The room and view were perfect and the beach area and infinity pool were divine. The only issue is that there were mosquitoes in our room -- the balcony door had several inches gap at the bottom (did not close tightly) allowing plenty of rooms for bugs to enter. I was bitten up quite a lot both nights which was not pleasant. And these were the only bites I got at all on the trip - so it was annoying that the most expensive place I stayed was the only one with bugs. But otherwise the hotel is superb.

Gorgeous rooms and amazing service. Solomon and Antonio make sure you’re well taken care of. Anything we needed was taken care of really promptly. Rooms are spotless, and AC works well.

A few major negatives though: The door to our room didn’t lock. We raised this the first day and they looked at it and acknowledged it didn’t lock, but took no steps towards fixing it. So our room was just unlocked the whole stay. Thankfully, the property has a locking gate, but still, we were women traveling and it didn’t feel safe to sleep with the door unlocked and leaving all our stuff in the room when we were out. This is really unacceptable for a property at this price.

The room design gives only 50% privacy in the shower. That is, the wall around the shower only covers your bottom half. Hopefully you’re traveling with a romantic partner; I wasn’t and now know my friend a lot better than we ever intended. I know this is a trendy layout for Instagrammable hotels, but it’s really not practical or convenient.

And finally, this is advertised as an adults only property, but there was a family staying there with kids, and one looked to be around 10 years old.

Oddly, the food at breakfast was great, but dinner was underwhelming, but there are other options within walking distance.

I mention negatives so people will know what they’re getting into, but overall, we had a fantastic time. We really loved this hotel and would stay again if we can guarantee a room with a lock on it!

Wonderful hotel with incredible views from the suite loved it!
Relaxing in the swimming pool and hammock was such a delight. The ocean, views, birds singing is so enjoyable and relaxing wow! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind, if you want anything extra, you'll have to pay for it.
We tried some of the breakfast food it was just okay. You can definitely find something better outside, but be warned... it's super hot out there and there's no AC!

The setting of the property is stunning, as is the pool and the GM, Salomon, was very friendly and helpful. Overall you can definitely feel the age of the property, a lot of wear and tear especially in the room. We definitely felt it was overpriced. Ate at the restaurant a couple times, for breakfast it was fine but lunch and dinner are way overpriced for what you get. Its walking distance to town which was good. Mixed feelings, definitely not a bad stay but wasn’t blown away.

This was an incredible experience. Zoa was very attentive to all of my questions prior to our getaway; they made me feel secure, welcome, and excited about choosing them. Solomon and Victor are fantastic; they reached out a day before our arrival to make sure all of the questions were answered. They sent us menus, maps, and so much more. The property itself is stunning, and I loved being onsite. The food is absolutely delicious; I wanted to eat all my meals thereafter I tried the first dish. They prepared a romantic anniversary dinner for my husband and me on the terrace overlooking the ocean. I can't say enough about Zoa, I can't wait to go back.

A Beautiful Sanctuary

It’s a beautiful sanctuary in a dramatic setting. The rooms are unique and very comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy. The host is extremely welcoming.Food at the restaurant is outstanding. It’s a considerable walk down to the beach but once there it is amazing. After a hot day it was great to refresh in the infinity pool overlooking the ocean. We wished that the internet was a bit better. Finished on the outside of the cabana we stayed in need a bit of a refresh as does the pool.

Funny story about how we ended up here. My partner and I had booked an Airbnb in Mazunte (Casa Indy) ready to go, however “I” booked the flight a day earlier by mistake. that’s on me and I take full ownership for this. As a result, I really wanted to make this extra day really special. I figured a 5star hotel would make up for it. It did! I saved the extra day.

This place was romantic for so many reasons. 1. Not a lot of people. 2. No kids 3. Quite places to be in love 4. The views 5. The sun rise and sun set 6. The food 7. The room, the room with everything yummy, spicy and delicious. 8. The private inclosed yard to have room service in. 9. Wales, we could see whales in the ocean from our room laying in bed. 10. The experience.

The things that I wish were better but not by the fault of the hotel. When I looked at the pictures I noticed a beautiful bathtub. I even brought special bubble bath to enjoy said bathtub. Mazunte is going through a severe drought and it’s recommended to conserve water. Although this was a shot in the heart for my relaxation, I understood and complied. Also, bugs, be ready and they can’t be avoided. Some small things to look over, you are brave and strong, what’s one big giant spider that your loved one can take care of.

This place makes the heart love and the passion ignite. The views, the experience, having your own private beach, the food, the romance. Ugh… it’s a no brainer.

What a spot! We splurged on the master suite for 1 night and it was well worth it. The view was spectacular, the room excellent, the restaurant top, top quality and the private pool divine. Manager Solomon was kind and courteous and helped make our stay memorable.
Highly recommended for a special night or 2!

Tips: we brought champagne but they only had plastic glasses because of the pool so maybe bring your own.

There is a little tienda right at the foot of their driveway for budget water and snacks.

Excelent hotel, 5 min walk to 2 different beaches. Rent an ATV and you are set! Very quiet.
Salomon (Manager) and Victor are an asset to making this hotel a special place. They add you to whatsapp messenger and everything you need you get at a blink of an eye. We booked a special dinner and it was above and beyond my expectations!

I cannot wait to go back! I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was really a grouping (of 7 or so) bungalows. The one we stayed in was high on the cliff with a view of the ocean, shoreline, and rocks below. Absolutely unreal!

The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and there were few other guests. I have rented villas on vacation several times, and this is a very similar feeling without the cost or prep.

I wouldn't recommend this place though if you have difficulty walking (there are dozens and dozens of stairs), are allergic to cats (there are a few patrolling the grounds), or find staying at a resort on Waikiki your jam (this is the opposite, and much more beautiful/nice).

The manager Solomon is an absolute gem! He knew exactly what to recommend to us to do outside the hotel and had such a keen sense of when and how to serve our needs within the hotel. Not intrusive but ready and available to take care of anything you need or want. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. The views of the ocean are outrageous and hypnotizing - like moving art, the Infiniti pool w the view a dream, the food wonderful. Beaches very close by. I am planning to return as soon as I can!

Place is absolutely breathtaking! It’s in the middle of two beautiful beaches but Mazunte is closer to get too. The views are amazing. The food that we ate there was excellent. Just a few minutes away from everything you need but nice for peace and quite. There are no children allowed which was awesome. If you are going to splurge on a room you MUST stay at the Honey Moon Sweet!

Beautiful, quiet property on a cliff. Bit rude

The property is rustic but stunning. Eco-chic and has all the comforts you may need. I loved the open air bathroom/shower overlooking the sea! Some areas were closed/under construction during my stay so that detracted a bit from the experience. Overall, I enjoyed the place. Tranquil and perfect for relaxing, close to beach. For the most part, the staff was nice but I did feel like I was pretty much kicked out at the end of my stay and it was not a nice feeling. I had mentioned to the manager that I had my transport to Oaxaca city later that evening after my checkout and he said they could hold my luggage while I continued to use the amenities/go to the nearby beach if I wanted. I had lunch at the on site restaurant and then went to spend the afternoon at the beach. Upon my return, I was planning to get a quick dinner from the on site restaurant before leaving for my transport but when I returned, the manager, Salomón, told me I could no longer be on the premises and needed to leave. I was surprised considering he had offered to me to continue using the facilities until I left that evening. I mentioned I had planned to grab dinner there from their restaurant and he said I couldn’t and needed to pay out my tab and leave. While paying out the tab, he was a bit rude and at one point when I asked about how a charge was calculated, he was condescending and insinuated that I had trouble counting/doing math. Overall, a very unpleasant way to end an otherwise nice and relaxing stay.

It was amazing, location great between Zipolite, Mazunte and San Agustinillo. The food was superb, and very and relaxation effect was the one of my best experiences. Pool is a great infinity pool overlooking a cliffs and ocean. Also, the manager Solomon made the trip, he was an amazing host. I will be back! It was the kind of spot you don’t want to leave.

The hotel is in a small community 70 minutes by car from Huatulco. The views are great, but the beaches are not for swimming. It seems like a great surfing area with large powerful waves. One day two, I forgot my wallet in the cabin. When we returned from Huatulco in the afternoon, $320 was missing from my wallet. We spoke to the manager who was polite but told us because the money wasn't in the safe, they aren't responsible. He then told us that we could go make a report with the police but nothing would happen. We checked out the next morning. I'd rather lose the prepaid hotel costs than stay where I don't feel comfortable.

Perfect for much needed R&R! The resort is beautiful and secluded. There are only 5 cabañas so it feels very private. We spent our days in the pool, on the hammocks, at the beach, or in our room enjoying the amazing ocean view from our wrap around deck. Neighboring beaches are a short walk away and have very few people. Only downside was the bugs in our room nightly, but we got over that fairly quickly.

What a great time we had, it was hard to leave ZOA everyday to venture out as it was so peaceful and such a gorgeous spot to stare at the ocean waves. Beautiful location...insanely expensive! The service was terrible. Food was not great either. Room was ok there was no mosquito nets so you couldnt sleep with the doors open and let air in and the ac was loud and didn't work. I hate ac at a beach!

A Dream Hotel

Zoa is one of those hotels that the moment you arrive you don't want to leave ! ever ! It's a beautiful hotel, high on a cliff, but you can walk down the hotel stairs to a mini beach ( just for yourself) . The rooms are super well made palapas decorated with excellent taste. Don't expect a television or telephone, there are neither, but you are in relax mode anyway. The bathtub is a huge round lovely stone item ! Must weigh a ton ! The staff are so discreet you have the feeling that no one is there ! The chef makes food, as there are only 5 rooms the menu is small but very fresh. He offers the catch of the day and other special items . Hopefully we will be able to save up and spend another birthday here! Highly recommended!

Mais la logistique ne suit pas.
A ce prix là, on ne pardonne pas de ne pas avoir d eau chaude , de se retrouver au bar sans possibilité de s installer parcequ il y a un seul coin salon déjà occupé.
Tout ça est tres dommageable car l hotel vaut vraiment le détour.
Attention aux suppléments pour le service et les taxes.
On s attends à beaucoup plus pour le prix demandé.

El lugar es increíble para disfrutar unas vacaciones tranquilas ya que tiene amenidades que ningún otro lugar tiene.
