Good location. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Free safe in the room. Breakfast and evening meal were very good. Staff were friendly. Beech was very clean. We were managing to find free parking spaces in nearby streets.

8 euro for a sun lounger per day is a steep price. Hence, we did not use them. Piña colada in the beech bar was awful.

This is a no frills hotel right off the beach. It is old but conveniently located and includes a nice breakfast. Parking in front of the hotel was fullcl but I was able to find street parking quickly. A good value option.

Lovely Room with Sea View

We loved the hotel and have rated it highly because of our experience. The room was clean, the view was great, the staff were pleasant snd friendly. The location is good with bus stops close by with regular service to Malaga or Torre del Mar / Nerja. I would not hesitate booking again or recommending to family or friends. Good restaurants nearby and Salvador bakery opposite is lovely.

It’s a traditional Spanish hotel ; don’t expect new trendy interiors and bear in mind the resort is very Spanish (it helps to speak a few words). This is not a ‘Brits abroad’ resort, and is the reason I visit every year.

Great hotel almost on the beach with super sunny balconies

Spotless hotel in fantastic position right on the seafront, with sunny balconies where you can watch and listen to the waves crashing on the beach! It is surrounded by a mile of restaurants and beach side bars, most still open mid October. The resort lacked activities, but great for just relaxing in the sun, enjoying super seafood. The
sunloungers on the sand, most with bar service, were very popular, but few people were swimming, maybe due to the dark gritty sand? Everyone seemed very friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was very good, with ample choice including cold buffet and hot \"English \" breakfast.

Great location and sea views.

Clean simple hotel right on the beach with bars and restaurants and shops in location. The rooms were being decorated while we were there. No disturbance. Our room had a single connecting door to a single room.So not secure or any sound proofing. We could hear the guest on her phone and her phone constant text pinging. We could also hear her shower. Hotel said they had never had a complaint about noise before. We were relieved when she checked out. Then we heard snoring from the room on opposite side. The air con drowns out other sounds. This is an old hotel so not much insulation. We also had a cockroach in our bathroom from behind the bidet. The hotel treated it immediately. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as there are lots of bakeries and cafes in the street where breakfast was available and cheap. There was a mini bar in the room also a safe. The shower was spacious and simple toiletries provided. The weather was poor in March and we had sand storms so didn’t get to sit outside at the hotel bar. But the balcony provides excellent access to lovely sea views.

Our previous stay was much better, in part because the room we had this time was not only bare but had a third bed we did not ask for and that we could not get rid of. Location is very good, but the \"amenities\" are 3-star.

Always stay here when in Rincon and find it ideal on price and location. However,the place is now getting a little run down and shabby. Our room this time had the grille hanging off the a/c, very loose and wobbly toilet seat and a shower that wouldn't stay high enough to get under. That said, they are in the process of a refurb, so things may well improve. Staff,as usual,excellent.

Very well located overlooking the sea and directly opposite a bus stop with a regular service to Malaga centre for 1 euro 70 each way. Rooms are adequately furnished with comfortable beds, although cleaning could be more thorough. Staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves good value meals of good quality (and open every day, which most restaurants in town are not in winter).

Stayed at the hotel whilst attending a wedding locally along with several other guests. Staff were helpful and friendly. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but there was an extremely good choice. This Hotel is in a perfect location right on the seafront. It is very clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Make sure you get a sea view room, there aus a surcharge worth paying for. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful! Breakfast is good with a buffet of hot and cold food.

Rincon Sol is a nice hotel that is on the beach. The bedroom was very clean, bathroom clean but showed signs of being dated. Take your own hairdryer as the ones in the bathroom are not very good. Staff where lovely and helpful.

Staff are for the most part welcoming. Charging 10 euros extra for a useless seaview when you have rooms that are available on the sea side is ridiculous. Parking is also difficult as you have to double park in front of the hotel. Breakfast was good. Close to beach and bus stop.

Owner went way out of his way to help me w/ local friends @ Notary & also City Land Registry office !!! Would never go elsewhere in Màlaga

Room wasn't Clean, Bed was not comfortable, Internet WIFI Not connecting more then 5 mins on first floor.
Ever time I ask Staff they say don;t worry will reset and should be ok but still same I inform staff so many time in the end i give up.
We also had half board food was only fish ever day there was no options for Vegetarian food at all.
very disappoint will never go same hotel.

Lovely Hotel

This hotel is 10m from the beach of Rincon de Victoria, it's a nice hotel ,very clean and the staff lovely. Our room was a little dated but spotless clean, towels changed every day,beds made before lunch. Good Wifi throughout the hotel and also in their beach front bar,ask for a room with a sea view if possible .
We will return .

hotel very tired and bathroom cleanliness in shower sliding rails etc ingrained with dirt. room size generous albeit crammed with settee and two chairs because it must have been a family room there were only two of us. The supervisor/ manager never looked up to acknowledge or speak he was far too important good job his underlings didn't learn that particular skill. Couldn't recommend to anyone.

Spacious room with two double beds and balcony overlooking the pedestrian promenade and beach. (If you don't ask for sea-view you will be overlooking the main road). Well equipped bathroom with a decent shower over bath. Friendly staff. Excellent daily cleaning. Sun-beds available on beach. Best value is room only or B&B. Plenty of local choice for late lunch or dinner.

Not a four star hotel.

We arrived 10 minutes before check in and we couldn't get in our room for another hour plus! Hotel staff were not very accommodating and told us we could get changed in the public toilets and we could keep our cases in a cupboard. When we finally got our room it was clean but the beds were horrendous very uncomfortable and every time you moved the bed squeaked which would wake you up during the night. The air conditioning in the room wasn't great. The hotel location was not what was expected we thought we were staying in Nerja but it was actually two bus journeys away that took the best part of two hours. There is not much to do in the area wouldn't recommend it.

the beach at this hotel was very nice, good that the hotel faced the beach.
we were very disappointed with the room, the walls were as thin as paper, you could hear everything that was going on in the rooms either side of us. very noisy sounds of furniture being moved around ,people talking music playing well into the night.

This is NEVER 4* standard NOW.All above were average. Staff,apart from Pepe, a waiter should go on a hotel PR course.
Food was the biggest problem.Never hot ,very little variation in selection .Wanted ice cream with my dessert,told not possible.Food was well cooked.Breakfast same every day.Bacon,fried/scrambled eggs,beans,chippolato type sausages and a potato fried item which was tasty.Very limited selection of bread/rolls and cereals ok.On last day did see light yogurt.Keeping food hot out on display was a joke.A door(to the outside) close to the food when opened,must have blown all the grim onto the food too.
Would I recommend this hotel,sorry no.This is the 1st time in 40 years travelling I've never recommended an establishment even with reservations.
On our next port of call on this trip was the Costa Laga hotel in Torremolinos ,a 4*too but like night and day to the Rincon Sol.

Good hotel close to beach and facilities

We knew of this hotel due to previous visits to Rincon. We only wanted accommodation and it was perfect for us in this regard as we have friends living close by. We could not fault the hotel and it has a good reputation generally. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities for an early morning drink, but as we believe the Spanish do not go in for cups of tea first thing in the morning we did not expect one. It did have a fridge though which we found very handy.

Excellent staff, warm welcome, nice hotel with good sized rooms, but no tea/coffee making facilities, but had a mini bar and you were advised of the charges. The location of the hotel was good, accessed onto the promenade and beach, but you were charged €3.50 per day for use of the sun lounges, which also had shade facilities, which were very useful in hot weather. The breakfast was the same every morning and limited choice, compared to other hotels we have stayed in. Plenty of restaurants along the promenade and places servicing tapas.

Great hotel for beach and travel.

Right next to the beach, this hotel offers both the beach life and easy access via public transport to Malaga and beyond. Cafes and shops nearby offer a selection of goods. A wide promenade goes all along the back of the beach. It's safe for children and is a great way to stroll or cycle by hiring a bike from the hotel. Buses stop right outside the front of the hotel and bus fares are much cheaper than the UK. Arriving in Malaga, the visitor can walk along the newly refurbished harbour enjoying the many cafes and shops or take a boat ride around the harbour. Trains depart from the central railway station to other parts of Spain. The Information Office is just a couple of steps away from the bus depot and the staff are very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is well unassuming and well run. The decor is simple and clean, the restaurant was very decent and the housekeeping was efficient. The hotel is beautifully located right on the beach. It was off season so the town was quiet. There were many restaurants serving traditional food from the area, as well as grocery stores, a few Chinese restaurants, a Burger King and a market on Wednesday mornings. The taxi ride from Malaga airport is about 40 to 50 euros, depending on the time of day. It is possible to take the bus but it involves a transfer through a Malaga bus station.

Med Getaway with Charm

The Rincon Sol is a lovely hotel in a great spot next to the sea. We stayed in a sea front room with a spacious balcony overlooking the Med. Sea. Past reviews spoke of cold hot breakfasts; this is still true. The guy will fix you breakfast if you asked, but we did not. The parking scheme is pretty strange, but works as we had 13 days with free parking. The staff were pretty lovely people, and the hotel is pretty quiet for sitting in such a heavily travelled setting. The rooms are well kept and very clean. As we stayed a long time, we had a need for laundry services which were highly priced. With no onsite coin operated laundry, we went to the SuperSol and bought some detergent; doing our laundry in the bathroom and drying it on the balcony. Not the best, but again it works. The town of Rincon is very nice and has many restaurants and places to walk. The bus to Malaga was a hit with us as we did not want to drive into the city....Malaga is wonderful. Overall, this is not a perfect hotel, but it is very clean, comfortable, and friendly. The price was also very reasonable, and the breakfast had a lot of variety...invest in some hotplates please!!. Wen liked the place a lot and would return if we could ever stand the horrible flights to Europe again. The Costa del Sol rules.
