For starters the carpet in the entire hotel was very dirty. But what was worse, was the shower. The water temperature would go from freezing cold to scalding hot without touching the knob. You had to time getting ing the water like a game to not get burned or ice bath. The air conditioning was also weak and the room temperature never got below 75 degrees.
They had the audacity to demand $500/night for this very dated and updated hotel.

This hotel is in a bad state. It needs significant investment to get it to a reasonable standard. The whole place is tired and run down. The communal areas are universally dirty, the staff don’t want to be at work and it shows. The rooms have many broken things, stains and wear. This hotel should be avoided unless you have no choice.

Our family stayed for one night, the kids used the pool which was nice and clean. The staff was polite, the breakfast buffet was impressive. The rooms could be updated, especially the mattresses, but the room was clean and was perfect for our family of four.

First I booked a king room but was given a standard room instead. The down comforter was full of lumps.
Toiletries provided were scant. The first night there was a small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. However the second night no shower gel!! Shower gel and body lotion was unavailable even upon request. And I did request it! The thermostat was broken and room temperature could not be adjusted. But the absolute WORST was the wet bedding!!! They made the bed with bedding that was not completely dried!! This was on day 3 of my stay. At this point I demanded to see a manager. After quite a wait he did have the bed remade with dry bedding and did manage to find shower gel and body lotion!!! Amazing! not worth the price!!!

We booked online, nothing was open or available with the booking, the hotel smelled horrible, evident that there was mold and it's under construction so it was all dusty and dingy. The pictures and what was displayed is not accurate. We contacted Expedia and got a refund we did not even stay there after seeing all that. The pool was not available, the breakfast was not included in anything. We had a hard time, never again.

I checked out at 8:30AM today (6/18) so this is still very fresh in my mind…

I've spent over a decade living out of a suitcase and checked out of hundreds of hotels. Not one — not the cheapest motel, not an overbooked airport dump at 2 a.m. — has ever been incapable of handing me a copy of my own folio. Until this place.

At checkout I asked for the most routine document in all of hospitality: my itemized receipt, for an expense report. The man at the desk, who made sure I knew he was the manager, told me it was \"impossible.\" A receipt. Impossible. For the money I'd just paid them, he couldn't produce a piece of paper a gas station prints without being asked.

And he knew what he was doing. The more I pushed, the more he enjoyed it — arms crossed, little smirk, savoring that he'd found a guest he could stonewall with zero consequences. When I said I might not get reimbursed for the whole stay, that was the moment he liked best. No concern. No apology. Just satisfaction.

This wasn't incompetence. Incompetence would've tried. This was a man who could have helped, chose not to, and got a kick out of it. Don't give this place your money. The second you need anything back — even a receipt — you'll meet a manager who treats your problem as his entertainment.

This hotel is extremely dirty. The wallpaper in the hallway is peeling. Floor tiles are cracked. The elevator floor is broken and dirty. Our room smelled. The hallway smelled. The carpeting is filthy. There was a big red stain on the carpet next to the bed. The lobby wasn’t vacuumed. The front entrance was filthy. It was a disgusting place to stay.

The staff has dirty uniforms, could not get hot water to make tea to day. Stated the coffees shop is closed on Monday's. Hall floors are not vacuum, glass doors were not cleaned during my total stay.

The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable but we had some problems. Our TV was not working and needed to be rebooted. We called the first night and maintenance came about 1 1/2 hours later to fix it. The next night we had the same problem. Called again and no one came. We called the third night and they came about 30 minutes later. The room was serviced until 4:00pm the first day we were there. Also, They advertise a full restaurant and there isn’t one. You can get “bar food” at the lobby bar but we couldn’t even find a menu that listed what they had and there was no one at the bar to ask. They have a small “store” in the lobby but it was closed every time we tried to go there and we were there for 4 days. I’m rating it 3 stars because the room itself was comfy. Otherwise it would be 2 stars. The hotel could be awesome but it is mismanaged and hugely understaffed.

The check-in was very slow. When I arrived, there were two people doing that job. Then one left after he finished with the people he was helping. This left just one person who had some difficulties with the couple he was checking in. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes to check in and there was a couple behind me who waited even longer.

My WiFi didn't work. Fortunately, the two young men at the desk were able to do something involving a hot spot and got it to function.

There was a false fire alarm, which required that I walk down 5 flights of steps to avoid the elevator. I was not aware of when the all clear sounded and had to ask someone if it was ok to go back to the room, and it was.

The toilet did not flush properly. I called the desk and asked for assistance. They said that they would send somebody right up. Forty-five minutes later, when nobody had shown up, I called again. This time a man came about fifteen minutes later. He didn't really fix the flush but showed me how to get around it by holding the flusher knob for several seconds until I saw the water swirling and going down the toilet.

I had the do-not-disturb tag hanging on the outside of the door, but the cleaning lady entered the room anyway.

Stayed here for two nights for my wedding weekend. I want to start by recognizing Jesse, the Sales Manager, who was fantastic. He took the time to show me multiple rooms and made sure I was placed in a suite that fit all of my needs. My fiancé was also given a bi-level room that worked perfectly for him and his groomsmen.
The rooms we were assigned were clean, comfortable, and everything worked properly. Unfortunately, many of our guests had a different experience. Several rooms were dirty, outdated, had broken TVs or phones, and the air conditioning was not working well, with some rooms reaching nearly 80 degrees.
The property is clearly in need of renovations and better management. There was also a noticeable police presence during our stay, and the overall atmosphere did not always feel safe or comfortable.
Overall, it was convenient for our wedding and served its purpose, but I would not choose to stay here again.

It’s past its heyday - none of the amenities work - false advertising - very deceiving pictures - elevators not clean and hallways to rooms are dingy and smells like musty - carpet in room was dingy - it was clean - broken tiles - suspicious characters roaming around in hotel - as soon as I arrive there’s a male on bench rolling up a blunt - I was very disappointed - didn’t feel safe even to invite my girlfriend - I do not trust booking through Expedia anymore due to this experience - this solidifies the saying, “You get what you pay for…!” One positive thing is that the staff were very helpful and not their fault at all.

The staff were friendly and the lobby layout was very nice for my personal needs of having a small family gathering. However, the building seemed to require a bit of upkeep from the outside and there were glasses still on the table in the lobby which had been there since the night before. I had guests on Friday evening and the carpet needed a vacuuming unless they do it in the morning. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but some TLC was needed.

What was unique about this hotel was the total disregard the Owners have for its upkeep, staff, amenities and shabby condition it is and has been for years. They should be ashamed that they own it. Two staff members told me that “they were embarrassed to work there.”
Everything from the rooms being dirty, bathrooms disgusting, no hot water, breakfast food was totally inedible, the pool was locked up, the staff would yell across the lobby to each other and were dressed like homeless people.
Absolutely no security with doors without access card entry open all night.
Ceiling tiles above the bar were missing and lying on the bar. Filthy carpets throughout the lobby tha smelled.
I’ve travelled around the world and this was the wordy hotel experience I have ever had.
If you don’t want to be in the hotel business . Z sell it to someone who does.

Probably the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. Hallways smelled rooms were not clean had ants in them and smell was intolerable. My fiance runs a hotel restaurant and bar in New Jersey. He identified mold in the room and when we informed Reggie the manager he was not surprised at all, offered to buy us a drink and apologized. I will never stay at the property again and will be reporting them to the board of health.

The hotel did not match the accommodations and amenities that were advertised at the time of booking.
We reserved a room with a king-size bed but were provided a room with a queen-size bed instead. Upon arrival, we also had to wait approximately one hour to check in because no staff member was available at the front desk. In addition, several advertised amenities were unavailable, including the pool, breakfast service, and the cafe. The room and property conditions were also concerning, as we encountered a dirty bathroom, mold, and a lack of hot water during our stay. We ended or stay a day early. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay.

The property has definitely seen better days. I checked in my hotel at 3 and changed my clothes to hid to an event at 4. I returned to the property around 10pm. I drove around the property for an hour and some change trying to find parking because the hotel was having an event. Finally found parking around 12am when people were leaving. Went to my hotel room and walked into a puddle of water on the carpet. The ceiling was leaking. Went downstairs to let them know because the phone in the room wasn’t working. The maintenance man came back to the room to see what the issue was but I was busy packing my things. I was upgraded to a suite, okay cool. However, the suite was filthy. The bathroom wasn’t clean. A door was missing off the kitchen cabinet. It was white and brown stains all over the floor. The stains were all over the sofa as well. Went back downstairs and was downgraded to a double bed room when I paid for a king room. The tv wasn’t working so I went back to the desk and they said that was an easy fix. Went to my car to grab some items and they fixed the tv. Next thing you know the room wouldn’t get cool. I was told just give it a few minutes. The room never got cool it was 76 degrees in the room. I asked for the manager and they stated the manager didn’t arrive until 10am. I couldn’t wait that long as I had an early departure date. Worst experience ever for $200 dollars a night. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The building needs to me remolded.

This place is terrible No napkins, No Tissue in the room. Room is cold heat does not work and no hot water . Wanted to heat my food in the lobby microwave . Which makes no sense put microwaves in room and it was beyond filthy iam surprised it did not smell . I would not know anyway because sense COViD I don’t smell or taste things well. Then I went to ask to have it cleaned and the poor guy I spoke to could not find the house keeper to clean it . Gut was walking back and looking for what I guess was the housekeeper and could find him/her . Then the people that I believed worked there didn’t care to ask me if I needed help or even try to accommodate my needs . One even asked me something that I had nothing to do with. Terrible Terrible Terrible. I will no longer book a stay here I rather pay the extra money to stay somewhere elsewhere. Whoever owns this hotel needs to redo the whole place. They should just show up with warnings to see what Iam talking about . I come here to New York to see my mother suffering from Dementia and I would like to spend my time at a place that is comfortable after seeing my mother in her state. It sad to come back to this room and can’t even enjoy my food because it is cold because I don’t want use the beyond filthy microwave.

The worst stay! The beds were so uncomfortable that you can actually hear and feel the springs. I was lucky to get any sleep at all considering I got there around 10:30pm and was up all day and driving forhours.The carpets were questionable. Water stains/hole on ceiling. The shower ceilings were sooo low that it was hard to take a proper shower. The only positive was the workers were friendly. They probably felt bad for the people that paid to stay at this hotel. I didn’t mention anything because thankfully it was not more than one night and I was so tired that I didn’t want to argue. I just wanted out!

We got a poolside view and were excited to use the pool but it was closed the entire time, as well as the cafe. we had staff knocking on our door at 9am reminding us that check out was at 11am, never felt that rushed at a hotel. The one night stay price was extremely inflated for a place who’s amenities offered were out of order/not available. At check in, we were only given key cards and not given wifi passwords or any welcome packet. We were extremely disappointed.

The property is in need of an upgrade. The elevator floor tiles are coming up and the ceiling tiles in our room were dusty. The TV in the room was difficult to work and never allowed us to watch TV! It was very frustrating.
All in all, It was a basic room for the price and did its job for one night but highly recommend the business plans for a refresh.

If you just need a clean bed to sleep in, this is your place. The “cafe” is never open, pool closed, fountain drained, elevator floor cracked, the bar can’t take credit cards and everything is just old, no updates to anything. Room was cleanish, tiny bathroom, old carpet. Rates were definitely not based upon amenities. Next trip will be at another hotel. Staff was very nice though.

Actually, we had a terrible time as the shower was not working properly for two full days. First, we had only hot to extremely hot and got burned. Then after plumber attempted to fix the 3rd day, we had no water and had to call him back. It was finally fixed but it was extremely disappointing. Additionally, one of the reasons and prerequisite I booked at your hotel was to use the indoor pool which was not available the whole weekend/time of our stay. I dont think I will return and would like to get a partial refund as the accommodations were well below par and I paid more money than average to stay there. The cleaning lady didn't really want to clean our room even after asking her, so I just asked for towels and to remove garbage. The hallways and elevators were not well maintained and the whole hotel smelled like weed. Highly disappointing.

There were ants in our sink, wet floor, tv didn't work, and smelled horrible. The security locks on the doors didn't work, so anyone could come into the building. Our room was changed to the 2nd floor, tv didn't work, water was scalding hot, got stuck in the elevator. This place is so run down and disgusting from the 1st floor to the top. Puke in corners and dog crap on floor, it's disgusting.
The fact that they charge over $170 a night is horrendous, they shouldn't even charge $50 a night. I am so disgusted with this disgusting facility. Do NOT stay here ever!!!

The location is great if you’re flexible where you stay Suffolk County. The hotel is right next to the expressway so NYC or LI beaches are just down the highway’ish!

If you like to unwind at the bar though it is very poorly stocked and staffed. Didn’t check out the pool so no comments good or bad.

If you’re not looking at really hanging out at the hotel this might not your place, otherwise your room and location might be worth a try!

It reeks of dust pot and cigarettes smoke in an overwhelming way not like recently smoked, but like it has smelled for decades

The rugs throughout the building are absolutely vile. They are stained every single place throughout all the hallways, and there's garbage literally small amounts of it drunk throughout the hotel.

We had planned on staying another night and we changed our plans because the hotel was so filthy and we couldn't find another one easily

This was our second stay at this hotel, and unfortunately both visits came with multiple issues.

During our first stay in early April, we experienced ongoing problems right from check-in. We were required to check in and out and pay a deposit twice, which was frustrating. Once in the room, the air conditioning didn’t work, even after maintenance attempted to fix it. The TV was also not functioning and required another technician visit. On top of that, the shower had no hot water when using the showerhead—it was freezing cold—and the bathroom had a strong sewer-like odor.

We decided to give the hotel another chance this past weekend in May, but things did not improve. We woke up to ants crawling all over the nightstand, which was extremely unpleasant. The exterior access door did not lock, raising safety concerns. The hallways had noticeable fresh stains, and garbage cans were overflowing. Additionally, the front desk staff appeared disengaged and spent more time on their phones than assisting guests.

Overall, these repeated issues made both stays disappointing. We had hoped for a better experience the second time around, but unfortunately that was not the case.

I reserved a king-sized bedroom. Upon check in they said they didn't have any left, that my reservation was only \"a request\"?!!! My 6'5\" husband's feet dangled off the bed, and we had to sleep in separate beds! We had nowhere else to go as it was raining, and we had an event to get to shortly after we arrived.
When we returned, we discovered that the television was not hooked up to any network, and we needed more towels. I called the front desk several times from THEIR phone with no answer. I then called the hotel directly from my cell phone and was put on hold for 15-20 minutes. I got dressed to walk down through the awfully smelling hallway (still on hold) to ask the front desk for assistance. Eventually, I was met by the hotel rep. I explained that I was on hold for quite a while, he said I must have dialed the wrong number - my phone clearly read Radisson - Hauppage? Regardless, they did fix the TV and provided fresh towels, it was just unpleasant getting it resolved.
Room was clean, and they had a nice lounge area which we did not use, beds were creaky and we did not have a comfortable sleep due to the incorrect room issue. The snack stand was closed each time we were in the lobby. The staff was less than pleasant.
I would make sure to call ahead to confirm your room type before heading out!

The pool was closed breakfast was not included I traveled with my kids and still couldn't enjoy it without them trying to sit next to me at the bar because they was bored so in that sense we stayed in the room. At least the TV was big enough not too mention the beds was too small for all six of us I don't understand why I ended up having only one room reserved for six of us when I clearly remember reserving two rooms I spent too much money for my trip

There was nobody at the front desk for about 2 hours when I was trying to check in….long and behold the front desk associate was outside in his pick up vehicle, which was running & parked in the very front entrance of the building…

As I came out only to calm my nerves after sitting in an empty lobby for literally two hours. A gentleman hopped out of the vehicle, stinking like he just smoked not 2 but 20 cigarettes and even worse the STENCH OF WEED…sure enough that was the front desk associate. I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE IT

He was high beyond belief, not making any sense what so ever and finally after a total of 3.5 hours finally I was in my room.

upon checking in there was a sewage odor that was outside the hotel it was there the whole stay. Hallway rugs were dirty with food and drink spilled. garbage overflowing in trash cans outside of elevators. When I entered the first room I was assigned to it had a smoke smell as if it was a smoking room, mildew smell as well. The sliding glass door lock was broken and so was the extra security bar on the door, I figured a way to get the security bar down although I still was uneasy about the situation. When I flushed the toilet it would not go down, with each time using the bathroom you had to flush 3 or more times for it to go down which was infuriating and explained why there was a cesspool/foul smell outside. When I took my first shower the water was warm at best water pressure was non existent. The following day I had to shower for a wedding I was in town for and there was no hot water at all. Ice cold. I called the front desk and they said they would have someone come fix it, I could not wait for that b/c I had a wedding to attend I went down to the front desk and asked for another room to move quickly into. They let me switch rooms but there was no apology or anything for the inconvenience. When I moved into the second room, there was the same toilet issue which seems to be an issue throughout the entire hotel which is gross. When I showered again the water was luke warm, never had hot water at all my entire stay. The breakfast area was gross.

Desk fell on me, wall socket in bathroom is falling out of wall, safe doesn’t work. Wire on floor causing a tripping hazard and ceiling panel open. Ladies were polite male worker looked unhappy. Said hello first day to me. After that looked very upset or unhappy. Not saying he was intentionally rude, just curt.

The breakfast was very basic. I only had breakfast 1 day out of the 5 days I stayed. I didn’t feel it was worth $16. The staff on the other hand was excellent. Everyone I can in contact with was very friendly and helpful.

room reeked of weed. beds were small. workers are a bunch of kids in their mid 20s who sit around at the bar blasting music and hanging out. no bell carts available. ice machines didn’t work.

This property was horrible. The staff customer service sucks. The water don’t work, the rooms doors don’t lock, they have broken tv’s and management is horrible. I would not recommend this hotel to no one.

We did not have breakfast as it cost $16 and limited choices. The place ws in great disrepair and ineed of some work. The security of the building was non existent as the various doors from outside were open (without locking) 24/7. It looked like a place where people live. Im sure it was once a magnificent place but no more.

My sister and I needed a clean bed & hot shower for a 1-night stay. Room/Bed were clean but there was no hot shower! The water that came out of the tub faucet was lukewarm at best but when you turned it to shower, it was ice cold. I let it run for 20 mins without a temperature change! When I mentioned it to the front desk, there was no response (blank stare). When I asked for a discount, I was asked how I booked the room and when I said thru Expedia, they said I needed to contact them. I chatted with Expedia as soon as I got home and though they called the hotel while I was still on the chat, they got nowhere either. THE HOTEL DID NOTHING.

Parking can be confusing for finding your room. I wish we didn’t have to charge breakfast to the room or pay cash. I would like another option. Our room was hot and hard to cool down. The room was clean.

Could not locate staff to check me in when I arrived. Wi-fi didn’t work. Property looked very dated and worn. Rooms had no instructions or guidance to inform out of town guests about anything in the local area. I found somewhere else to stay even though I was denied a refund. The hotel was that bad. I recommend avoiding staying here.

The air conditioning was not working. We tried to set the air to 65° and it stayed at 74. It was so hot trying to sleep we called and they said there was malfunctioning. We waited for someone to come fix it, but it got too late so we went to bed. Also, there was not enough hot water for my daughter to take a shower and I was not able to shower.
