Christopher
Room was clean and well organized, I saw the staff when checking in, otherwise they were non existent (not that I needed them). I could tell the inn was rundown in the past but there have been vast improvements and I was very satisfied with my stay! More improvements to come , I hope? Overall very nice location, quiet and peaceful! Will stay again!
Khawar
There was a smell of mold coming from our room from the get go. This needs to be looked into either the carpeting or the walls etc.
Ola
It does need some improvement

Interior of the room was better than expected based on the exterior appearance. Rate is high based on the quality overall. Thw rates are one of the lowest in the area. The distance to the beach and golf course was convenient.
Daniel
Clean, but pretty run down.
Frank
Much closer to Gingerman than where I had been staying. And nicer. I'll be back.

Nothing fancy just a nice clean, quiet place to stay. Made the trip from New Mexico to compete in the national Multisport Championships At lake Arvesta. The whole experience was amazing. We’ll be back next year.

The rooms looked okay, but upon further inspection there was a roach, and many little flies everywhere. We were there too late and were too tired to do anything about it, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Amy
Staff friendly and priced right for the accommodations.
James
Staff was helpful. Rooms were large and comfortable.
Victoria
This motel is exactly what one needs for an economical, last minute, one night stay. It is clean, has the basics, nothing special, a feel of a traditional ‘motor lodge.’ It’s great to have a low cost option that is clean and offers a good night sleep after a day on the lake and an evening in a charming lake town. I appreciate these types of places when they’re clean and friendly.
Daniel
The room was clean and smelled of bleach which is good. No bed bugs. Dim lighting. Fridge wasn't very cool, need new one. Room 304.
Overall we had a good stay. Thank.you

Older motel nicely updated. Spacious room spotlessly clean. Didn't use the pool but it look very nice. Conveniently located. My only complaint was the air conditioner was fairly loud. I would stay again because it was so clean.
Lisa
Good location, quite, comfortable beds was all good. Indoor swimming pool, patio area out back to sit
Hotel is older and outdated, small office with limited space and items for breakfast, pool water cold. Carpet was filthy so bad that your feet or socks would be was black. Bathroom floor non carpet area also very dirty, cleaned up and spill but got more from the floor than what I cleaned up. Price could have been cheaper since its a older outdated motel compared to the hotels around running same prices at some locations or giving a dirty floor room,

Been staying here for more than a decade...its a fantastic deal and close to everything. Rooms are huge and spacious. Best kept secret for staying on the West coast of MI.
Tracie
Decent budget motel. Would stay here again.
Fast check in, clean room but it smelled a bit of smoke. Sink drained extremely slowly. Garbage can near pool was super overflowing and needed attention. Good value for area.
Richard
Last minute
An older property that is well taken care of, even has a nice indoor pool
Brandon
Nice rooms and super clean. Love the vintage feel of the property
Alicia
A very clean basic motel that suited us perfectly on a last minute holiday weekend. We traveled with our dog and were pleased to find a booking that would allow her at the last minute. A close drive to everything South Haven, and very neat and clean. Check in was easy, and while we didn't make it in for continental breakfast, coffee and other beverages seemed to be available all day in the office. We didn't use the laundry facilities, but appreciated that they were available had we stayed longer. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Holly
Our room is clean. The area seems to be pretty quiet. Our bed is pretty comfortable.
Laura
Room was clean and adequate for an overnight stay.
Keenah
The bowling alley is across the street as well as a pool and area to relax and enjoy the outside breeze.
Esdras
Were able to check in an hour before our scheduled check-in.
Angela
It was ok to lay your head but definitely would t want to spend any length of time.

Very nice clean hotel! Room was spacious. Staff was very kind. Location was an easy little drive to the beach and shopping. Will stay again!!!
Michael
Desk staff is very accommodating.

Would normally skip this hotel based on its rating, but a highlighted review got my attention. The hotel has evidently been updated and the room and bath were very clean, fresh, and comfortable. I took a chance and it paid off. Definitely as nice as the hotel we normally stay in at a much lower cost.
daniel
Staff was very cordial, older place no grills and could use updating but seemed clean
Mick
The property is clean and the staff was friendly but the room smelled musty and mildewed. Less expensive than most properties but I don’t think I would ever stay there again. I do need to say that the coffee they offered for breakfast was fantastic though.
Kellie
We needed a place to stay for one night and found this little roadside inn. The price was very reasonable for the general area. The property and our room were perfectly clean. The place is older and it shows but everything worked well and our room had a new vanity and tv. The bed was comfortable. Even though this is right next to the road it was very quiet. Very dog-friendly - plenty of places to walk out pup and the fee of $15 was the most reasonable we’ve ever paid. The staff were friendly and efficient at check-in.
It looks like the hotel has some long-term residents but everything was neat and it was very quiet.
There is a laundry facility here too - we didn’t go inside.
I would stay here again.

Theresa
Always love staying here... the new paint and bathroom reno look good!
David
We stayed a night during blueberry fest. Rooms they were clean and the motel was close to town. I’d recommend it.
Ronda
Just ugly. Grumpy host. It was clean, but run down. They did have great coffee though, lol
Antoinette
It's a modest hotel ..it was clean..the TV was nice ,..the bed was comfy..it was close from the downtown south haven and pier lighthouse..was also able to drive to Saugatuck which is about a 20 minute drive..the town is very crowded on weekends.. otherwise hotel staff friendly
Ester
It was pretty clean. I did not see a pool included in the listing. It was a great bonus.
Claudia
The rooms are old and in need of being refreshed.
Darren
All in all, a good place to stay
Was an older hotel and at first the room was a tad musty smelling. However, after running the A/C for a short period the smell dissipated. The bed was comfortable, room was spacious.
Linda
Great value for the money
Theo
Staff very friendly

Great price
Stayed 1 night for a fishing trip. Pruce was great and the place was clean and comfortable. A no thrills place but perfect for an overnight
Matthew
I had to clean the toilet when i got there. Carpet was nasty. There was a small blood stain on the sheet. Other than that it was good.
Carmen
Nice hotel excellent bed.
Patricia

Great stay, very helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again.
Robert

EXCELLENT STAY; EXCELLENT VALUE
A clean and quiet family run motel well worth the price! It is clear they pride themselves on cleanliness as my room was spotless. It was also a warm day, and I entered my room with the AC already running and the room cool. Thank you! Check in and check out very friendly and humble. Also provided a nice continental breakfast which was unexpected. This stay beats the comparable hotel chains so don’t be fooled. Give this place a try.
Bryan
Was on the edge of town and close enough to be at Lake Michigan within 5 to 19 minutes. Several places to eat and shop.
Kristen
Greeted by front desk warmly, roo. Was clean and bed was comfortable. Place was quiet. Slept well and will stay again. Overall satisfaction.
Barbra
I would stay there again. Nice people.
Charlotte
Clean
Leigh
The man at the front desk was covering for owners who were away. He was SO helpful and enjoyable to talk with! Gave us great tips on where to eat, beaches to visit, etc. Very clean and convenient stay!
John
The staff is very nice. We left something behind and on their own they knew we would be back a week later and held on to it to return it. We also appreciate that they take pets. We have two labradors and it was just $30 a night extra for the two, not $60. Some places we stay can charge more than half what we pay to stay just for the dogs. And the room is fully carpeted which makes it nice for us too. At the time of our stay they had remodeled the room, sink and toilet. I think the old tub will be next. Another nice thing is you cans back up to your door and it's literally 10 feet to the trunk of your car. Really handy to unload and load up again. We will be back many times.
Michael
Quick check-in. Nice clean rooms. Easy parking near rooms.
Amy
Was able to squeeze in a last minute stay. Staff was very friendly. Forgot my necessary pillow and they called right away to say they found it. Room was clean and adequate for our stay
William
The place was terrible. The rooms were dirty and unkept. When I tried to check in the man who was doing the check and started yelling at me. When I said I didn’t wanna stay there anymore he told me to call Expedia that he wasn’t gonna do anything. Left me in his office and walked away.
Shaun
Property is great, nothing to do within walking distance of property, but that is not their fault. Would definitely stay there again.
Lori
It was a nice place for the money. Very quite this time of year and close to where I wanted to go.
Sky
Nice
I booked my room online. After paying and getting my key the lady gave me a room that was already taken... she caught us right before going in. Lol all good. Room was dated but seemed well taken care of. Clean. She also said they where doing some remodeling.
Crystal
They had mouse traps all over room and roaches it was horrible
Melanie
Great Stay
I honestly wish I could've stayed more than 1 night! Very comfortable room and bed. Bathroom mat seem small to some, but didn't bother me. I've been on the road for several days & that was the best tv/cable I'd had the whole trip!! Definitely will stay again if I have a need to
Samuel
It was clean but the pillows we the size of a chicklet
Rolando
My wife and I were was pleasantly surprised with our room. Would definitely stay hear again.
Lisa
Basic, clean
Great welcome from the desk. Super friendly.
Donald
Tub not jetted
The stay was very good. Clean and comfortable. The tub was not jetted as advertised which was one of the reasons we pick to stay here.
Mike
Get what you pay for. We reserved two nights partied all day downtown went to property to sleep. Not fancy but cheapest in area close to town service was great.
Rosalie
Overall a decent place to stay.
Tracy
Need milk and cream cheese to go with oatmeal and bagels.
Raymond
I wasnt able to stay. Was supposed to be a fishing trip. The captain canceled the trip becauae of the weather. They would not refund the cost because it was two hours past the time to receive a refund. They refused to consider any refund. I feel it is a horrible business decision.
kim
The room we stayed in was nice enough, no issues. Feel like it was an issue to have extra pillows or towels. I'm not sure if there has been a high level of theft or what, but it was odd to me. The place in general was pretty run down, and the playground would probably be better removed. There were more people actually living there than I expected. We were not there for long or much, there were no negative interactions, just was surprised.
Jesus
Great Stay
Weekend stay with my wife. Great for the price. Person at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.
Mariagny
Good
Jamie
Poorly managed poorly maintained
Dennis
We had family camping less than 4 miles away. Loved the convenience and location of the motel. And, the rate was very fair. Having coffee available in the office long after the breakfast times were over was really appreciated.
Sarah
If you want to pull out your beach chairs and hang with the local squatters, this is the place for you. Def get what you pay for!
Morgan
Our experience was very negative. When we arrived later at night, we checked in through a glass window outside. When we got to our room, there were people roaming around by it. Our room smelled musky and was not fully clean. After checking the room, we noticed the windows did not lock, so we did not feel safe. We left the motel that night. When contacting the manager in the morning to cancel the rest of our reservation, he was very rude on the phone. He said there was a policy that he would not cancel weekend dates, but then refused to send the policy through email or tell us where to find the policy. He then said this policy is his own policy and that he tells people on the phone when they book with him. Fortunately, Expedia helped us to get refunded for one of the three nights we paid for.

A Good, Clean Place to Sleep
Nothing special. Good price for area if you do not need much in the way of amenities.
Yuriy
Low expectations, but it turned out very nice and clean little hotel. They even had some kind of a breakfast bananas, bagels, serial. Other hotels would advertise this as breakfast. This hotel didn't, so it was a nice surprise.
Christine
Manager was very pleasant. Exterior of property appears to have been updated. Our room was spacious, seemed to have new carpet, beds were comfortable but walls needed attention.
The price was right!
The price was right!

Needs to be cleaned a little more. Musty smell in the room and needs a deep clean
