We checked out a while before our flight out, and we were able to make use of the very comfortable lounge/breakfast area to work. The staff gave us a temporary key so that we could use the bathroom while we worked, which was very appreciated. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful.

I gave this hotel 2 stars because of 2 reasons. First was the musty smell due to the carpeting. Time to switch to lamanate flooring. Second reason was the refrigerator that is not very user friendly. Too small and it has to be reset every 2 hours. Big inconvenience especially for a long term stay. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They helped make our stay much more pleasant.

There was an employee and a customer screaming at eachother and arguing from 330am to 4am. I could not sleep and it left me and my partner very uncomfortable and she was very scared. I tried to speak to an employee in the morning asking if there was any refund or compensation i could get due to the incident and they said i could not get anything from them and would have to go to hotel.com which also is providing me nothing.

Overall, my stay was pleasant with the exception of the unbearable noise caused by the bathroom exhaust fan. This situation was reported twice to the front desk before it was corrected. The maintenance worker insisted that the intense noise was normal which I did not accept. Yet he proceeded to repair it.

I booked 2 rooms on Expedia almost 3 months ago, yet when we checked in, they said that they couldn’t give us adjoining rooms, but just on the same level. This was disappointing. Otherwise, we have stayed at the Fairfield Inn Marriott in Medford many times now- it is exceptionally clean, generally quiet at night, and courteous staff. Would recommend this hotel if staying on L.I.; convenient to North AND South Shores.

This property was noisy and dusty because it was under construction. I selected this hotel because there was a pool but it had a film of construction dust and severely over chlorinated. There are no closets in the room. No laundry facilities and the breakfast selections were limited to powdered eggs and overcooked sausages. We should not have paid so much for a property like that.

We arrived at 4:30pm. Unaware that the hotel was under renovation. The manager was unable to check us in due to the computer being frozen. We asked for a place to change since we were attending a 75 th birthday party at 5:00pm. The manager could not provide anywhere. Finally my husband and I took a key to the bathroom and changed there. We did get our room after the party . Two lights in the room and only one had a bulb. The bathroom fan and a/c unit were so noisy I thought I was on a run way at the airport. Walls were paper thin I overhead the patron in the next room tell someone he was happily married. Hallways and pool area was very dark. At $250 a night I expect more from a Marriott Fairfield Inn.

The last few times I’ve been there the property is under renovation. They are upgrading. The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that they didn’t actually have closets, but I was told that they’re coming and the other thing was the TV on the desk so there was no actual desk to useand the little dresser that they give very very tiny so if you’re two people for a few days, it really isn’t much space and it’s not level so other than that I mean the breakfast was good as always the oatmeal could’ve cooked a little longer, but I haven’t been disappointed yet staying there

It was pretty average as far as the rooms and amenities were concerned. Lighting in the room was very, very low, so getting ready for the day was affected by that. I knew from the signage that there was some renovation going on, but what I didn't know was at 8am I would be woken up blue power tools and banging hammers above my head. When I mentioned this to the front desk staff, they seemed shocked that I could hear anything, but said they hadn't even been upstairs to experience the noise for themselves. Additionally, I had to reschedule a work related Zoom call because I couldn't access the WiFi on any devices. When I brought this to the front desk staff's attention, they just showed me that their phones \"were on WiFi and fine\" -- OK awesome, but none of my devices could get on so that wasn't helpful at all. The air circulation in the room was also pretty bad--very stuffy even with it being only ~40 degrees out, so I either had to sleep with the window open and be really cold, or run the AC which smelled like it needed a filter change. Wasn't impressed and won't be back.

When I came in for check in my room wasn't available and the person at the desk didn't offer to hold my luggage for me. I had to drag it back to my car. I came back 2 hours later and asked to get ice, I was told that only the first floor had ice. The ice machine wasn't working on the first floor. Then I discovered that my window was unlocked. Thank goodness I checked because my room was on the first floor and that is very dangerous for me. I don't know why the staff left the window unlocked. But that is very serious especially on the first floor!!!! I called the front desk and they had someone come in and lock it because it was very difficult to lock it myself. The next morning, I discovered that I forgot my hairbrush and went to the vending area and there were none for purchase so I asked the front desk attendant if she had any hairbrushes or combs and she offered me a toothbrush. That was rude. Also, there was a notice on the website that the pool was unavailable until 2027 so I didn't bring my swimsuit but when I walked by the pool, there were people enjoying it.
