Our room was a cute Victorian style, clean and spacious. Delicious breakfast options made in their kitchen. The Staff was friendly and helpful.
Tom
Upon arrival, the staff greeted us and showed us to our room right away. The room was clean matched the description exactly. We enjoyed a prepared breakfast that was great. Hope to go back again soon.

The stay was quite unique and pleasant! Great location, owner was very sweet and helpful! The room was delightful and just like the photos showed before arrival. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Anna
Great location and absolutely beautiful!
Tom
The home was very nice, even though some areas needed to be cleaned more often. We liked our room very much and it was comfortable and cozy. The location was great and near the beaches.
However, we were the only guests that night and we felt the innkeeper showed little interest in us and just didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, almost like she wished she didn't have to bother with us.
Breakfast, in particular, was disappointing. We didn't get the advertised \"great coffee\" from Saugatucck, but rather had to get our own coffee from the Kuerig coffeemaker and it was simply Meijers Breakfast blend. The actual breakfast seemed pretty skimpy compared to breakfasts we have experienced at other B & Bs. We were given 2 paper towels as napkins, and had to call her to get salt and pepper and jam for my wife's toast. Plus, the glass on the table was not clean.
Even though the house and location were nice, the service seemed mediocre at best.

Victoria was so welcoming and responsive. The morning breakfast she hand made us was perfect. We loved the location right on the lake and walking distance to food and drinks. Highly recommend!
Susan
Loved the cozy feeling and ambiance of the B&B. Location was great , as we could walk to the beach. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit every morning.

Amazing breakfast!

This was a fantastic historic home to stay at. It was clean, private and the breakfast was excellent every day. One of the best reasons to stay here is the beach access. The hotel is less than 100 feet from the parking lot of Dyckman Beach - a public beach. So easy to walk to each day! We wish the hotel had an ice machine and a microwave for guests.
Stacy
The bed was very comfortable! We liked how close the b&b was to the beach. The breakfasts were good, and it was nice that there was a fridge with water available. There was also a nice little deli very close by that had ice cream and sandwiches. Things we didn't like as much: there was noise from the road, the rose window allowed a lot of light in in the morning, and the toilet was difficult to flush. Overall we liked this b&b.

Awesome Getaway
The Manor is lovely and so close to public beaches on the lake. It’s very comfortable and had sweet little nooks to sit and read or have a quiet moment. Victoria is a wonderful host and keeps the in spotless and running smoothly all the time!
Myron
Breakfasts were very good. The common area in the guest house was not maintained; trash accumulated in the sunroom. The property was understaffed which explains some of the deficiencies. Some of the daily amenities promised were not provided.
Helen
Exactly what we expected.
Joy
It’s an obvious location and home that would be perfect for anyone.. but I think windows should be cleaned along with surfaces in both houses. The room where we slept was very clean. Other then that observation, the place was a perfect get away weekend.

Great Location, Charming decor, wonderful service
What a charming and beautiful place!! It's literally across the street from the public beach and a short walk from the down town. The only problem was that the BnB was so nice I felt guilty leaving. We just wanted to lay in the sunroom reading and napping all day.
The service was great! The owner was prompt to answer the phone and provided breakfast daily despite her son being in the ICU fighting for his life. That goes above and beyond for service to me and I would 10/10 stay again.

Probably ok to stay here if needed, but would not recommend; has the feel of a large Air BnB rather than the personal touch of a good bed and breakfast/inn.
Room was clean, mattress was firm. Property fairly well maintained, but somewhat overgrown. Easy parking. Comfortable sitting area in/near room. Most disappointing was staff interaction who consistently made us feel that we were an imposition. For example, guests are required to call to check in; this is done over the phone with no in-person presence. Likewise after sitting down for breakfast, we were “reminded” that we had to walk to the kitchen to place our order.

Very serene and lovely; however, we stayed at an off peak time. The app is not very useful and there wasnt that personal touch that I love about B&Bs. Very enjoyable, but proabably a one time visit. The town shuts down a bit early for me.
Audrey
Nice place but if you come in the Spring do not expect anything that they boast on their website. There was no breakfast. Not even coffee. We went down to the kitchen at 8:30 (breakfast is supposed to be from 8-10) and there was no staff around at all. The same 2 muffins and bananas sat out in the foyer for the whole three days we were there… The only staff we saw during our entire three day trip was a maintenance man. No daily brownies or any of that.
Lorance
Jetted tub in room was very nice! There were 3 choices for breakfast.
Debra
The property is beautiful and well maintained, and the location is convenient and quiet. However, I was on edge from the moment of arrival due to hostility regarding smoking on the property. Threats of fines and eviction if one is caught smoking anywhere on the property were over the top, as was the policy about food in the room. The B&B management is clearly more interested in guests following rules than in creating a warm and welcoming environment and appear to have a lot to learn about the \"hospitality\" industry. We will not return.
Clarissa
Wonderful stay very clean

Excellent
We had a very nice stay at Yelton. The room was very clean and the breakfast and amenities were amazing. Victoria greeted us and was an outstanding host. Yelton is within walking distance of everything and is a very relaxing place if you want to stay in.

Yelton Manor B&B&B&B&B&B
A delightful week stay at Victoria’s exceptionally comfortable, clean, convenient Yelton Manor. Across the street from Dyckman Beach/Lake Michigan and a block away from other beach accesses. A short walk to downtown South Haven and all it offers. To the “B&B” I would add “&B&B&B … &B” for & Breakfast & Brownies & Books … & Betsy (chef). We stayed in the Avery Beach Hotel Suite in the Guest House (shoutout to Phoenix!) and also enjoyed strolling the gardens, neighborhood, and nearby park. An excursion to nearby Douglas and Saugatuck for some finer shopping and dining is worth the short drive. I have a Cable-Nelson upright and was surprised to learn South Haven was the company’s original home. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
Richard
The property was close to both dining and beaches. It was very clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
bill
Great place, great location, very friendly staff. The only down side is that there is no meat with any of the breakfast options. A little bacon or sausage to go with our eggs would be nice for those of us on a low carb diet. P.S., I threw my low carb diet out the window for a couple of days and enjoyed the delicious french toast.
Lissa
Loved the location and the staff was the best! The breakfast was fantastic! I would stay here again for sure.
STEPHEN
Excellent Breakfast each day. Room very clean and comfortable bed. Very nice sunporch.

Great place to stay
Jamie
Great staff, great location across from Lake Michigan, super tasty breakfast, and a very cozy room. Appreciate the stay and we look forward to coming back!
Terri
The staff was so great in making you feel special! Very charming atmosphere, perfect location for going to the beach or downtown. We loved our stay at Yelton Manor!
James
Close to the beach and downtown. Will stay here again. Only minor thing was no access to ice nor a freezer but it is a B&B. Breakfast was convenient and good. Everyone we interacted with were great. Convenience store is near property. We heard another couples concern that their room was dark and chilly in the main house. We chose the Biltmore room in the guest house and it was great.
Mark
Such a sweet place to stay! The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious! Hope to stay here again!
Thanks for the lovely stay!

Super clean.
Great location. Steps from the lake. Place is super clean. Breakfasts were delicious as were afternoon treats. Victoria was very accommodating.
We were there in the off season so it was very quiet and peaceful. About 10 minutes from town.

We happened to be the only guests staying there mid week. The property was safe, quiet, and extremely clean. The breakfast was prepared every morning were gourmet.
The only negative was the shower was a little small and the temperature was difficult to regulate. Loved that it was right across the street from the lake.

It's right across the street from the Lake. Excellent location and nearby restaurants are abound. Beautiful location to visit in the fall when the trees are changing colors!
Brian
The staff was very welcoming, the breakfast was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommend you book here. We will definitely be back!

Cozy B&B with fantastic location
Great stay. B&B is literally located across the street from Lake Michigan. Our stay was in October, so not beach weather, but that in no way diminished our enjoyment of the cozy room and great location. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants in downtown South Haven (but if it's cold and rainy, maybe just drive 😉).
Thomas
Ice maker in second building would be nice.
Bruno
A meticulously put-together and beautiful place.
It was the best experience I had in a bed and breakfast so far. The rooms are beautiful, common areas as well, and breakfast is delicious. Even the complimentary chocolate gives an extra touch that makes your stay an unforgettable experience.
Highly recommend this place. Would stay here again.
