My wife and I made the best of it. The staff that takes care of the rooms were very pleasant. Outside of them the rest could use a course in manners and respect.
The smell of sewer is a bit much for me. Once you exit the casino especially at the resort towers end where our room was located.
The buffet was delicious with a good variety of food. As well as the dinner and a show. The show was amazing with the horses and knights. They really keep you interacting with the whole show which was fun. Especially if you have children with they will enjoy it and eating without silverware.
Overall I really enjoyed it. Outside of the smell and rudeness of the staff. Would I recommend it probably not. But you live and you learn right.

Came here to try the All inclusive deal that was offered amd was definitely happy with the process. The buffet was better than I imagine and the casino had plenty of slots to choose from. The staff were helpful and was able to get a early check in. The rooms was clean and nice and cold due to the 110 plus heat outside. Hallway was quiet even when quest started to show up as the week went on.

We didn't go for the room. We went to he in Vegas and stay on the strip. For the price it was great. We mostly slept in the room and were gone the rest of the time. But the tournament of kings was great and a good time. Recommend that dinner show to anyone. We enjoyed our trip and stay at the Excalibur.

Room was nice, clean, quiet, and was refreshed daily. The rental car being located in the hotel was incredibly convenient. Hotel is close to everything. Margie at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Easy self check in and out. The only issues I had were the location of the check in/out vs. the rooms being on the whole other side of building so you then had to drag your heavy luggage all through the casino, on carpet which made it harder, to get there. Also, the food court in the hotel seemed to close early for the strip, we often came in 10-11pm and everything but one restaurant would be closed.

You're being charged for amenities that you don't even use. You have to go to a kiosk now to check-in your room and get your room keys. I get messages from the resort telling me I can look at my bill.But every time I try to do it, it doesn't come up. We only stay at this property because it's one of the cheapest on the strip. They ask you if you want to upgrade to a remodeled room for quite a bit more money?

The check in was better when we dealt with a person, I was assigned 2 rooms by the check in computer 4 floors apart from my elderly ( both 80 yrs old ) parents. I had to get in another line and waited about 45 minutes to get it corrected. The check out was a whole lot easier when we were able to check out on the room TV. Very disappointed with the check in and check out , been coming to excalibur for my week vacation for about 15 yrs in the summer, not sure If i want to deal with this again

I stayed in the newly renovated tower. I enjoyed everything including the hotel room, spacious bathroom & shower, the pool, poolside service, the food, spacious casino, and convenient drop off pickup spots for rideshares. The only thing would be to brighten the room with more lighting, it was dark.

I called housekeeping to clean and replace all bedding since everything was dirty, in which they sent someone to clean the room but the dresser, desk and sink was never cleaned. I really thought Excalibur was better after MGM took over, guess I was wrong. Won’t stay there again.

They don't have valet, bell desk, or front desk clerks anymore. So make sure to plan to park in self parking, take your luggage up to the room, and long lines to check in at self check in kiosk machines. More than half of the kiosk weren't working and almost every person was having an issue using them. When I went to check in, my confirmation # didn't match what they had so I used my name and check in & out dates.

My family and I finally had a vacation in 7 years, but the experience was THE WORST experience I ever had. The person that work at the kiosk are VERY rude! Honestly, I don't think some of them knows what they're doing or probably they don't like or happy with their job. They walking around holding ipad. When we asked, how long are we going to get our text, they keep saying couple of minutes, couple of minutes, and couple minutes turn into 2:15 hours.
And also had a bad experience at the Dillards restaurant. The worker that works there, she is so RUDE, i want to asked her about my order, and she pretend not hear me, and when you finally gets her attention, she made a gesture like hurry up with her hand and ask a question.
I have never experienced rudeness like this with costumer service, this is unacceptable!

The check in with a kiosk is not that fun as there is really no front desk ppl at all, also the pool hours not that great ( closes at 7pm) the room and resort overall very clean, the price was great

The bathroom in my room was dirty. There was water on the floor. Blood in the shower, and a dirty wash rag under the sink. Ill called house keeping and asked for cleaning supplies for these things. I was told house keeping would come and they never showed up or dropped off any cleaning supplies.

The room could’ve been cleaned more. I know it was newly renovated but the best thing the staff could’ve done is scrub the toilet bowl. There was filth in the water flush area in the drop tank (place where waste falls). The A/C unit was dirty, and my reservation didn’t get me a good view (got a very interior view of the main A/C exhaust vent. The buffet was good, albeit pricey, but I’m in Vegas so that’s what I expect. Compared to other Vegas resorts, Excalibur had A LOT more casino floor, and the top floor felt like a generic shopping area.

Check in is a pain. You check-in at the kiosk, wait for a text that never comes for your key. After waiting 45 min I found a very nice gentleman who assisted. The food court is lacking, several places are not open. The buffet is only open weekends for brunch. The fast food options available don’t care, you order on a kiosk there as well and make you wait over 30 min. for your food. But, I guess you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately this is the last time I will be staying at the Excalibur. We booked two rooms and they separated us into two different towers on different sides of the resort. We had to stand in line for over three hours waiting for Any assistance only to be told that because we used a 3rd party to book our stay that they were unwilling and unable to move US rooms unless we we're willing to accept a downgrade and have the room no longer handicap accessible for our member in a wheelchair. We also tried to extend our stay by one night which ended up resulting in us having to wait in line again for two hours only to be told once again that we would have to rebook an entire new reservation and change rooms. They only have one customer service representative for non premium members of their casino and two customer service representatives for premium members, Everything else is done by self serve kiosks which cannot actually provide any assistance beyond checking in and checking out for already established reservations. Even if all you want is a receipt you have to stand in line as the kiosks are unable to provide one. I definitely understand the appeal of technology but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had not only in Las Vegas but with any hotel I have booked through Expedia. I will gladly pay a little bit more to stay anywhere else in the future! This is really sad as my wife and I have been staying at the Excalibur for over 20 years. But never again!

I’ve been going to Las Vegas since 1995 for my honeymoon and I stayed in boardwalk casino behind the MGM. I like the Excalibur cause it makes me feel like Cinderella you need to put microwave in the room because your food is too high. It hurt my heart that I paid almost close to $20 for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and didn’t eat it cause the food just didn’t taste right that’s the only issue I had

The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was showing signs of wear and tear. The front staff was "average" helpful, meaning they did there job....but didn't show any "extra" effort to give it that above and beyond mentality. The pool was nice. They provided plenty of towels. However, the music was blasting so loud that it was hard to relax. Certainly would have appreciated more/better signage. I felt like I was walking too much to find the area or which door to the outside, that I was looking for. All that said, the price made it easy to overlook the little annoyances.

From the beginning at check in the gentleman was very little help, he wouldn't listen to the issue as I was trying to check into both rooms I reserved, he was quick to push me to the side. I was told 20.00 to connect both rooms per night. But was charged 20.00 per room per night. I was told 50.00 food credit per room per night and was only given 50.00 per room for the entire stay which was 3 nights. Both the connect rooms fee and the food credit were very misleading.

Rooms weren’t cleaned.. keys given to us with bed still unmade, floor visibly dirty, dirty towels, etc. The check in process is absolutely terrible - they have you wait in line to check in using self-serve kiosks now. And then after you do the kiosk, you have to wait for a text. Once you get the text, then you have to wait in line for a second kiosk station to print your own room keys. The pool area and everywhere outside the hotel smelled like terrible sewer. Don’t expect to watch TV because it doesn’t work.. it’s like having a TV with an antennae and 4 static channels. The male manager is SO RUDE!! The worst interaction I’ve ever had with someone supposedly in “customer service”. He needs intensive customer service training if he’s going to stay in that position.

The room was big and clean and I loved the bathroom, the only problem we had was the tv. It was old and outdated and definitely needed to be replaced with a newer one. Volume button had to be put up to 80 to hear it, the picture wasn't that clear and you never knew what channel you were on. Definitely needs to replace it. Parking was way to high, especially since we were staying at your hotel, stayers need a break on the price, especially while staying and paying in your casio and spending money on gambling there also.
