Quaint family run hotel
The hotel is a charming old farm property run by a family. The people were very friendly and all spoke English, at least enough to get by. The room was large and had everything we need. The beds were twins, which was not what we expected but were fairly comfortable. The pillows are huge but collapse down to nothing. There were not bed sheets over the fitted sheet, just a comforter. As is the case with many places in Germany, there is no air conditioning but it was comfortable to sleep with the window open. The bathroom was recently renovated and the water pressure in the shower might be the best I have ever experienced. We would definitely stay again.

As we didn't speak or understand German, we found that the in room booklet could have had a back to back page of English translation.
There were European pillows on the bed that were very flat and made it quite uncomfortable to sleep.

Travelled with 2 children. Family run Hotel in a classic Westphalia historical half timber building located on a working farm in Unna. Large room, clean, wifi ready and plenty of parking. Breakfast treated with local produce served in real China. Owners sat down with you as well! English speaking and very hospitable. Highly recommend

When we arrived we were shown to a room where the lock did not work properly and I asked for another room. They offered us the choice of 2 rooms in another more modern part of the hotel, and we chose the better room, which was very nice.

Wir (meine Tochter 17 und ich) wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, rustikal gehalten, für uns vollkommen ok. Es muss dem Zweck der Übernachtung reichen. Leider knackte und knarzte das Bett bei fast jeder Bewegung oder Drehung. Wenn man zu 2 schläft und einen leichteren Schlaf hat, bissl doof.der blick aus dem Fenster auf rot-braunen erhellenden Bäume die von der Sonne angestrahlt werden einfach herrlich.
Was mir leider nicht so gefiel, dass wir Zahnpasta-Spuren vom Vorgänger am Wasserhahn hatten. Aber das werde ich noch höflich ansprechen und das dürfte das kleinste Problem sein. 2 Personen hatten gebucht aber nur 1 kleines Beikissen. Einen Schuhlöffel hätte ich mir noch gewünscht, aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Jetzt freuen wir uns noch auf das Frühstück das wir dazu gebucht haben.

Das Zimmer war wirklich nicht schön, der Teppich total versifft, die Möbel (bis uaf das Bett) völlig abgeranzt, der Heizkörper im Bad rostig ...
