Couldn’t use the pool while we were there. It was ready on the 5th the day we were leaving. It was a big holiday. Would have been nice to relax in the pool on the 4th. Other than that, not too bad. No envelope was left to tip the room cleaning person & I don’t carry envelopes.
Good location.
Good location.

Expensive. Not dirty, but looked like it. Breakfast hot items were eggs and make your own waffle. No meat
Pamela
Could use some updates and a better breakfast
Rebecca
Stayed here for a wedding. For the price, felt like it was very dated. They put us in a Jacuzzi room. No closet, no couch or anywhere to sit other than the bed and an office chair.
JUAN
Okay option to stay at when visiting South Haven or the area.
Pool, exercise room included are nice.
The free breakfast is just okay.

Staff were extremely kind and attentive. We will be back.

Probably wouldn't have looked too close at the little things if I wasn't so turned off by the smell in the room- seemed to get a bit better when we turned the AC on an sprayed some body spray. Didn't swim, but looked at the pool- probably wouldn't have let my kids swim if they had wanted to.

Was my pit stop before electric forest this year. The location next to a Bass pro shop a Walmart, and a beach town less then 10 mins away to hangout for sunset the night before the festival. Really helped me clear myself before the big weekend! Will defiantly be back. Also don't skip on the lighthouse, just go but at sunset!

Room was clean, pool and hot tub good. Breakfast ok. Not bad for a couple of days stay. Shower is weird it was installed backwards so you step into the shower instead of the back of the shower. This is an older property but updated. If you are expecting the Hilton on 200 a night you will be disappointed.
Wanda
Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. Room was very nice, liked the fact that the bathroom had a walk-in shower. Breakfast was just ok in my opinion. They had scrambled eggs and a waffle maker but no meat option like bacon or sausage. Location was convenient to downtown South Haven.
Isanne
It nice and breakfast is good we love our stay
Emily
Nice hotel, clean rooms, comfy beds/pillows. A little dated, but the staff were all very kind and helpful! We left our room keys in our room and there wasn’t a bit of fuss when issuing us a new key. Good breakfast, well stocked with food! Would stay there again!

Convenient location
Brad
The bed was not comfortable. I could feel the box spring through the mattress. The rooms are not cleaned daily unless requested.
Patti
The pool was too cold and the hot tub was way too hot. Very disappointing because we picked the Baymont to swim and relax. Neither was accomplished. Just warm the pool and turn down the temp on the hot tub and the place would be perfect. I’m

Rooms are dated and need repairs
Jacob
Staff was very attentive and quick to help, breakfast had a decent selection. A no fuss hotel for a quick stay.
Gary
The online pictures are deceptive. The needs some updating and repair.
The breakfast was very very limited. Waffles and powdered eggs. Yuk!!

Walls are paper thin, make sure your room isn’t near the exit door. The squeaky door opening and slamming closed all night night kept me awake most of the night and made it very hard to sleep. Also the person working the front desk did not speak very good English at all and made the check in process difficult.
Susan
Only scrambled and boiled eggs. No meat nor potatoes. Oatmeal from a packet. One lady taking care of breakfast area and she was complaining about refilling everything. One elevator (very small) sounded like it was going to explode. One ice machine located on main floor. Not convenient. Semi clean.
Stacie
Clean, staff nice, breakfast had choices
Todd
Convenient location to shopping and eats, about 1 mile walk into downtown. Room was wonderful, recently upgraded. Awesome front desk staff. These ladies were friendly, proficient and professional. Nice breakfast offering, but no meats. Pool and hot tub need cleaning, including chlorine. Shady guests after hours, somewhat noisy and inconsiderate after 11p? Overall worthwhile stay. No plumbing or AC issues. Very comfortable room, bed! Appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. Walmart was a 5 min walk behind the hotel. 2 great restaurants and 2 fast food chain eateries within walking distance. Recommended stay for travelers!
Amy
While the hotel is very old and needs updated, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and breakfast was hot, well still led and attendant was very attentive.

All and all our stay was perfectly fine. When we arrived at the hotel our room was hot. The a/c was completely shut off. And they should have some sort of outdoor seating, even if by the front door. They didn't even have any seating on the outdoor patio by the indoor pool. Just a blank slab of concrete. A few adjustments or improvements in that area. Close to downtown without the higher price so that was nice.
Gladjola

Garnet
wonderful! the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was great.
John
The front desk staff billed me for onsite parking, an amenity that was clearly listed as free, and then it appeared on my bill as a pet charge. Super shady. And the place is a dump.
AshLynn
I have used this hotel a few times before and I enjoy staying here. Staff was very friendly. My stay was fine. Very clean hotel.
The air conditioner that was in my room was so loud and squeaky, I wasn’t able to sleep or fully relax even. There were a few mix ups with the reservation as well but the staff was accommodating and very kind and took care of it.

Peter
Convenient location with very reasonable pricing.
Sarah
The rooms had a weird odor to them and the beds were terrible!
Sydney
Overall this was a great stay! The room was clean and the location was perfect! We stayed from a Friday to Monday during the Tulip Festival that was in Holland! The location was perfect to Downtown South Haven! Everything that we needed was close by making the trip smooth! The breakfast was good but small (eggs, waffles, cereal, muffins & bagels) was perfect for us though! Would definitely stay again
Poinsettia
Comfortable bed, accessible location, free self parking, reliable staff, clean room. Breakfast is not as good as the other inns/hotels. The only available protein is the powdered egg. They don't provide bottled water, not even 1.
Janine
The place had smell to it. Musty. Walls are very thin.
Mark
Pool and hot tub area seemed to not be managed well, tried using the facility and was no towels available. Breakfast was a minimum. Location ok

Jim
Rooms were clean, breakfast area was nice abd food options were ok. Location is convenient to town of South Haven and interstate.
Antoinette
Clean, comfortable rooms, and staff is extremely friendly. The morning breakfast is very good. We always stay here on our S. Haven trips.
Joyce
Not sure this hotel deserves a rating of good. It’s older. There was a hole in the bathroom door and the general public areas were not clean.
James
We stayed from Wednesday to Sunday for our son’s 6th birthday, and it was truly a home-away-from-home experience. The hotel is spotless, but what really sets this place apart is the staff. The receptionist was the highlight of our trip, she is incredibly hospitable and felt like \"everyone’s grandma.\" She went out of her way to connect with our kids and made us feel so at home that it felt like we never left.
The hotel is also very affordable, but you don't have to sacrifice comfort for the price. It’s the perfect balance. Our family had a great stay, and we will definitely be back!

The bathroom smelled of urine…there was stained towels…the hotel stunk of cigarettes and marijuana. The elevator was disgusting and not once did staff even try to clean it up. The pillows are terrible and hurt your neck. The hot tub broke and looked dirty.
Kathleen
Clean
Jennifer
If you don’t stay the entire time be prepared they’re going to keep your money. They had some kind of crazy leak while we were there and their pool looks nasty.
dawn
Wasn’t handicap accessible
Buffy
Was very disappointed in the room, was expecting a tub and there wasn’t one only walk in shower with crappy water pressure.
Laura
Weekend get away. Property is clean, quiet and so close to the beachfront and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful when the hot tub blew a fuse.
Sarah
Room was clean! Staff was helpful and friendly. Stayed 3 nights for a work trip.
Sarah
Always clean and staff friendly and welcoming.
Nancy
This place was an ok stay. There was hair on the walls of the washroom but I can see how that was mistakenly overlooked during cleaning because the shower head doesn't move much to be able to reach whoever put that there. The room was clean, towels were clean, and staff was very friendly. The breakfast was lacking but I didn't expect much because they didn't seem overly busy. It would have been wasteful if there was more items. The waffles turned out great.
Joy
Friendly staff

Pool was dirty. Broken tiles all around. My 4 yr old son cut his foot on a broken tile. Black mold/algea growing in grout lines around hottub

Staff was wonderful to me and my family, very family friendly, and clean!

When I choose a room I specifically look for a room with a bath tub (for my son) when we arrived it was a shower, my boyfriend went to talk to the lady at the desk and she explained how the pictures and description on the site was from before they remodeled and switched our room to a jacuzzi suit no extra charge. Excellent staff working here. Very nice and welcoming
Morgan
Room was very clean
Summer
We had a great stay. Nice room updated & clean. Friendly staff.. GREAT PRICE. Look forward to staying again.
Penny
The room was clean. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was hot and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.
Taja
The staff was nice and polite. Breakfast is limited - only hot food was waffles (there was bread and I suppose you could also make toast, though I didn't see a toaster). Ample parking, good location. Good value for the season in this town!
Easton
Difficult to understand staff
Shawn
The wife and I along with our 2 grandchildren 11&13 was push out of the hot tub by like 6 people that was smoking weed out the back door of the pool and drinking in the hot tub! And I don’t think that 2 of the people in the hot tub had a room there. We were very upset , the hot tub is the only reason my wife likes to stay there, and the pool was way to cold
Lakisha
Front desk staff was very rude. Saying my id was expired, but see the paper attached to it because I renewed it. Had handed it back to me and wasn’t going to give me my room. Seemed to not know what he was doing. Seem to be new owners. I will NOT be returning. Oh, pool was dirty
Myron
It was very nice
Rick
Wifi on our floor did not work.
John
Cleaner than most in the area . Staff was awesome
James
The room was clean, but refrigerator didn't work and smelled like something spoiled in there, this smelled up the room. We had to open the window to try to air out. The room was recently remodeled but the contractor did a very sloppy job, paint splatters on the new sink & counter, sloppy caulking by sink and shower, big area in corner that didn't get painted. Elevator needs to be remodeled also, makes a lot of noises and jerks to a stop.
Breakfast was a typical offering for a Baymont.

First of all , the check in person. She’s been here, I think she said 18 years. Very friendly. And helpful about the area.
The facility itself is very clean. We were assigned a room on the first floor by the outside door. So helpful when traveling with a dog.
Room is clean and updated. Bed was comfy.
Didn’t eat breakfast there. Did go down for coffee. The selection of breakfast items was very good. Waffles, Eggs, numerous cereals, fruits, breakfast bars, juices and of course coffee.
Will definitely stay here again. Have stayed in many places in South Haven. Chose Baymont because they are pet friendly. A great economical optio if you’re traveling with children and pets.

Hotel was nice and clean. We upgraded to a nice king suite. Only minor complaint was the fan in the HVAC unit in our room was faulty and made excessive noise when it ran. Overall great stay.
David
Pretty sparse on breakfast options.
Diana
Clean room. Comfy bed. Lots of channels. Hot water with solid water pressure in the shower. Kind staff.
Karen
