one of the reasons we booked the room) was not available. We were not notified of this prior to arrival and when I asked about breakfast the staff reluctantly advised that I could purchase a breakfast buffet at the hotel across the street. The buffet across the street was 3800 yen($24USD). While I don’t mind paying for breakfast it would have been helpful if the hotel had notified me of the construction (no breakfast) so I could consider another property or at least provide a more affordable breakfast option.

The first room they gave my wife and I, we noticed the strong smell of urine. Contacted front desk and they sent up someone to assist. The person said he didn’t smell it, and if it gave us a headache. I said yes, so they swapped us to another room. It didn’t smell of urine but of mildew/mold. We had another group stay in the same hotel and had the smell of mildew/mold in their room as well. The location is great, next to shopping/food/train station! The rooms are not soundproofed, you can hear pretty much everything. The positives are the laundry/dryer in the rooms. I would not stay at this specific hotel. The amenities are usually standard across the hotels, towards the afternoon, they will run out and aren’t replenished.

About a 10 min walk from Hakata station. A little older of a building but it did the job and was comfortable and clean. Having a washer/dryer was nice (and they provided laundry detergent) but FYI we did end up hang drying some of the clothes since some items shrunk slightly with the regular dry. Staff was nice and helpful!

Very close to Hakata station which is a main hub. In-room laundry especially convenient. Everything was very clean. AC kept room cool and dry, but there is a humidifier if needed. Variety of free amenities. Nightgown provided. Appreciated the option to have towel changes only without housekeeping entering room or limited cleaning i.e. towel changes and garbage removal. Only downside is we could hear the shinkansen going by, but maybe that is just from our specific room/side of the hotel.

We stayed as a couple for 4 nights. I feel room size were on the smaller side. It has a kitchenette and washer/dryer combo. You need to ask for dish detergent. Moisturizer set can be purchased at 150 yen. Refa brand dryer and shower head was a nice touch. Overall it wasn’t too bad.

Most useful & convenient --microwave, refrig. & hot kettle. Air con. good. Modern furnishing, large, firm double bed w/large comforter, Free TV for certain channels. Good window curtains & shade. Shampoo, body wash good. Good tub & shower head. good hot water. Good toilet & sink; good haridryer. Towels big & soft. Cleaning staff all friendly & helpful when I needed change of towels, toilet paper, kleenex. On check-in, Watanabe san very helpful,
patient, & nice. Good to have the weigh machine. Quiet room. Quite spacious. Inoue San also helped to show me how to work the TV. Upon check-out, Oct. 8, 9:15 am, (didn't get her name), counter staff, young lady very helpful in getting information to convert kilograms to pounds for our luggage weight. Excellent comfortable stay! Arigato!

The toilet has a pretty bad odor. I think it has something to do with Japans sewage system. Room was quite small, but you're paying more for the location thn anything. Only a 5 min walk to Hakata Station. There's a Family Mart right next door which was nice. Staff often had the \"out of service\" sign up during off hours. Should change that sign to \"please ring the bell.\"

Comfort Double Room - comfortable stay for 4 nights. Location - 10 mins walk with luggage from Hakata Station. Easy access to meeting point for day tours at Hakata Station. Shopping area and convenience store are within the vicinity. Room - was quiet and can hardly hear the traffic noise outside. Water pressure is strong. Bed is comfortable - medium soft. Check-in and check-out are straightforward. Bonus - ReFa brand hairdryer provided in room was awesome with powerful yet quiet airflow. The room is equipped with Attack zero liquid detergent, washing machine and microwave.

The hotel was located within a short walking distance to Hakata station which was most appreciated when returning from a long day trip. Having a coffee and ice dispenser machine in the lobby was a life saver in the mornings and on sweltering days. We loved that the hotel was quiet and clean with a 24 hour convenience store just round the corner. Will definitely stay and recommend friends and family to stay again.

We arrive to Fukuoka airport too late to catch the last train home so we booked this hotel. Even though we arrived late, there was someone available to help us check in. The room, although small, was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. There was even a combination washer/dryer in the room. In the lobby, there is a coffee machine and guest can select amenties such as tea or bathing towels as needed for the room. Unlike other hotels in the chain, there were no bath salts offered but that is a very minor comment.

The hotel is located a short walking distance from Hakata station, which has plenty of shops and links for local transport as well as Shinkansen for day trips.
The staff were friendly and the lobby was welcoming and spacious.
The room had plenty of space for my 2 suitcases, and it was convenient to be able to come and go at any time.
The price was also reasonable.
I will definitely consider staying again.

I have stayed a few Tokyu Stay hotels in Japan and this particular one is not the best. It is located next to Shinkansen railway tracks and the soundproof is the worst among all the hotels I have ever stayed. You could hear train noise from the windows and exhausts. I could barely sleep at night. However the rest of the hotel was acceptable.

It’s walking distance from Hakata Station about 10mins, easily noticeable as you will walk past a park. There are 2 Lawson nearby other than that no much shopping mall and restaurant nearby. Has to rely on Hakata Station. Room is clean and not noisy at all.

The hotel room is clean and very maintained. The bed is comfortable. (This time I do not have the back pain in morning as in other hotels we have stayed in this trip.) The breakfast is very good buffet of excellent quality. Although just next to rail with trains passing by, the sound proof is good and the train sound is soft.

Choose this Tokyu Stay only if you don't mind it being so close to the train tracks near Hakata Station. I didn't mind only because I used to live in New York City. The facilities are traditional in style (separate toilet room from shower/tub room), but easily separated by a sliding door.

Room was slightly larger than average, able to fit 2 medium sized luggage.

Window is able to open to allow fresh air, and air-conditioning was powerful due to it's a personal unit (not centralised).

Plus was in room washer & dryer unit and microwave.

Downside is:
- Beside train track
- South side of JR Hakata Stn., quiet neighbourhood with nothing much around hotel.

Highly recommended.

Huge rooms. Perfect for older adults who wants to stay close to the station, the rooms are spacious, even provide washing machine and ironing board which we don’t need. The free coffee machine is a bonus. Rates are even cheaper on a Saturday night.

Convenience ....

Stayed here for 10 nights and it was a great stay. Love the usefulness of the washing machine/dryer, microwave and small kitchenette. The room was comfortable for myself as a solo traveler as I was able to spread my things out and keep my luggage open. The TV was a smart tv that enabled casting from your device which is great.

The room is quiet and I didn't hear any noises from neighboring rooms throughout my whole 10 night stay.

I had one issue which was that Tokyu Stay doesn't supply coffee and offset with a coffee machine in the lobby. This arrangement is fine for me however it became a problem when the machine was out of order for 6 days out of my 10 day stay.

Location wise, this hotel is very convenient as it is only a short walk from Hakata station on the East side. There is a Family Mart 1 short block away and also a Lawsom on the side of the building.

Booked this specifically for location and the in suite washing machine. Hotel was only 5-10 min from Hakata Station and room was clean. I liked that it had a smart tv so I could use my own Netflix and YouTube.

Because it’s next to the train tracks you can hear the trains through the windows, so don’t choose this if you’re a light sleeper. Or just get earplugs!

Overall good choice if you’re needing the washing machine!
