I would like to share my experience regarding my recent stay. First and foremost, I want to commend the staff for their friendliness; they were truly a positive aspect of the visit. The location is also a major plus, conveniently situated near Hakata Station with easy access to shopping and other attractions.

However, I was disappointed with the state of our room. It felt outdated and was not well maintained, and the bathroom had a musty odor. I've attached pictures to illustrate the room's condition.

On our first morning, breakfast was quite disappointing as the food was cold and seemed improperly prepared, raising concerns about safety. I did bring this to the attention of the staff, and I must say that the following day's breakfast was an improvement.

Previously, we had a great experience at another Comfort Inn in Hiroshima, which made this stay even more disappointing. Overall, I don't believe I would choose to stay at this hotel again, as it didn't meet the expectations for the price paid. There are certainly better options available.

Don’t stay here. There were roaches at the hotel. We saw one on the bed and other one at the elevator area. Staff was really nice but we have to leave the hotel and find a last minute hotel near by. They contacted expdia and agreed to cancel the reservation without fee and Expedia will refund our money. I also contacted Expedia and I’m waiting for my refund.We have videos about it.

Just few minutes walk from Hakata station ( right across the street)

The hotel look a bit old like early 80s style but it is roomy. Overall the room is clean and staff is helpful and friendly.
However night time maybe a bit noisy, maybe there was a group tour staying at the same floor.

Breakfast is okay.

If you drive and stay in the hotel, suggest you check with the hotel where is the suggested parking lot located as the parking lot behind the hotel building is closed and not available and there is no other sign mention the parking lot location.

The underground street of Hakata station did have a exit near the entrance but it is stair only.

The hotel is right across from the station which is very easy to find even if this is your first time in Hakata . Though the hotel does seem a bit outdated but everything is still functional and clean. Their lobby has a library cafe where you could hang out while enjoying their free beverages and read their books (mostly in Japanese though).

The location is unbeatable. It is just across the street from the Hakata train station and bus terminal where we caught the bus to the airport. The room is of a reasonably good size but the bathroom shows sign of ageing. Breakfast is included in the room rate. We had an early flight departure and had to check out before breakfast was served. We asked in advance if we could have a packed breakfast but our request was refused by an receptionist with a bad attitude. That was not a very nice experience.

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is just across the road from Hakata train/subway station, thus perfect for getting around Fukuoka. There is an underground mall beneath the hotel (Sun Plaza) which connects to the subway, and which has several restaurants including Ichiran (ramen).
The room was small but adequate. The only thing which detracted from the experience was the pillows, which were flat, firm and uncomfortable. The bed itself was fine though. Shower was great.
Breakfast was adequate. The front desk staff were polite and attentive (I spoke with them in Japanese though). Strangely, we had to hand our room key to the front desk every time we left the hotel.

Location is great

Great location and easy access with the hotel being right in front of Hakata station. So quick access from Fukuoka airport too. The hotel is a little on the older side in terms of condition and style of rooms. But if you only going to be sleeping there then it's nice because of it location. Convenience store located really close and also a Starbucks next to the hotel.

The Comfort hotel was adequate in most regards. There is no temperature control in the rooms and I found it to be a little warmer than I like. The bedding is typical Japanese, meaning firm with no pillow top. The pillow was small and hard but the front desk cheerfully gave me another that was larger and thicker.
The location was absolutely outstanding and the price was very modest for a location in the heart of a large Japanese city, only a couple minutes walk to Hakata station.
We will stay there again.

Old but a surprisingly nice place to stay

Stayed here one night whilst on transit. I usually stay at a hotel right around the corner from this one. Comparatively the hotel feels old (carpets and walls etc..show age) but the hotel and room were very very clean. The staff were not as peppy as at my usual hotel.

The room size was surprisingly large for a Japanese hotel room. The bed (mattress) and pillow felt old and a bit worn. Did I say the room was impeccably clean ? I couldn't get a non-smoking room due to the hotel being fully booked but thankfully I hardly smelt the used tobacco in the floor or in my room.

The breakfast was very simple and was not anything worth writing home about; but it is a nice and welcoming touch and quite convenient.

Great location and friendly staff service. The only thing that needs to be checked on is the quality of the wireless internet - it keeps on dropping out! It also still uses the WEP encryption. However, if you ask the desk, they will give you a dongle anyway. Love the leg pillows =)

I would consider this property as the worst hotel ever! Dirty room, unprofessional staff and they can't speak in English! They even charged me US$20 so that I can check-out by 12 noon, cause their standard check-out time is 10 am. Very terrible! The free breakfast was really awful!

This hotel was very inexpensive even though I booked only a day or so before. It is near the city center, train and bus stations, and attractions. Room was very clean, quite adequate (hotel rooms in Japan can be very small) and breakfast was free and good. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to be in central Hakata./ Fukuoka.

Overall the hotel is slightly above average because of location, included breakfast, staff are courteous and helpful, and pricing was reasonable.
Negative points are: rooms are in need of renovation and a little small.

Buffet breakfast was above average because the large variety with average taste.

I would stay again as long as the daily rate was near the $100 range.

We’ve stayed at this hotel about 4 years ago but found that the condition of the room we were in has deteriorated since then. Generally the hotel seems tired. However, staff were first class as before, good English skills. There is free Western & Japanese breakfast, fast & free Internet & the location is perfect being opposite the huge and remodelled Hakata Station. Lots of eateries & shops in the station & buses leave nearby. The room was quiet but the aircon was super-hot & we had to turn it off even though the temperature outside was very cold. The price for the location is very good and the rooms was very clean and neat with a good amount of space (twin bed room).

Great value - breakfast

The hotel is very conveniently located, a few steps from JR Hakata Station (across the street from Tokyu Hands Store).
It is a great value for money. One of the cheapest rates with breakfast included.
I was very surprised to find even cut mango amongst the morning options!!
There was an all day free soft drinks and coffee service open.
Friendly staff.
Rooms and carpet are old.

Staff speaks good to excellent English. Beds are soft and comfortable. Room is kept at a good temperature though there is no individual thermostat. Great location, right outside the north entrance to the train station. Breakfast is good and a huge money-saver. If you want amusement you have to go to the far side of the train station but otherwise this is a perfect place to stay.

駅前で立地は便利でした。部屋も綺麗でしたが、暖房が部屋の中でムラがありました。
朝食があったのも良かったですが、外国人だらけで、うるさいし、落ち着かない空間でした。席札で場所をとったのに、食事をとりに行っている間に場所を取られたり、席と席の間も狭かったです。スムージーは美味しかったです
