This is an exceptional hotel with fantastic food and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. It was easy to get everywhere with cabs as there’s not much within walking distance. We also dined at the Radisson and were really glad we stayed here - the buffet was much better and the hotel more stylish.

The service inside the hotel is a disaster the employees on the front desk. They’re not helpful never never felt such treatment and bad service at this hotel at previous visits .
I’m trying to be honest and open we wish for the hotel good luck .

We were told at check-in that we were getting an “upgrade,” but it honestly didn’t feel like one. The room was in a completely dead part of the hotel with a dark, empty pool as the view. The lively side wasn’t offered to us. When I mentioned it to the staff, they didn’t seem to care and kept insisting it was an upgrade.

Another thing that really disappointed us was what happened in the lobby. We had ordered food from outside for our child since it had more child-friendly options. Before he started eating, I asked the waiter three separate times if it was okay for him to eat there. He said yes every time. Once my child actually started eating, a lady from the hotel suddenly came and told us we had to eat in our room. How do you stop a child in the middle of eating and tell them to move? It made us feel uncomfortable and honestly didn’t make sense, especially after we had already checked with their own staff.

Overall, the experience felt very inconsistent and not family-friendly at all.

This is an excellent hotel with exceptional staff particularly in the restaurants. I stayed for nine nights (for work) and ate in the hotel most nights but the terrific buffet had so many options it never got dull. The breakfast is wonderful and the pool was lovely. I will definitely stay here again.

Outstanding experience at Rotana! The manager, front desk and housekeeping went above and beyond to pay attention to small advance requests and housekeeping was amazing! The rooms are spotless and absolutely gorgeous. Zest offered a delicious buffet dinner and breakfast as always. Thank you Al Ain Rotana and the manager of this hotel who has clearly formed a solid team. Well done!

The hotel is well positioned in the city, great staff and service and has good breakfast and dinner options. The pool was great for the kids although it got busy over the weekend.

The stay was amazing, a long with great service, staring from the entrance/ valet Luis helped us, then Jessie did great job at the reception along with great service support from the IT and the reception to solve a small issue I had at my room, then great breakfast with a lot of varieties and Yousef there was very polite and supportive, near the pool the people were very supportive specially the life guard Anaas and the team. The room that I booked is huge and I recommend you to book on first floor -new wing- it perfectly fitted my family including 2 of my kids and has huge balcony facing the pool, In general I would do it again for sure and this my 3rd time at this hotel, I could notice the level of changes and the great service level, thanks again 👍

I booked on Hotels.com a king size bed pool view on the new wing,

Where do I start ..

I was given a twin room instead with a view of a pool under renovation, the balcony has no visual barrier to the rooms both to my right and left, if you look left or right you see your neighbors hence zero privacy.

The bed mattress was quite stiff but the pillows were great, location is very good with plenty of parking.

Don’t expect a “Rotana” experience.

I was really disappointed in the level of service we received during our stay in the hotel. The room was not properly prepared for 2 guest, even though that's what the booking said. Half of items in the room were missing for the 2nd person, like bathrobe, slippers, etc. When we brought this to the attention of the staff over the phone, we were promised the problem will be resolved shortly. After 10 minute silence, we called again and got another portion of promises. And then the same happened again. And again. Overall we made 4 calls in the span of an hour. We have wasted all this time waiting for someone to come, which is a lot considering this was a weekend trip for us. We have brought up this issue during the checkout, to which we got a response which I can only summarise as \"Ah, so sorry that happened to you\". It didn't happen to us. You did this. Talking to guests in passive voice does not make the situation better. It is baffling to me that this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel service. I would your hotels at all cost.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and can happily say it was a great experience.
The breakfast had a-lot of choice with staff going out there way to get you anything you wished.
The area had a lovely calm feel to it and was nice and quite too.

In the evening we spent each night at trader vic restaurant/ bar, which was amazing! Food was great especially the seafood wok dish.
Had a great tiki vibe with a large selection of cocktails and mock tails.
The music Spanish vibes which worked really well. They had two girls who sang with great voices and added to the experience which was brilliant.

Would highly recommend this place and if I’m ever back in Al Ain it would be the only place I would stay without a doubt.

It was great stay and our room was upgraded to junior suit. The suit was in excellent condition however it was missing some items like slippers, coffee machine, iron and iron board, but the stay was great.

We had a great time at Al Ain Rotana. We got upgraded to a suite, which was a blessing considering we were travelling with kids. The staff was also super friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.

I'm terms of facilities, the hotel seems to have been renovated recently, it features a really large pool and a playground so for those travelling with kids it's a great choice.

We had a great time here. Al Ain is a beautiful community and Rotana was really impressive. Great place for kids, took our daughter to the hotel swimming pool and on the playground in the morning, then to the fort across the street in the afternoon. The breakfast is great, all in all a great experience. Highly recommend it.

Liked everything about this Hotel..location, room space and cleanliness. The only disappointment was we had requested for 2 rooms with a connecting door, but when we checked in they were separate. Even after an overnight stay, hotel staff did not realise to rectify the mistake.

I also want to bringto your attention achild poo'd bext to the pool and this was just sprayed down with water. I think some kind of disinfectant shouldbe used. Especially with the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The child was then cleaned by the mom and gor bacj into the pool.

The facilities however were super!!!

Only recognizable hotel in Al Ain. Allowed us to check in a few minutes early.
Long wait to check in.
Disappointing news about tennis court facility. No indication of additional cost and this was the main reason why we chose to stay there.
Room was dirty and with terrible smell.
Elevator was scary as not properly functioning at times.

Older hotel but you wouldn't know it. It's clean and comfortable. The rooms are large and have all the amenities. I had a City View King that also had a view of the pool.

The 2nd shift room service order taker seemed to really dislike his job. He wasn't pleasant on the phone and \"forgot\" to put in my order. After a 45 minute wait, I called and they did not have a record of my order saying the last guy didn't submit the order. Also, the prices on the room service menu are not accurate. They are considerably more. Ask when you call.

Nice, clean hotel with a friendly atmosphere.
However, kids run riot in the pool and aren't controlled which made it a very un-relaxing atmosphere. The swim up bar was inaccessible for a number of hours as the children were using it as a play area rather than the actual family pool and kids pool.
We were disappointed that there are two pools advertised and were both mentioned at check in, however, it depends what room you stay in as to whether or not you have access to the other, quieter pool.

Al Ain Rotana was great. We got upgraded for free as a first time welcome. The room was comfortable and clean with beautiful pool view. The breakfast has extensive variety and is delicious. The location is a few minutes walk from the Jahili fort. Wonderful !

I’ve have been coming to the Rotana Al Ain at least once a year for the past 5 years. It is the best hotel in my opinion in the area. It’s not overcrowded and the amenities are great. It is a cozy, comfortable hotel with great service. The buffet is plenty and so are the restaurant options. The gym is great and offers top notch machines. I highly recommend this hotel

I've known this hotel for over five years. If you are in Al Ain this is the place to stay. Friendly staff, great food, comfortable, nice property. Many hotels have a heavy Arabic motif this one makes Arabs and folks from other countries feel at home. Don't miss out on Trader Vic's on the property.

The hotel is well situated, the staff is good, but the hotel lacks adequate management and decision making. Also many facilities need maintenance. We were with a group, it took the hotel nearly three hours to facilitate rooms for everyone, we were promised to be together and we were sent everywhere in the place.

The hotel is easy to find and driving up gives you a very nice impression of the resort. Check in was fast and efficient, even though we arrived amidst several other travelers. The valet took our car and we were offered seats at the café in the lobby while the receptionist gathered all our documents for check-in. While waiting we were offered, fresh local Al Ain dates and Arabic coffee, a very nice touch.

Afterwards the actual check-in was fast, and the receptionist was friendly and efficient. The overall arrival and check-in was top notch.

We booked one of the two bedroom villas with direct access to the pool, so my review will be based on that room, not the regular hotel rooms. Overall it was a very nice, spacious room. My wife and I had a comfortable King-sized bed with separate patio overlooking the pool and ensuite bathroom. My son had a spacious room with two twin beds and separate bathroom as well. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The living area of the villa was also quite large, with a separate kitchen and family room with a patio overlooking the pool area. An added bonus; there is covered parking right outside the villa door with a separate drive up, gated entrance.

I think the room is quite dated though, and is in need of a remodel and/or renovation...the furniture was old and very standard, nothing spectacular or memorable. The amenities consisted of several bottles of still water, instant coffee, and a Nespresso machine. However, the charge wa
