Hotel is under construction which I did not know about nor did they mention that when I booked. Room was outdated, workers were banging away at 7am and using materials that left a smell throughout the floor. Would not stay there again till December 2026 when they said construction would be finished. I had a 2 day stay and cancelled the 2nd day to stay elsewhere

First of all... Except for the elevators, DON'T BELIEVE THE REVIEWS! Everything about this place was spot on! Service, room, casino, restraunt... We loved it. Yes, there was only 1 wokring elevator and yes we waited a total of 10 minutes for it in a 76 degree hallway BUT it was so much fun it didn't really matter! Seriously, give it a shot. You won't be sorry!

The Staff was helpful. The Food at the BISTRO IS LISSSH! I can see myself going there just to eat, I had the French dip, and lobster Mac, my partner ordered that everything Pretzel! Its to Die for! This was my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last!

The water in my room didn't get hot and when I told the front desk they said the water on that side of the building only get warm. Only one elevator worked so we had to wait like 10 mins to get back and forth. There was hair not our on the shampoo bottles.

Property was just OK. The entry into the casino was absolutely dirty and filthy.

The room was kind of old a little musty expected a little more the staff was just OK not overly polite and not overly friendly

One particular person at valet was absolutely rude as was the worker female at the coffee shop. She was absolutely not friendly at all. Felt like she didn’t even wanna be there.

The rooms are great and comfortable and reasonably priced for the area. The staff was really friendly. Its an ordeal with parking and coming and going from the hotel because it is attached to the casino and there is pretty heavy security and some shady characters, but if you can get past that and be patient, once in the hotel area, it was quiet and nice. There was also just one elevator working and seems that has been for a while, but it wasnt that much of a problem if you can bea little patient. The other hotel guests were very friendly.

The place is a mess, 1 elevator working, when you are on your floor and hit down to go to lobby, it stops on the way up and you need to ride the rest of the way up and then go down, carpets gross, everything felt dirty outside of the room. The place is just not maintained at all. The one thing i will say is that the room was in decent shape, felt clean. If you need a cheap place to stay for the night, and don’t mind the sort of people who hang around a low rate gambling hall, this is your spot. The staff were all very nice and did their best, but whoever owns the property needs to put some money into it. There were signs for the “New Jakes” throughout the lobby, almost as if to say, the place isn’t being taken care of because we are just redoing it all. So maybe better things are to come.

First off, I want everyone to know that just entering the casino was ridiculous. First you go through a metal detector, and then they check your bag if you have one. After that they take a picture of you with face recognition camera. After that security scans your ID. Totally ridiculous. I stayed the night and i was sorry I did. The restaurant/café was a horrible experience. After we sat down, we waited almost a half hour for the waitress. I had to get the manager to get her to our table. After we ordered i never saw her again. I had to get a busboy to get my check. After I got my check I waited to pay. No one ever came by. I filled out the bottom of the check with name and room number to have it charged to my room and left it on the table. I went to do some gambling and then went back to my room to go to sleep. About a half hour later, someone came knocking on my door. It was a casino supervisor. He said I didn't pay the check at the Cafe. I told him the service was horrible, no one came to the table and i filled out the information on the check to have it charged to the room. He made me go back to the cafe to pay the bill. He told me they don't charge the room and the waitress said I can charge it to the room if I want to when I got back to the Cafe. Horrible, horrible place. I will never go back. I rather go to Mohegan Sun in CT, much better place. When I got there security told me Jakes 58 is government owned. Now I understand why the place is run so poorly.

The room was clean. I don’t like bulk shampoo and body wash. I was woke up by construction . When I called desk they had no idea. For my inconvenience I was given a free cup of coffee🎉 not happy I spent almost 500$ on room and casino. All staff interactions were wonderful

Room was okay. what I didn't like. was at least in my room the closet door when open if we're in the bathroom first thing you would hit is the door, You should have where you could heat up some water to make tea or coffee, and coming in and out of hotel was a pain cause you always had to show ID, they should have separate entrances for hotel quest and casino patrons, maybe when construction is done it will be better.

My stay was and always exceptional and excellent. The restaurant food is delicious, the environment is very quiet and safe. The property is well kept abd very clean. The rooms are very clean spacious and beds are comfortable. The staffs overall are very friendly and professional. I'm in love going to Jake's 58 I enjoyed all my stays there and recommend my friends,families and coworkers. I just celebrate my stepmom birthday there last month and she had an amazing time.

I wasn't excepting much when I saw the photos of this hotel but I still booked. It was my first time here. The front desk staff, Nilsa, she provided awesome customer service. The room they gave was beautiful, compared to the ones on the photos. As for the rest of the hotel, very limited slot machines. The restaurant was not good at all. The cafe was not good either, their oven was bot working and were not serving any hot breakfast. So that was very disappointing. I will wait to come here again when they are done with their upcoming new renovations.

This hotel-casino is more focused on gambling than guest comfort. Rooms are outdated and in need of serious repairs/updates. Valet is only available in the parking lot—no bell service, no help with luggage—and there seem to be more security guards watching casino money than staff assisting guests. The property feels lower-end and neglected, with little attention to hotel-level service. If you’re looking for a clean, updated, full-service hotel experience, this isn’t it.

The way the security team treated my wife with always having to check her bag even when she showed them her room key. And in the Bestrio the waiter asks my wife for her id to charge it to the room and doesn't bring water to the table. And he doesn't even check on us while we are eating to see if we wanted anything else like the drink specials before 2pm. I also was never told that a $500.00 hold would be put on my credit card for incidentals. So after that was done I figured I would charge to my room to find out that they were charging my credit card for each purchase I made. I will never stay there again and I don't recommend it unless you are there to gamble.
