The room had a distorted smell almost like a pet was probably in the room and the bedding had the same smell. From pillows to blankets . I sneezed all night and I was very disappointed because I have stayed in the past at extended stay America and had absolutely no issues

The bed was uncomfortable and the walls were thin so I did not sleep well. The bathtub had dust in it so it seems it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. I had trouble getting in and out of the hotel in the morning to take my dog out and instead of someone providing assistance the door, the receptionist did nothing while the guest at the counter spoke loudly about me like I wasn’t there. I couldn’t get back in and again I hear rude comments such as “should I let her in? I’m not gonna let her in”. I was treated as if I was a vagrant not a paying guest. The women that checked me in were very nice to though.

I stayed here for 4 days. No daily cleaning service. They only clean after checking-out. There is no breakfast, just coffee and muffin 6-9am. When I switch on the air-conditioner, there is some stinking smell came. So, didn't used AC after that. $230 per night is not work for this hotel. The kitchen utils are rusty. Also, they are very strict on check-out time. They will knock your door sharp at 11am and give only 15-20 mins. Even though, I checked in late night around 1am, they have the strict 11am checkout time.

All these hotels should change from standard check-out time 11am instead they should have 24hours check-out time.

The price we pay for this booking is not worth the money.

“Breakfast” was grab and go nutrigrain bars and gross muffins, not exactly what one would consider a breakfast. Didn’t love the people smoking pot in the parking lot either. Lobby is very uninviting. But the room was clean and comfortable.

Our stay at this hotel has been the worst. This was a last minute trip to visit our son and family. We were faced with the Ryder Cup shortage of hotels and of course triple room rates.
Our room had flying bugs either gnats or fleas in our room. I collected at least 10 or more whenever we were in the room which was only to sleep at night. They kept coming in. I collected some dead in a bag.
The TV control volume was broken.
No hair dryer.
No cleaning of room even when I asked the second day.
No clean towels when required.
Dirty bathtub
For $637 a night this unacceptable and believable we should get some compensation for the stay.

Beware of this Extended Stay Suites, Melville, NY. Don’t give reviews often on Google, but this place royally sucked, checked out a day early. Absolute garbage.
1. Floors were sticky, previous spills and not cleaned? Who knows?
2. Ventilation fan in bathroom was very loud and rattling
3. Staff did not clean rooms
4. Staff did not give new sheets, or make beds
5. Staff did not give new bathing towels - you must request towels and swap yours out
6. The shower/tub backed up several times
No positives. And to charge $1k or more because of the Ryder Cup, is a crime, let alone $100-$200 per your normal rate.
This is a $50/night dive at best, if your car broke down outside the hotel - MAYBE.
Please - avoid!! This place is a dumpster fire.
**To the establishment, please, don’t post a CRAPOLA generic response about contacting me or apologizing. Anyone would be better off staying in a tent outside than staying at this place. Checked out a day early. Do better or shut down. I’d give you guys 0 stars or negative stars if it were possible**

The premises were ok. Seems like the hotel is housing homeless people.
Ample parking. Air conditioner was great. Short drive to many eateries and restaurants.
Utensils and pots have to be requested.
I definitely won’t go back.

Our room was quiet, hallways were quiet. This was a pet friendly property and we did not hear any dogs barking, we brought our own dog as well.

Negatives were that we arrived at about 10 PM to check in and I called the phone for front desk check-in and the phone was not answered after I called two or three times. No one was behind the desk and it took 10 minutes for someone to arrive. The security doors that need a key to enter from the outside were never locked and there were people hanging out by their cars in the parking lot looking like they were having some alcohol. When we arrived in our room, the bathroom sink was 6 inches full of cloudy water due to a clog. No one was in the property on a weekend to fix it. They did offer us another room, but by that time we had already unpacked everything and did not want to move. When I spilled some water on the floor and used a washcloth to wipe it up, the cloth was filthy dirty. Refrigerator was banged up. Nothing about the room looked at all like pictures on the website. Carpeting in the hallway was old and stained. Definitely a two star hotel.

Bad hotel stay!

When we arrived they said my card I paid with on Hotels.com had been declined - they said I had to [ay again to stay - I did not have tie to check with you, you have no number to call and my son and I had to get into the room so, I had no choice - why would I have to pay twice for the room when I had a receipt showing I paid? It was the worst arrival ever and I may not use this service again as a result - I think something fraudulent was going on at that Extended Stay - you need to check into that ASAP!

The paint was peeling off the ceiling and walls in the bathroom. There were no toiletries at all - no wash, shampoo, conditioner, drinking cups, nothing. The mattress SUCKED. If I had the time, would've gone to a different hotel.

Should be a \"motel\" and have cost under $200 for the lack of service or amenities......
Noisy all night, people throwing up in the hallway and shady people in the parking lot.

Clean, comfortable, updated room, friendly hardworking staff. Packaged muffins and coffee in the lobby in the morning otherwise no frills, no amenities, no daily housekeeping, have to fetch your own extra towels, TP, kitchen items ( kitchen is initially empty, no dishes, utensils, coffee maker, etc had to go to the desk to get anything you needed), but perhaps that’s the nature of extended stay? Security cameras and big security monitor in the sparse lobby made me wary about safety, but ultimately all good security wise. Some strange yelling and noise two nights in a row around 3:00 a.m. for a couple of hours, manager handled it. Would stay again in a pinch, but not alone (female traveler), our usual choices in the area were booked. Stayed 4 nights.

This Was Discovered After We Arrived Very Late At Night.
Had Unpacked All Our Things,
Food, Clothes, Accessories, Toiletries, Etc, & Then Was Getting Ready For Bed.
My Husband Went To Step Into The Shower & Surprise!!!
Water Spraying Everywhere & Only Cold Temperatures An Option.
After Working 10 Hrs & Driving 5 Hrs, We Were Too Exhausted To Move All Of Our Belongings To Another Room.
(We Have Pictures Of Broken Shower Head/Handle)
That Room Should Never Have Been Available To Book A Stay.

We Had A Packed Schedule, Due To The Wake & Funeral & Burial We Had Travelled From Out Of State To Attend. We Never Had Time To Change Rooms & We Never Were Able To Take A Shower During Our 2 Nights/2 Days In NY At This Hotel.

Also, It Was Impossible To Watch Anything But The Very Limited \"Live\" TV Channels.
We Tried Many Methods Of Trying To Sign In/Chromecast/Bluetooth/Get Apps, Following The Directions On The TV & On The Card From The Front Desk.
The Lousy Internet At The Hotel Would Not Support Any Streaming Services. We Tried At Least 3 Or 4.
Every Minute They Would Pause & Buffer & Kick You Out Of The Show You Were Trying To Watch.
We Tried Multiple Shows/Episodes & Everything We Tried To Watch Was Unsuccessful.
Very Frustrating & Really Outrageous.
Never Have Stayed At A Hotel Without The Ability To Watch A Variety Of Options.

I was unable to stay at this hotel due to unexpected travel delays caused by inclement weather. I attempted to contact the property multiple times to alert them of my late arrival, but communication was extremely difficult—emails went unanswered and I couldn’t reach anyone by phone.

Despite my efforts to notify the hotel, I was still charged for one night’s stay. Rather than working with me or acknowledging the situation, they simply canceled the rest of the reservation after charging the first night.

Travel can be unpredictable, and I understand policies are in place, but a little flexibility and basic communication would have made all the difference. I won’t be booking here again.

Upon entering my floot there was a foul order.. As i walkee to my room i observed a room door that looked like it was kicked in the bed was just short of an over sized cot that was very noisy the bed frame wasnt even attached to anything.. We stayed for two nights, the area is nice besides some shady people around the hotel outside. The room had a small kitchen but they don’t supply anything, no cups,pans, cooking or eating utensils. Even though there is a full refrigerator,sink, cooktop & microwave. No type of coffee maker in the room. The room was clean.

Stay was good until last day. We were trying to get ready to check out and the water was cut off in our room with no notice from staff. We had to find a room elsewhere to shower and get ready for our flight back home. We were charged a $100 deposit and we received a lesser amount returned despite no issues left in room and having absolutely no water our last day.

However, the lady who checked us in was amazing and even checked that we got settled in ok before the end of her shift.

A nice facility run like the Bates Motel

I was not happy with my stay. Initially, when I arrived, the hallway outside my room reeked of weed and the room across the hall had it's door open and was playing loud music. The desk clerk (who was very professional) moved my room. However, both rooms had warnings in them that the water would be turned off between 9am and 2pm the next day (making a shower impossible). I called the clerk - he knew nothing - it was not until I returned from my evening out at 11 pm that he finally confirmed the notice was old and should have been removed. Next morning, the shower worked fine, but there was no shampoo in the room. Finally, the \"continental breakfast\" was basically a choice of oatmeal, a fruit bar, or a tiny pre-packaged muffins - no fruit, no toast, not even milk or creamer for the coffee. Again I asked the new desk clerk if they had creamer - his response \"that's what we have\" and then turned away. This was not a cheap hotel (Hotels.Com rate cost me $146.00 for the night). For $20 more, I could have and should have stayed at the Hilton across the street, where I'd have been treated like royalty. I won't stay with Extended Stay America in this location again.

Spent 5 days, they gave me a room on the 1st floor and the stove was very poor, only one of them worked and make smoke while cooking also the fire alarm went on, was a very bad experience for me as a pregnant woman, the pictures on the site was very different, finally they changed my room the 4th day coz I complained about it and it wasn’t the room that have paid for . Make sure you chose the 3rd floor coz it’s better, I’m not going back I’ve paid for breakfast and there’s nothing call breakfast you give, muffin and coffee that’s it , it’s uhhhhhh 🙄
