We really enjoyed staying here! Great breakfasts, staff happy to accomodate our broken Spanglish, perfect location, could've used a chair in the room but the cool showers we're fine and we could sit at the bar any time. Might try for a fancier room next time as we'd easily go back. Dogs and cats friendly and not begging, roosters a bit noisy but they're all over town. 5 minute walk to beach and loads of restaurants. Found a short cut to the night life area too. A lucky find!

Lovely cabins very close to Playa Ziploite. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I also had an unforgettable breakfast of enfrijoladas with tasajo (cured beef) and salsa, followed by fruit, honey, granola, coffee. It was perfect.

I stayed in a beautiful cabana on a very quiet hill. I think this is a family run business. They offer breakfast in the morning from 9:30 am to 12 off of a menu made fresh. There is a little café area/bar where the Internet is better. I got lots of mosquito bites sitting there, however. My cabana itself had a fan over the bed, and a mosquito net, but it didn’t close all the way, so I had to use a hair clip to close it. And I hung my towel over the opening as well. There are shutter windows And wooden slats so it’s not a fully enclosed room so bugs can get in. The toilet was in a separate enclosure and the shower was in a separate enclosure behind the bed but with no fully enclosed wall. The most inconvenient thing about this spot is the sand hill you need to go up to get here. So if you were taking a collective and dragging luggage up the hill that would not be fun. I recommend taking a taxi right to the front entrance. It’s super close to the beach just a five minute walk down the hill. They did not offer potable water in the bedroom. I had to get it from the bar. There are some chickens roaming around and a dog. I really enjoyed staying here.

The cabins are simple, but well-maintained and comfortable. The terrain is set up in such a way that most of the cabins feel quite private. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the better options for a budget-conscious stay in Zipolite

Beautiful little hideaway not too far from the beach and restaurants, surrounded by mountains and trees, crickets and roosters! The staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

The only minor issue was the friendly cleaning staff that would knock incessantly at my door while I slept through the mid-day heat, just to change my towel and sheets each day. A \"do not disturb\" sign would have been very useful.

La base y colchón de la cama en la primera cabaña que nos asignaron estaba pandeada hacia el centro haciendo que con solo pasar una noche ahí amaneciera con una tortícolis que me duró el resto de las vacaciones. Al día siguiente nos cambiaron a otro cuarto y, aunque mejor, seguía siendo incómoda. Fuera de eso el staff super amigable y atento y el lugar muy bonito.

Do not stay at these cabanas! There is no AC and it’s super hot and humid in this area. There are also hundreds of red ants everywhere even inside your cabana and mosquitos like no other. Thankfully I only stayed for 2 nights and even the last night was torture.

Very unique cabanas a short walk from the ocean. Upper units with large balconies are great - but you must be able to climb a small spiral staircase. Not for people with mobility issues. We had a wonderful time and the staff were awesome. Our only issue was the neighboring dogs barked for hours.

The property looks beautiful online, but in reality the Cabañas are extremely close together, very open to the elements, very very small, and the mosquito nets have holes and don’t close all the way. Hey it’s better than camping...but just barely. Also the usual warm over-the-too Mexican hospitality is completely missing here. Forget about any amenities, there are no beach towels or anything other than soap and shampoo. Plenty of bugs though!

The hotel is a little hidden and after the sun sets it gets really dark so you'll need to use your cell's flashlight to get to the hotel. The rooms are really clean and the staff is very friendly. There is no hot water for the shower but you won't miss it.
Overall, a really nice place.

Amazing place to stay. We got an upgrade to stay at a bigger cabaña. Really cool. Only down side is the drive and the roads to get here. Its literally in the middle of the jungle and some of the roads are really rough. We stayed a couple of days and enjoyed just being away from it all.

I gave it five stars because i can only assume it was good for the money

I never arrived. I tried canceling within the 24 hour period but could not ... i repeat ... I could not find a way to do it on your site or through the confirmation email I got ... but could not. I could not call because I did not have phone service. The hotel should have notified you and let you know that I did not arrive ... but then again ... they would not get the money. Either way, I had a change in plans that was out of my control and I could not make the trip. I cannot give you a review for a room that I did not stay in. Have a good day!

The staff was nice, but very inconsiderate about noise early in the morning. Work on the roof began at 7AM, loud voices of staff during this time also. Room was full of insects and mosquito netting had large holes in it. Toilet did not flush and bathroom sink barely provided more than drips of water. The place has potential – but currently in need of many modifications. Would not stay there again.

Cost effective place to stay.

Nice little hideaway. Very basic, but if you just need a place to sleep it works well. Bed was uncomfortable, but we survived. One staff member - Carlos - was so nice and helpful. Other staff didn't speak English but still were nice. A little walk to the beach, but not too far so it worked out okay. Generally a nice stay.

Further from the beach than many other places in Zipolite, Cabanas Biuzza was a charming retreat. Cool music most of the day, relaxed friendly staff and cute rooms. About a six-minute walk to the beach.

Shame on You: Stacking the Reviews

Obviously someone is stacking the recommendations as the place has nothing to offer, We left with fully paid nights as it is unacceptable for any but the poorest traveller. I paid $38 Canadian a night and I have stayed in dozens of places that were gorgeous for similar money in Mexico. I left to stay at a beachfront adult hotel with swimming pool and one of the best restaurants in the region for less than $20 dollars more, Totally a ripoff. A hammock on the beach is a much better deal for 40 pesos (about three bucks) And yes I have staying on the beach with a hammock and felt better about the experience. Sorry but the cabanas are crowded, poorly ventilated 1/2km from the beach and honestly of fair value at about 8 dollars a night.

Good value for money. Close to the beach. It does not offer the all-inclusive hotels comfort, but the experience is more personalized. The food in the nearby restaurants was wonderful. If you want to go off the beaten track and experience something different than Cancun, you will enjoy Puerto Angel.

Luxury Beach Cabana

The hotel was a little difficult for us to find in the rental car but once we got there we had to pinch each other to make sure we hadn't died and gone to paradise heaven. I couldn't have asked for a more cozy, beautiful place to spend my vacation and hard earned money. The staff was friendly and accommodating and Enrique spoke English which was very helpful. The room was incredible and boasted a breathtaking view and lounging hammocks. They served us fair priced alcohol and drew us helpful maps to tourist destinations.

It's a nice place to stay, although keep in mind that you can hear what's happening in other rooms around you (I heard some very loud snoring). I had a cabin next to the lobby tables, so every morning there were people chatting while they had breakfast. There's also a rooster nearby that doesn't stop crowing from 5 am onwards, so maybe the place could provide earplugs, and bring your own. There's no hot water, so keep that in mind.

El sitio es precioso y la habitación bonita y cómoda. El servicio es excelente y el desayuno que ofrecen muy rico. Recomiendo la estancia no obstante, el caminito para llegar está en pésimo estado, se hace peligroso subir y bajar con un vehículo y muy incómodo para hacerlo andando.

Información falsa desde la página, pedí camas dobles porque así lo marcan y resulta que no tienen camas dobles, tuvimos que pagar más para por lo menos una cama más grande, camino de entrada horrible e inseguro, no realizan limpieza y cambio de servicio diario solo medio barren y doblan camas y toallas pero dejan las mismas aún cuando estén sucias, no lavan el baño, no cambia las bolsas de la basura solo lo vacian, se ocupa el servicio de café que dejan y no lo cambian y lavan las cosas que se ocupan (cafetera y tazas) para que vuelvan a quedar limpias, en ningún momento mencionan en la página que el camino de entrada al hotel está horrible sin pavimentar, empinado, inseguro y de noche súper obscuro porque el hotel está demasiado escondido de la carretera y obviamente de la playa, nada que ver las fotos que suben a la página con la realidad, a mi consideración y en mi experiencia pésimo servicio desde el sitio web que no muestra la realidad de ese hotel

Es la segunda vez que me hospedo aquí. La propiedad tiene lo necesario en muy buenas condiciones, la atención del personal es excelente y su oferta de desayunos me gusta. La única observación es que al alrededor - afuera de las cabañas se requiere mayor alumbrado pues la vereda por la que pasas es oscura. Seguramente volveré a ir.
