When I went to check-in at the front desk, the reception person asked me to choose from the floors that were available, which was great. I had never been asked to choose before. Then he also gave me Hilton Honors points for my stay even though I got it through Expedia, which was another plus! The person who helped us check out was also wonderful because she gave us late checkout without thinking and she was just very accommodating.
The location was great because it was right off the LIE and it was two minutes away from all the shopping: food, Starbucks, supermarket, bank and etc.

I also love that they are so dog-friendly! Most hotels charge per night but this hotel charges $75 per STAY up to 4 days and that's up to TWO pets. This is the biggest reason why I chose this hotel - plus the big heated indoor pool. I only wish they had a hot tub bcs when I got out of the pool, it was freezing.

But if I must be objective, the buffet wasn't that great because there weren't too many menus to choose from. The only hot food that was served was eggs, sausages and oatmeal and self-serve waffles which you have to make yourself. But the coffee was great!

And there is a $15/day for parking, which I was told I had to pay when I check-out but I wasn't charged at all. And you also have to share the elevator with the cleaning ladies and the elevator was the only one that needed renovating. But otherwise, I give FIVE stars for this hotel! We would definitely go back!

Property is beautiful with ample parking. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty! The Staff was always kind, courteous, and helpful. Whenever we are in Long Island, NY, we stay at the Hampton InnFarmingville, Brookhaven, NY. It is part of the Hilton Hotels, so we get good credit for other vacation spots using Hilton Hotels.

Breakfast was fresh and excellent for the stay. The room was ok. The carpet was a little dirty. The pool was well kept and at a good temperature. Over all we enjoyed the stay and the location is conveniently located to the aquarium and the outlets.

The hotel and grounds are in need of a renovation but the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean but the cleaning service only runs every other day. So if you stay two days they will not be cleaning your room. There was not enough parking for all the guests and I often had to drive around the lot multiple times to find a spot.

I have used this hotel already several times when on Long Island. You can tell the age of the hotel, e.g. of elevator and bathroom installations, but basically it is a good hotel, clean, with friendly staff and a very convenient location.

We had a great time, heated pool was nice though I feel it needs a bit more filtering as some days it was a tad cloudier than I would prefer.

Breakfast was great and everything was clean

Beware, they charge 15usd plus taxes per night per car, so not free parking.

Hampton Inn of Brookhaven can not be beat. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and each day eas flawless.
As I had spoken to your front desk clerk, the hospitality and the service provived starts with them.
Its not just ny wife and I. It was the other guests that had stsyed here during this time.

The room smells like homelessness no judging but that’s not how I want to be welcomed to a room. I kept the AC so it could keep a fresh smell but it didn’t work all I got was a small cold. If you want temporary short term stay it does the job but if you’re staying for leisure this isn’t the place.

The room was clean and comfortable except for the sofa bed. We had a party of three, which meant they offered us a king bed plus sofa bed. There were food bits and trash under the cushions and mattress, and the bed was not put together correctly as the foot either caused the bed to collapse or raised one’s feet up. Also, having a party of three it would have been nice to have three bath towels. The floor had been recently updated, which was nice but lingering with the “new” smells was the aroma of marijuana in a non-smoking hotel. The breakfast experience was mixed in that the food was adequate for most and the coffee not horrible, but all tables were a mess, the options for those of us with allergies were nearly non-existent, and we had the misfortune of having uncontrolled children running around screaming when we were there. Lastly, the parking isn’t ideal. It is primarily on the backside while the entrance and elevator are not. Overall, it is still a good nights sleep (if you keep the fan on as the walls are thin), the front desk staff are nice, and the room was adequately clean and updated.

Cons - Parking lot was eh. Lots of people smoking in cars in the lot all hours. Seemed that some people were living there on government emergency housing vouchers. Still felt safe, just a bit trashy at times as we saw some seemingly drugged out people, and a couple with all their household belongings on luggage carts hanging out in the lobby.

Frig in room was not cold. Attempted to call front desk to ask how to adjust temp but phone did not work. Went online and there is no phone number listed for the hotel on the entire internet, only the 877 reservation number. While surfing online I find many people complaining about a $15 parking fee per night. Guess I’m headed downstairs to the front desk. After another guest and I are both complaining about this hidden charge, the front desk manager says, “why don’t I take care of that charge for both of you”
I hate swarmy business stuff like that. He tells me the temp adjuster for the fridge is on the outside back of the unit. I found it, turned it up, it never got cold.

I truly don’t know where to begin. We were in town for the funeral of a very close Family member & our stay was awful.
The staff at check in was very sympathetic and knew how devastating our loss was.
Between the multiple calls I had to make to the front desk on our first night due to a domestic violence situation right in the front of the hotel entrance. Mind you, we were on the 4th floor and could hear the screaming and threats made between this couple clear as day, over the volume of our TV.
To returning back that evening in an uber, after a very difficult and emotional night with our grieving family members to a carport and lobby FULL of Police.
There was zero sleep that night.
Not to mention the room across the hall filled with no less than 9 unattended children. They ran through the halls, destroyed the breakfast area and literally threw the mounds of take out garbage at the walls near the ice machine/elevator. Zero parental involvement, nor attention from the hotel staff.
If I could give negative stars, I would.
Absolutely awful. During an already awful time.

Staff was so friendly ans helpful. It was nice to talk with them at different times of the day- different staff.
Parking was easy. There is a daily fee. Plenty of spaces. Close to many restaurants and shops that's walkable as well.
The public areas had great seating- comfortable sofas as well as tables and chairs. All were clean. 24 hour tea, coffee and cocoa available in the downstairs area, as well as fruit infused water.

Rooms were spacious and clean, as were the toilets and shower grout!

Breakfast buffet had many options, hot and cold, and plenty of seating. There were different hot options each morning. Eggs, sausages, pancakes, waffles (you make), and regular continental items. Good fruit, yogurt and oatmeal.

Overall, good pick for a family holiday weekend.
