I stayed at this hotel for the second time during a 14-hour layover. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The food is good and freshly prepared at the requested time. My only disappointment was that the rooms were quite cold, as the heat was not switched on, which also made it difficult to take a shower. However, I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want to stay close to the airport.

The Riad was beautiful, very clean, the staff was welcoming and friendly. I booked this at the last minute after missing my flight at the nearby airport. I am glad I passed on the large hotels and chose Riad Tanjil. I had a peaceful stay, enjoying the cats, peacocks and chickens! The food was delicious and generous portions. My bed was comfortable. The Riad feels like a cozy home, very kind and helpful staff in a beautiful isolated location. Definitely not the Casablanca experience. Great for quick turnaround using the airport. Although this place is well taken care for, peaceful and relaxing, the bathroom in our room could use some updates.

This Riad (converted home) is small with 7 rooms. It is a few mins drive from the airport but is isolated. I felt very welcome and a private lunch was cooked just for me. Very hospitable. Clean, great WiFi, excellent food.

We stayed here twice, at the beginning of our trip to rest and at the end of our trip because our flight was so early. Free transportation to and from airport. Clair was such a lovely hostess very kind. She even went to store to buy me gluten free bread because of my celiac’s. Very informative about the area. The Riad itself was so peaceful. Lovely pool peacocks roaming around. Delicious breakfast. Kebir her husband drove us where we needed to go and even stopped at the store so I could buy a bigger suitcase because the shopping was sooo good!

I don’t often leave positive reviews, but I felt compelled to share one because my daughters and I truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport, making it perfect for a layover.
The staff made everything easy, especially the airport transfers, and they were genuinely attentive throughout our stay. The food we had for both lunch and dinner was absolutely delicious and loved even by a two year old —chicken Tan Jin - far beyond our expectations.
The hotel’s Moroccan style adds a unique charm, and it offers excellent value for money.

Another highlight is the beautiful garden, complete with a pool and chickens and peacocks — a perfect way to spend the afternoon with kids.

The owners of the property are lovely, and our driver was on time to take us to the airport. Dinner was great, served outside and cooked on premises, very enjoyable.

The property and rooms themselves though are outdated and tired. An old washroom which really needs to be updated, super hard beds, and just generally a run-down room.

Casablanca was under a heatwave when we were there which meant the AC was just blowing air and not cooling at all. The owner kindly got us a fan, but 44c outside and no AC was unpleasant. I understand that this is unusually hot for Casa, but it was a bad experience.

We enjoyed an amazing one night stay at Riad Tanjil, following a two week tour of Morocco. We chose this Riad for our last evening, as it was conveniently located near the airport and made for an easy and convenient drive to catch our flight in the early morning. A complimentary airport transfer was included, with the driver ready and waiting to take us to the airport at 5:45am. The property is gorgeous, with a lovely pool, lush surroundings, and resident peacocks roaming the grounds. A wonderful, flavourful, authentic Moroccan meal was served in the evening - one of the best dinners we had in Morocco. The owners are friendly and accommodating; Rooms are comfy and private. Overall it was a perfect stay to cap off a busy and exciting tour of the country. A hidden oasis and little piece of paradise outside the hustle and bustle of Casablanca.

This is not your usual airport overnight stay!

Owner arranged pick up for us arriving from the train from Marrakech. We got off in Berrechid and driver picked us up, pre negotiated rate.

We arrived at the riad and greeted by Fatima. She also cooked us our dinner which was really delicious! (A highlight actually, we ate every single last grain of rice. It was chicken tangine, rice, bread and soup. Simple but really well done!) This seemed to be included in our booking which was nice because there are NO options for anything in the area. Literally you are in the middle of the fields and farms.
You are about 10 minutes from the aiport but don't hear the planes.
The riad is also a sort of /farm/zoo. There are multiple cats, at least 4 peacocks, chickens, guinea fowl and dogs. We loved the peacocks, even though they shriek like crazy. There is a giant pool, cool water but it was still so nice to jump in.
Only downsides were that the rooms were definitely dated, beds are hard (but this is just Morocco) and the bathroom needs updating. Shower was rusty and honestly just needs to be replaced.
Owners were nice people, other reviews seem to rave about them but we had very little interaction with them. Staff/owners spend time sitting scrolling on their phones, which we didn't see elsewhere on our travels but I suppose up to them!
Drive to the aiport was also included and Simo was on time and friendly.
Overall, a great place to stay to be close to airport and avoid Casablanca.

Wow--this place is a gem. It was the perfect place to end our vacation with a free airport shuttle. It is a small guesthouse (6 rooms maybe?) run by Claire and her husband. They are delightful--so friendly and warm. We had dinner and breakfast here (both fabulous). The pool is quiet and idyllic, with the peacocks and chickens making the only sounds. The inn is filled with beautiful Moroccan rugs and furnishings, bed was comfy, and bathrooms clean and modern. They offer tours to other Moroccan cities too. We didn't have time, but judging by the kindness of the staff, I'm guessing it would be worth one's time. Highly recommend!

My husband and I are completely blown away at the hospitality and quality of our stay at Riad Tanjil. What started as an 18h layover in Morocco, became a beautiful experience of culture. We are so thankful that Simo waited so long for us to get out of the busy airport. Thanks to Claire for our chitchat and the lady who made us breakfast. Most of all, biggest thank you to Kebir, who is the reason that I’m writing this review. For an additional charge he will take you on a tour of the best parts of the city. No need to barter, because it was so worth it! For his expertise, connections, and just pure love of his country and showing others the best. He was not just our tour guide, he made the experience very special for us. We would love to come back and stay here again, but with more time to enjoy. This property has everything to make for the perfect getaway to marvelous Morocco ❤️

Riad Tanjil is a lovely place to stop over close to the airport in Casablanca, away from the bustle of the city. Surrounded by farmland, the Riad is comfortable and quiet, and the staff warm and welcoming. The dinner served at the Riad is among the best traditional Moroccan meals we’ve had in the country. The free airport transfer is a helpful bonus. Overall, a great place to rest on your journey in and out of Casablanca.

Very nice Riad. Beautiful territory around the main house. Excellent dinner with excellent tagine. Nice clean rooms. They provide transportation from the Cablanca airport and also from the Riad to the airport any time of the day. We had to leave the Riad at 3am and the van was waiting for us to take us to airport.
Excellent place to stay at night before departure from airport next morning. The Riad is located outside of the main populated areas but it has a nice territory with very good swimming pool.

Wonderful choice for overnight stay

The Riad is located approximately 15 drive from the airport. Claire arranged for a driver to pick us up from outside of the airport. The Riad is literally an oasis of green beauty with a gorgeous garden and pool complete with peacocks ! Our dinner and breakfast were delicious which was much appreciated after our flight.
Our room and bathroom (with an excellent walk in shower)was incredibly spacious with a lovely balcony area to enjoy a drink and appreciate the beauty of the garden.
The TV had multiple channels,some in English and their is a library of books to enjoy.
Claire is a gracious and professional host who goes above and beyond in making her guests feel comfortable and rested.
We will definitely be recommending Riad Tanjil to friends and family.

I am so happy to have found this place. Kebir answered my inquiries immediately, via WhatsApp. Simo was there to pick me up, and Claire was very welcoming when I arrived. What a cute accommodation! Claire, Kebir, Simo our driver and Fatima our awesome cook were all fantastic! We had a long overnight layover and this was exactly what we needed. Get picked up/dropped off, to & from the airport/riad with ease, relax by the pool, and enjoy authentic Moroccan meals! It was perfect!

There was so much I loved about Riad Tanjil. First, the price was just right for my budget. I was able to book a room at the last minute which was great. Then once I landed, the shuttle driver was there to greet me. The location of the hotel was perfect for me also. It was away from the city and traffic, nice and quiet. Once at the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful. My room was clean and I had a beauty view of the area. Food was traditional and very delicious. During my stay I was able to travel to the nearby cities and take in the culture of Morocco thanks to the staff.
I highly recommend Riad Tanjil to anyone. Because of them I have booked my next vacation back to Morocco.

The property is a gem in the middle of nowhere. Host is very welcoming and accommodating and makes you feel at home. The food was excellent and the mint tea a great way to end the day. The chauffeur was amazing and very punctual, even at 4 am in the morning to take us to the airport. A great place for a long lay over.

If you want a true Moroccan experience, this is your place!!! The driver picked us up from the airport and a special dinner was prepared for us on arrival. This place is so unique and beautiful! The staff is so friendly! We stayed during a 19 hour layover on our travels. Only 12 minutes from the airport!

Needed a place to relax after touring Morocco that was close to the airport and Riad Tanjil was perfect! I would stay here again just to be served from their amazing kitchen. The food was excellent and you have a very relaxing atmosphere to unwind only 15 minutes from the airport.
