The hotel is extremely conveniently located right next to Gion station, which is easy to get to from Hakata station. It's also quick and easy to walk to Hakata station from the hotel too.
The hotel provides a good amount of amenities, and clean towels each day. The room has everything you need, including lots of hooks to hang items. The hotel does have a washer, but I chose to use a coin laundry that was a short walk away as I know the machines in these hotels generally take a long time to dry.
The area has lots of food options, and is walking distance to several things.
I had an incident where I had lost an item in the airport, and had been asked to call them the next day to see if it was located. The gentleman at the front desk helped with calling the number I was provided and talking to the lost and found there. They were unable to locate my item, but I appreciated the assistance.
The only negative I experienced was that under the bed was not clean at all. It was very dusty, and there was some dropped sweets from other previous guests under there. Normally, I wouldn't notice this but I had dropped something under the bed so I did end up noticing this. I would ask that the hotel look at cleaning under the bed on occasions to avoid this. This didn't really effect my stay, so I would not rate the hotel less overall for this.
