From the photos the lobby area looked like different rooms. Unpon arrival you find it’s one big open plan area with the reception. The room size for what we booked was okay, but the bed sheets were ripped (not ripped through but had abrasions to the outside of the sheets. The bathroom was very poor the toilet seat was loose, marked on the outside and the seat had not been fully cleaned as it has urine residue still on it.
The AC is controlled by the front desk which is very bizzar. And the mini fridge is a glass panel with no way to turn off the light so we covered it with a towel.

Hotel barely - and reception involved in taxi scam
Stay was fine for quick stop. The room was dirty (found nuts and other junk on the floor). Biggest issue was the taxi transportation scam. Hotel reception offered shuttle, and “warned” us of taxi scams. But we decided to take the taxi. However, when we got in the taxi - we could see the taxi driver was calling Mr Kerin from the hotel personally and of course we got overcharged. It was clear after the fact that the hotel man works with some of the taxi drivers for a kick back. The taxi was 200 Lire more than it should have been, and driver had started the meter for quite a while before we got into the car (we entered the car and the meter was already at 162.5 TL, should have been 42-62). The hotel should check to see if there is funny business between the guy at reception and the taxi drivers. He pretends to be helpful - it he is actually scamming you.

The temperature outside was 18C and they ONLY put the AC to 19C, the AC in our room was not working but they did not care, even after I explained it was not possible to be in the room because it was ver, very hot, my wife being pregnant and with skin condition, none of that matter them, we even contacted Expedia support (is how we did the booking) and they rejected the request to connect with the hotel manager. We booked transportation to airport and they charged us 10 euros more just for paying with card. They do not have kitchen in the hotel but still they will try to sell you overpriced (4 times the price they will charge you) food, they don't even have prices on the menu, and they order the food from local places just in the corner. I do not recommend this place if you want tog have peace of mind. The area is full of hotels so you definitely should find a better one

The price was excellent, and front desk staff were very helpful. The room was fine overall, but did not look like to photo of the triple room in the Hotels.com posting. There were no chairs and no desk, and I selected that room so I would have them for a zoom meeting. I had to get a chair from another room to make that work. There was a fair amount of road noise, because the window didn’t close fully. Also the temperature was very high upon arrival, as it was set to heat to 27degrees Celsius/ 81 degrees Fahrenheit. They said it was centrally controlled so we could t Charlotte g it just in our room. They adjusted it for the whole hotel to 22 C.

I don’t recommend staying here. The facility was just okay, and it was noisy from the busy road and airplanes. The hotel manager was solicitous, appeared to want me to have a good stay, but was very tight and controlling with the breakfast, and greatly overcharged me for the airport shuttle.

They have a menu to order food , but actually it’s delivered from a snack shop down the street. However, it's surprising how the hotel has run down only after a few years of opening. The bathroom was rusty, covered in limescale. Water was lukewarm, which made it uncomfortable to take a shower. Hotel is close to the airport. Rooms are spacious but the bathrooms are tiny & dark. Don’t like the fact that the AC/heat unit is controlled by the front desk & you have to call them every time to turn up/down the temperature or fan speed.
Breakfast is a set meal that you don’t get to choose from a menu or anything. It was OK though. Wished we could’ve had the option to choose what we wanted to eat though.

Good budget hotel for short stay and great staff
I missed a connecting flight and decided to stay in Istanbul. Since it was same-day reservation I searched for a hotel in 10-20 min away by taxi. Photos of Airport express were good and total non refundable double room was $47. So I took it. The taxi was $9 to get in hotel. Hotel is under construction, but room and facilities were acceptable. Staff was however above \"acceptable\". Whatever I asked was arranged for little pay compared to the USA. I hired car with a driver for 3 hours and 110 euro and manage to see enough just for one day to stay. There is great restaurant Durumcu Musa Usta 12 min walking distance (not expensive). There is 18 min away Metro station Tasoluk. Hampton Inn even closer in same area if you prefer hotel chains.

I paid for a room of 344 sq feet, and they gave me another - as far as I understand it was 268 sq feet. I ordered one portion of food for the evening, but they brought 2 portions. I returned it, but in the morning they said that I had to pay for two portions. I refused and only paid for one portion - in cash, so that my credit card would not be charged for two.

We stayed here for our first and last day in Istanbul while we waited for our accommodations closer to the inner city to become available. I was SO impressed by how well we were treated and accommodated by all of the staff specially Oswald and Bilal. Bilal went out of his way to ensure our stay was everything we needed it to be and more and more as an excellent representation for your hotel. To be honest we were not happy with our stay. When we first got into the room the heating was on 26 and very hot. We had to call 3 times to get someone to turn on the AC. Apparently the only solution was to completely turn off the system. The windows were stuck and would not open, The bathroom was still in renovations with parts looking very gross, the faucet is old and stained. And the bed was very hard. Also your hotel is rated 4 stars on Expedia and I would give it a much lesser rating.
