Not sure why there are some poor reviews for this hotel, we had a junior suite for not much more than a standard room and it was great! Spacious- comfortable bed nice and warm in the cold winter and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good and the pool is 10meters long so not bad for indoor. (decor is traditional) but we really enjoyed our stay and breakfast was excellent too! Also in a great location.

The place has redeeming features but the overall impression is one of a tired hotel that desperately needs a refurb. I will start with the best points. The location is fantastic and, without doubt, the best thing about it. The staff are very friendly, the cleaning staff do a good job and the beds are comfortable enough. I can't comment on the pool or spa because I didn't use them. Everything else required improvement. The breakfast consisted of a large buffet with the usual options. It was all edible but not great quality and the coffee was mediocre at best and out of a machine. The first room we were offered reeked of old, stale carpet to such an extent that we asked to change rooms. We were then shown four more, which all smelled the same to a greater or lesser extent. We settled on the least offensive for one night, with a promise that we would be given a better room for the remainder of the stay. The room that we were then given was exactly the same, leading me to believe that every room in this hotel smells of dirty carpet. The new room also had an extra peculiarity, in that the plug socket by the bed would only work if one of the other lights was on, meaning that I couldn't charge my phone by the bed. That seemed pretty basic. The restaurant and bar at the front entrance of the hotel were permanently empty, which spoke for itself. All in all, the hotel was bearable but not 4-star by any stretch of the imagination and we won't stay here again.

This is a nice, clean, comfortable, safe hotel adjacent to Vilnius’ Old Town. It’s very convenient to walk from here to area attractions. There are two negatives, however. The layout of this hotel with multiple levels, elevators and access points is confusing for first time guests and not really accessible for those with physical limitations. To get to the elevator to our room we had to walk through the lobby and up stairs, walk through the housekeeping work area and then through the parking garage. Also, the web site said parking in the hotel garage was €30, which I thought was high, but was prepared to pay, however they wanted €50 for “the last spot!” That was VERY disappointing. Just park in a nearby lot and save the difference.

Hotel is good and comfortable in a very convenient area close to everything in the Old Town, restaurants, cafes and main squares are all around the corner. Breakfast is great. The only issue was air conditioner barely worked even on the lowest setting and we were visiting during much colder weather than is normally in August so I can’t imagine how hot it would get in the rooms during a truly hot day.

Good check-in. There was some confusion about parking arrangements in the hotel's covered parking and outside the hotel, resulting in my motorcycle being given a parking ticket. Eventually a good solution to the parking issue was agreed with the hotel receptionists, but getting to that solution was stressful at times. Parking in the centre of Vilnius seems expensive.

We had very pleasant stay in Artis hotel. We stayed in suite and it was very spacious with balcony with great views. Beds and pillows were especially comfortable! Friendly staff, nice reception by Rugilė. Best location, close to everything lnice restaurants and main attractions. I'd definitely come back again!

Ars Centrum Hotel is a beautiful old grand dame. My room was impeccable with high ceilings, crown moldings, wall paper and lovely furniture and chandelier. The bed was very comfortable and the light came from many large windows. Very good breakfast. Highly recommend

We had two adjoining rooms and agreed the beds were quite comfortable. The price was very good and we were close to the sights we wanted to visit and nice restaurants. A clean hotel with friendly staff. The parking is a bit pricey but there is public parking fairly close. Would definitely stay here again.

This was my first time in Vilnius. I am very happy with the choice I made for accommodations. The staff who greeted me were super friendly and accommodating.The hotel is only two blocks from a street lined with great eating choices. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area but only a few blocks from a major shopping area and tourist attractions. If i return to Vilnius I would certainly stay at this hotel.

A wonderful place to stay in vilnius

I travel a great deal. This hotel fits all of my needs. It's very nice, the lobby is beautiful, the room is gigantic, it's quiet, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, checking in is a breeze, the breakfast is extremely good, the rooms are fine, location is within a 10 or 15 minute walk from just about everything in the old town of Vilnius.

And the price is right.

Loved our stay. Really nice classic hotel. Large rooms with great high ceilings and lots of space also had a small balcony to enjoy the sun.
Breakfast is the highlight here. Good full English range as well as pastry and sliced fruits and yogurt. They also have some fresh salmon sashimi and herring which goes great with a boiled egg. Great start to the day.
The staff was efficient and friendly.
The location is great with a nice sushi place just next door as well.

I have had a very pleasant stay in Artis Hotel. Reception staff was very nice and kind. Breakfast is good and satisfied the needs of different preferences. Staff who works there is always here-there but very pleasant and discreet.The Hotel is walking distance from main street and old town. Nearby one also can find city bus stops for different places. Artis Hotel is in a very quiet area and sleeping is good. I have not used the other facilities. The architecture and concept inside the hotel reminded mi to my beloved Palace Hotel in Zagreb, that I love so much and so, I have my Palace in Vilnius. So, Artis is a very good choice and made my stay in Vilnius wonderful.

Not a very clean hotel, lots of marks on the toilet seat and smelled horrible in the toilet like there was some leakage from above the floor. Room was very noise could hear people talking, reception serving customers constantly because of the structure of the building . The housekeeper person came in to my room twice without my consent she just knocked once and used her master room to scan in within 1 second, the toilet door was facing the main door and she saw me in the toilet …… terrible experience

Artis Centrum is right in the centre of the old town, but it has all the mod cons you would need. The breakfasts are ample and varied, and the room was quite large and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Bring your own alarm clock and plug for the sink!

Our stay at Artis was very pleasant for the most part. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. We would have loved it there if it wasn't for one thing, their air-conditioning was sub par. Our room was hot and stuffy. It was hard to sleep well, and if we opened the window to let the night air in, there was an outdoor terrace/bar going full blast. We asked them to fix it, but apparently the entire hotel is like this, according to them.
Otherwise we enjoyed our stay as much as possible. It was unfortunate, but has to be said.

We have just returned from a two night stay at Artis Centrum Hotel. As we arrived on an early flight we were fortunate enough to be able to check in early. Our room was a standard double with a city view and was located on the third floor. The room was equipped with a mini bar, safe, flat screen TV, twin beds, tea/coffee making facilities, air con/heating, free toiletries, slippers, hairdryer and a good WiFi connection throughout the hotel. As we planned to use the spa we requested bath robes from reception and they were duly delivered to our room. Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the second floor from 7am -10am and had a wonderful variety of food from scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon to delicious fresh fruit and yogurt. There is a self service machine for tea and coffee. The staff here were very attentive and efficient. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room was located on the ground floor opposite the lift and could be used free of charge from 8am -11am and 5pm - 9pm. The towels are located near the pool. We were lucky enough to be able to use the spa again on our last day after we had checked out as we were taking a late flight home. The hotel is in a great location and is walking distance to numerous coffee shops, restaurants and all the city sights including the Cathedral, the Hill of Three Crosses, KGB Museum and Gates of Dawn. Our room was cleaned daily, the beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. The staff were polite and helpful .

we were only there two nights which was just enough
there were not enough towels in the bathroom and no-one answered the phone when we called down for more.. luckily the chambermaids parked their cart just outside our room so we helped ourselves to more

Dining room staff didnt really seem to care about anything we asked for... thought it was extremely strange that a person would want granulated sugar, which of course they didnt have.

No major complaints but not raving about it either

Wonderful location for sightseeing. Very classy hotel created by knocking old buildings together. Attractive bright atrium lobby with chilled water freely available. Large room 305 with large beautiful windows, and comfortable beds and furnishings. Tastefully decorated. Large bathroom. Good water heat and pressure. I made good use of small gym, sauna,steam room and ten metre pool. Friendly bar staff, with good selection only slightly higher priced than outside. Extensive buffet breakfast served in large first floor restaurant and catering to most tastes. Only drawback was the few inconvenient power outlets for recharging.
