This hotel is conveniently located near the beach and the main ave, where you can find shops and places to eat. The staff at the hotel are very nice. The bathroom, while spacious, did have marks on the mirror, giving it the appearsnce of being old. The bathtub had some black, mold-like stains in the corners. Also, there is a glass that covers half of the tub, there is no curtain, so water from the shower easily splashes onto the floor. Not a huge amount, but enough that I would have to clean it up with a towel.

One thing was about the availability of the double bed! I am not satisfied with the attitude of the staff. Second was the cockroaches I have seen in the bathroom and the room. This is quite unacceptable. So in this regard I am not satisfied, overall, with the hotel.

Fabulous little village with an Amazing beach. Hotel was let down by the terrace which was a basic balcony and the glass was broken and some weeds on the cracks of the paving. Breakfast was really a continental without the salad bits and served in a strange room with no view. Not quite what you would expect from a 4star hotel at the price we paid.

Close to the beach and big rooms.

The rooms were certainly big enough and they were cleaned regularly. Unfortunate though we chose the hotel for the roof terrace pool and bar to be told they were closed until the summer. Additionally the ensuite regularly smelled of drains and the shower ran on the same setting between glacial and boiling. The bath had jets in it which didn't work and we were told we had to pay extra for that. A good holiday was had but sadly it was not what we thought we were getting and poor communication from the hotel didn't help.

Arrived around 01:00 because our flight into Malaga airport was delayed. The front desk managed to get our party some milk and bread rolls. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the basement was rather on the small size but the breakfast had variety and adequate. The hotel is situated right in the middle of residential blocks. Parking outside the hotel is limited due to the flats around near hotel. The hotel does have parking, in the basement, at a cost. There is also a rooftop bar and swimming pool where you can enjoy views of the beach and the sea. Value for money hotel.

Ok, maybe not really a 4 star hotel, but clean with large rooms. Would be nice to have real mattresses rather than just some water proof cover. Rather good breakfast, lacking vegetables though. Parking was more expensive than stated. We reported the light by the bathroom mirror was out after the first night, but it didn't get fixed during the week we stayed.
Even though there are shops and restaurants in the area, the best thing is the beach. Quality of restaurants are ok, but much better in Rincón de la Victoria close by.

The worst hotel

It's not 4 star hotel, it's only two star hotel. I will start from a room: there are two single beds connected together not comfortable at all, very dirty floor and shower, there is no even toilet brush in a bathroom. Food was all 9days the same!! There is a swimming pool bar and works only from 1pm till 8pm , food over there is frozen and sunbathing beds are the worst I have ever seen!!! All broken, old and dirty!!! Swimming pool is very small too. There is no bar or dinner after 8pm at the hotel. Also WiFi is ONLY downstairs in a reception! NOBODY speaks English in the whole area, not a word only Spanish and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING what to do overthere, as well the beach is bad, dirty black sand and stones, it was hard to relax beside the beach. The good thing that it's cheap overthere.
We will NEVER EVER come back here!!

It's ok, but a bit expansive for what you get.

We have been there for 1 week holiday... We were a bit disapointed when we looked out of window and when we saw the breakfast. Not so many options at the breakfast or maybe we are used to higher standards compareing to a hotel chain. Later on we saw that for this price we could have stayed at AC Hotel Marriott in the city of Malaga (you don't need to pay for the transport in the city). The good part of the hotel was that on the rooftop there is a nice view with a swimming pool.

Nice Hotel with Great Terrace Pool but Lacking Little Comforts

Overall we had a decent experience at the Cala Bahia hotel. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooftop pool is absolutely amazing with a great view of the beach and surrounding city! Our biggest complaints are with some things in the room. The shower was always an adventure. The water constantly rotated between cold and scalding hot (literally you can't even keep your hand in it!). We stayed for four days and never once had a normal temperature, so it seems this is the norm. There was also only a single towel hook in the bathroom and this fell off the wall! Normally this isn't such a problem but when you have many wet things from the pool and beach, there is literally nowhere to hang them. Finally, the wifi only works in the lobby. You can get a cable for the room so it will work there with your laptop but that's obviously not helpful if you often use your smartphone. The neighborhood is nice; definitely all locals and very few tourists, which we enjoyed. If you need to get to Malaga there is good bus service between Cala Moral (the closest stop) and the city, but it takes about a half hour. We didn't mind this since we were mostly there to enjoy the beautiful beach which is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

Unpleasant attitude from Reception Staff

The hotel is fine, the reception staff were not. They are focused on charging the hidden extras (car parking, hiring an internet cable etc) and have no idea about giving customers a good experience.
I was given a room where the temperature (sunny day) was massively hot. The air con did not work and the receptionist literally screamed at me that it was because I had opened the window. Of course I opened the window because the room was too hot to even breathe in. Overall very bad attitude and not interested in giving a suitable room and I was told that the only way to get the room to a good temperature is to close the window and STAY in the room until the small air con unit cools the space. Can I leave the room in this time ? NO, again shouted. If you leave the room the air-con goes OFF. So what do I do ? No response from staff...
The hidden cost of hotel parking is not mentioned (€10 a day) and nor is the forced rental of an internet cable.
Hotel generally OK, staff on reception have zero customer awareness at all.

This hotel has very friendly and supportive staff and is located fairly close to the beach.

The spa is great and relaxing. The bad thing is that it is located in a small town with not too much to do around, it was hard to find a place to eat around. It may be because of the season, we were there in the beginning of July.

Marta was delightful and extremely helpful.

The hotel was exquisite. Breakfast was extra special serving just about anything you want. The receptionists were cordial and very helpful. All spoke English. We arrived a day late because we got lost. We called several times to report where we were and Marta each time tried to talk us in. When we arrived in the village she even stood on the porch to watch for us. She served us coffee after we were checked in and again when we were in the long using WiFi. She is a delightful person with a caring attitude. We would certainly stay there again.
Malaya is only a 20 min. bus ride from there.
There are many places to eat and shop and a nice long walk on the spotless malegon is not to be missed.

I would go back in a heartbeat! We felt welcome from the minute we arrived - everything was neat and tidy and comfortable. The hotel was quite close to the beach - we had fantastic weather and from the pool on the roof you are surrounded by views of the Med!! Absolutely amazing.

I would have expected better for four stars. The room was a good size and very clean although the bath tap didn't work, only the shower.

The location of the hotel is a little north of Malaga. A nice little village and the hotel is queezed in between other buildings. Reception spoke english very well and was very friendly. Rooms are large and clean and bed comfortable. A package was mailed to me to the hotel but the reception refused it and it is lost forever. I even had asked them first if it is OK to have a package mailed to me there. But the hotel was great otherwise and would stay there again. I prefer staying there much more than at locations like Terremolinos. There is free Internet in the room, but you need a cable for it. No free wireless.

Ab &:00 kein Sevice, Betten nicht gemacht, kein Getränk oder Früchte zum Empfang. Für ein 4 Stren-Hotel nicht akzeptabel. Beim Frühstück keine \"Sonderwünsche\",wie ein Spiegelei, laut und das Personal putzt, bedient sich vom Buffet. Auf dem Zimmer gab es nur frische Wassergläser auf Anforderung. Das ist kein Hotel, eine Jugendherberge in Deutschland ist besser geführt, dabei hääte das Hotel enorme Möglichkeiten, aber wo keine Führung, kein Erfolg!!!

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Eigentlich ein schönes Hotel. Empfang bombastisch, da denkt man Wow! Das war's aber schon. Der Teppichboden in den gängen sowas von versifft. Schimmel im Bad. Frühstück gibt's im Keller!!! Keine Fenster kein Tageslicht und niedrige Decke. Das Hotel verfügt über eine schöne Dachterrasse das leider zerfällt. Der Fußboden aufgequollen eine stolper gefahr.

Quando fiz a escolha do hotel, um dos motivos da decisão foi por ser de frente para o mar com uma piscina no terraço. Para a nossa surpresa, no final de semana, a piscina estava proibida aos hóspedes, porque o hotel a reservou para um evento privado. Lamentável! A piscina faz parte da hospedagem, inclusive a foto propaganda do hotel é a piscina no terraço

Tardaron en entregarnos la habitación. Nos encontramos la tarima rota por entrada de agua en dormitorio y el suelo sin limpiar a la entrada. No funcionaba bien la caja fuerte. Accesorios de aseo de cortesía que se esperan de un cuatro estrellas, ausentes. Pegas en el pago con efectivo.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, Parkplätze sind mit viel Glück kostenfrei zu bekommen. Wir haben den Tiefgaragenplatz für 11€ den Tag gewählt, weil alles voll war.

Hemos estado encantados con todo.

Me ha sorprendido la calidad-precio que ofrece el hotel. Entienden perfectamente que no se puede proponer un precio muy por encima, de lo que parecería lógico por la cadena para enriquecer a sus accionistas, a tenor de la época del año; apuestan por mantener las instalaciones vivas y, así, su personal. Cuenten con que lo daré a conocer entre mis amistades y en las redes sociales que comparto.
No descuiden el mantenimiento, pequeños detalles como bombillas fundidas, ausencia de tulipas en lámparas de pared, cambio de la alcachofa en la ducha; pequeños detalles de abandono que en poco tiempo desmerecerán el trato y la buena política que les anuncié anteriormente.

Hemos estado 3 noches y la verdad que muy bien. Muy atentos y trato muy agradable. El hotel muy bien situado dentro de la Cala y la piscina espectacular. Las habitaciones grandes y bien equipadas. Muy bien en limpieza. Hay que mejorar algunos pequeños detalles como son la TV, muy pequeñas y sin calidad de imagen, algunos desperfectos en el mobiliario y cuarto de baño, insisto, pequeños detalles. Плюсы:
1. 3 мин до моря.
2. Очень приятное обслуживание, на ресепшн знают английский, помогали со всем чем просили.
3. Просторный номер, хорошо оформлен, просторная ванная.
Минусы:
1. Интернет не всегда \"тянет\".
2. Наличие ванны \"джакузи\" не означает что она будет работать, не хватит напора воды.
3. Рядом с отелем площадка где местные кушают вечером. Может быть немного шумно, зависит от того, куда у вас выходят окна.

В целом отличный отель с мелким недостатками, оправдывает свою цену.

Hotelli on ihan ok kuten myös huone. Hieman kulunut hotelli ja kylpyhuone vähän tunkkainen. Sängyt leveät ja minun makuuni sopivan jämäkät.
Pieni allas ja auringonottoterassi katolla ihan kivan oloinen ja hyvät näköalat. Maksullista Spa’ta ei kokeiltu.
Ympäristö ei erityisen kaunis. Jokunen edulinen kahvila ja ravintola lähellä, kuten myös ruokakauppa.
Rannalle pari sataa metriä parkkipaikan ohi ja talojen välistä. Kuiva ranta hienoa hiekkaa. Merenpohja kivikkoinen joten aallokossa oli hankala päästä uimaan. Tämän takia ei ollutkaan meille rantaloma paikka vaan lähinnä yöpymispaikka Malagaan tutustumisessa.
Malagaan bussi M160 muutaman kerran tunnissa parin sadan metrin päästä. Matka vei 25 min ja maksoi 1,7€. Lippu kuskilta.
Hotellilla maksullinen parkki, mutta löysimme ilmaisen paikan tien varresta hotellin edestä.
Hotellin henkilökunta ystävällistä ja auttavaista.

Hotel muy bueno en cuanto calidad/precio. Lo que más nos gustó fue la piscina en la azotea. Hemos repetido la estancia dos años seguidos. Muy contentos.

Teniamos la feria justo debajo de nuestra ventana y nadie nos informo .solo pasamos una noche.pedimos cambio de habitacion pero fue imposible decian por lo que nos tuvimos que marchar.muy mala atencion por su parte.

Muy complicado el poder aparcar el vehículo

El hotel se encuentra situado en una zona céntrica, pero con muchas dificultades para poder estacionar el vehículo, en verano debe ser horrible, por otros lado, el hotel tiene buenas instalaciones. El horario del SPA muy limitado, apenas una hora diaria solamente.

Vejret var super skønt med en smule vind der gjorde det muligt at benytte tagterrassen, der ellers ikke er \" brugbar\" uden en smule vind da det ellers vil blive en sauna.
Firstjernet hotel?, måske hvis man dømmer efter receptionen, rest af hotel er mørke områder med meget dårlig/forfærdelig belysning i gangområder, værelse var ikke det lækreste, badeværelse med knækkede flise m. hul i væg, vinduer og spejle var ret snavsede med manglende pudsning, mgl. gulvvask, restaurant lukket ned, morgenmadsrum i underetage u. vinduer med dagslys.

Esperábamos más. Piscina pequeña y sucia habitación incomoda y sucia. Para aparcar era imposible y el parking del hotel cuesta 15€ el día... una locura...

Dormir solo para 1 dia

Se duerme mejor en el colchón de mi abuela.de siete días 1 fueron a limpiar a las 3 de la tarde.tampoco se preocupaban en limpiar mucho.si que te limpian los bolsillos por que el Parking de coche te cobran 10 euros al día. Pero ojo en verano te cobran 15 euros. Metí el coche jueves por la noche y lo saqué el domingo a las 11 y me cobraron 3 días. 45 euros.el hotel tiene buena presencia los trabajadores educados y la piscina no me gustó. No tiene socorrista y la piscina un color amarillo.

Super beliggenhed, 100 meter til strand. Man kan finde restuarenter på en radius på 300 meter fra hotellet. Ok værelser med terrasse, ikke luksus og heller ikke 4-stjernet som der bliver reklameret med. Rengøringen kunne man godt blive bedre til. Morgenmadsbuffeten anbefales ikke, småt udvalg med lav kvalitet. I helhed giver vi den 3/5 stjerner.

Bel hôtel, calme, bien situé et proche de tout.

Position fausse sur la carte Microsoft. Pas de dépose minute car rue étroite et jamais de places de libre. Portes des chambres claquent. Groom à régler. Climatisation pas branchée, heureusement pas de bruit fenêtre ouverte. Café et croissant peu goûteux mais buffet copieux et varié. Manches veste en lin donnée à repasser restées froissées. Personnel très sympa. Belle piscine. Télé en allemand, pas en français. Court séjour globalement très bien.

Sehr ruhiges Hotel, das Bett sehr Bequem, großes Zimmer!!! Freundliches Personal, Nur etwas im Nachteil, das Frühstück es immer gleich, kein Überraschung, kein gute Käse oder zerhackt Frucht!
